Hiiii pookie🥺💙 una pregunta nena about mami O'hara, is, she can be strict with her kids if they behave bad or goes modo malcriados? Or she is into "La crianza moderna" where the parents goes submissive towards their kids-
Hola bebé ❤️
And yes, Mama is strict but also applies the respectful and gentle parenting (Not the permissive one.) She never hits her children.
Mama didn't want her babies to grow up fucked up like she did cause physical punishment. Miguel has never beaten the kids either. Cause in truth is useless and it does more harm than good.
If any of the kids throw a tantrum or act spoiled, Mama will explain why their behavior is bad and why she is scolding them. And if they don't listen, they get a time out. Either having their devices removed, no tv or allowance. Then, when things are calm enough, another talk ensues to sooth out any hard edges left.
She's breaking the cycle with that generational customs. But won't hesitate to step in. Firm but fair.
Specially with Benji.
With Gabi she had little issues with behavior, despite Miguel pampering her to no end. He is firm but fair too.
They've taught eachother what works too. They went to kids workshops and the like cause they had no idea what to do at first.
But one thing is true, the kids know Mama's angry or has had enough of their antics when she calls them by their complete names.
Miguel once told Benji the story of The Chancla. And how it spooks spoiled kids.
Benji hid Mama's chanclas after that.

Yeah, the movie basically ended like that, Godzilla was pretty badly wounded, so retreated to heal. Kiryu had run out of battery after that, and somehow floated to the surface despite being metal.
As for the not-Godzilla movie, it's the one that looks like this:
Looks nothing like Godzilla at all, more like a modified T-Rex mixed with an iguana(the animal that got mutated by an atomic bomb to look like this).
The movie was originally going to look more like the classic Godzilla, but the original idea was scrapped when the directors changed. I don't remember who was originally planning to make it, but the new director in charge was Roland Emmerich, who didn't really care about Godzilla. He changed everything about Godzilla except for the origins and made this.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the movie, it's a good monster movie. It's just not a Godzilla movie despite the title.
By the time this movie was made, Toho had decided to put their Godzilla movies on hiatus 3 years prior to this movie because of box office numbers or whatever, and because they wanted to let America have a shot with the rights to Godzilla. The last movie was Godzilla vs Destroyah, the movie where Godzilla dies. But due to this movie being made, it pretty much disappointed and made Toho decide to make more Godzilla movies to basically cleanse the public's eye of the false Godzilla.
And so the Millennium Era of Godzilla movies were made, out of spite for America's disappointing first iteration of the giant lizard. They made fun of America's version throughout most of the movies, obviously or subtly, until the last movie before America had another go and the one in 2014 came out. That last movie was Godzilla Final Wars, the 50th anniversary send off for the kaiju back in 2004. In that movie, they bought the rights to the 98 Godzilla, renamed it Zilla, made it look worse than the movie, and had it face off against the true Godzilla. Here's how that went(you're gonna have to go to this link of their fight, I can't put a video in an ask):

Oh I see!
That is very interesting owo
Video's fun as well ^^

hiiiiiiiiiiii 🥰 i have had a Realization™ again–
so I was thinking about The Harlequin Duck (as I often do) and specifically thinking about how clever the title is—I can't say for certain if it was intentional, but I love the play on "Calico (known for their colours) Jack" and "The Harlequin (named for their colours) Duck".
and it got me thinking about how fun it would be (✨ for me ✨😌) if they did that with the titles/creature parallels more often. so I started thinking about the other creature-parallel episodes in AnB so far, and sadly "The Lonely Frog" does not sound like "Paani", and I can't make "Frog" sound like "Macaque" no matter how hard I try,, and of course, "The Golden Mole" does not sound like "Tracker" at all.
...but d'ya know what it DOES sound like? 👀
"The Golden Child":

Anna: *is neglected and abandoned for majority of her life, starting at like age 5*
Anna: *runs into someone who actually sees Her and notices Her and doesn't act like she's invisible or a burden for the first time in over a decade*
Anna: hey sister I desperately want to notice me and will accept even the tiniest bit of attention from, here is a man I just met that is, *checks notes*, actually talking to me. I'm going to marry him.
Elsa: that's ridiculous! You just met him.
Anna: ~~yeah and in the few hours I've been with him he has talked to me more than you (or anyone else really) have in like 13 ish years~~ Oh haha yeah but like... I Know him and he's a prince!
Elsa: No. I don't approve.
Anna: ~~who the hell are you to approve??? You. Don't. Talk. To. Me.~~ Oh. Uh. Well can we talk about it? (Definitely is not desperate and terrified to lose the tiniest shred of a shred of a relationship she has with her sister) *Reaches out for the attention and affection she is so starved of*
Elsa: *freaks out, reveals giant secret, runs away*
Anna: holy *shit*... I gotta go make sure she's okay!! ~~I gotta make sure I don't lose her.~~
Anna: *goes after Elsa and gets shamed by another stranger for A going after her and B 'falling for a man she just met'*
Elsa: *rejects her more and tells Anna she is better off without her*
Anna: *heartbroken cause the last member of her family, the person she idolizes and so desperately wants love from, Keeps Rejecting Her.*
Anna: *leaves heart broken ~~and heart frozen~~ to go back to the only person this whole night who has shown her undivided 'love', attention, care, affection*
Hans: *is an asshole out of no where????*
Anna: *heartbroken AGAIN because she really can't trust anyone and maybe it's her own fault she's so unlovable.*
Elsa: *Is gonna be killed*
Anna: *is on the brink of literal death and when it comes to going after the stranger who is actually pretty nice and kind and likes her for her and treats her with respect vs the person who she has longed for her entire life even though she keeps pushing her away, she goes after her sister because despite it all she still wants Her love, hell just her Attention above anything else.*
The movie: This is true love 🥰
Me, definitely not projecting my own life onto this at twelve: Hold up this hurts a lot and I relate to these characters wait-
My sister: This movie is mine and only I get to sing and only I get to love it cause it's mine. But if you sing it perfectly and never mess up any of the words or notes I guess I'll let you watch with me.
Me: Really???? 😍🥺🥰🥺😍
...
Okay so this was going to be a critique about how Anna is seen as naive and dumb and it is used against her the entire movie without ever acknowledging *why* she's like that. And how a lot of fans don't see it either. But then it really just turned into me trauma dumping lmao.
But seriously. I feel like most of the neglect and abuse talk ends up being towards Elsa cause she visibly struggles more. And Anna hides it because she has to. Her parents were so worried about elsa that they didnt have time for her pain too. So it's hidden. But it is most definitely there. And it deserves to be mentioned and talked about.
Also this is a very common situation for emotionally neglected people to find themselves in. They cling onto someone showing the slightest bit of decency and believe it's good and amazing cause when you're starved, you'll eat poison if it might help for just a moment. Cause something is better than nothing. And when the something is bad and hurting, the pain of going back to nothing is worse. So you're stuck with a Hans believing it's what you deserve because of years of neglect and abuse.
But yeah. Anna is just dumb and naive. Definitely no trauma on her end.
Bottom line:
Anna deserves better. In canon and from fandom. And ESPECIALLY from Disney.

W A I T okay this has probably been done before but has anyone ever written a fic where The Avengers just. like. didn't happen? like Thanos couldn't break Loki so he just threw him down to Earth or maybe Thanos did break him but the Mind Stone was supposed to make him do Evil Things except it stopped working after he went through the Tesseract? so Loki's just kinda There™ in SHIELD headquarters while the whole place is falling apart and everyone's just like ??? and Fury and Clint drag the very confused random man out of there before they call get very dead and Loki's either half-dead because Thanos couldn't break him or he's just very confused because the Mind Stone suddenly stopped working and it's just a very unproductive moment?
and then stuff happens and Thor comes down to Earth and they manage to get the Tesseract from SHIELD somehow and they go back to Asgard and Loki hasn't actually really done anything so they go to see Odin and Odin's just like ........... because like yeah Loki kinda overthrew the monarchy but he was having a bad day and he does seem to realize that was wrong (at least enough that he's not actively trying to murder his brother again) so Odin just kinda awkwardly pats him on the back and welcomes him home
and then Loki just has to. like. live with it. and everyone's all weird about him now and they've always been weird about him but now they're extra weird about him because he was king for a day? and then fucking died? except he didn't? and then obviously Heimdall and Sif and the Warriors Three know what really happened which makes it even weirder when Loki comes back and tries to go back to his normal life and nobody's gonna tell him not to go back to his normal life because. like. he should do that. probably. but at the same time like twelve months ago Loki fucking killed himself and how do you just move on from that (and if you figure out the answer please tell Loki because he really doesn't fucking know)
