I might have had a very self-indulgent Funzwastaken au idea, that basically a modern fantasy stardew valley/dragon trainers type of setting. Might have to put it into my “potential aus” list, will slap my thoughts for it in the tags for now

Sure it's not that important to some people, but I'm curious to know what you had in mind when writing her, cause I'm obsessed and wanna know all the background info on all your things

First of all, lemme welcome you to this madness hehe ❤️.

And she learned Spanish, thanks to Miguel mostly.

She's this lovely latin-american woman that moved to Nueva York when a kid but didn't grow up with the language. Her parents were too concerned with her learning a new language than anything else that they forgot to keep encouraging the spanish.

It served it's purpose but it was hard for her being one of those kid that was part latino but didn't know any spanish. Bully ensured, but she was feisty. (Resulting in her being in trouble a couple of times because she got fed up with their shit.)

When she meets Miguel, we see her boasting up spanish cause she just reconnected with her mother tongue. (Thanks to her elder aunt Isa), however it was one of those things that come and go if you don't practice them enough.

Miguel had sooo much patience with her once they get married, it was hard and kinda frustrating to make progress only to be regressing with little things. But It was the perfect chance for Miguel to say the filthiest things right into her face and she would just look at him with a loving and curious look, thinking he was being poetic and in love.

But after years, and some extra lessons and a gorgeous half Mexican man as her personal tutor, nothing escapes from her.

Sometimes it gets under Miguel's skin cause she has such a potty mouth when angry. (It arouses and scares him)

The only one in her generation that ran away from home (More like forced to leave) when she was 17, worked her way through college, got a decent looking job until she started to get underpaid and the load work was the same if not worse. She meets Miguel at the age of 21. (He was 25 that time), only to become a mother two years later.

Her family criticized her for getting married so young, but look at her now ~

Happy, a spoiled housewife, a marriage of 13 and a half years and three lovely kids with a beautiful and dreamy husband that would do anything for her.

And her character is born out of the need to see more Latina women in Miguel’s fics :') There was soo little content about it. So I took matters in my own hands. Even though she is mixed, I wanted to make her a relatable character for everyone that has came across this AU. (Be it either family issues, growing up without the mother tongue, finding independence really young, toxic and unhinged family, going to therapy to heal, and other emotional thingies that are often overlooked ~)

So even if you aren't a Latina, you can still feel part of her character ❤️.

i love to answer questions (especially about starstruck at the moment bc i've been really into working on her lore lately) so there's never too many!! sometimes i get very hopeful that i'll draw art and it causes some delays, but i do always always love to get them!!

this bit of info:

what she currently wishes she could lose is her weird magical signature, and perhaps even her non-standard appearance; though i think her friends have probably grown to like one or both of these, and might miss them if they were gone. (this would mean a lot to her to hear).

was actually not any kind of hint at anything more significant (unlike a lot of my answers), it's just the folks around her being good friends and just good people in general!

like... the way she looks (different) the way she acts (different) and the way her magical signature feels (different) are all things that make her her. she is scared of them, because they're different. but her friends like her the way she is, so they like those traits too; if she did successfully change them they'd genuinely miss the traits of her that they've come to love*.

bandee is the one who has the biggest uncontrollable reaction to her magical signature, due to being a waddle dee (meta knight, dedede and kirby notice it but aren't as violently squicked by it) but he pushes past it and over time he starts to notice/be bothered by it much less. she does also pick up signature mimicry fairly quickly, so she can 'fake' a different signature if it really was bothering him, though this is sometimes as jarring as her original one if she picks a strong one.

but... you are right, kirby loves that she can do that!

he finds it a little similar to himself; kirby's magic is understandably more flexible than most, though not in the way starstruck's is. he's incredibly magically sensitive so he can hear her magic voice easily, and for him when she tries on different ones it's like doing an impersonation-- he finds it really entertaining and rather enjoys it! often she'll try out new ones on him to see what he thinks.

i don't bring him up enough in her lore, but magolor also actively likes her weird signature; for different reasons.

he finds it fascinating, but without the overbearing aura of 'is that a threat' that meta knight always exudes. he's assisting with trying to puzzle it out with them, but he was one of the first to make her feel like it was a cool and unique ability that she just happened to have, and something that someone could enjoy rather than be scared of.

*want to put a footnote here that this is framed in a positive light. this is not something about her she wants to change for herself (ie; dysphoria) and a change her friends should accept/support rather than 'missing the old her'. her 'weird traits' are something she only feels pressured to change by societal rules and expectations. her friends would support her of course but most importantly: she shouldn't feel she HAS to change just for being a little different. and they love her and think she's perfect as she is.

And that time was long gone when you finally found him sitting in the corner of the living room; a cup in his hand, half-empty.

You could bet, for his hair already unbraided and his appearance, that he was completely drunk and the trip was bad this time. Hvitserk was always two different kinds of drunken person: whether he would become the soul of the party, making jokes like a clown and having everyone laughing as fuck, or he would go down the hill and become full depressive, remember his exes or mourning his loneliness.

And this time, he was under the bottom of the well, probably trying to date Samara¹...

"Come on, buddy, time to go home," you said, taking the cup out of his hand and helping Hvitserk to get up as he mumbled something you couldn't understand.

You hated it when he was drunk like that. In any of his forms, you never liked to see Hvitserk too taken by alcohol because you knew no matter if he was joking, laughing, or sat crying somewhere in the room, that shadow of sadness would always be there in his eyes.

If only you were strong enough to move forward and tell him your heart...

But your fear to ruin your friendship with him was always bigger than your need to tell him how much you loved him through all these years. If you weren't there to be his friend then who would prevent him from drinking himself out of his body and do some shit that he would regret forever?

Someone had to take care of him and your fear that he would stop trusting you or push you away from him for good was always a barrier bigger than your courage to face your fears and maybe have a chance to top that loneliness inside your friend's heart.

"No!" he insisted, walking away from you. "Stop calling me like that... You're not my girlfriend..."

You sighed. He could be pretty harsh when drunk like that.

And I'm fucking tired of smiling every time you say good night when the truth was that I wanted to fucking kiss you goodnight and sleep by your side!"

It was like being shot in the head. Everything on you just froze with that shocked glare in your eyes and that stunned expression in your face that just let him understand everything wrong once again.

"Don't worry... I know I'm too much of a friend for you to love me. Fuck it, Y/N. Just pretend you didn't listen to it and let me fucking drink to forget. Tomorrow you can send me good morning through your phone and I keep pretending you woke up by my side when you come for Christmas breakfast... Fuck it..."

He was sounding so disappointed! And his eyes were so full of that deep sadness you've always seen in his greens whenever he was drunk and would look at you...

How long did he love you silently like that? How long since the two of you were stupid enough to not see what was now so obvious for you?

He stumbled again waking you up from the trance his words threw you in and you felt your heart clench: he was barely holding himself straight. He would probably forget everything he said that night... It wasn't the right time to confess your heart for him.

So, you just walked forward, passing his arm around your neck and supporting him while guiding his stumbling steps back to the car.

"Lemme go," he mumbled.

But that wasn't resistance enough for you to stop this time. You just took him to your car, gently putting him at the seat, closing the seatbelt around his body and taking your place at the driver's seat, turning on the car and observing as he slowly fell asleep against his window.

When you arrived in his home, his brother Ubbe helped you taking him upstairs and placing him on his bed. You took off his shoes and shirt knowing he liked to sleep fresher. He mumbled some complaints but not enough to get up, going down in a deep sleep as soon as you stopped messing with him.

But this time, instead of leaving, you took off your shoes, changed your dress for a shirt of his you had already used before, and laid by his side, caressing his sleeping face. Letting yourself rest and waiting for the morning to come, when he would be sober enough to have no idea of why his head was hitting him so hard and his mouth was tasting as if he had chewed all night on a rotten candy cane.

"Shit..." he cursed, moving in bed.

"Good morning," you said, causing him to come down from his sleepy high like a stone down from a hill.

"Shit, Y/N! You scared the soul out of me! I thought I was alone and..." he stopped, realizing he was shirtless and you were smiling at him.

"What are you doing in my bed?"

"Merry Christmas, silly," you said, kissing the corner of his lips before getting up as if it was the most natural thing of the world you walking around with nothing but a shirt of his and your underwear, causing him to feel chills coming down his spine.

Did the two of you had sex?

“Shit!” Hvitserk couldn't remember and worse than telling you his secrets, being rejected and fucking up everything would be admitting that he couldn't remember a moment like this!

His whole body-language changed and you almost broke a rib watching as he was really trying to seem natural about the idea of the two of you together last night.

"I mean... I thought... You would wake up first... Since you always wake up earlier than me," he tried.

"Oh, you thought?" you said, sitting on the edge of the bed, to look at him.

Your eyes causing him to feel even tenser which just made his expression even more unnatural.

"Yeah, I... I thought. Sometimes your good morning messages even wake me up, and..." Hvitserk gulped.

"Oh, seriously?" you insisted, with your eyes right into his.

Too much pressure for him to keep the lie and he sighed, disappointed with himself.

"No, it's not serious. I'm lying because I can't fucking remember a single thing of last night and we probably had sex and I fucking forgot everything about a moment that..." he started speaking uncontrollably.

But you cut his voice gently leaning forward and sealing your lips to his, surprising him with a soft and warm kiss that he took a while to understand he was receiving, but answered as passionate as you wanted to feel for so long.

The two of you tasted the flavor of one another's mouths until the need for oxygen forced you to separate, which you did with small pecks to his lips smiling against them.

"We didn't have sex, silly. But I suggest you get used to this idea," you said, giggling of his confused expression.

"What did I do last night?" Hvitserk asked, trying to understand what changed everything between the two of you in such a good way.

"You? Nothing, babe. You just got drunk enough to tell me what you truly wanted for Christmas. And well, I thought under your tree would be too cold for the night, so I decided it would be better for you to have me in your bed," you joked, giving him a slight flash of what he said.

"Jez..." he mumbled, smiling clumsy.

"That's fine, love," you smiled, "I wanted this maybe for as long as you did. I'm glad you got drunk last night..."

"I'm not... I wish I was really there when I told you this..." he mourned.

"Well, you're here now, aren't you?" you smiled bigger.

Feeling when he caressed your face softly the way you always wanted to feel, allowing you to lean your face in his palm, enjoying Hvitserk's warm touch.

"I don't think I wanna be friends anymore," he mumbled, nuzzling his nose to yours slowly, "I think I love you too much to keep being only your friend..."

"That's great," you mumbled, pecking his lips. “Because I just realized I'm addicted to your taste and I don't want to be anything that cannot kiss you all the time."

Hvitserk's arms embraced you tight. And you sighed against his lips, kissing him deeply, thinking that no Christmas morning was so good in your life before.

But surely your next years would be amazing by his side...

Chapter 2-1 Personal Info logs

In chapter 2, it’s possible to buy the personal info of Nao, Reko, Gin and Q-Taro with tokens, but it’s easy to miss. Reloading saves and redoing minigames is a hassle so I wrote them down for convenience. Most of them are in the form of conversing with AIs, I’ve put Sara’s lines in italics. Text under cut.

Gin > History ...History? What should I talk about, woof? "Hm... Just an introduction would make me happy." Gin Ibushi from Heiwa Elementary Class 6-3! I'm 12 years old, meow! Nao Unlike the others, Nao's personal info comes as documents you can read wherever. > History Egasaki Elementary School ... Graduated Egasaki Middle School ... Graduated Third Kurotsuki Private High School ... Graduated Takesasa Private College of Art ... Currently 1st year Middle-class, born and raised by a very ordinary family. School grades below average. Focused on art starting in high school, and now seems interested in pursuing only that. Looks up to an art club advisor she met in high school, staying deeply intimate with him even post-graduation. Often seen going to the man's atelier. Doesn't appear to have many friends, but has a long association with most she does have, so it's suspected she values relationships. Also, refrains from going out at night, generally staying at home even on days off. No information known on what men she associates with.

> Physical info Nao Egokoro Age: 19 Gender: Female Height: 162cm (5'4") Weight: 55kg (121lb) Has little experience in sports and the like, limited to P.E. classes in compulsory education. Even so, her reflexes are poor. Perhaps due to her inclination toward art, she has very good eyesight. Her ability to remember a scene for a long time or recognize the individual flaps of a bird's wings is within reason, yet superb. Since much of this comes from practice, about the only thing that can be called a born talent, it is thought, is her passionate love for art. No other notable characteristics, although she has a large bust. (Sara will remark that the last line is harassment and tear it out)

Eep need an opinion- I highkey want to post some of my writing on Ao3, but I'm scared to- Like I dunno bow to start and only one person reads it help- ~🌸

Yes, you should post your works, flower anon!!! I’m just gonna be safe rather than sorry and assume you don’t have an account yet. So lemme explain how to “get started.”

1. Ao3 or Wattpad?

A lot of people discredit Wattpad but underneath the outer layer of young teen cringe, it’s actually a decent platform. People can make inline comments within your chapters to react to a certain part of your story which I think is really neat. Trying to find fics on Wattpad is kind of a mosh pit. You just fall down a rabbit hole that has no clear organizational pattern whatsoever. Despite that hellhole, if your fic is decently written, it’ll get attention from the fandom. I usually get a lot more interaction from my Wattpad readers than my Ao3 ones.

Personally, I still prefer Ao3. While I don’t get as many comments, the set up is a lot cleaner. I know that as long as I label my fic with the fandom it’s in, people will be able to clearly find it. Whereas Wattpad is one gigantic mosh pit. Since you personally mentioned ao3, I’m gonna give a lil more info on that.

2. Starting ao3

Well, you’re gonna wanna create an account. Since ao3 is completely operated by nornal joes and not a corporate entity, once you apply for an account, you’ll receive it in a couple days to a week or so. I think I got mine in two days. It wasn’t that long. Truth be told, I dunno much about setting up the actual account. I still don’t even have a pfp, and I just learned how to subscribe to authors lol.

3. Publishing a fic

I highly recommend you write something up in google docs or word and then paste it into the platform. But after you have the first part written and you give it a nice title and summary, it’s time to caregorize it. Categorizing it will draw more attention to it then the prior two aforementioned ever will. My summary’s suck and I always rely on tags. Prime example: Wait a Minute

We love just quoting song lyrics. But lemme break it up a lil.

Fandom/Pairing: just plug these bitches in. This is what most people are gonna search for and how most will find ur fic

Tags: okay so lemme tell u, I don’t take tags that seriously. Just chug in a few about what your story is. If it’s a slow burn, put that, and whatnot. But also use non official tags. Sometimes ppl just click wgen a tag bewilders them or makes them laugh. Under the table is a great example of this bullshittery.

Rating: So besides tags, people can narrow their search results by choosing a certain rating. So try ya best to rate accordingly. Ao3 has a great lil explanation of each rating. If someone’s searching for only Explicit fics, they not gonna want to see one of just Sal and Ash playing tic tac toe. Twister on the other hand...

4. Wrapping Up

Idk I can’t remember anything else. High key I’m just a bumbling idiot who got lucky. When I posted Wait A Minute, it was before Sally face fanfics started heavily coming in. Since it was one of the first, it obviously got more traction. If I had posted it later, it’d probably just be lost in the sea of fics with gaping plot holes.

BUT I WILL READ UR FIC OVER BEFORE YOU POST IT IF YOU WANT??? But forewarning, I take beta reading seriously. I litter the documents people send with suggestions or concerns or whatever in the comments. So if ya don’t want that but would still like another pair of eyes on it, just tell me. I’ll still read it, but bite my tongue.

But honestly, you should post. Fandoms always need new content creators.

so this is my second baby, jae, and below is some info on him. as always, i’d love to plot and create connections for him bc he’s a sweet bean and needs love!! his plots page is HERE and my discord is momochi#0913 if you’d prefer to plot on there!!

- BACKGROUND:

so hanjae, who prefers to simply be called jae, was born and raised in south korea until the age of 3 when his family moved to chicago. there, he continued to grow up happy and full of life.

his mother stood at home to take care of him and his two sisters, one older and one younger.

his father was a chef and worked i plenty of different restaurants. he dabbled with many different food cultures when he cooked, but korean food, obviously, was what he was best at.

growing up, jae took an interest in it, as well. he was a natural when he helped his dad in the kitchen. he was always asking if he could help with diner, even begging to make it himself some of the time.

when jae was around 7, his dad had passed away due to a heart condition no one knew about - not even his father. it was sudden and left him totally frozen. 

jae was now the man of the house at such a young age, but didn’t really know what it meant. quickly he started showing so many characteristics and qualities of his father. always in the kitchen, trying to make sure the house was settled and there weren’t problems for his mother or sisters to worry about. he wanted to take care of them and make sure they were taken care of really well.

the thing was, jae was young. he had these thoughts and stress of making sure they were okay until the age of 13, where they didn’t exactly stop.

his mother worked here and there and they struggled for those years. when he was 13, though, his mom remarried. a man she may have once been in love with, but quickly learned that she wasn’t someone that deserved her love.

once the man had his mom wrapped around his finger and she agreed to marry him, things started getting bad. not only would he lay his hands on his mother, he’d always threaten to do it to him and his sisters. 

at some point, jae couldn’t take it anymore. he stood up to the man and threatened that if he ever laid a hand on his sisters, he’d probably kill him. jae was one of those ‘leave them, take me’ sort of personalities and honestly still is.

because of this, his now step dad started taking things out on him. his mother would try to stop it, but then he’d turn on her and it was a mess.

eventually, at the age of 18, jae had enough. he was leaving to califronia, was going to school, and opening invited his family. just not his step dad.

he worked hard to put himself through schools and keep himself up and not let him self fall. he figured that if he can make a good enough income, he could take care of his family and they’d leave the dude behind.

his mother refuses to leave chicago, though, knowing his step dad would find them at some point and hurt them more than all of the times from the past put together.

- PRESENT: 

now, jae is a well respected sous chef. he hasn’t made it to a head chef, but believes it’s because he wants to take it slow. he’s young and still has a lot to learn, even though his talents are very much acknowledged. 

he makes a good living, able to take care of himself, helps his sisters when need be, and even his mother when his step dad refuses to let her treat herself or get something they need out of spite.

he lives alone, but the place is big so he often lends or rents out a room in his place. this is usually to friends or acquaintances rather than strangers.

he’s always taking up opportunities in different restaurants and whatnot to help him grow and expand and hopefully get him enough respect and his name out there so he can open a place of his own one day and have it be a success.

when he’s not working or creating menus for places, something he does often for new places opening up, he teaches some cooking classes for beginners and even will teach a course or two at schools - usually for younger children in home economics.

- PERSONALITY:

jae is living well, but it’s not something he flaunts. he’s very humbled and keeps it that way.

although, he does love to spoil people. are you two dating? get ready, he’s generous. 

is actually super sweet and caring.

jae is the type to be such a people person. if someone needs night out, he will make sure he’s there until they cheer up or he sees they’re having the time of their life.

doesn’t like to say no if someone needs him for the stupidest things. like, he’ll say no if it’s common sense to say no, you know? but wanna go to the park at 4 in the morning? he’s down. wanna rob a bank? nah, he’ll say no to that. see?

when it comes to his love life, boy is... iffy.

he’s not looking for anyone or love, but isn’t opposed to it popping up. usually goes with the flow, but can fall hard.

it’s something he hates about himself  the falling hard - because it’s let his broken before.

but honestly, jae is such a ?? sweetheart?? angel?? kindhearted bastard??

but can also be bitey. he has a bite to him when need be.

is usually very into avoiding conflict. not because he’s scared to cause a problem or is too meek to deal with an issue. he’s not. but simply because he doesn’t feel he needs to waste his time and energy on stupid things.

also will knock the life out of you if tempted, so??

also still worries himself to death about his family back in chicago and it drives him nuts. unfortunately, he still has to deal with his step dad from time to time, as well.

- DEM FACTS: 

loves the colors red and orange. 

is the hottest in the kitchen, but that’s jut me bragging about him.

will cook for anyone and everyone, just ask.

loves to teach people the art of cuisine, ooh la la.

teaches on the side, but also will sit at home, playing video games and ignoring your calls and texts, oops.

cooks amazingly, but also bakes so well that you’ll fall in love with him.

is clumsy as hell, so how is this his job? your guess is as good as mine, lemme tell ya.

can’t drink coffee, because ew, but tea? yass.

is a flirt.

loves people, all of them. he likes you, he likes you. no labels.

hates lima beans, but so do i.

typical attire is usually always jeans and some sort of button up. can be open with a white tee under neath, can be a flannel with a tee underneath, can be an actual white button up that makes it looks like he’s going to a meeting, but is trying to make your heart stop. dress pants sometimes, depending on what’s planned for the day. shoes also depend. hair is always flopping and amazing, ugh.

is quite honest, but not super blunt. like, he’s not gonna straight up tell you that you look ridiculous, but he’ll try and ease into it be helping in a way. honest, but not blunt about things.

is amazing at soft and deep conversations.

he’s usually very lighthearted and open and loves to joke and tease. but if you need to talk, and i mean really talk, he’s also amazing at that.

I have to start this out by saying Giraffez, I’m so sorry! I tried my best but too many people wanted to keep us comp strong and wanted Lily O to stay. I really wish we would have had the chance to play longer together but sometimes it’s just not in the cards.

I LOVE JUDE

so idk where my last confessional left off but i think it was before tribal. so after tribal, jinx’s manifestations came true, we swapped, i ended up on a tribe with no one i knew except chris, so that was kind of…nnng. but hey, gotta roll with the punches. me and jinx were paired up for the challenge which game me a bit of time to talk with them, and they gave me some insight on ppl i didn’t really know on my tribe, and also they gave me a tarot reading, and it basically said that while i’m probably gonna have to deal with some bullshit, i just have to use everything i’ve learned to get over any obstacles, and stay calm and collected through it all. i’m really really praying for this one, since we just lost immunity, and now chris is going to the outhouse, i’m afraid that i’m truly all alone now. and if there’s one thing that scares me it’s being alone. i really like mikki tho, and i heard benj was good ppl. maybe if i let them know that raffy might have the half idol then maybe they’d be more inclined to work with me, but i also really enjoy raffy’s presence, so i don’t really want him to be a target. blake and i have had a good amount of dialogue so i’m hoping that he’d be willing to work with me, to be honest. ughhhhh why why why tribal. It’s my chronic overthinking in this swap that is going to do me in, I feel. It’s the pressure of having to actually think differently, and coming off of EVERYTHING I’ve seen in this community over the past 6 months, oh good Lord have mercy, I feel as though its so hard for me to want to not sacrifice my game, but at the same time... I feel all the pressure in the world to flip. I did have a lucid dream that if I got to a point where I consistently voted only white people at every Council, it would make my game look REALLY good by comparison, since I literally did everything I could, and no, I don’t want to hear anyone post season say this was rigged for Jinx, it’s not, we’re only going to go against each other down the road because of how this season has been set up, and it breaks my heart

So here's some tea I suppose. I was a pretty big fan of the tribe swap because people talked more in general. This was particularly interesting considering their different timezones but continued ability to keep up conversation. It was pretty apparent that I was at a numbers deficit from my original tribe but my hope was that people didn't want to play like "that" and then if they did that my former tribe would throw it to keep the numbers. Apparently that is not true as Lily C went as hard as possible to win a challenge she could have convincingly thrown as an "accident" multiple times. At any rate, based on the total lack of communication with me concerning who I am voting it is evident that either the plan is to vote someone without telling me or that it is to vote me. This means that regardless of the situation I am in a terrible position and will be leaving sooner rather than later. I don't know that I've been swap screwed in the past (perhaps, I've been playing for too long) but it really stinks.

As I'm writing this, I have a big gulp from... you guessed it... 7/11. I need to flip on one of the three of Monty, Lily O, and Lily C. My best option is going to vote for Lily O, I need Monty and Lily C to know I'm only doing this because yanno, things look awfully awful, and the pressure of making the right move and yet making sure I don't lose relationships is starting to get to me.

You had thought by this age, those days of enthusing over your crush on a boy who would never look your way would be long gone, a thing of the past. Who knew the boy would only upgraded to a man, and you still very much gushing about him in your diary near daily. If you have to be really honest with yourself, all this seems a bit childish considering you’re no longer a teenage girl with only a kiss under your belt to count as “dating experience”. Yet if you think really hard, there’d be no other way for you to openly dream of the man without it getting back to his ears by the end of the night. Your guy best friend and roommate, Bobby? Also his best friend and boy, has he got loose lips. Your girl best friend? She got scooped up by Bobby faster than you could even finished introducing them to one another. Although you know she wouldn’t mention this tiny crush to her dear boyfriend, the chance of it getting out by some freak accident still greater than you’d care to risk. Plus, you didn’t want to burden her, having putting on her the need to lie to Bobby, whom she had never lied to before.

- Once again, Hanbin had made it quite difficult for my poor heart to function. Why does he feels the need to roam this apartment as if he lives here. Honestly who does this boy think he is, showing up unannounced looking mighty fine in that giant white button up he stole from Bobby. 

Also, what is it with him and Bobby being shirtless 25 hours a day. Does neither of them know of this concept call PJ shirts or are they just too broke to afford shirts. What happened to mutually respecting the common space between roommies.

The sudden thunderous bang of the front door had your heart near leaping out of your chest, the neat rows of unfinished thought permanently ruined with a giant jagged black line wiggling its way through the page before the pen too, tumbling out of your grasp fro shock.

“Hey Y/n!!!!”

“God, Hanbin. You’re going to give me a heart attack one of these day. Why are you here again, where’s the bunny.” 

Of course out of all the day for him to walk in on you penning down your deepest thought, it’d be the day where you finally convinced yourself to enjoy the living room, taking the chance to utilize the space without Bobby’s incessant screaming at the TV. Seriously, what even made you think writing in your diary in the common space would be a good idea, you should’ve known this would happen even as sure as you were they had gone out for dinner. The cosmic hates you, of course this would happen.

“He ran into his girl, she was on her way up and they abandoned me so I came back to hang with you. Well, more like I didn’t wanna be third wheel.” Eyes lingering in your wide open book, his lips suddenly curl up in a mischievous smirk. “Ooooo diary. Whatcha wrote? I saw my name.” 

Is it possible for your blood to physically drains from your body in an instant, because if it is, you were sure that’s what happening right this second. Even in the muddy reflection of the Tv screen, you could tell your face had just gone ghost white from the sudden reminder that the gateway to your most secretive thoughts is still very much in public domain... Worse, Hanbin’s domain. 

“NOTHING!” As your panicking self regaining a bit of composure after a less than normal scream for an answer, the leather bound book slowly closing and as inconspicuous as you could, slid it away from sight under the cushion. “I mean, nothing, it’s nothing.”

Giant puffy coat shed, Hanbin settles just beside your warm body, stealing body heat and no doubt already craving skin-ship in the short 10 minutes since Bobby had left him to have his own fun. A stupidly adorable pout blooming on his cherry soft lips, those doe eyes working you into a stupor but before it could accomplish its mission of prying info out of you, his desire for skin contact overdrive every other function in his body as Hanbin nudges his nose right into the crook of your neck. 

“Please, tell me! Y/n~ I saw my name~”

“It’s nothing.” You sigh in relief, mentally thanking yourself for having written your deepest, most intimate thought in (insert your language). At least you’re not all dumb and daze when it comes to Hanbin... Although, you’re this close to just giving him the damn book just to shut his whiny ass up. Seriously, how could a grown man be on par with a three years old, Bobby really didn’t named him whine king for no reason. 

“Please~ I promise I won’t tell anyone. I saw my name, Y/n~~”

“It’s private, Binnie, I can’t...” You’re struggling, the truth teetering at the tip of your tongue, asking, begging to see the light of day especially when hanbin is practically on his knees, dying to know. You aren’t even sure what’s worse, fighting the urge to kiss him right there on the spot or keeping this secret. He had made it near impossible not to let your gaze lingers on those sharp collar bones peeking from the wide neckline white tee sheer enough for you to make out the dark patch of ink so handsome on his smooth skin. 

Yet you’re scare, fearful of the catastrophic power of the words waiting to be unleash, would it pummel this friendship into nothingness? You’re too much of a coward to find out, even with the sweet begging and gentle whisper... You just couldn’t.

“Oh...” How Hanbin could shift from sounding like honey to this icy tone cutting at your heart in a mere second, you’re too drunk in him to keep up with. “It can’t be too good then if you’re so afraid of me finding out.” Gone were the little teasing smirk, gone too was the soft nudges and tight hug around your waist. In place, a bitter chuckle, almost in disbelief that you could think of him as anything else other than a friend. Had he done anything wrong, offended you somehow that you’d resort to badmouthing him in a diary. A dreary sigh rips from his lungs as the handsome man shy away from your touch, getting up preparing for another trek in the cold night. 

“No, Hanbin. That’s not what-”

“It’s okay, Y/n. I know I can be a lot sometimes, the bunny told me all the time. I understand.” Even when he’s upset with you, Hanbin couldn’t help but does his best to soften the blow with a weak smile. Actually, he’s not upset with you really, just the situation. As he pull back the jacket that hadn’t had a chance to dry, Hanbin mentally curses himself for being so careless, for forcing you into revealing things that no one should see in the first place. 

“Binnie, just listen for one second, please.” Before his cold fingertips could reach for the handle of the front door, you had thrown your body in between his and the wooden barrier, a desperate gaze in your eyes. “I’ll tell you, just, promise me you won’t be angry.”

“You don’t have to, I’m sorry for pressing. I know diary is something precious and really, you don’t have to. Just tell me that it’s not something bad. I shouldn’t have look in the first place, i’m sorry.” And with that Hanbin remains silent, his gaze intently on your shifting features but those beautiful eyes no longer as stormy. 

“I want to tell you for awhile now, just, I’m too much of a coward to.” No longer could you bear the burning of his gaze so yours downcast to his chest, the place where you had always associate with warmth and comfort through the many movie night he’d let you rest your weary mind on. “I wrote that you made it difficult for me, for my heart.” His lips parted in what you guess, shock, and you could feel the force of thousand storm forming into word at his tongue. “Just let me finish, don’t say anything yet.”

Your eyes searching for his, looking for any sign at all but all you got was an undecipherable mixture of emotion flashing, mingling with confusion. Nevertheless, hanbin respects your wish and kept his lips tight. 

“Thank you.” Your eyes flutter close, the most strenuous sigh dances its way from your quivering lips. “I said you made it difficult because my poor heart overworks itself every time you’re near me. It’s like any second, you could look my way steal all the air out of my lungs and honestly, I don’t know how much longer I can handle it. I like you, Hanbin, I like you so much that it’s unbearable but I know you won’t ever look my way. I don’t know if you’ve never notice the way I act around you or chose not to but it’s unlike how I am with any other guys. And I know it’s stupid to write in some stupid diary but it’s the only way I could stop myself from overbearing you.”

Once again, your search for any emotion on his face fail as your heart breaks at the blank canvas, lacking any and all response to the giant bomb you had just dropped on him. Unknowingly, your lips whisper a meek “please say something” with tears pricking at your lashes but Hanbin stays still. 

“I’m sorry, this must all be so suffocating for you. Now that you know what I wrote, you’re welcome to leave.” A small apology chokes out of you before your body moves aside, clearing the doorway for the stunned man to make his way into the night. At this point, you’re not sure if you want to linger and watch Hanbin leaves at in the light of your crush made public and also its demise within just a few minutes, so you walk away. 

“Goodbye, Hanbin.”

Even before the last syllable of his name hits the air, a strong hold on your wrist cast yet another mystifying shadow on your features and before you could even process which way was up, Hanbin already got you in his arms, clinging on tighter than he had ever done before. 

“You didn’t even give me a chance to breathe before condemning me right into the friend zone. That’s just mean, Y/n.” 

“What?”

“You say this is suffocating for me but, have you notice?” 

As much as you’d like to forever stay in his arms, resting your cheeks on his chest as your skin soaks in the rumble of his steady heartbeat, you’ve got to know what he’s on about. Pushing the clingy boy just as far as you could without him fighting to pull you back in, you gaze up at his face only to find the cheekiest smirk and a small kiss to your nose. 

“What are you talking about?”

“I suffocate you with my body all the time, and I don’t see you complaining. Like 5 minutes ago, I quite literally thrown myself into your lap on the couch.”

“You’re just teasing me now...” 

With a long sigh and a slight scrunch of his nose, Hanbin presses yet another kiss onto your skin, this time your cheek.

“What am I going to do with my clueless girl. I like you, for awhile now but I’m bad with words. I kept thinking of how to ask you on a date but it’s hard expressing so much emotion into words. So i smother you with affection instead.”

“You mean it?” You had always want to believe there’s just a bit extra love in the way he display his affection toward you but never once let yourself actually buy into it. To know it was all his effort to convey what he couldn’t say sets your heart ablaze. 

“Always! Get your coat, let’s go out too. Then maybe after, we’ll cuddle and you can say all those things you want to write down about me to my face. I’ll listen to it all, even all the things from the past.”

I got swiped in the week. He is culpable and using his insurance Farmers. I get a rental while my car is in the shop. Farmers- do they pay for my rental insurance, if I am not covered to drive another car but my own? I have legal insurance- liability but not collision. Tesco Car insurance cancelled?

I have just returned from 2 months being away and was very much surprised to read letters from tesco insurance about being unable to take money from my account for the annual renewal of my policy and therefore cancelling it. I talked to my bank and they said that there were not attempts to take money from my account by tesco. While tesco says that my card has been refused. I asked tesco if they could reinstate my policy due to some fault with the payment, which does not seem to be my bank they say that cancelled policy cannot be reinstated and suggest to pay  230 for the period that they were trying to collect and open a much more expensive new policy. They also told me that I face penalty because my car is uninsured now. I would like to reinstate the policy as cancelled unfairly and at the same time I need to insure my car quickly to avoid facing penalty. I wanted to maintain Tesco policy in case they reinstate it, as i will not have cancelled policy on my records and will not have to pay extra for the month, they have been cancelling my account, i also have 2 years no claim with them, provided another insurance, whose car slightly dammaged my front door, while i was parked at a petrol station, pays them. This insurance admitted that it was their fault, but have not finished paying Tesco. This is another reason, tesco could do me even cheaper insurance, once the responsible party pays in full. A couple of weeks ago a lady ran a red light and hit my car. Her insurance company took a week to get me a rental and two weeks later finally go look at my car and determined a total loss. The adjustor was pretty rude about the whole situation (yes I know that's their job) and started in on how my car has extensive hail damage which is not true. There were some dents from hail on the hood and trunk lid but every used car in Oklahoma has hail damage since we have had several storms over the past few years. He said that they would have paid $5900 for the car but because of the hail damage they will only pay $1250 which is ridiculous. I've done my research and the average cost of my car within 200 miles is $6000 and I have received one estimate on repairing all of the damage was $2000 yet he claims it will cost $7000. The dealership I bought the car from just sold a vehicle just like mine with hail damage for $5000. The engine and everything else on the car was perfect. When I told him all of my info he laughed at me and said oh by the way we are only paying for your rental till the 9th so you need to settle quickly, take it or leave it so I said I was calling a lawyer. I'm waiting on the lawyer to call me back but I just want to know, what should I look for to help me. I've already looked at the market in my area and have record of the prices for the same make and model. I can't take it to a body shop because the car is crushed. Any info appreciated.""
