when it comes to these two, i rlly liked their lil story moments in ddlc+ , i feel like they kinda bring eachother out ov their shell, monika with her more "her actual interests are hidden behind popular girl figure" and yuris just an introvert in general but they both have a "literature interest" which rlly helps put them together for me ehe :3<

among just personalities i feel like monika can be more playful on occasion and yuris a good foil to that <33 i quite like them yesyes also me as monika and my gf as yuri prolly makes me hyperfocus on them even more i wont lie LOL just a lil personal thing BUT

YIPPIE FIRST ART POST IN AWHILE

I've recently began lurking on here again and went back to DCA stuff only to find 1 of 2 aus this creator made that have held my mind hostage as of late so i needed to make something. i also heard of a possible dca server?? from scrolling through the dca tag, that i would die to join but me spooked. maybe idk CREDIT TO @wyervan FOR THE AWESOME YULETIDE AU

I heard no creative limit and ran with it, so here is my character "Sandy" or "boogey" who is both the sandman and the boogeyman (because i think they'd both be the same entity since they work with dreams/nightmares, same spectrum so-)

For the basic idea of her character, 'appeared' in 1700s-ish, was originally just the sandman who gave sweet dreams to children to comfort them, began getting angry at seeing that adult figures were causing her dreams to fail/harm the young minds so in her anger transformed her into the boogeyman who gives nightmares to the bad folk who harm innocents of any nature, kid or adult, and also some lessons disguised as nightmares to children who need it (I.E bullying another child for being poor, nightmare being your stripped of your wealth and are alone) to make them wake up spooked to make better decisions and be kinder because young minds are moldable so why not teach kindness.

In the shadows she is the boogeyman which form shifts and melts to mold into shadows with her hourglass heart sealed away, in the light she is the sandman with her hourglass heart exposed in the back behind a pane of glass (sand melt into glass haha heart hot etc idfk im tired its 3 am). she also takes care of a orphan 7 year old girl named alice in her home somewhere near the edge of the forest.

sorry for the yap session, i have more details about her lore/concept if others are interested, if the character is too OP lemme know and i shall shelve her in the pantry, i'm also making a y/n for the slasher au aaa.

i am constantly brainrotting about Mammon, he is on my mind 24/7 😭 i will def encourage it. i will yap about him if left to my own devices!!

HE'S SO AJSJDJF. please i want to go on a long drive with him at night with the windows down, and the streetlights flashing over us. I just know I'd be safe with him. I wouldn't have to worry, full passenger princess mode.

like wtff he stole my heart when i tried really hard to not have a fave character, and brothers under a pact group (+ solomon + thirteen later on) are my everything, but it always always came back to him. He is my fave and my number one and 🥹 when he bandages the players wrist after they get hurt, that's when i was like "oh. oh no."

i want to steal his jacket !! and play with his rings !! lemme steal his sunglasses off his head, even if I can't see without my own glasses. i would want matching keychains, I don't work at a craft store for nothing !! all the beads, we're making friendship bracelets too!

i know he'll always be there if called. I'd do anything for him, i could never say no to him, but I know he'd do the same. aaAAAAA AKDKWKD

*head in hands* sorry, I'm so hopelessly in love with this silly guy !! He makes my day !! and thinking about him cheers me up after having the worst shifts. Even if my wallet suffers trying to get his cards and merch

It took me a little more time to fall for him, but once I did I was OBSESSED. This was far before Barbatos and Solomon were even on my radar. I was thinking about Mammon all the time for a little while there... people who've been following my blog from the beginning might even remember when he was my pfp lol!

I think for me it was that his personality is like the exact opposite of mine. So I found that compelling!

Ahh I love his car too I think it'd be really nice to go on a drive with him! Inevitably, all the stories I wrote about him and my MC involved a car scene like that!

You just know that he'd be so in love with you, too. He'd want you to be his passenger princess, he'd love it whenever you stole his sunglasses, he would be SO INTO friendship bracelets! He might pretend that he isn't, but you would know the truth. Especially because once you gave him one, he'd never take it off.

Girl I was balls deep in my attempt to make fanart for u a couple months ago

Like I had the reference pictures collated and I sat my ass down and picked up an pencil with the intention of actually drawing something after ages

cause basically I became a lil sad cause I felt like I forgot to draw bc last year in school I took an external art subject and it didn’t occur to me that doing a hands on subject through distance study wasn’t the brightest idea

anyway that fucked me over and led to me dropping and taking up fucking legal studies 😭

Even though I’m a bit more STEM based I can still fw the wordy subjects but not this someone pls save me why am I being assessed on the bi cameral structure of parliament

saur yh I’m super lazy as is with anything so that situation just put me off drawing and art completely

congrats to me setting every world record for yip yapping and going off track

ummm yh for context it was like my 10th read through of the kickoff chapter 6 scene that compelled me to collate a bunch of reference pics that ranged from twitter smut comics to bathroom sinks and eventually I gave up because anatomy is a bitch

I changed into a dress with the same type of neckline I think reader was wearing bc of the way it tucks under her boobies and I was this close to just shamelessly positioning myself in front of the mirror to make my own references

then ofc I got distracted by a half baked portrait of Rose from titanic that I drew when I was like 15 and ended up drawing a two hour long remake of the same picture

only for my friend to tell me it looks like Mary Shelly’s ghost

It’s 5 am rn and I couldn’t go back to sleep bc of a stupid fever (I woke up at around 1:30 bc I felt like sneezing?????) but at least I got to read the latest chap of IHM 😭 and lemme just say--
