Is LED background wall suitable for small campus performances?
If you want to attract attention in small campus performances, the stage effect is the key. LED background walls have become the "atmosphere" of many activities with their high brightness, bright colors and dynamic display. But for campus activities with limited budgets and limited venues, is LED background wall really suitable? By analyzing the global LED display market data, we will talk about its applicability and help you create a wonderful performance.

Why can LED background walls light up the stage?
LED displays are popular all over the world for their visual impact. According to Data Bridge Market Research, the global high-power LED market size reached US$6.6 billion in 2021, and is expected to have an annual compound growth rate of 4.2% in 2028. This is especially suitable for stage performances thanks to the high brightness, energy saving and long life of LEDs.
For small campus performances, LED background walls have three major advantages:
Visual shock: HD video, dynamic patterns and even 3D effects easily create an immersive atmosphere, far beyond traditional curtains. Take you 8 minutes to fully understand the 3D LED display.
Flexible adaptation: The modular design can be spliced according to the stage size, like SoStron's small-pitch LED screen, with high resolution and suitable for close viewing.
Fast content switching: Through control software, the LED screen can switch images in real time, adapting to different program needs, seamlessly converting from lyrical starry sky to cool light effects.

Realistic considerations for small campus performances
Although the LED background wall is very "scented", the budget, venue and technical support for small performances are limited, so we have to start from reality.
Budget: Is it expensive?
The price of LED displays varies by brand and pixel density. Ordinary screens are $800-1,200 per square meter, and high-definition small-pitch screens are more expensive. Purchasing is expensive for campuses, but the rental market is mature. Brands such as Qiangli Giant and Zhouming provide flexible solutions. The cost of a single event can be controlled at several thousand to ten thousand yuan, depending on the screen size. Provide you with 7 guides to save the cost of stage rental LED screens.
Recommendation: Rental is more economical, with a 3m×2m screen enough to meet the needs of a small auditorium, and the cost is about $1,500.

Venue: Can the small stage be used?
The small campus stage area is usually tens to hundreds of square meters, and the modular design of LED screens is very suitable. According to the SoStron case, the LED screen performs excellently in small conference rooms and other scenarios, is light in weight and convenient to install, and can be deployed with a mobile bracket.
Note: Ensure the power stability (LED screen consumes 300-600W per square meter), select the P2.5-P4 pixel spacing screen to ensure close-range clarity.
Technology: Is the operation complicated?
LED screens need to be connected to video processors and debug content, which may be difficult for campus activities without professional teams. But now the control system is becoming simpler, and the zen system like SoStron Micro LED is operationally friendly, and suppliers usually provide technical support.
Suggestions: Choose a renter with technical support, or train students to operate software such as NovaStar.

Global Trends: How to Empower Campus?
The global LED market is moving towards "smart interaction". Data from InfoComm China in 2025 shows that AI-added ultra-high-definition LED screens are hot topics and can achieve interactive effects, such as switching screens based on actor actions. In smart campuses, LED screens are used for cultural display and event publicity, significantly increasing participation. American universities have begun to use LED screens combined with AR technology to create a virtual stage, with amazing results.
Case: How does LED screen improve campus performances?
A college welcome party rents a 4m×2.5m P3 LED screen, which costs about US$1,200. It plays opening video, program animation and real-time barrage, and the audience feedbacks "like a professional concert." This shows that LED background walls can greatly improve performance results with a controllable budget. Provide you with LED background wall: functions, applications and purchasing guides.
Summary of advantages and disadvantages
advantage:
Strong visual: Improve professionalism and atmosphere.
Flexible content: supports multiple program formats.
Brand effect: Increase the influence of the event.
shortcoming:
High cost: Lease still requires a certain budget.
Technical threshold: Simple training or outsourcing support is required.
Site requirements: Constant power and space are required.
Conclusion: Is the LED background wall worth using?
Combining global data and cases, LED background walls are very suitable for small campus performances, especially activities that pursue high visual effects. As long as the budget allows (recommended rental), stable power, and basic technical support, the LED screen can turn the performance from "ordinary" to "stunning". Schools with tight budgets can choose from small-size screens or custom-made plans with suppliers.

Posted about British colonial officials in 1860s South India being fascinated by studying geology of Deccan Plateau as both a potential source of material wealth but also as more like intellectual curiosity that allowed them to consider "deep time" and the place of "civilization" in history. And someone shared post, commenting in tags something sort of like "interesting how British Empire could be so focused on rocks."
And really:
Both British imperial power and British popular imagination are tied to "ancient rocks"
British coal and coal-powered engines transformed global ecologies and societies with railroads and factories at the same time that British public became widely aware of dinosaurs, extinct Pleistocene megafauna, the vast scale of deep time, geology, and uniformitarian Earth systems. Then British anthropology, Egyptomania, archaeology, etc., were implicated in professionalization of sciences and ideas of primitivsm/racial hierarchy. Then British extraction of liquid fossil fuels instantiated expansion of petroleum products. Victorian popular culture had a penchant for contemplating death, decay, deep past, civilizational collapse, classical antiquity. So there's a simultaneous fixation on both temporality and materiality. Which both involve "earth."
-
Consider:
Coal. How the mining of "ancient rock" (300-million-year-old Carboniferous) and coal-burning probably strongly propelled Britain (tied also to enclosure laws and Caribbean slave profits reinvested in ascendant financial/insurance institutions) to the "first" industrialization around 1830, helping cement its global hegemony and setting a blueprint for European/US industry. How burning that ancient rock "unlocked steam power" for Britain and facilitated the rapid expansion of railroad networks after the first public steam railway in 1825 (steam engines then let Britain reach and extract resources from hinterlands) while the rock also powered textile mills after the 1830s (putting poorer Britons to work in mills and factories while "Poor Laws" were put into effect outlawing "vagrancy" and "joblessness") which reshaped "the countryside" in Britain and reshaped global ecologies and labor regimes. Provincial realist novels and other literature reflect anxiety about this ecological/social transition. Even later Victorian novels and fin de siecle commentaries hint how coal and industrialization invoke temporality more directly, in that the engines and technologies provoke rhetoric and discourses about exponential growth, linear progress, and dazzling future horizons.
Fossils of Pleistocene megafauna: How an extinct Mastodon was displayed at Pall Mall in London in 1802. And how William Conybeare's discovery/description of coal-bearing rock in Britain led him to name "the Carboniferous period" in 1822, but it wasn't just coal power that this event inspired. in the very same year, Conybeare described the remains of extinct Pleistocene hyenas at Kirkdale Cave in Britain. The promotion of this discovery of Ice Age hyenas gave many Britons for the first time an awareness of deep past and obsession with Creatures. But the promotion also brought spectacle, public display, poetics, and marketing into natural history like "edu-tainment," a "poetics of popular science." This took place in the context of the rapid rise of British mass-market print media. Geological verse, Victorian novels, and cheap miscellanies reflect anxiety about this temporality and natural history.
Geology as a discipline: How the 1830 publishing of Lyell's monumentally significant Principles of Geology, directly inspired after he observed British ancient rock formations at Isle of Arran, completely changed European/US understanding of deep time and geology and the scale of Earth systems (uniformity principle), which made people wonder about linear notions of history and whether empires/societies can survive forever in such vast time scales.
Dinosaur fossils: How the "first dinosaur sculptures in the world" (dinosaur fossils reminiscent of ancient rock?) were reconstructed and put on display by Britain in 1854 at Crystal Palace in London following "the Great Exhibition," an event which set the model for future exhibitions and started the global craze for "world's fairs" and expositions showcasing imperial/industrial power for decades (the model for Chicago's Columbian Exposition of 1893, Paris event of 1900, St. Louis event of 1904, and beyond).
Soil mapping: How "ancient rock" was entangled with one of the most significant scientific projects of all-time, Britain's "The Great Trigonometric Survey of India" in 1802, undertaken to survey and record soil types across South Asia. After the resistance of the leaders of Mysore had finally been defeated, the subcontinent was vulnerable to consolidated British colonial power, and surveys were ordered immediately. The mapping of acreage for tax administration by the East India Company would remake societies with bordered property, contracted ownership, tax/wealth extraction. But the Survey also let Britain map soil for purposes of monoculture agriculture planning. Britain then used geology/soil as potential indicators of biological essentialism that equated "ancient" Gonds of India or "ancient" Aboriginal peoples of Australia with primitivism. Adventure stories and sportsmen's pulp magazines reflect anxiety about these cultural and geographical frontiers.
Diamonds: How the discovery of ancient rock (diamonds, from tens of millions of years old kimberlite) in the Kimberly (South Africa) rocketed Britain to more power when their colonial commissioners took possession in 1871, giving Britain a foothold and paving the way for Cecil Rhodes to amass astonishing wealth while completely remaking social institutions, labor regimes, and environments in southern Africa, giving Britain so much profit from diamonds that in 1882 Kimberly was only the second city on the whole planet to install electric street lighting.
Egyptomania: How British archaeologists digging around in ancient rock of their vassal/colony of Egypt, especially the tens of thousands of ancient Egyptian artifacts that they collected between 1880 and 1890, contributed to a craze for classical antiquity and a fixation on the ancient Mediterranean and mummies.
Victorian death fascination: How British archaeologists interacting with ancient rock in Southwest Asia (Mesopotamia, Levant) coupled with the Egyptomania also strongly influenced Late Victorian obsessions with death, decay, the occult, millennarian dates, and civilizational collapse which continued to influence culture, fashion, historicity, and narrativizing in Europe/US for years. Perhaps they wondered: "If Ur could fall, if Thebes could fall, if Mycenae could fall, if ROME could fall, then how could our civilization based in fair London survive such vast eons of time and such strong geological and environmental forces?"
Liquid fossil fuels: How "ancient rock" yielded liquid fossil that was extracted by British industrialsits when the first test oil wells were dug at "the Black Spot" in Borneo in 1896 which led to creation of Shell Oil company in 1897 led by a British director who was fascinated with ancient fossils. Followed then the global expansion of combustion engines, oil lubricants, and networks of imperial infrastructure to extract and refine oil. And how British tinkering with "ancient rock" of Persia and Southwest Asia led to the bolstering of a "Middle East" oil industry; the Anglo-Persian Oil Company was founded in 1909, giving Britain yet more geopolitical leverage in the region; the company would later become BP, one of the biggest and most profitable corporations to ever exist.
-
So the immaterial imaginaries of place/space and time (frontiers, the exotic/foreign, the tropical/Orient, ascent/decay, civilization/savagery, deep past/future horizons) justify or organize or pre-empt or service the material dispossession and accumulation.
British Empire transformed Earth and earth. Both materially/physically and immaterially/imaginatively.

SOMETHING LECHEROUS !!! GEORGE R. X FEM!READER X TOTO W.
summary: this was the only time when someone lucked out with toto's wife. after the austrian grand prix, maybe george should consider winning more.

something sinful (smut) masterlist

if you’d like to get on one of my taglists, check this post out
mrs. wolff was the most sought-after woman in the paddock despite the ‘wolff’ name being attached to her soul and public image.
everyone knew who she was, having been the mercedes boss’ wife, but it didn’t deter them from ogling whenever she passed by with grace and entrancing presence.
toto knew that. he knew all too well about the ogling, the staring, the subtle glances. and because of that, he would often shadow his wife whenever she came by.
there was an unspoken rule applied by toto: don’t talk to mrs. wolff unless you’re standing feet away from her, don’t ever touch her, don’t ever dream of being with her.
it wasn’t even that he didn’t trust his wife around other people, no. instead, he didn’t trust other people around his wife.
george russell was one of those people. as bad as it sounded, george always found himself unintentionally ogling and staring at mrs. wolff whenever she came by in the brackley factory or in the race tracks. who wouldn’t find her beautiful? she had poise and charm that george couldn’t explain.
hell, george couldn’t blame toto for falling for her grace. or rather, he couldn’t blame his team principal for falling for whatever the fuck she had on.
but there was something about the austrian air that night that led george to saunter towards the woman. was it his victorious ending at the race? george wasn’t certain.
but this was a rare occasion; mrs. wolff never joined the celebratory occasions before, and seeing her here with a nice slit dress and ever ravishing smile drove everyone insane. seeing her here while toto was on the other side of the bar, though…
george could get fired for even trying anything with her, he could admit, but ego was something that every f1 driver had and right now the briton couldn’t refuse the inflation of his. he had to try, especially when she was dressed like she wanted to get it off already.
so that’s what george did: chatted with her and talked with alcohol in their hands. there were a lot of things that george learned to say and not say.
mrs. wolff had the nicest laugh, george could admit, but her lips looking so kissable was just another can of worms that he couldn’t open. especially when toto was somewhere to take the bait and potentially lead his wife to saunter away from the race winner.
george couldn’t lose her now, so he opted to chat with her instead. behind his blue eyes was something forbidden. lust.
he could understand why people ogled mrs. wolff now — she was a walking aphrodisiac, like her pheromones were through the roof and george could sense all of it. they were enough for his trousers to tighten a little.
fuck, he couldn’t have that now. not when…
not when toto’s hand snaked around his wife’s waist and squeezed her hip. not when the atmosphere inside the bar turned hotter when toto came by. not when toto’s head dipped down to feed onto his and her desire and show everyone whose wife mrs. wolff was.
george shifted in his seat, not even looking away from toto’s surprising public display of affection. toto was always professional, but then again he was off-track.
george did the one thing that people rarely got to do: watch toto’s younger wife become needy for the team principal. it was… hot. fuck it really was hot. but he needed more.
and it seemed like toto sensed it too, his hand running through his wife’s hair before grabbing a handful to tilt her head towards george’s direction.
george could tell she was a putty in toto’s hands, her eyes glazed in neediness and desire. toto smirked at the tension that he felt amongst the three of them, nipping on her earlobe as he asked her, “do you think you can do it, mein liebe?”
“yes,” she bit her lip, her hooded eyes trailing at george. the brit could see a lot of lust in her eyes, as if she wasn’t just laughing at some shitty joke he made five minutes ago.
she was an entirely different person, and toto turned her on with a snap of his fingers. seeing her so aroused because of toto made george want her more and the team principal could see it.
toto chuckled softly, nipping her craned neck before telling george, “we’re heading up.”
george could only nod, frozen in his position. what did that even mean?
it seemed as though george’s confusion was all over his face because toto seemed to answer his unspoken question with, “do you want to come along? i know you want to fuck my wife like most people.”
what?
toto smirked, “c’mon, george. lewis would’ve jumped at the chance if he could.”
george wasn’t any better either. this was something that most people wouldn’t ever expect from toto wolff. the man was possessive and wouldn’t let anyone touch his wife.
god must have been playing favourites. but george couldn’t care less. he had the austrian grand prix win and now he got the win that most people would’ve wanted: a night spent with her.
so that was how george found himself stomach flat against the mattress, the woman’s legs spread out while the brit’s tongue lapped at her drenched pussy. her knicker was pulled aside, reverberations in her cunt making her body squirm and her mouth water.
she sought for her husband’s cock, but toto was busy watching them from the armchair he set by the bed. each time she pleaded for toto, all toto said were ‘patience’ or ‘behave yourself.’
george’s being left to pleasure her on his own while toto watched was something that made the brit’s cock twitch in his trousers.
“god, you taste so fucking good,” george murmured between his tongue lapping. she uttered out a moan, making george grind his hips against the mattress for friction.
“toto, please,” she mewled quietly, looking at her sitting husband while toto stroked his thick cock. “lemme taste-“
“i want to hear you whine and moan, schatzi,” toto crooned, pressing a kiss on her forehead, “i want george to hear you moan for him.”
“mmfh-“ she whimpered, her mouth eager to taste her husband. but she couldn’t say much when she felt herself nearing the edge with george’s mouth and fingers. “fuck- george. you- oh fuck george- fuck!”
“yeah, cum on my fingers, darling,” george tutted softly, lapping on her and sucking on her clit while his fingers curled up against her sensitive spot. “give it to me-“
“fuck- yes! oh, fuck,” her body arched and her hips grinned against george’s face, and the british man could’ve cum right there.
george’s cock was agonizingly straining inside his trousers, precum leaking when his lips and chin glistened while she rode out her orgasm and coated his mouth and fingers.
“oh, you sweet little thing,” george cooed at her as he moved up to capture her lips with his. his fingers never left her, only sliding out of her cunt when he unzipped his trousers.
“taste so good, doesn’t she?” toto smirked and chuckled darkly, his eyes darkening at the sight of his wife being ravished by his driver.
“abso-fucking-lutely,” george laughed too, finally taking off his trousers and taking the foil packet that toto tossed his way.
“she loves that,” toto hummed, his eyes never leaving his lust-ridden wife as he licked his lips. but he didn’t dare touch her, enjoying the sight of her. “my wife- ever the sweetest thing who loves getting off with my mouth and my fingers… how about you let her cum in your cock this time, hm?”
“on all fours, doll,” george murmured, helping her into the position as he moved behind. “facing your husband, sweets.”
she was gone. she was certainly gone when she looked at her husband, watching toto stroke the one thing that she wanted in her mouth. heat was rising in her cheeks, her body warming up to 40 degrees as george hooked her arms behind her and slid his cock in slowly.
both her and george let out guttural moans, george’s face turning red in enjoyment as his pace turned moderate.
she looked at toto with half-lidded eyes, biting her lip at the sight of him stroking his cock. it was all too damn good.
“you look so fucked out, liebling,” toto said lowly. she seemed out of it, only nodding to his words. “you’re so gone, aren’t you? so fucked out?”
“yeah… yes,” she stammered hazily, “so good, toto.”
“yeah?”
“yes,” she cried out when george angled to hit her spot repeatedly. “fuck- toto, he’s so good-“
“good girl,” george crooned from behind her, “good fucking girl with a tight cunt- god, you’re so fucking good.”
“fuck her, george,” toto instructed with a smirk, prompting george to smirk too and follow as he was told. “look at that face of hers- she could cum right now and she could cum again and again.”
“oh fuck- yes,” she whined softly, her face scrunching in pleasure as her mouth gaped open. she was overwhelmed with pleasure, unable to keep track of who was talking. “you’re- oh god, george!”
“you’re gonna be the death of me, schatzi,” toto commented, his stroking hand matching george’s thrusting pace. toto groaned out, “fuck her hard. she loves that, george.”
george wasn’t able to contest toto’s command, not when he was there only once. this was a rare occasion, and if it meant that he had to follow her husband’s words then fuck it.
george might as well do the things that people were unable to do with mrs. wolff. if people only knew— he was a lucky bastard to even be able to see her like this while she lusted over toto and him.

Musk's idiotically repellent display during the inauguration got me thinking of a couple of things I've posted about in the past relating to nazism and how we might think of it today.
before WWII the nazi leadership met with the German business elite and essentially offered them a deal, that in exchange for their support they would keep their factories and their positions and their profits, and this deal was accepted.
obviously it was not worth it: their profits were illusory while the bombs were very real, any "defeatism" led to execution or suicide, and Hitler's last act was to order the destruction of any factories that were not already rubble.
they had many opportunities to forestall this outcome but it would have required acting earlier and with foresight as to the risks of war and authoritarian government, something that should be much easier for us today, having their example from which to learn.
(it might also have helped if they had not devoted their lives to the mass production of armaments and been less eager to support wars of conquest as long as their profit margin was respected).
we know better today! and one of the things we know is that anyone publicly espousing nazi affiliation is begging for a fucking beating, by any criteria you can name!
it cannot escape anyone's awareness that nazis were the enemy of humanity, they literally declared war on the world and the world beat the absolute shit out of them, that much is known.
but they were the enemy of humanity in more ways than that: they propagated a vision of humanity as perpetually at war with itself, a humanity in which violence was a necessity and rule could only be justified by force, a humanity of torture and blood and death.
of all the ideologies held by petty warlords that set out to gain power over others, nazism is one of the most extreme, by the briefness of its history and the scale of its atrocities and the stark terms of social darwinism (with apologies to Darwin, whose personal beliefs and scientific discoveries were diametrically opposed to anything Hitler ever contemplated) and might makes right by which it justified them.
an avowed nazi has no grounds for complaint for being beaten: it is an outcome entirely consistent with past experience and future expectations, something that the world has stated will happen with great clarity for eighty years, and by the logic of their own ideology the loser of such a fight rightly deserves it.
to invite such a thing is the act of a fool who requires education, or a madman who needs help, or, sometimes, an absolute fuckwit who wants a beating.

I apologize in advance, but the brainworms did a heckin screech and I felt the need to share the chaos.
Imagine, if you will, that our Creator let's it slip that they've interacted with other worlds before reaching Teyvat. (Played other video games) Imagine having to explain that in these other worlds, they may or may not have been interested in the denizens of those realms...sometimes in the romantic sense, which led to wedding bells and/or children.
Cue the uproar from the Genshin cast. The Creator, Blessed Maker of All...you have courted others? Have been married?? You have had children??? Their image of you being pure and untouchable, blown apart into tiny little pieces of confetti. 🎉
Though many loathe to admit it, they are curious...who are these people, what are they like? Is there a common factor in your selection of spouses? You would only pick the very best of a realm to choose as a potential partner, surely another being of creation...or perhaps a demigod?
It leads to the proverbial red string board getting made, the Archons trying to find out who is your most likely pick from their regions. It's all for your safety, your Benevolence! If you insist on having a partner, they must find the perfect match for you! You deserve only the best of the best, after all.
Bonus points if the Creator was a fan of games like the Harvest Moon/Rune Factory series. They're gonna need to make a list of all their partners, there are so many options to choose from. >>_>>
I'll admit I never played any of those games so I skimmed through the harvest moon wiki and chose one of the bachelors and chose some other game characters lol. Plus a game for all of you, guess the characters.
Though I do think that the reader having children before causes a bit of whiplash because it's totally unexpected, mostly because there were no records of you taking spouses or kids, even knowing you ‘have’ (play) other worlds is a surprise that causes a bit of a crisis. Either way here are some head cannons.
“I must admit, your grace is awfully attached to Qiqi” Zhongli hums as he blows on his white tea, a small cloud of steam leaving.
Qiqi doesn't pay him much mind, her head coddled under your chin like a little puppy, between her hands there is a small bird plushie “Well, I must admit she does kind of remind me of one of my little ones” Your hand softly pats her head, a few strands of hair moving as you do.
He stills as you spoke, eyes fixated on his cup “your… little ones?”
“Mhm?” Without looking up from the braid you were giving to the little girl you just nod “yep, she is quite soft spoken like Milenoe”
“... I wasn't aware your grace had sired children” there was never any mentions about holy spawns or spouses taken by you in any manuscript he got his hands on.
“Well, I never chose a couple from this world, so there wouldn't be any descendants” the comment slips airly from your lips as Qiqi slides off your lap towards baizhu who had finished checking the books from your bookshelf. “Do you want to see her? She started elementary school a few weeks ago” without waiting for an answer a screen appears displaying a tall man with black hair and horns standing regally behind you and a child with emerald eyes and horns.
“She looks rather shy”
You hum nodding “she is as shy as her father when he was her age. There aren't many children her age she can play with so she was pretty lonely her first 50 years”
“50 years?”
“her dad is a slow maturing species” so it should be 10 times the life expectancy than humans. Not that long for him but certainly longer than usual.
•°•°•
“It's a wonder to see how you manage to get Klee to change her mind about going fish blasting,” albedo scribbles some data half mindedly as he watches you hover next to Klee, who showed you a new drawings every few minutes “she is so stubborn even with Alice”
“Well I do have experience with headstrong children, Pardine is as focused on her goal as her father” one of your hands fall on her blonde hair, bright but still darker than Pardine’s almost champagne blonde and her red eyes polar opposite to her icy ones, a carbon copy to her dad. Even if your genetics rarely showed up on any of your kids it was uncanny how similar she looked to her dad and aunts “but I will admit she does annoy many guards asking to train her”
Albedo just laughs it off, listing the few loose characteristics of one of her spouses. Venti has been annoying him about his nation almost getting no information so he hopes a few spare tidbits and Klee’s rough drawing of a blond blue eyed man with a big shield works for whatever weird thing the archons have going on.
•°•°•
“Your Grace has married before?!” Ayaka gasps as you take a stroll around the nature surrounding her home. Her hand had swiftly unfolded her fan in front of her face.
“Mhm, I don't know why people get so surprised, after all it would be weirder if I spent so much time somewhere but took no lovers” you laugh at her slightly seeing her slightly flustered “it's almost a tradition at this point, to wed someone from each world. Want to see some family portraits?” She nods fervently looking at the tablet like thing that appeared on your hands, first a white haired cowboy like man is kneeling on the ground holding a baby by the armpits surrounded by three wolves ,seemingly playing with an older child, by the time the next imagine passes Ayaka is almost hanging by your shoulder, asking things about the siblings and begging to see more photos of your babies.
“And who did you take from teyvat?” Ayaka looks up sweetly at you, she has always held you in high regard and now that you are in Inazuma she can't help but get giddy thinking about how you decided to spend the stay in her state and most of your time with her.
Feigning surprise you tap your chin with your index finger “now that I think about it I didn't choose anyone yet... maybe it's about time”
“Then that means you could pick my brother!” She wraps her hand around your own, smiling as if she got the best idea ever “I could even call you older sibling!... If you wanted so of course”
“Big brother you remember how you told me you would find me a proper bachelor”
“If this is about wanting me to rush it won't work”
“It's not about it, I found you someone”
“Fine, as you please, need I remind you my standards are quite high”
“It's their grace!... Why are you choking on your tea!?”
•°•°•
“There isn't one damned coincidence…” Raiden slaps her head against the table with the rough drawings and some information about them “a king, a captain, a cowboy, a damned sorcerer…”
“Maybe there isn't supposed to be a coincidence” Nahida guesses “maybe they just look for someone who catches their eye”
“It doesn't help out as much as you think it does” the tsaritsa crosses her legs and leans against the back of the chair “if we are doing people with very clear characteristics maybe Ajax could fit nicely? Redheads aren't very common”
“Mhm, maybe but don't they have a liking for smart men? Then Alhaitham would be closer to their past couples”
“Well if we are going by that logic they should like the geo archon, as one of them has dragonic features” the tsaritsa side eyes Zhongli from the other side of the table.
Sighing deeply Furina, who came in place of Neuvillette, chimes in “It is their decision who they want to marry and even if they wanted to!”
"obviously you would be so calm, after all they are very close with your iudex. Don't get so cocky, I heard the commissioner Ayato is interested in the idea"

What are the differences between LED full-color display P4 and P5 models?
When purchasing LED full-color displays, P4 and P5 are two common models, and many people will be confused between them. What is the difference between P4 and P5? Which one is more suitable for your needs? Today we will talk about this topic, from pixel spacing, display effects, application scenarios to price and other angles, to help you figure out the differences between the two and make easy choices.

What are P4 and P5? What does "P" mean?
Let’s start with the basics. “P” in the LED display model refers to the pixel pitch (Point Pitch), which is in millimeters. Simply put, it represents the distance between two adjacent pixel points. For example, the pixel spacing of P4 is 4mm and P5 is 5mm. The smaller the pixel spacing, the higher the pixel density of the screen, and the naturally more delicate the picture. What is a fine pitch LED display?
The difference between P4 and P5 is in this spacing: P4's pixels are denser than P5. This directly affects the display effect, viewing distance and cost. Next we will disassemble them one by one.
Display effect: P4 is clearer, P5 is slightly inferior
Since P4 has smaller pixel pitch (4mm) than P5 (5mm), P4 has more pixel points within a unit area. Take one square meter as an example:
P4: The pixel density is 62500 points/㎡ (1000÷4×1000÷4).
P5: The pixel density is 40,000 dots/㎡ (1000÷5×1000÷5).
This means that the P4's picture is more delicate and has a higher resolution. Especially when viewed closely, the P4's image details are richer, making it difficult to see the graininess of pixels. Because the pixel spacing of P5 is slightly larger, it may have a slight "mosaic" feeling when viewed from a close distance, but the difference is not much.
For example: If you look at the P4 and P5 screens within 3 meters, the text and pictures of P4 will appear sharper, suitable for displaying high-definition videos or fine images. The P5 is clear enough to look at it from 5 meters away, which is suitable for scenes where extreme details are not required.

Viewing distance: P4 is strong in close view, P5 is strong in distance view
The pixel spacing also determines the optimal viewing distance. Generally speaking, the optimal viewing distance is 1000 times the pixel pitch (in millimeters). so:
P4: The best viewing distance is about 4 meters, suitable for close viewing.
P5: The best viewing distance is about 5 meters, suitable for viewing slightly longer distances.
This is very important in practical applications. For example, P4 is more suitable for scenes that require close viewing such as conference rooms, exhibition halls, shopping mall windows, etc.; while P5 is more suitable for occasions that require long-distance viewing such as outdoor billboards, stadiums, and stage backgrounds. Provide you with 7 guides to save the cost of stage rental LED screens.
Tips: If your audience is very close to the screen (such as 2-3 meters), it will be better to choose P4; if the audience is 10 meters away, the P5 is completely enough and has a higher cost-effectiveness.

Application scenarios: Each has its own expertise
The difference in pixel spacing between P4 and P5 determines that their application scenarios have their own emphasis:
P4: Commonly used in indoor or semi-outdoor environments, such as corporate exhibition halls, monitoring rooms, conference centers, hotel banquet halls, etc. It has high clarity and is suitable for playing high-definition videos, PPT demonstrations or advertising content that needs to be displayed in detail. Outdoor P4 is also commonly found in advertising screens in high-end commercial areas, and the effect is better when viewing is closer. Let you understand the 7 points of difference between indoor LED display and outdoor LED display.
P5: It is mostly used in outdoor or large indoor scenes, such as squares, train stations, airports, sports venues, concert stages, etc. The audience in these places is far away from the screen, and the display effect of the P5 is enough to meet the needs, and the cost is lower.
Simply put, P4 tends to be "exquisite" applications, while P5 is more suitable for "big scene" needs.

Price: P4 is more expensive, P5 is more affordable
Price is something that many people care about. Because P4 has higher pixel density, more complex manufacturing process, and more lamp beads required, the price of P4 is usually 20%-30% higher than P5. The specific price difference depends on the brand, module quality and supporting equipment, but overall, the P5 has a higher cost-effectiveness, especially in projects with limited budgets or large screen area.
For example, if you choose P5 for a 100 square meter outdoor advertising screen, the cost of choosing P5 may be hundreds of thousands of yuan compared to P4, and the effect of long-distance viewing is not much different. If you have a good budget and pursue ultimate clarity, P4 is of course a better choice.
How to choose? Depend on demand and budget
Having said so much, should you choose P4 or P5? In fact, there is no absolute "better", the key depends on your needs:
Choose P4: If your screen needs to be viewed close (within 4 meters), or pursue high-definition display effects, such as indoor conference rooms, exhibition displays, and high-end commercial advertisements, P4 is the first choice. There are price ranges for commercial LED displays here.
Choose P5: If the audience distance is far (more than 5 meters), or the budget is limited and the screen area is large, such as outdoor billboards and stage backgrounds, P5 is more cost-effective.
Additional suggestions: Don’t just look at the model when purchasing, but also pay attention to the brand, lamp bead quality (such as Guoxing, Jingtai), driver IC and after-sales service. These factors have a great impact on screen life and stability.
Summarize
The difference between P4 and P5 is mainly in the pixel spacing (4mm vs 5mm), which directly affects the display clarity, viewing distance, application scenarios and price. P4 is more suitable for scenarios with close-range and high-definition needs, and the price is slightly higher; P5 has more advantages in long-distance viewing and budget control. I hope this article can help you avoid detours when purchasing LED full-color displays and find the most suitable model!

We all know I'm a doll and pony person and that my primary focus is fixing up their hair after they've been played with a lot.
One thing I consistently struggle with is recurling 90's Barbie's bangs. Their hair fiber is usually Kanekalon, which melts with much heat. Also the short length makes it difficult for my clumsy hands to manage while trying to put a straw curler in. I assume they used pre-curled hair for the bangs when doing the factory rooting.
I don't need suggestions for curlers, I've been doing this longer than a lot of doll enthusiasts have been alive. I'm just clumsy.
For a long time I'd wished I had the technical knowledge to make myself a small curling iron specifically for this purpose and not too long ago, this terrifying contraption was pointed out to me.

Yeah, that's..... That's an electric, heated eyelash curler.
Affiliate Link:
That's scary, ngl. I mean, I know people have been heating their manual, metal curlers with a lighter for decades (....), but this is still scary.
It's great for recurling Kanekalon doll bangs.

It did take two attempts with one focusing on the length and one focusing on the roots and each attempt I held the iron in place for about 90 seconds. That seems like a long time but the plate doesn't get that hot and didn't melt the hair at all.
Stacey's bangs are mostly normal shape and position again, and that's exciting! They are a little imperfectly round but better.
This is a lot easier for me to manage than straw curlers and I didn't get a weird crimp where the cap straw or bobby pin sits.
There are some negatives of course.
The little bar that holds the hair is very weak and I have to manually hold it closed which is fine because this device doesn't get hot, just warm.
You can't really use this to do curls, expecting to slide the curl off the end of the curler because the curler has teeth/an embedded eyelash comb.

But if you're careful with it:

I think for this, straws would still be better.
It has 3 heat settings: 120, 150, and 190. Kanekalon can handle just-boiled water at 200F, so I used 190.

For the Benefit of All: Assistive Tech Developed from NASA Tech
What do modern cochlear implants and robotic gloves have in common? They were derived from NASA technology. We’ve made it easier to find and use our patented inventions that could help create products that enhance life for people with disabilities.
October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, which highlights the contributions of American workers with disabilities – many of whom use assistive technology on the job. Take a look at these assistive technologies that are NASA spinoffs.

Low-Vision Headsets
The Joint Optical Reflective Display (JORDY) device is a headset that uses NASA image processing and head-mounted display technology to enable people with low vision to read and write. JORDY enhances individuals’ remaining sight by magnifying objects up to 50 times and allowing them to change contrast, brightness, and display modes. JORDY's name was inspired by Geordi La Forge, a blind character from “Star Trek: The Next Generation” whose futuristic visor enabled him to see.

Cochlear Implants
Work that led to the modern cochlear implant was patented by a NASA engineer in the 1970s. Following three failed corrective surgeries, Adam Kissiah combined his NASA electronics know-how with research in the Kennedy Space Center technical library to build his own solution for people with severe-to-profound hearing loss who receive little or no benefit from hearing aids. Several companies now make the devices, which have been implanted in hundreds of thousands of people around the world.

Robotic Gloves
Ironhand, from Swedish company Bioservo Technologies, is the world’s first industrial-strength robotic glove for factory workers and others who perform repetitive manual tasks. It helps prevent stress injuries but has been especially warmly received by workers with preexisting hand injuries and conditions. The glove is based on a suite of patents for the technology developed by NASA and General Motors to build the hands of the Robonaut 2 humanoid robotic astronaut.
Smart Glasses
Neurofeedback technology NASA originally developed to improve pilots’ attention has been the basis for products aimed at helping people manage attention disorders without medication. The devices measure brainwave output to gauge attention levels according to the “engagement index” a NASA engineer created. Then, they show the results to users, helping them learn to voluntarily control their degree of concentration. One such device is a pair of smart glasses from Narbis, whose lenses darken as attention wanes.

Anti-Gravity Treadmills
A NASA scientist who developed ways to use air pressure to simulate gravity for astronauts exercising in space had the idea to apply the concept for the opposite effect on Earth. After licensing his technology, Alter-G Inc. developed its anti-gravity G-Trainer treadmill, which lets users offload some or all of their weight while exercising. The treadmills can help people recover from athletic or brain injuries, and they allow a safe exercise regimen for others with long-term conditions such as arthritis.

Wireless Muscle Sensors
Some of the most exciting assistive technologies to spin off may be yet to come. Delsys Inc. developed electromyographic technology to help NASA understand the effects of long-term weightlessness on astronauts’ muscles and movements. Electromyography detects and analyzes electrical signals emitted when motor nerves trigger movement. Among the company’s customers are physical therapists developing exercise routines to help patients recover from injuries. But some researchers are using the technology to attempt recoveries that once seemed impossible, such as helping paralyzed patients regain movement, letting laryngectomy patients speak, and outfitting amputees with artificial limbs that work like the real thing.
To further enhance the lives of people with disabilities, NASA has identified a selection of patented technologies created for space missions that could spur the next generation of assistive technology here on Earth.
