Morro and Rogue. While I am happy that both of these guys get new, cool figures, something is just off. The Rogue one is the best, but that Morro just doesn't really look like him. So I tried my best to change some things up, with color adjusting and inspired by older Minifigures, and make a redesign of this pair.

The Morro one has great detail, but the colors just needed some adjusting to make everything pop. And I gave his a remake of his classic face, with parts from his new design, because for some reason Ninjago changed it? I also gave him a tattered cape. Also for some reason Lego is still against making a show accurate hair piece, for some unknown reason?

For Rogue I changed his colors all up. Since he's suppose to be in hiding, wearing all blue is just hilarious! I get this is not a serious series, but it's still quite funny. So I gave him more of the old Nya colors, since they are no longer being used(and maybe that is something in the back of his memory he can remember, what his Yang use to look like when he fell in love with her). And the straw cloak-thing(at least that's what I think it is) I made an actual Lego fabric.

And I want to clarify that I actually love both of these figures. I bought the set and it was very fun to build. The only thing is that the quality of Lego has been decreasing every year, and I just wanted to see if I could recreate how these guys would look if they had an older inspired design. For such expensive sets, you'd think Lego would try and make it appear more desirable, with better designs and more collectible features. But for now, this is what we've got; and I am happy that Ninjago at least is still a thing.

I dont have a great spot for him but for now he's gonna chill on my shelf above my monitor, right in front of my medications. Probably not the best idea considering how much that shelf gets bumped/wobbled and he will almost certainly fall over but that's fine he looks cool there

Rictusempra

In the second Harry Potter book, Harry and Draco face off in a duel. One of Harry’s spells is Rictusempra - a tickling spell. It immediately makes Draco double over in laughter.

This was tragically changed in the movie to make it more “exciting” While that is a crime against our community, because the scene is popular… you can now get the scene as a Lego set! Anyone who sees it will never be the wiser that you have a tickling spell being cast right in the room.

Lilo & Stitch Beach House to finally become a real Lego set in 2025

Nearly five years after a Lego Ideas product idea for the Pelekai residence to be made into a Lego set was put forward, it looks like Lilo & Stitch fans will finally get to recreate Lilo and Nani's iconic house in Lego form!

Back in 2020, a Lilo & Stitch and Lego fan known as ItsABricksLife626 put forward a product idea on Lego Ideas to have a Lilo & Stitch set based on the iconic Pelekai house from the franchise to be made, with minifigures of the main 'ohana of Lilo, Stitch, Nani, Jumba, and Pleakley along with David and Cobra Bubbles included. The idea also showed Lilo and Stitch in their hovercrafts seen at the end of the first film and Lilo having a Scrump piece.

The idea was able to garner the required 10,000 supporters in just under two years for The Lego Group to review it, and it was included in the second 2022 Lego Ideas review. However, it was decided that they would not produce a set based on the idea, disappointing many Lilo & Stitch and Lego fans who wanted more than just the Stitch minifigure from a Lego Disney Minifigures series in 2016.

Since the rejection, however, Lego and Disney did begin giving Stitch some more representation. This has so far included a four-armed Stitch minifigure as part of another Lego Disney Minifigures series in 2023, a Lego BrickHeadz model of Stitch (40674 Stitch) in February 2024, and a somewhat posable Stitch model (43249 Stitch) in March 2024. Lilo Pelekai would finally get her first minifigure through a different Disney-themed Lego Ideas set (21352 Magic of Disney) released in October 2024. Nevertheless, fans were still left waiting for a full-fledged Lilo & Stitch Lego set that truly captured the film and franchise, not just the popular alien.

But now, with a live-action adaptation on the way, it seems that fans will finally get the Lilo & Stitch Lego set they've been waiting for.

As shared by Brick Fanatics, Instagram user and Lego fan fateful_04 posted on January 2, 2025, a description sourced from a B2B website that a new Lego Disney set based on the Pelekai residence, 43268 Lilo and Stitch Beach House, will be releasing on March 1, 2025 for US$89.99. A couple days later, as shared by BrickFanz.com, German retailer Rofu posted a product listing for the set in question on their website, confirming the set's existence. The retailer has since taken down the webpage, since The Lego Group has not officially announced the set yet, but the page has already been archived on the Wayback Machine.

The set, which contains 834 pieces and is recommended for ages 9 and older, will feature pieces allowing Lego builders to construct the Pelekais' house. The set will also include a miniature Red One police cruiser, two surfboard pieces, a Scrump doll piece, a record player piece, a pickle jar piece (representing Lilo's attempts at punishing her hula classmates in the original film), a ukulele piece, and five minifigures: Lilo Pelekai, Stitch, Nani Pelekai, David Kawena, and Cobra Bubbles. Unfortunately, Dr. Jumba Jookiba and Agent Wendy Pleakley are not included, likely due to their unorthodox designs (Jumba's husky frame and Pleakley's very slim body and three legs) being difficult to easily translate to minifigure form without creating new molds.

It may have taken the upcoming release of a live-action remake for this to happen, but it's welcoming to see that fans of our beloved 'ohana will soon recreate an iconic house in the form of plastic toy bricks.

One more thing, it has been rumored since December that there will be a Lego model set of Angel coming in Summer 2025 to complement the already-released Stitch model. 43249 Angel will supposedly retail for $59.99.

Everyone I'd like you to meet my wife the Source Dragon of Motion

She is absolutely HUGE and has a lovely weight to her. She now sits high up on my shelf watching over the whole room and she looks absolutely magestic up there. Please excuse my garbage lighting it does not do her justice.

Oh and I guess she came with this lame stupid overdramatic throne thing too. I refuse to put it on her.

I dont know how to explain how absolutely HUGE she is. She's so fuckin big. She competes with the movie version of the destiny's bounty, and makes the bounty from s5 look kinda payhetic. Minifigures are like bugs to h3r. Big Man, what I call the 6 legged ice dragon and who I previously thought was massive, looks small to her. She cannot be held in one hand. She barely fit on my shelf, and I am so glad they made her wings so posable . She is 25 inches long and has a wingspan of 29 inches (63 and 74 cm).

I understand now why yall have been drawing her as a big buff beautiful woman. Yall were RIGHT. I wanna draw her now too

The set itself is also just an absolutely wonderful set, she has great articulation and is incredibly sturdy, with pretty thick joints. The windage especially I think look great, even from the underside, which is a problem I've seen in other sets that have these fabric/vinyl wings. It was a ton of fun to build and took me maybe 5-6 hours though I didn't time it. 10/10 use of my day. A cool trick they did with her feet is to have these kind of silicone pieces on the bottom of her feet that stick out just a little, providing for much better grip and which I think is a wonderful idea. The other odd but nice thing they did was instead of one massive instruction book it was actually divided into 5 books, for the body, front legs, back legs, head wings and tail, and the saddle. There were multiple bags for each book but it provided really nice pausing points. Good job lego. Good set.
