Warnings/Tags: General game spoilers ofc, Sophia exhibiting the symptoms of an ED but there is a genuine canon Lore Reason I do not want to spoil sorry, P is a silly lil guy (affectionate), Gemini is a silly little guy (derogatory)

A/N: I miss taking culinary classes, so I coped by making this!! This was also an excuse to test out my new silly borders hehe

The first time you bring P into the kitchen, he accidentally makes a huge mess and feels so bad he starts avoiding the kitchen. If he needed you while you were in there, he’ll wait by the door until you come out even if it takes hours

It takes a lot of encouragement and patience to finally get him back in the kitchen, and even then he’s so careful of everything around him. It doesn’t always go well, and most of the time there’s still some accident that leaves a giant mess to clean up

It’s like watching a dragon in a china shop— every so often he catches on something and oh! Down comes all the pots and pans.

Gemini finds it hilarious but while he loves messing with P, he is also the one to tell him not to push it if he’s so stressed out and to take it little by little

P so sweet, he’s so caring and careful and yeah ok he can be mischievous but not in the sense that he’d purposefully make trouble for the people he cares for

In fact he tries to help you out by bringing around food for all the residents in the Hotel so you don’t have to do everything

Polendina takes Antonia’s meals to her and Pulcinella forces Venigni to actually eat when he forgets to

It’s very funny to watch, because as stubborn and eccentric as Venigni can be he cannot say no to his no. 1 bestie

Eugenié is silly and has to be reminded to eat (she gets too absorbed into her work), and Sophia usually refuses food. It’s worrying, but she says it’s alright and vaguely explains that she doesn’t need food 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨

As the days go by and as he becomes more human and is able to control his strength better, he finally musters up the courage to ask you to teach him how to cook (which Gemini insists on being present for)

The first few times he is so shaky and afraid of everything in case it breaks, but after a few days he’ll start getting comfortable with the utensils and tools

Once he’s comfortable enough, he starts acting out small mischiefs and well

It’s hard to scold him when he’s finally overcome his fear of making a mess

“And then you carefully— No—“ The egg splats against the counter in seconds, spraying up to his freckled face. He pulls his hand up slowly, and with the most amused deadpan you’ve seen on him, turns his yolk-soaked palm to you. You don’t even fight the frown that settles on your face as Gemini coughs to hide a laugh.

“Nice one! I think—“ cough “— you’re getting better,” He says. You glare at him where P’s put him on the counter, and he laughs harder. You would strangle him, but that would probably just encourage the prick.

P looks innocently at you; his expression unchanging but a tilt in his shoulder gives away the fact that he knows what he’s doing. You’re sure that if he could laugh, he would be giggling in all his freckled cuteness. It softens your frown into fond exasperation as you reach a hand to wipe the egg off his face. He takes his clean legion hand and gently places it atop yours, pushing his cheek flush against your palm.

“Gemini is such a bad influence on you,” You say with a no heat in your voice. P looks up at you though his lashes, and you can almost see the mischief printed on his face.

“How am I a bad influence?” Gemini says indignantly, having the gall to sound offended.

You dip your hand into the bag of flour nearby, scoop out a handful, and throw it at him. He sputters and yelps, starting to complain. You’re too distracted by Gemini to notice the curious way P’s looking over at you and the bag of flour. He quietly slips his legion hand behind you when you move forward as your argument with Gemini progresses.

“That was actually so rude,“ Gemini says.

“Oh like you aren’t the one enabling him all the time.“

“When have I ever?”

“I don’t know— the art shop, for one?”

“That was such a long time ago!”

“Two days—!”

Flour hits your cheek, dusting your face in white. Gemini gets a second to laugh at you, before flour also hits him and his lamp topples over right into spilled egg. A bit away from you both, P is standing with his hands behind his back and the bag of flour peeking out from behind him. His face is twitching like it’s trying to smile, and you feel your heart melt at the sight. By the end of the day, you’re just glad the kitchen’s still standing.

“Y’know what? I’m actually real excited for this! Moony has been wanting to write a thing with us for a while now! Good on her for pushing through the writers block, that shit sucks ass.”

“…What the hell are you talking about?! We’re looking for the kid, remember!?”

And that they were. They’d been scouring the apartment for like… six minutes now trying to find you. But somehow, you’d been able to consistently switch hiding spots without them noticing.

How? They had no clue. The pair wouldn’t have been surprised discovering you were also some kind of mutant but with advanced sneakiness, if that was even a thing.

Wade was actually having a bit of fun with this, whereas Logan… he was getting pretty pissed. More so than usual.

“Kid, I swear to god, if you don’t show yourself in ten goddamn seconds, I WILL start tearing this fucking place down!”

Logan crouched, his claws instantly coming out, making Wade panic.

“Woaaah, woah, woah, woah! Easy, Peanut, we’re trying to find ‘em! Not kill them, which may sound a little rich coming from me-“

“I’m pretty sure I’m allowed to be angry. The kid decided to pull that shit on us and then split. And now we can’t find ‘em.” The older man growled, his claws retracting back into his hands.

“And this is the moment we start working together!” Wade announced, an arm slung around Logan’s shoulder that most likely would’ve been sliced if he hadn’t allowed the latter to shrug it off in annoyance.

However, Logan swiftly turned at the sound of a noise nearby, his eyebrow raising as he went to check it out, leaving Wade to keep rambling about nonsense he didn’t understand.

“God, where’s Peter Parker when you need him?? Actually, I don’t think I’d mind a lil bit of Miguel O’hara…” Wade let out a long whistle.

“…Ah wait, he doesn’t have that Spidey-Tingle , fUCK-!”

The merc suddenly yelped as he was grabbed by his collar, being yanked towards where Logan was moving.

Meanwhile, you were curled up, both hands over your mouth as you tried to shut yourself up, anxious titters threatening to give yourself away.

You mentally berated that stupid floorboard that just had to creak at the slightest bit of goddamn pressure.

“Ohhh, Y/NNNNN! Come on out now, we’re not gonna hurt ya!”

The sound of the merc’s goofy teasing made you snicker even more, but when you heard how close Logan’s voice was to the closet, you froze.

“Why the hell do you have to talk like that?”

“Whaaat? It turns up the fun knob a little bit! And I know they can hear meeeee!” Wade crooned in that same sing-song tone, followed by an unamused huff from Logan.

“We’re gonna getcha, we’re gonna getchaaaa!”

God, could they just get out the room?? You had to throw them off again and fast. During your panicked inner monologue, you were soon met with… silence.

You relaxed, knowing you must’ve had an opportunity.

…At least you did until you realised something. When the hell is it ever quiet when those two are together?

Then, you heard a hushed voice coming from outside the closet door.

“Ladies and gents, this is the moment you’ve waited for…”

…Oh, fuck.

Without warning, the closet doors were swung open by Wade, and the merc jokingly vocalised (very off-key too) while throwing his arms up with a flourish.

“WOOOAAAAAH!”

As you yelped in fear and dashed out the closet, Wade laughed and made a glance towards… well, air.

“If ya know, ya know!”

You quickly slipped past Wade, also laughing as you ran out the door to the room you’d been hiding in.

“Yohou’ll never take me al- ACK-!”

You yelped again as two strong arms wrapped around your torso, hoisting you up and off the floor.

…Shit.

“And just where do you think you’re goin, bub?”

“Wait, wahahait! Logan, hohold on-“

“No no no no no, I’m not waiting for anything.” Logan interrupted, carrying you back into the bedroom. “Not after you pulled that shit.”

“Oh, whahat? A little bit of water?”

“I wouldn’t say the rubber band on the sink trick counts as a little bit of water, Y/N.” Wade snickered, crossing his arms and smiling proudly at the fact you’d been caught.

“Come ohon, it wasn’t that bahAD-!” You yelped again as you were tossed onto the bed, still giggling. “Whahat’s the matter? Couldn’t shake the water off, kitty cat?”

The older hero scowled threateningly at you, ignoring Wade who sniggered at the joking insult.

“What?”

“You heheard me!”

Just as Logan was about to full on lunge towards you, Wade grabbed him.

“Hey, hey! Easy now, boy.” The merc spoke like he was talking to a feral dog, making Logan glare at him and growl.

“God, what now?”

“We gotta approach slowly! It builds up anticipation…” As Wade spoke, he began slowly approaching, carefully clambering onto the bed. “And proves to this little prankster how royally fucked they are!”

And it was working. Your giggles soon turned nervous, and you curled up, attempting to shy away from Wade (but not actually putting a lot of effort into getting away, much to Logan’s surprise and Wade’s amusement).

“And theeeen I’m juuust gonnaaaaaa…”

Suddenly, the merc’s arms swiftly looped under your own, lifting and leaving your, well, everything pretty much exposed and unable to be protected.

“Go on, boy! Gettem! Gettem, boy!”

Logan’s fury was way too fuelled by Wade’s stupid comments to even allow you to get a word in edgeways, instantly lunging forwards before digging and vibrating his claw-shaped hands right into your ribs.

“OhoH SHIHIHIT-! L-Logan, gehet OHOHOFF-!” A squeal left your mouth as you burst into frantic giggles and tried to kick, only for the older man to firmly shove right back at your legs, rendering you unable to fight back.

“God, will you just- quit the kicking?” Logan growled, a surprising air of playfulness behind it as he shot his hands right down to your thighs, firmly kneading there.

Despite already squealing your ass off, you couldn’t help but make a quip.

“Mahahaking biscuits reheally isn’t gonna hehehelp you beat the kitty allegahations, buhud-!”

Another low grumble filled the room, before Logan turned his head to Wade.

“Shut the kid up.”

“Roger that!”

Wade did a dumb salute before unhooking his arms from under yours to wiggle his fingers right into your armpits.

“Getchagetchagetcha!”

“AAAAHHHHHAHA DAMMIHIHIT-!��� You practically shrieked, your giggles instantly shifting into full blown laughter as you pinned your elbows to your ribs, trying to squirm away but failing thanks to that iron grip Logan had on your legs.

“Ooh! I think I got a killer spot here, Logan!”

“Hmph, that’s nothin. Watch this.”

Logan earned another screech by mercilessly drilling his thumbs into your hips, making you buck instinctively and cackle uncontrollably.

“Nuh-uh! Armpits are the killer!” Wade protested, the merc speeding up his tickles on your underarms.

“Fat chance! They’re like a banshee when you get ‘em here!”

You wanted to protest, but all you could focus on were those hands attacking your weak spots.

Eventually, you felt them thankfully let up.

…For now, anyway.

“Now, Y/N. There is a way we can squash this beef, y’know.”

Logan sighed at Wade’s words, never understanding this ridiculous slang he dropped into conversation like it was nothing.

“Maybe a simple phrase such as… ‘I’m sorry?’”

“I can do one better.” Logan interrupted. “How about ‘I’m sorry I was a jabbering little sass factory who had the audacity to pull a dumb fuckin prank on people who didn’t do jack?’”

While catching your breath, you sealed what was basically your death wish.

“Oh, yeheah, Captain Caveman? Wheheres your helicopter cluhub, you gonna hit mehe with it?”

Logan fell silent again… while Wade couldn’t help but let out a wheeze at the quip.

“Ohoh, my god! Baby’s first character comparison joke, I’ve taught you so well..!” Wade sniffed dramatically, wiping a fake tear of proudness from the corner of his eye.

However, he froze once he heard you mutter something else.

“Thahat’s right, Mr Clehean-“

A strong gasp of offence left the merc as he placed a hand on his chest, while Logan gave him a smug look at not being the only one who was insulted.

“I beg your finest fucking pardon?! You think that’s any way to talk to Marvel Jesus and his very hairy disciple here!?”

Logan gave Wade another unamused glare.

“Y’know what?”

Wade then swiftly grabbed you again.

“Give ‘em the whiskers, Peanut!”

“They’re not whiskers, they’re muttonchops, you dumb fuck.”

“Same thing! Or shall I pull the move and do a much better job as always?”

The older man snarled, lowering his head down.

“I’ll show you who does it better, asshole…”

“Okay, wait, wahait-! W-What mohove is thiHIHIS-?!”

You cut yourself off with yet another shriek as Logan suddenly blew a giant raspberry right against your stomach, the added sensations that his facial hair provided making you near silent laughter.

It was clear that Logan was basically taking out all his pent up annoyance at Wade on you, and good god it tickled super bad.

And Wade? He was being no help either, as usual.

“Awww, wook at the giggwy wittle baby! Are the Badger Berries making their tummy all tickly? And are they having the time of their life? Yes, they are! Yes, they aaare!”

…Asshole. (Even if he was right.)

You did pride yourself on lasting about five raspberries (Wade could only ever really handle two), but you eventually had to tap your hand against one of Wade’s arms that were still hooked under yours.

“Okahay, Logan. Give em a rest.”

Despite his annoyed hesitance, Logan leant back up, allowing you to get your breath back in shaky pants.

“Geheez… you twoho are juhuhust..!”

“We’re waiting, kid.”

The older man interrupted, giving you a playful but threatening look.

“Fihine… I-I’m sohorry..!” You sighed, your face red as anything as you blinked away little tears that had pricked in the corners of your eyes.

“There we go! That wasn’t so hard now, was it?” Wade teased, resting his chin on your shoulder, in which you just rolled your eyes.

“Anyway, we better get ready for round two, huh?”

…Uh oh.

“WHAT?! B-Buhut I apologised!”

Wade did a pretend ‘apologetic asshole’ wince.

“Yeah… but this attack was more only to get you to apologise. This one is to actually teach you a lesson!”

“But thahat’s bullshit-!”

“Well, it’s a good thing we don’t give a fuck.”

Logan shared a look of pure mischief with Wade.

“Let’s gettem.”

And just like that, you were screaming and laughing the apartment down once more, as Logan nuzzled his furry face right into your belly again, pretending to eat it and growling playfully while Wade wrapped his arms around you and blew a raspberry right into the crook of your neck.

Yeah… you were gonna be here for a while.

EVENT OF THE MONTH:

🎶 Montréal’s Chœur Queer brings their “co-constructed show that queers a choir” (Re)faire chœur queer to the St-Ambroise Montréal Fringe Festival at Studio Jean-Valcourt du Conservatoire, with performances from June 10-18, 2023. Developed during workshop sessions with facilitator Jade Préfontaine, (Re)faire chœur queer utilizes vocal and spacial explorations to queer the room with sound. In their own words, “Our approach to the choir is transdisciplinary, as it is neither clearly musical, nor completely narrative, nor perfectly choreographic, but all at once.” Find tickets here.

A/N: I was feeling so very sad and stressed abt life, so I wrote this. I love the exploration of grief via beloved characters

And as he watches you dance in the rain, all fabric and laughter and the sound of harsh pitter patter, he holds his love for you deeply in his heart. If feeling out of breath was how it felt to be around you, he hoped whatever lungs he had would never fill with air. The cavity of his chest, where his ticking heart rests, warms as the gears grind and turn faster and faster and faster. He watches you, drenched in the rain, and wishes he could bottle up your laugh and take it everywhere he went.

The rain is cold on his skin, chilling his legion arm. Through the curtain shower, he watches you withstand the cold to dance, like freedom is assured and the world is not ending. From an outsider’s perspective, he’s sure the scene looks strange; your beauty blooming in the rain as he stood by and watched. He does not hold out his hand to catch you, he feels too metal and undeserving of that, but he yearns to. A lie then, when you hold out your hand and ask him if he wants to join, for him to refuse to dance with you.

When daybreak comes, nights later and the whole of Krat explored, he holds your hand in his shaky own. You are not dancing anymore, and there is no more rain falling — your laughter does not fill the pungent air. He is finally human, finally feels deserving of your rain, but the sun pelts him like a spotlight. He wishes he had a bottle of your laughter, but more than that he wishes he had you. He wishes you laughed and cheered for longer, that it rained and poured for longer. But the rain does not last, and your laughter only now exists in the bygone era of what once was.

The next time it rains, he thinks he sees you dance in the corner of his eye— fabric and colour and the soundless tug of your smile. He does not turn to see if it is real, and lives forever more in the delusion that you are there every rainfall. Your laugh is the first thing he mourns forgetting.

Everything is cold. Your teeth are chattering as you try to find your way through the darkness, but you can't. You're lost.

It stretches on for what seems like eternity—you're moving your arms around in front of you, trying to find something, anything to hold on to, all to no avail. You can feel your heartbeat start to increase as the panic sets in. You're alone. You're alone, it's cold, it's dark, and you're alone.

You're alone. You're always going to be alone.

“Y/N?” you hear a voice say, gently shaking you awake. “Are you alright?”

You turn over to see your boyfriend's worried expression—a frown on his lips, his eyebrows knitted together in worry, and all you can suddenly feel is guilt. You'd both gone to bed so late tonight to begin with—and now you've woken him up again with one of your ridiculous nightmares?

This is stupid. You should be alone, a voice calls out from the depths of your mind. Just like in that dream.

You do your best to stop the frustrated tears from leaving your eyes, but one trails down the side of your face in spite of your best efforts to keep it from falling.

"Oh—baby," Felix says, cupping your cheeks in both of his hands as he strokes the tears away. "What's wrong?"

You shake your head. "Just a nightmare. I...I'll be okay, Felix, please go back to sleep. I know you have to get up early tomorrow."

He shakes his head too. "No way. I'm staying right here until you feel better."

Another frustrated tear makes its way down your cheek at the concerned look in his eyes. "I'm sorry," you say quietly. You know he won’t want you to apologize, but you don't know what else to say.

Felix's frown deepens before he moves one hand to the small of your back, squeezing you tighter to him. "Don't even think about apologizing," he says firmly. "I would never want to sleep knowing you were right here feeling this way. I want to do what I can, if there's anything, to be here for you when you're feeling this way. I'm right here," he says, sliding a hand under your shirt to gently smooth over the skin there. "You're just fine. I promise. Now—breathe with me, Y/N. Can you do that?"

You makes yourself nod.

"Okay. In—" he inhales for several beats, and you do the same. "And out." You exhale together. "A few more times, okay? I'm right here. In..."

You take several more deep breaths with him until you see the worry start to fade from his eyes. "Alright, baby. You feel a little better?"

You nod a little.

"Do you want to talk about it? You don't have to if you don't want to."

You shake your head from side to side, wordlessly again. You almost feel silly, now, but you try to banish the thought of that feeling when it appears, choosing instead to cling to his middle, burying your head in his chest as he strokes up and down your spine, lithe fingers gently bringing your heart rate back down and your breathing back under control.

If you fall asleep, though, you know you'll be right back into that nightmare—and that thought is unthinkable. You're just about to tell Felix, but from the instant he feels you stiffen against him, he's two steps ahead of you. Like always. "You want to go back to sleep, baby?"

You shake your head against him.

"Okay," he whispers, leaning down to press a kiss to the crown of your head. "Come on. We'll go make something for you to eat."

Now you're the one worried. "Felix," you start, a nervous laugh leaving your lips. "What? It's—shit, it's almost 5 a.m," you say after checking your phone on the nightstand. "We can't—"

He puts a finger to your lips, silencing you as you look up to see that impossibly sweet, soft grin on his face, the corners of his eyes crinkling. "Come on," he repeats.

You've never been able to say no to him when he looks at you like that.

So you take his hand, padding through the hallway and into the kitchen where he sits you down on the counter while he mixes pancake batter in a bowl, occasionally leaning across to place a soft kiss on your forehead. When the pancakes are done, you sit at the table together, eating quietly but contently, your chest warm from both the food and the ridiculous kindness you feel from the man beside you. You may not always feel like you deserve him—but he's here right now. He’s not going anywhere. And that’s something you’re so, so grateful for, even if you can’t always find the words to thank him the way you want to.

You think he may know anyway.

When you're finished eating, he intertwines your fingers again as you stand, leading you through your apartment again until you're back in your shared bedroom. Felix lies down beside you, coaxing you into moving back down the bed a little more for comfort, until your heads are both against his pillow, and he's holding you just as tightly as before. You know you'd been right about his long day—he falls back into sleep before you do, his arms wrapped around you with your nose to his collarbone, that familiar fond smile on his face, but you don't mind at all in the slightest.

You think you shouldn't be as tired as you suddenly are, after that meal, but it isn't long before you feel comfortably drowsy wrapped in such warmth around you. It doesn't come with that feeling of panic again, though—your mind knows you're safe, now, in the tangle of arms and legs around you keeping you close and content. And you smile too.

Gardener/Botanist Reader Headcanons

P x (gn) reader

A/N: Completely self indulgent. I love plants, flowers, mushrooms— any sort of flora mystical or otherwise. I think, considering how much was delegated to the puppets the need for gardeners would be less and less. That aside, people are stubborn when it comes to art and caring for such plants is, in my opinion, nothing short of art.

Warnings: Game spoilers just all around, P and Gemini are a little stupid in this one (I am very fond of them), Lots of bouncing around concepts, tell me if I need to add more

The art of gardening was dying amongst the people of Krat, despite its rich ecosystem and peculiar plants, as it had been delegated instead to the Puppets of the city

When the puppet frenzy set in, almost all of the knowledge gained from Krat’s flora died with its people and with its puppets

Except you had survived, taken in by Antonia in the hotel, and offered her your services as thanks for the safety and security the Hotel provided

You were close with Antonia, saw her almost as a peculiar aunt. In turn she was fond of you and loved to share any of Krat’s secrets during the few times she could muster the strength to visit the gardens or you took a break and stepped inside.

When P first came by and stopped at the inner gardens, you gave him a once over before bluntly telling him not to mess about the bushes. You weren’t otherwise perturbed by his presence.

One of the few things Antonia seemed to hesitate speaking about was Gepetto, and so you had your reservations about a puppet made by him. He seemed… nice, though. Polite. Definitely very sweet.

He had come to check out the puppet dummies Eugenié was talking about, and was intrigued by you.

You kept him coming back to the garden, but most times he’d make an excuse about wanting to try out a new weapon of sorts. Not that he needed to make one— as long as he didn’t out right hurt the plants you didn’t mind.

Honestly avoids touching the plants incase some complication arises and they die or something. Doesn’t want to disappoint you, the silly guy.

Every subsequent visit comes with his awkward (albeit endearing) attempt to get to know you, and what starts off as a tentative friendship blooms into mutual pining.

P is a quiet visitor when he’s in the gardens, content to ask a question and hear you ramble on for however long you want to.

That doesn’t mean he won’t indulge your questions.

He’ll spend just as long recounting his adventures in Krat if you ask for it, sheepish and sweet as he censors the more… unsavoury moments of his journey.

In game, your character gives a bit of exposition to the flora of Krat. You tell him the certain conditions some plants thrive in, talk about the weather conditions in relation to that, etc. but you also talk about the meanings of each one. It’s from you he learns to communicate through flora.

More than that though, when you mention something specific of certain flora, it becomes a little sidequest for him. He’ll take back a little piece of it to show you and you start trading him items every time he does.

Not wanting it to be a one-sided thing, you give him pressed flower charms, amulets, floral accessories, and even some shiny things you’d picked up like quartz.

The greatest reward is maybe like a little gardener costume. To match with you, you know.

And listen, whatever you give P, he treasures. If you gave him a spare gardening uniform he’d wear that the whole way throughout Krat he’m so silly.

There’s a lot of clumsy and endearing gestures from his end.

One time he accidentally misunderstands you and makes a bouquet asking for your hand in marriage and you about have a heart attack.

You explain both the message and meaning of the bouquet to him, and while he isn’t fussed or embarrassed at his mistake he makes note of it

As he progressively becomes more human, his expressions more lively and his voice more open, your relationship develops further.

His own interest in flora flourishes. He starts trying to record the plants he comes across somehow— either by learning how to draw or asking Venigni to make some sort of camera.

He often thinks of you when he finds a peculiar plant, wondering if it would be ok to take it to you. If he had the means to just take record of it instead he’d show that to you

Doesn’t mean he doesn’t get you flowers still though. He’ll pick out flowers while weighing in his mind if it’d disrupt the ecosystem too much, and once he has them he does his best to arrange them in a pretty manner.

Gemini actually helps him here, giving him ideas for things like the wrapping, telling him to do things like use newspapers or something of the like to bundle them up

At some point the two idiots genuinely consider breaking into an arts and crafts shop because Gemini thinks it might be a good idea, and P just doesn’t know enough to argue that it isn’t

“I mean, the shop is closed down right? Nobody would mind if we just stole a ribbon… or two! Nobody’s using them anyways!” — Gemini

When he regains Carlo’s memories, he feels a little embarrassed about that and refuses to ever mention it again. Gemini makes fun of both of them somehow without being ashamed

When even Gemini fails at figuring out how to decorate flowers, P goes to the other Hotel inhabitants

Sophia’s got such a lovely eye for them, and knows how to arrange a bouquet beautifully and loves to help, and Antonia finds the whole thing adorable and loves to tease P lightly but offers genuinely good advice

Polendina is the perfect butler of course, so he knows his bouquets and is happy to help with them, and while he’s seen metal more than he’s seen flowers at the factory, Pulcinella is just as good

God forbid he asks Eugenié or Venigni though. They might be great at what they do but they’ll put together the most foul colour arrangements known to man.

Eugenié finds out about one (1) poisonous plant and decides it’s a great idea to make a whole bouquet of them. Venigni just picks out the flowers he likes the most, or the ones that match with his outfit, without… really knowing how to match it to his outfit.

I don’t even want to bring up Geppetto. Man would probably sit P down and spend hours agonizing over the arrangement of the petals and pollen like the little control freak he is.

But it gives P a nice break from Krat’s troubles, and your joy at the bouquet makes it worth it every single time

By the end of it, the flowers spill into the hotel, spotting the place with life and colour that makes it feel like maybe the world isn’t as dead and gone as it might be

Putting a Stop to the Unseen

A/N: Thanks for the request!! I certainly don’t write enough for Loki and it should be a CRIME 😞 Was able to quickly finish this before a Statistics exam I have tomorrow! So I may be a bit behind on other requests for the time being but,,,, here’s some food for now I guess 😭 Hope you guys like it!! <3

“GAH-! Will you- stop doing that?!”

Loki sighed as a cheeky cackle came from… somewhere in the room before it faded out.

That was the fifth time today. And probably around the thirtieth-something time this week. Curse you and your stupid invisibility powers.

You’d been using them to pester the god ever since you discovered a rather embarrassing weakness of his.

Well… it was embarrassing to Loki, anyway. To you, it was like finding a goldmine.

Even just giving him a little poke to the side or brief tase to the ribs was enough to satisfy you. Because his reactions were always the best when caught off guard, having no way to prepare himself or attempt to hold back any silly involuntary noises.

The thing was… the god couldn’t exactly say he didn’t like it. It was hard to hold back an amused smile as you laughed as ran off after slyly attacking him. It reminded him of himself in a way. So mischievous and sneaky.

But again… he was the God of Mischief. He wasn’t going to allow a little brat to attack him and get away with it.

A cheeky snicker left your mouth as you peeked through the gap of the door to a nearby room of the Compound.

Loki was sat there, contently reading a book on Asgardian Tales.

Perfect.

Activating your powers, you vanished from sight. You snuck through the gap in the door, creeping towards the god as carefully as possible in hopes to not give yourself away.

One close enough, you spread your arms out, and…

“Gotcha!” You declared, lunging towards him. However, no form was wrapped around your arms. As you landed on the couch, you looked up in confusion, only for the god to shimmer away in a flash of green light.

“What the-“

You popped back into visibility due to your confusion, only to feel an invisible force pull you down to lie on your back as well as both your wrists above your head, making you yelp.

“Come on, dear. You do realise you’re not the only one here with deceptive powers?” A purring voice came from behind the couch and the god peered over it, an impish smirk on his face.

“Okay, wahait, wait-!” You were already giggling nervously as the god circled the couch. “I wahas just messing arohound!”

Loki chuckled darkly, sitting on your waist to ensure escape was impossible.

“You say that as if that’s the only time you’ve done it.”

You briefly held your tongue. The sorcerer did have a point, you’d lost count of all those pokes you’d done.

“Buhut-“

Loki held up an interrupting hand.

“No buts. You know the God of Mischief isn’t not going to get revenge on those who dare to go against him.~”

Before you could even protest, Loki’s hands had already began mercilessly squeezing your sides.

“EEE- Lokihihi!” You squeaked, bursting into giggles. Normally the god started out softer when tickling you! This was a lot more firmer, more playful.

He really was out for revenge.

“Ah-ah-ah, I said hush, Y/N. You’ve had your fun, now it’s my turn.” Loki teased, that grin refusing to detach from his face as he moved his hands up to scribble into your armpits.

“NooOOAHAHA-! LOKI WAHAHAIT-!” A high-pitched squeal filled the room, much to Loki’s amusement and your embarrassment.

“Aww, is the little mortal finally apologising? I think it’s a bit late for that, don’t you?”

No matter how hard you tugged at your wrists, Loki’s magic held faster. He even went as far as moving one hand down to your belly, using the other to randomly alternate between both of your underarms.

“Yohohou’re the wohORST-!”

“Now that’s not very nice, Y/N. Looks like some more punishment is in order.” The god briefly paused, allowing you to catch your breath.

…For now.

“Hmm. What was it that Stark said really gets you giggling?” He brought a hand to his chin, feigning thoughtfulness before a sneer grew on his face.

“…Oh, I know.~”

Without warning, Loki leant forward to press his lips against the crook of your neck, blowing a strong raspberry whilst his fingers dug in between your ribs.

As you continued to laugh and shriek, you couldn’t bring yourself to mind. I mean, you did expect some kind of consequences.

Anyway… you would without a doubt be getting him back. And that time, you wouldn’t reveal yourself period.
