Lego Mech MOC - Type Abyssus

Due to the shortage of bricks of certain colours, the mecha with cockpit is being halted. Looking at my abundant orange and adequate black, an idea of a humanoid mech with slim but long arms came to me.

I actually built the arms first and realized a slender (slimmer than Atlas) would go well with the arms. The idea of the mid section from the unfinished mech is put into this one to balance the proportion. Last but not least, I used the cone shaped pieces into legs.

All these designs required different type of joints, I developed them accordingly.

I literally made a backpack type cockpit but it did not turn out as nice as I liked due to how bulky it is compared to the overall slenderness.

So, WIP continues. Hope to update you all soon here!

I recently got my submission for a Lego Portal Test Chamber accepted on Lego Ideas!

I recently took on a small pet project of redesigning one of my earliest MOCS into a diorama and decided to submit it to Lego Ideas. It was accepted for the site so if you are a fan of Portal and Portal 2, give this a support! We can make more Portal merchandise a reality and we can start getting some Brick-Based Testing done!

This MOC was a submission for a LEGO ideas Test Lab contest. Since the entries were hidden, I thought I'll just post them now. I actually built 3 in total, I'll post over the next weeks.

There was a limited parts palette and they were supposed to have some customizability.

This one I call the Room Builder

It's kind of a system to build your own rooms, rearrange them and interior design them.

I came up with different interior builds, as well as different room styles and even exterior add-ons.
