Okay but Leon from Mr robot is such an interesting character, he's so amicable and loves to joke around and doesn't seem to take things too seriously. But at the same time he's legitimately terrifying because killing people doesn't seem to have same effect on him that it does for characters like Darlene or the average person. Saying things so cold that you can feel the frigidness radiating off them in a casual tone like "Relax.. if I wanted to kill you I would've done it already." Even forgetting what to most would be a traumatic moment (even forgetting the events of the barn scene at the end of season 3) and does it all while probably quoting something from his favorite show at the time or info dumping about a new show he's been watching.

He's the true embodiment of chaotic neutral and God I love him.

Also unrelated his fashion style goes insanely hard no one but him could rock a knee length camo jacket so effortlessly. Anyway thanks for coming to my ted talk, I love Leon and I love this show so fucking much.

-kevin is a nerd/freak, no way he's friends with Radford and isn't a nerd, bro def has a fixation on sonic the hedgehog but only owns 06 (he borrows other games from rad)

- streber is not an engineer but a theater prop maker, he enjoys the stage and probably was in a robotics club in college but engineering/ robotics was not something he wanted to go into directly. He dose prop commissions and is a teacher assistant at an elementary school.

-streber is great at math and calculations, but my boy can't read/spell well.

- streber likes to fidget with Kevin's hands

-kevin likes to just flop on top of streber. Streber likes the pressure. Kevin's like a cold weighted blanket, and streber is a heating pad.

- streber struggles with depression, it's been a year since Bob and while he's doing better, he struggles with not feeling anything sometimes, he's nervous on how his response to his trauma isn't like others. He kinda pretends it didn't happen and continues on, and only really thinks about it when he's alone at night. (Based on my own experiences with grieving a lost one)

- streber has mixed feelings about people who survived Bob, he never blamed them but he's just is extremely upset he couldn't get the same treatment from that monster. He stopped going to support groups and just dose 1 on 1 therapy.

- streber lived with his parents for a while after getting out of the hospital (the rats stayed with Leon 💪) , and kinda just wanted to rot in his bed, but eventually went to some sort of support. Mainly because of fears of going to the mental hospital (yes, again,based on irl experiences)

-streber refused to talk to news outlets regarding the incident.

- he fluctuates wanting to get a prosthetic arm to not wanting to.

-kevin is on depression and anxiety meds. (Literally hc he has the same as me, bro take them everyday or else bad shit happens!!! )

- Kevin doesn't talk about work when he's not at work, it makes him pissed, mainly because the most interesting thing is skid & pump, police, teens stealing, or killers/demons

- Kevin hates work and dose experience fear of "god, what I'm if I go into day and I die" but the anxiety of having to get a new job and change his norm over powers his fear of death.

- streber bites Kevin, like just a stress and comfort thing, Kevin is okay with it. Streber kinda bites his arm sometimes

- streber and Kevin rent out apartments, they don't live together.

-streber loves his rat children. We got Socrates🐀, motor oil🐀, and Mr. Girl🐀!!

- Kevin had a love at first sight kinda thing but didn't act on his feelings, mainly because he likes to get to know people first before asking them out and bc work has him in a choke hold.

- Kevin would like a pet cat but.... Work 😔

- they met because of Radford 💪 the real hero of spooky month's 18-30 year olds 🫡.

- streber became pretty good friends with Kevin at first then he fell for him, bro just loves cringe fail men (and women). Kevin was beefing with children, no way your gonna find a better boy failure /silly

- streber disassociates during slasher films. He still loves horror and Halloween as it was his comfort growing up, but Bob left a stain that will forever haunt him.

-streber's favorite horror movies are silent & psychological horror.

- Kevin isn't a huge fan of horror movies but he appreciates "Dave made a maze" & probably "Willard", he's like " Dave just like me fr!!!" (Go watch the movie, it free on Tubi 😎)

- both can't drive, streber takes the bus, Kevin takes his bike.

alrighty folks, i'm gonna go on a RANT here (positive)

since i'm a writer and an artist, i tend to absorb a lot of media through comics, especially webcomics (since they're free). but the thing about that is, since i'm absorbing the art of others, i use them to improve based off of comparison. so! i'm gonna hype up some artists and writers whose stories i really love, since they're on here and they have stuff they've made outside of their comics (or on the off chance that you know about me and not them, v unlikely, go check these amazing people out!!!)

Red @comicaurora has a webcomic called (you guessed it) Aurora! she balances comedy and emotion SO WELL and some of the panels are so breathtakingly gorgeous (especially towards the later episodes, it's so long). she also has a youtube channel run with a collaborater, Overly Sarcastic Productions, which absolutely rocks. i highly recommend especially for lighting, body language, and expressions on the art front, and for character dynamics and worldbuilding on the writing side of things!

@quark-art / @earth2068 has a webcomic called Earth2068! it has literally made me almost laugh out loud in a public place, which is very hard to do! all of their characters are such little goobers (positive) but it doesn't detract from the story at all! it adds to it like salt in hot chocolate (i tried it i was skeptical too trust me salt your hot chocolate). i recommend her for seeing how to stylize anatomy (especially for fat people, mr leon valakos is the ideal man) and overall design (weapons, little robot guys, people, etc) on the art side, and character distinction and worldbuilding on the writing front!

they're both so so so good i may add more to this list eventually but check these out now if you haven't already!!!

Darlene remains an emotional enigma! Here are some thoughts on Season 3 episode 4!

I think I mostly "get" these characters by this point, even if they do still behave in ways I don't expect, but the exception here is primarily composed of Darlene. Her primary motivation at this point seems to be guilt and attachment, and it makes her act erratically, cf. letting the pickpocket keep her wallet after she retrieves her photograph. I'm glad for the confirmation that Darlene is at least partially yuri though.

I'm a bit irrationally worried they'll try to set her up with Dom, but I think that would be genuinely pretty dumb writing, so I'm not too worried. I have that much faith, you know?

Anyways, the new yorker guy who I can now admit to knowing is named Irving because someone in the show organically called him that*, he's a real smooth operator, talking up Tyrell on his whole being a god thing in lieu of Elliot/Mr Robot's status as a god. Real sneaky bastard!

In terms of dynamism this episode, though, I have to give that award to Angela again. I thought that the whole "getting surrealism'd" thing had taken that out of her, but clearly I was wrong! She doesn't really have the same moral agency she did earlier in the show, but it hasn't actually deprived her of her resourcefulness or scope of action. I especially liked her phone call with Price in this episode.

SHIT DID I FORGET TO MENTION THE LAST EPISODE REVEALED THE FBI GUY WAS A BUG? That happened, and I don't remember if I mentioned it and don't want to go check it. But yeah, if I didn't say it, I'm saying it now, obviously the FBI is compromised.

Right, phone call with Price. So at this point most of our characters are part of the same extended coalition, even if they don't necessarily all know about it, with Whiterose holding most of the cards, so it's interesting to see Angela, as the possessor-of-dynamism of this little dark army-adj faction calling the shots to Price, the most powerful man in every room save one, especially considering Whiterose previously used her possession of Angela against Price! It's quite something!

Tyrell's opinion of Elliot/Mr Robot seems to have changed pretty dramatically when he found out their whole deal, just a right 180 from the homoeroticism of gods to the homoeroticism of bloodletting. I quite like Tyrell as a character, because he certainly fancies himself as very intelligent, but he's really not all that quick on the uptake. I think despite how he postures himself, he's really making the fewest actual choices of any character in this story, and just gets handed from person to person who are all better able to control him than he is himself.

I was pleasantly surprised by Elliot, too. I was a little worried they were setting up to just do Season 2 again by having Elliot believe he is successfully fighting against Mr Robot and establishing an illusion of control before being forcibly removed from that feeling, but no, his plans were actually working until Angela caught on. That's pretty good.

It's still kind of a bummer that Mr Robot being nicer last season turned out to just be a pretext to hide things from Elliot. Oh well.

*basically part of my whole 'feigned ignorance' thing is that sometimes I bump into Mr Robot spoilers on the internet, or look up the names of characters, but if I can't conclusively show that I would know them at the point in the show I'm at, I pretend not to. I also did this with Leon being dark army, because I accidentally found that out in the same episode he appeared.

-Oh fuck, I forgot that Mr. Robot shoots Elliot in the head.

-Oh my god, that’s such a crazy image of Elliot sitting up with a bullet hole in his head and asking Mr. Robot, “You done?”

-Wait, “again”? How many times has he shot you?!

-Okay, who is fucking with the stuff in this lady’s house?

-Darlene, did you fuck with this lady’s house so you could squat in her empty house?

Fallout S1:E8 - The Beginning

Some minor gripes and little details I didn't agree with. It sheds light to some in universe lore that was never talked about. I'm not sure I would introduce certain characters in the finale of a season, but I'm not the writers. Has some action, moves the main plot along in leaps and bounds as compared to other episodes. I think that its a really good end to the season but also a good episode on its own.

I guess they really want to make the BoS very antagonistic. What did they do raze Filly? Typically in game they are more isolationist. Kind of don't fuck with me and I wont fuck with you. They have also made them out to be way more religious then they have ever been portrayed before. It also seems like Maximus is constantly wavering on if he wants to be in the BoS or escape.

More Russian weapons for some odd reason. Yes FO4 added the Handmade Rifle(AK47) but it didn't add things like the RPD or PPSh. I'll give a slight pass to the woman holding the BAR, because it is used as inspiration for the Automatic Rifle(FONV). Nice callback to the ghoul that she saved from the Super Dupermart.

Ok this is another inclusion of Sunset Sarsaparilla, so at this point there has to be an inclusion or mention of the Mojave. Still unsure how there are so many in universe cars in the flashbacks but none apparently survived to the present day. Other than the Mister Handy in the first episode, this Protectron is the only other robot seen in the past.

HOLD THE FUCKING PHONE CALLER! This is the NCR? Then why do the have all these RPDS? No Colt ARs? You're telling me that there are no snipers either? Why do we have a feral ghoul tied as a dinner guest? Oh look so cool that you got a two headed suckling pig. You know that thing that has never existed in the games.

I guess I called it. I've never seen a Robobrain that small. This feels like a joke. This is like a Roomba with a brain in a cloche. MCSCUSE ME?!?!?!?! Is this brain bot thing Bud Askins? DOUBLE MCSCUSE ME!!!!!!!! So we have who I guess is Mr. Robert House[RobCo](Simply because of the appearance), Julia Masters[Repconn](She's really the only talked about female CEO), Fredrick Sinclair[Big MT](The "Freddy-boy" comment from Mr. House) and finally Leon Von Felden[West Tek](he was the head guy on the FEV). I like this they are just rattling off all the actual in game vault experiments that players have experienced. This is interesting, are they implying that Vault-Tec actually let these companies take the lead and they would just foot the bill in order to get support and possibly money? NOW WE ARE REALLY FUCKING WITH CANON!!!!! In the games its meant to be a "we don't know who struck first, but everyone got in a lick" type of situation. Its heavily implied that the Chinese dropped the bombs first. But this doesn't make sense, since there are unfinished vaults. If you had your finger on the button, why push it before you could maximize profits? Also damn Coop, it really be your own sometimes. I hate the de-aging CGI that Hollywood does. I understand that Kyle MacLachlan is older but still. This also explains why The Ghoul reacted the way he did when Lucy said her full name. Hate to be that guy, but technically Moldaver hasn't told Lucy when she is from either. So don't get too high on your horse just yet ma'am. Dammit Dane, here I was thinking you were a standup dude. You really let Maximus take that punishment the whole fucking time.

So Vault-Tec or more specifically Vault 31 had access to bombs and nuked the capital of the NCR? So you've just kept Rose as pet for the last 20 some odd years? That seems equally as fucked up. So is no body gonna notice that Norm is gone? Also Vault-Tec doesn't have any way of getting surface information? Well if Griffith Observatory is the new NCR headquarters, the NCR must be in shambles. Also that is a comically large red dot sight on these mounted guns for no reason. Well The Ghoul is just the consummate badass. How the fuck does Hank just know how to get into and operate power armor? So he is looking for his family. In a classic Lucyism, she seemed more broken up about shooting Martha the ghoul than HER MOTHER THAT IS A GHOUL. Surely leaving unlimited power source in the hands of the BoS will not have any lasting consequences. Ok nice, teasing finally some deathclaw action. Alright well that just seals the deal that the second season is going to be better. But also how the fuck are you going to make a story around New Vegas? Literally the endings vastly change how the strip ends up. I have a bad feeling that we are getting into that retconning or just plain making shit up for the canon of the show.

I'm not surprised they went with a cliffhanger ending. The inclusion of New Vegas is going to make for some interesting lore issues though. I hope they don't try to change established events. Even though this left somethings unanswered, it did answered enough to be a well rounded episode. Its funny how you introduce the NCR and give no context as to who they are or what they do, considering there will be people who have never played the games watching this show.

hi! saw one of your mr robot posts mention hot carla and the book. love love love red wheelbarrow book wondering if you have any thing to share you like from reading it. puzzle fun and seeing burn not actually burn writing but printing words. love love love that! also how elliot / mastermind / how ever he call himself, write about mr robot. good book

I am sad that I did not get a physical copy of the book we listened to the audiobook narrated by a trans actress playing Hot Carla and reading her red ink inserts as asides. She does a phenomenal job, especially in the parts where her commentary is displaying empathy for Elliot's situation.

But as we did not have a physical copy I was unable to participate in the ARG elements of the book but I have seen scans of the puzzles and I appreciate that the show was kind enough to put solutions to some of the ciphers in episode 11 of season 2.

I adored the little things like how Elliot and Mr Robot's handwriting shifted when Elliot was starting to get into a rant during the FUCK SOCIETY pages.

The thing I liked most about the book was just getting a feel for the little nuances of Elliot's prison life. Leon working at the library and getting to learn more about the shows he watched before reaching Sienfeld or having Elliot react to the news of what Darlene and FSociety are doing while he's incarcerated. I understand the Prince of Thieves moment in Time Square could have been expensive to shoot if it were in the show but I do like the color it added to Darlene's character, particularly during her short time as the leader of a misguided revolutionary group.

I also appreciate how much we got to learn about Magda during the book. She is not really featured that much in the show proper. I am pretty sure the imaginary version of her in Elliot's mind (and in the prison) get more screen time and personality than the actual woman herself. The story with the cat really helps paint Darlene's "Moth to the Flame" moment as well as the previous episode's declaration that being kidnapped was her happiest childhood memory.

If I have one complaint though it's that Hot Carla was effectively used as a tool for Elliot's quest for justice and redemption. The only reason it doesn't ruin the book for me is that I respect the absolute terror that went into Elliot giving her the journal to read and the fact that we are reading it by way of Carla's forgiving him for endangering her.

Elliot was an absolute idiot for what he did but Carla found it in her to forgive him despite how horrible the consequences of his noble intentions were. But that's the show in a nutshell, isn't it? Elliot can't action his way out of his problems and outsource them. Season 2 is too early for him to have learned that lesson, though.

I suppose another complaint is that I did not enjoy how juvenile and vulgar Mr Robot was with his drawing dicks all over the journal. I never viewed him as that immature in the show. He's abrasive and an standoffish arsehole for certain but he is not a teenager...

Well. Except in the "child's idea of an adult" kind of way, but I just don't see him being the dicksdicksdicks guy.

I guess it stands out more when the drawings are detailed by Carla describing them.

Anyway, it's a fantastic addition to the show and though it's not mandatory reading by any stretch, it gives us more Leon and lets us see more of Elliot and Mr Robot's inner workings which is always a win in my book.

Books:

The Farthest Shore by Ursula K. Le Guin ; Nothing I say about this book (this series!) can do it justice honestly everyone on the Earth should read Earthsea. like really really read it patiently and intensely and with a savor because you will never encounter reality so closely and clearly ever again. everything about it is real to me but this book particularly struck me just because. well. lebannen. a force undeniable. I didn't know I was capable of loving so deeply and profoundly until I knew him. he is the best. I love you Lebannen 💥💥💥 I love everything about these books honestly. immense grace aside that shit also inspired perhaps the most intense and creatively demanding period of my life & broke down a lot of the mental partitions that I had constructed around what my hands are capable of. And I am still really bobbing through the wake of even now. Hopefully more marvelous things to come. There is much more strength to be drawn from this place yet if I can stomach it. sighs.

Death with Interruptions by José Saramago ; My words are failing me here but like. Saramago's voice and style have become real fixtures for me. I need to read a Saramago at least once every few months or my life loses its musicality. This is where I started with him so it gets to be on the list but Cain is also a great one for many many many more reasons that would be toooo much talking. for me to post.

I feel like by law I have to put Plato's Republic here which like. honestly not the most philosophically valuable work or even my drug of choice these days but was a thirteen year old's first inquest into the field that would become his only scholastic passion. so ! (He didn't even know he would have to read it seven times during his undergrad 😭) but if we want another novel to put here maybe We Need to Talk about Kevin by Lionel Shriver (mostly because of one sequence but also Shriver's great at writing in the voice of wry & cerebral women whose sentimentality is kind of shielded by their overt insight it gives them real internal lushness).

Honorable mention also to Isaac Asimov's I, Robot and subsequent novels of Asimov's future chronology which are currently fucking me up beyond measure. My recommendation here is read I, Robot (Or The Complete Robot!) and maaaybe Caves of Steel (tightly written marvel with only forgivable weaknesses of unprobed psychologies) and then stop. Just don't keep going okay. I've also had um Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore still swimming around in my mind despite having finished it a good while ago.

Movies:

Uhhh I don't w.atch. errr. Movies I can think of that I've watched just at all of my own volition: Raw (2016). good experience but didn't move me hugely taboo-pushing which is awesome conceptually but not in the right ways for me idk. not a bad movie at all though definitely some kind of stupid elements at play as well.

Leviticus101st makes a roster for Marvel vs Capcom 4

With the upcoming Marvel vs Capcom collection, a lot of people have been hyped for a Marvel vs Capcom 4 and have been making their dream rosters for it. So I thought I’d do the same. 

I will admit my main inspiration for doing something like this is the YouTuber Thorgi's Arcade, who I do recommend ya check out especially if you're into fighting games.

Also, the reason I've been posting like this lately is because I want to get the Death Battle Kick Starter in front as many eyes as I can. So, that means 30 Mahvel Babies and 30 Capsule Computer Characters.

I’m gonna start with the Capcom Characters, mainly because I want the harder one outta the way first………..Also, I want to get the stupid thing I’m gonna do outta the way.

Capsule Competitors 

Ryu (Street Fighter): No duh. It’s Ryu. Mr. Capcom Fighting Game himself. Ya gotta put him in. However, here’s my stupid plan. Ryu is going to be the only Street Fighter I’m putting on this roster.

Now hear me out, the big joke with Capcom is that they only care about a few of their franchises. Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Monster Hunter. And those jokes are accurate, it really has just been those 3. I want to give Capcom’s other IP’s a chance to shine.

However, as a compromise to this I will be making it so fighters have costumes that make them different characters. Think Echo Fighters from Smash or the costume stuff in NRS games. The only 

For Ryu, his would be Ken, Akuma, and Sakura.

Not every costume fighter will be from the same franchise, but for Ryu, I wanted to be pretty straight forward.

Chris Redfield (Resident Evil): Yeah, I just want to get the obvious ones outta the way. His three costumes will be Leon, Jill, and Claire. 

Monster Hunter…….(Monster Hunter): I guess we could just make the costumes from other outfits from the series.

Alrighty time to get to what I actually want to do.

Dante (Devil May Cry): We’re not quite out of obvious ones yet. 

Vergil (Devil May Cry): No dur.

Nero (Devil May Cry): I haven’t talked about how any character would play yet, since all the ones i talked about so far are returning. I feel like Nero would probably hit harder than Dante, but be a bit slower. Maybe more moves featuring his robot hand.

The Arisen (Dragon’s Dogma): All I know about Dragon’s Dogma is that the theme song slaps and The Arisen is a CAC, just make them an all rounder.

Soh (Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess): The game looks cool, so I wanted to include the MC. Give her the multiple mask stuff and let her call out the villagers. Frank West (Dead Rising): The Dead Rising Remake is on the way. It makes sense to include Frankey Westey. Also, we could make his costumes the other Dead Rising protags.

Regina (Dino Crisis): I saw the polls. Of course she’s gotta be in here. Make her all about gunplay and maybe let her ultimate have a dinosaur come outta nowhere. Costume: Ada Wong

Strider……(Strider): The vs games are all he’s got man. Costumes: Kenji, Ronin, and Ibuki

Fiona Belli (Haunting Ground): Make her dog Hewie do most of the attack and she can use running away from the villains from her game as specials and ults and such.

Hagar (Final Fight): Another no duh one honestly. Costume: Zangief

Phoenix Wright (Ace Attorney): I am convinced the only reason he wasn’t in Infinite was budget. Costumes: Apollo Justice and Ryunosuke Naruhodo.

Miles Edgeworth (Ace Attorney): I just thought it was a good idea. Costumes: Franziska von Karma, Godot, and Manfred von Karma

Steve Spencer (Bionic Commando): The vs games are all he’s got man.

Sissel (Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective): Give him some ghost power and objects and stuff and bam.

Mega Man…..uh forget it, yall get the jist (Mega Man): A have to have in here. We can give him costumes for Protoman, Bass, and Roll.

Mega Man X (Mega Man): He’s got to be here vs games are all us Mega Man fans got aside from the collections. Also, we make his alternate skins Megaman.exe, Starforce Megaman, and Volnutt. 

Zero (Mega Man): Competitive players would lose their shit if he wasn’t here. Also, costumes will be MegaMan Zero, Omega, and uh…..OH! Ciel! We’ll go with Ciel.

William Grey (Dark Void): Uhhhhh. Look, I just wanted a variety of fighters okay? I don’t know a damn thing about Dark Void. Uhhh hang on here….He uses high tech gun shit and a jetpack. Just make that into a fighting game character. 

Samanoska Akechi (Onimusha): He’s a cool sword fighter. Leave me alone.

Tiffany Lords (Rival Schools): Rival Schools needs a W man, also I didn’t want to just Akira……..Actually ya know what?

Akira Kazama (Rival Schools): She’s basically the icon of this franchise. Costume: Mai Ling

Ran Hibiki (Rival Schools): Real talk, I’m choosing her because Superhero comics love their photographers. Costume: JJJ

Pyron (Darkstalkers): It’s a Capcom crossover. Darkstalkers needs to be here and Pyron was the big bad of the first 2 games, he needs to be in a big crossover.

Morrigan (Darkstalkers): No dur.

Edward Falcon (Power Stone): I just love this dude’s look okay.

Valgas (Power Stone): I need to start getting more villains. And this dude is just a wrestler with a power gem, he’s perfect.

Dr. Edward Bilstein (Star Gladiator): This dude is literally Darth Vader. Why would you not want this? Costume: Sigma

NOW FOR THE LESS BORING PART

Kamala Khan: WHY WASN”T SHE IN INFINITE?! MY DAUGHTER DESERVES IT! That aside, I feel this one is obvious. Have her be a good range character with a bit of rush down. Kamala’s powers are insanely versatile and I think that’s the best way to implement them into a fitting game.

Morph: Just a heads up, I’m going to be referring to Morph here with They/Them pronouns, while to my knowledge they don’t have this gender identity in the books, I just think it’s good to have more nonbinary rep out there. Also, X Men 97 is goated and Morph is also goated there…..watch X-Men 97.

With that addressed, I want to use Morph because their shape shifting would allow for the appearance of characters we couldn’t put in the roster. And I know that’s possible, because that’s what X-Men 97 did with Morph, have them turn into characters they couldn’t fit into the story for cool references and cameos.

Costume: Axl (Mega Man)

Shang-Chi: The movie is goated. Just give him Iron Fist’s moveset. Costumes: Iron Fist, Chun-Li (SF), and Juri(SF).

Mr. Fantastic: Wow, we really have not gotten the FF into any of these games. Like I know Super Skrull is there, but it's still weird. I’d say make him an opposite to Kamala, make him a bit of a grappler with a bit more strength, but slower.

Invisible Woman: It’s gosh diddly darn Sue Storm, of course she’s on here. I say make her a zoner, that feels appropriate with her power set.

The Thing: Grappler. Wow FF has two grappler’s, I wonder if we’ll have two zoners. Costumes: Mr. X (RE), She-Hulk, and William Birkin (RE).

Human Torch: HOLY SHIT WE DO HAVE TWO ZONERS!

DareDevil: Have him use those sticks he throws as projectiles and him be an up close fighter. Also, when he blocks, have him dodge. Costumes: Elektra, Black Widow, and Ada Wong (RE)

Luke Cage: Make him like Scorpion, have him use his chain to bring opponents to him and have him be able to bring the smack down with good defense and heavy, but slow hits.

Vision: Have him be another zoner, his phasing and flight to get distance, and his laser to blast the foe.

Carnage: Rush down. This feels so obvious honestly. Costumes: Venom, Scream, and Mania

Blade: All rounder with his good amount of weapons. Costume: Donovan (Darkstalkers)

Scarlet Witch: Know Asuka from Guilty Gear. Yeah, just make Wanda do that. Costume: Tessa (Red Earth)

Loki: Trickster, technical fighter.

Kingpin: Slow heavy hitter, but what I wanted Kingpin on here because of an idea I had. Have his supers and ranged attacks be lower tier marvel villains. Costume: Red (Mega Man)

A/n: I am only on season two episode five, so, this may be inaccurate considering how Elliot may develop in later seasons

You'd probably have to meet through a mutual friend [Ex: Angela], and he took an unexpected interest to you. Ollie was quite obviously never Elliot's cup of tea, so, you could imagine Angela's surprise when he seems to be positively interested in you.

You were waiting outside of Allsafe for Angela since you were her ride when she suddenly walks out with a man in a black hoodie. He seems shy is what you tell yourself. He seems skittish and doesn't hold much eye contact but neither do you. Considering the fact that you want to make him feel welcomed and not shunned out, you greet him and he answers with a "hi."

Angela inevitably ends up teasing him for how intrigued he seems by you. When he rejects Ollie's offer to dinner, Ollie says, "maybe we'd have a greater chance if y/n came along." Angela nudges him with her elbow since he just now exposed the fact that she tells him about Elliot's untold feelings.

Inevitably, his feelings lead to him hacking you which opens up a whole different door to him. He figures out your music taste, how emotional that one episode of a specific tv show made you, those closest to you, your pets, celebrity crushes, etc. I have no need to go on.

He ends up talking to the special one in his head about you. How he can't believe that one specific friend treated you the way they did (even if it was only once).

"They treat her as less than the shit underneath their shoe, I know you may be getting tired of me talking about her but you may as well get used to it. You lied to me after all, this is the least you could do."

But don't you worry your pretty little head about it, he doesn't let your unneeded friend go unharmed, even if not physically. Elliot releases every single thing that a person wouldn't want anyone to have their eyes on. He sends the shameful findings to you and those around your grimy little "friend".

"I know this may seem over the top but it's something I have to do."

The ghost of his father eventually finds out because, Mr Robot is basically embedded inside of Elliot's existence. Edward criticizes him about how protective he is of you and how he wastes no time in defending your honor, even through hacking someone.

"There are people out there that need our help and you're here doing this for someone that knows nothing about this little habit of yours." Elliot pays no mind to his words since his father can't even be seen those around them and feels overly entitled to things, specifically, Elliot's attention.

He talks to his friend about how difficult it will be for him to move away from home and it's that of his mother's, because he's just moving away from you. There's no way for him to even look through your webcam. Though, you're smart. He only got to look through it once before he looked again a week later and the camera was covered.

Aside from that, moving in with mommy dearest still means he won't be able to see you, no matter how he goes about it. Elliot would still make an effort to go when he's invited by Angela somewhere if he hears that you're going to make an appearance. The two of you would make great conversation and he would even bring up the media he's interested in.

Coincidentally, youre also interested in the topics, but, that's why he said it. He knows his way inside of your mind already.

Elliot isn't really the type to make conversation but he is that way with you. You even get him to get that three-pointed smile on his face. That's just your affect.

Anyway, back to his mother's house.

Remember the time Leon gave him the whole:

"Do you ever dream, Elliot?" Speech (?)

When he went back to his mother's house that night, he saw you in his futuristic dream. A future filled with long lost friends, family, those he never imagined getting close to and seeing the ones he loves ending up happy.

Just before Elliot awakes, his dream has one last thing that it wants him to see. There you are, in all of your glory, sat in the seat right infront of him. Despite the long distance between you and him, he's still as happy as ever.

You're in his ideal future.

He'll make sure you stay, there's a wound inside of Elliot that'll only heal with your stitches.

Thoughts for Ejen Ali S3

This is just a few thoughts i had in mind after watching the trailer and the official debut episode of s3. Anyways, first of all, i want to say that it was good to finally have ejen ali series back. I've been dying waiting for it to come!

PREDICTIONS:

The international agents are going to sabotage other agents during the Arena tournament *they're good for now*

Jenny/Cinco will invent a technology that provides her enough skills to go into combat (my idea is that the technology invented is similar to the microbots Hiro Hamada created in Big Hero 6) *this was proven in ep3. I forgot those things existed in s2. Those are named microbugs and formerly controlled by Ocho before it died*

Chris isn't going to make much appearance due to his injury (but i hope Leon is wrong and he can recover asap)

Sam will become a sympathetic antagonist with sad backstory *proven in ep5*

Alicia's slingshot will get an upgrade, probably it can extend into a bow *proven in ep3*

Introduction of PROJEK SATRIA for Ali to replace IRIS

Rizwan comeback as MATA agent (if not, then he's still on the good side)

Khai's robot, R-O is going to get an upgrade into a destructive, weapon suit *actually it's Khai's evil mode, aka No More Mr Naisu Khai Mode made by Khai himself, proven in ep4*

HOPES:

Ali and Rudy will mfkin kick Sam's ass.

Nobody among the agents will be terminated from their positions. *Moon, Jet and Bulat kinda got eliminated so I'm afraid it's going to get bad*

Zass and others' backstory to be revealed.

They stop saying Ali is useless because i hate to see him sad.

I hope Dato Hisham is better than Dato Othman and will replace him as the mayor and MATA owner. *he's kinda suspicious ngl, I didn't trust him*

I want to know Numeros members' backstory especially Seis and Siete.

I also have several questions. Like:

Who's going to replace Zain and Djin as Neuro and Inviso Pillar Leaders?

Does Aleks don't talk like Zass since there's no voice actor of his in the voice cast list? *Aleks do talk! Made his voice debut in Episode 4*

How MATA have agents outside of Cyberaya? Political alliance with other countries?

Does Zass truly physically disable (mute) or just didn't like to talk?

Lost n Found (Kuzusouda fic)

   Fuyuhiko couldn't find Kazuichi that day. He was no where to be seen. Which was unusual for his boyfriend, the taller male would want to follow the other like a lost puppy most of the time, often showing up at Fuyuhiko's dorm door when he's not working in his room or the shop the school has for his talent.

   "Peko, have you seen Kaz? I haven't seen him all day and he won't answer my texts." Fuyuhiko had almost startled Peko mid practice with the question. He had been sitting watching his sibling as they trained but hadn't brought up his reasoning to be around Peko so much that day. Peko knew he had a lot on his mind though.

   The silver haired one set down their bamboo sword, "My apologizes but I have not. Have you asked Ibuki or maybe Leon from the 78th class?" Fuyuhiko shook his head.

   "I'll go find them and maybe ask around on the way, thanks Peko." Peko nodded, "Just keep me updated."

   Fuyuhiko passed by many in the hallways on his way to where Ibuki usually would hang around. The hall monitor with crimson eyes, a short female with blonde hair along side a taller female being a shy stutter bug as usual, even the robot and his detective boyfriend but none would be Kazuichi.

   Entering the dimly light music room, the Yakuza already knew Ibuki was in here from the sound of her odd music filling his ears. He saw a swift figure on the stage and another still frame sitting in a chair in front of the bold stage. Fuyuhiko flicked on the lights to illuminate the rest of the music room.

   "AH! Who turned on the sun!" The music's cut was unpleasant and there was a sight of Ibuki rubbed their eyes with the palms of her hand. The other female was Miu Iruma who, coincidently, was another one of Kazuichi's friends. She also rubbed her eyes to adjust to the sudden burst of light.

   "My bad, I just came to ask a quick question." Fuyuhiko didn't plan on staying long as he leaned against the door frame.

   "Ooohhh Mr. Yakuza coming to ask a question! Well spill away virgin!" Miu's mascara was smudged due to her frequent eye rubbing, and if it wasnt for the comment, Fuyuhiko would have actually told her.

   "Have either of you seen Kazuichi at all today? I haven't been able to find him."

   Ibuki put a finger to her chin to insinuate they were thinking, "Oh- Ibuki is sorry! They haven't seen Kazuichi since dinner yesterday!"

   Miu also tried giving it a thought, Fuyuhiko had no faith she knew something until she said, "Nah I haven't seen the twerp today but I saw him talking to Leon yesterday before the nighttime announcement. Don't know what they were talking about or if you knew."

   Fuyuhiko didn't know, but It's almost confirmed now Leon had been the last to see Kazuichi. The Yakuza gave Kazuichi a goodnight kiss a little after dinner because he was going to bed early. Fuyuhiko thanked the two and turned back off the lights. He knew he needed to find Leon soon.

   The blonde first peered outside a window from the second floor at a good spot to where Leon would be practicing baseball. To no avail, Fuyuhiko instead tried to remember people other than Kazuichi, Leon surrounds himself with. He sooned realized the hall monitor he saw earlier was seen around Leon sometimes. Fuyuhiko rushed back down to the first floor to find the man, he quickly sped walked throughout the hallways, peeking into classrooms to make sure he wasn't in any. Turning the corner sharply, he began to pick up his pace, he didn't know when his heart began to race but his thoughts were soon torn from him as he heard a loud,

   "Slow down!! You cannot run in the halls!!"

   Fuyuhiko stopped instantly and whipped around and was faced to face with the who he was looking for at the time, Kiyotaka Ishimaru.

   "I was looking for you that's why!"

   "You ran in the halls to come find me? You could have done the same thing without running!" Kiyotaka shot.

   The Yakuza rolled his eyes, "Whatever, have you seen Leon? I need to talk to him."

   Kiyotaka tapped his foot, he obviously knew something, "This will not turn into a fight will it? I will not inform you about Leon's whereabouts if you're out to get physical!"

   Fuyuhiko was getting frustrated already with the taller man, as he always did, "No you idiot! I'm just trying to find my fucking boyfriend!"

   "Kazuichi? The one with the garish outfits?!"

   "Yeah that would be him." Fuyuhiko huffed. Taka let out a big laugh as he always does, "Ah! You should have just said so! Leon is with chihiro in the greenhouse! Chihiro may not be there anymore though.." Fuyuhiko let out a sigh of relief and mumbled a slight thank you. Before Kiyotaka could say anything, the blonde bolted up the stairs as fast as he could.

   He didn't notice how much he had started to worry about Kazuichi, even though it wasn't like him to go a whole day without talking or even seeing Fuyuhiko, Kazuichi has disappeared a couple times after being mad at his boyfriend. Though, Fuyuhiko couldn't recall him ever doing anything to piss off or upset the pink haired man recently. Maybe Kazuichi was instead having a bad day, wanting to be left alone and deal with whatever it was by himself. That wasn't uncommon for him either.

   What broke Fuyuhiko out of his thoughts this time was a tap on his shoulder. He hadn't even made it into the greenhouse so the sight of Leon Kuwata was a surprise as he turned around.

   Leon rubbed the back of his neck, "Man I knew you'd come looking for me. Can't find Kazuichi can you?"

   "Don't make it sound so fucking ominous! Just tell me where he is!" Fuyuhiko barked, clamping his fists shut.

   Leon took a step back, "Wow chill man! He's in the greenhouse but he told me to guard it for him so no one will go in to bother him,, but he doesn't seem too good so if he gets pissed you got in just tell him to blame it on me." Leon shuffled over to unlock the doors to the greenhouse, "He really needs you, man. Even if he doesn't admit it."

   Fuyuhiko took a peek inside the greenhouse and looked back towards Leon, "Thanks." Leon nodded and shut the door behind the blonde.

   The Yakuza didn't see anyone at first but as he began turned the corner of the giant plants stationed in the middle of the greenhouse, he heard a small sniffle. He stopped, and peer around the corner and there he was. Kazuichi Souda.

   Leon was right when he said Kazuichi didn't seem too good. Kazuichi's back was facing where Fuyuhiko stood, but the sight was just....sad. His beanie was across from him, assumed to be thrown with how disheveled it looked, his slouch from sitting on the floor was worse than usual, his hair seemed unkempt and tattered, not even his jumpsuit was tied in the front like he would always do when he was too hot, it was instead displayed across the cold floor. The most noticeable feature of disarray from Kazuichi, was the small sobs and whimpers that left him. Fuyuhiko knew he couldn't leave Kazuichi alone like this.

   "Kaz?" Fuyuhiko's voice was calm and quiet but Kazuichi still jumped and whipped around. Kazuichi didn't even get to respond as a hoard of tears streamed down his face and he ran to hug Fuyuhiko. The vaster sobbed into his boyfriend's shoulder. Fuyuhiko wrapped his arms around Kazuichi and began to rub his back, trying to calm him with light "Shh"s and "It's okay"s.

   The blonde was able to set Kazuichi in his lap, on the rough floor once again as his lover began to calm down. Fuyuhiko tried his best to brush and play with Kazuichi's hair without accidentally pulling at it and disturbing the boy. He used his other hand to rub soothing circles around Kazuichi's back under his tank top.

   "You wanna talk about it?" The blonde whispered, still holding Kazuichi close to him. Fuyuhiko saw the tears fall from Kazuichi's eyes as he blinked tears away, he waited for a response with patience.

   He soon felt the pink haired boy shift and sit up, wiping his tears from his eyes and shaking his head, "Not...not right now.." He avoided eye contact with his lover.

   Fuyuhiko nodded, "Whenever you're ready to talk I'm here to listen, Babe." He placed a kiss on Kazuichi's cheek, "I love you."

   "Thank you..I love you too.."

When Gwen became queen, she decided that they could get a different servant to wake them up so as to let merlin sleep in. George is an early bird, so he is happy to wake them up most mornings (except in special circumstances like birthdays or whatever, then merlin will surprise them with breakfast in bed)

Lancelot was young when bandits killed his family/village, and spent most of childhood and formative years on the streets as an orphan

Gwaine is pan

Sometimes, merlin will use his animation magic to bring balinors dragon statue to life. He'll sit there in his room, watching it eagerly fly in circles overhead. He named it Flappy

As an extension of the previous point, Merlin is really bad at naming things. The name "aithusa" only came to him bc of dragonlord magic. For example, upon catching/killing a rat in arthurs chambers, he named it "Ratravaine"

Gwen, on the other hand, spends a whole day nervously agonizing over what to name something. Elyan caught a caterpillar and asked Gwen what it should be called, but this only drew her into a week-long crisis. By the time she decided on the name "Wilbur", Elyan had already released it back into the wild

Ygraine and Nimueh definitely had a gay thing back in their teenage years, and ygraine was definitely bi, and nimueh definitely used to tease uther about how she hecked his wife before he did

Arthur is a dog person

Percival is afraid of deep water and also doesnt know how to swim. But after elyans lake funeral, percival became determined to learn - perhaps it was merely a coincidence, or perhaps out of some morbid desire to one day wade out into the lake and feel closer to his fallen friend

Arthurs love language is gift giving. Gwaine, leon, and lancelot are acts of service. Merlin and Gwen are words of affirmation. Percival is quality time. Elyan is physical touch

Post season 3, Morgana grew to hate flowers because they reminded her too much or Gwen, but could never bring herself to crush/destroy them

Arthur has a lactose intolerance, but since no one knew what that was back then, no one thought to tell him to stop eating dairy

Pre-canon, Gwaine and Tristan/Isolde worked together on some smuggling gigs

Gwen, Merlin, and Arthur meet up with Tristan to visit Isolde's grave and pay their respects once a year

Tristan turned down Arthurs offer of knighthood, but does come to help out whenever they need it. He makes no secret that merlin is his favorite

Theres this one noble who used to bully servants, even bullied gwen and Merlin. So when gwen became queen, thereby outranking the noble, she was all "ooooh ive been waiting a long time for this" and gave up half of the noble's land to the nearby villages. Merlin wouldve preferred she punch that bastard in the nose, but she insists this way is much more effective (it is)

Between the stone dog, the dragon in the flames spell, and the horse in the smoke spell, Merlins favorite type of magic is animation magic. He likes bringing things to life, bc for just a moment those magical constructs make him feel the tiniest bit less alone

Merlin has very faint freckles that only pop out when he spends long periods of time in the sun. Incidentally, these freckles also glow gold when he uses magic

Smokey brand Movie Reviews: I’m Your Huckleberry

I don’t like Westerns. I was born in the Eighties so i missed their heyday. With the exception of, like, Tombstone, the True Grit remake, and The Hateful Eight, i tend to shy away from them. When i was young, my uncle was super into the genre and always made me watch them instead of my Saturday morning cartoons. Grade School Smokey was forced to watch John f*cking Wayne be a dick to some indigenous, female, or minority, for two hours or more, instead of enjoying my transforming robots or humanoid dinosaur shenanigans. The entire genre has been tainted for me ever since. I bring this up because The Harder They Fall is out and everyone keeps telling me how goddamn dope it. The principal cast is Black as f*ck and just as dope to boot. The director has a very specific, stylized vision, a la Edgar Wright or James Gunn. I'm told the soundtrack is orgasmic, too. Throw all of that sh*t into a blender, and i should love it. But it’s a f*cking Western and i hate these motherf*ckers After getting blasted by people i know for my hesitancy, I've opted to check this thing out instead of Night teeth. Will Idris Elba and Johnathan Majors generally awesome performances, distract me enough from my contempt and make it worth watching their dust drenched, sepia toned, misadventures, over Debby Ryan and Megan Fox as violent gangster Vampires? Let’s see!

The Good

I am immediately struck by how gorgeous the shot composition is in this thing. The way sh*t is framed, the cinematography, the way certain scenes are boxed; Outstanding! One of the reason i don’t care for Western is how pedestrian the genre is usually shot but this thing make the most of that earthy backdrop.

The score and soundtrack is beautiful. Music is a huge part of cinema and you have to nail that sh*t in order to make a really exceptional movie. The Harder They Fall does just that. The combination of a traditional film score and hip hop, framing a film about Black outlaws, was a match made in heaven. This sh*t feels like a no-brainer and i don’t understand why it took so long to happen. It makes sense because the cat in charge of the music, Jeymes Samuel, is literally a music producer. He’s also everything to this movie.

One of the Westerns i mentioned earlier that i actually liked was The Hateful 8, a film by Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino has a very distinct way about how he constructs his movies. The Harder They Fall lines up with that signature perfectly but makes it something very distinct. I’m talking fast, kinetic, charismatic, and bloody f*cking violent. That opening scene immediately won me over and to see the same vibe carry through the entirety of the run time was a real surprise. And, as if that wasn’t impressive enough, this thing does a wonderful job paying homage to those those old school, Sergio Leone, spaghetti westerns. That is testament to the director’s unassailable vision who, surprise-surprise, is Jeymes Samuel! You’ll find that he has his hands all over this thing because...

He wrote the motherf*cker, too! That’s right, Jeymes Samuel was in charge of music, direction, AND writing. You know i love an auteur. Singular vision is best when crafting art like this. He worked on both story and screenplay. It’s a legit passion project and i love the fact Netflix backed him for this film. That said, as far as story, it’s your run-of-the-mill Western revenge narrative. If you’ve seen as many of these thing as i have, you’ve seen this movie before. a few times. However, the devil is in the details and those details really shine through on the screenplay end. A lot of the dialogue sounds great and the overall character interactions feel authentic. This flick has to have a solid f*cking script to work from to be this coherent.

As strong as all those elements Jeymes Samuel had a hand in, i have to say, the editing was just as exceptional. Mr. Samuel didn’t partake in this aspect of the film, first time director so i get it, but he had a solid cat in Tom Eagles to fill in Dude’s resume is unassailable. Solid f*cking work constructing this movie, for sure. The way some of the violence has been cut is a little wonky but i imagine that was more an execute decision. We can’t all be as gratuitous with the gore as Tarantino, especially not when the director you’re working for is a first-timer.

As strong as this film is on a technical level, it would be nothing without a strong f*cking cast and The Harder They Fall has one of the strongest I've ever seen put to film. You already know i adore Lakeith Stanfield and he definitely delivers as Cherokee Bill. Mad Doc Holiday vibes. Regina King also comes through and gives real life to Trudy Smith. It was funny as sh*t seeing Delroy Lindo as Bass Reeves, the actual, real life, historical, Lone Ranger and RJ Cyler’s Jim Beckwourth was surprisingly entertaining. The rest of the cast; Zazie Beetz, Danielle Deadwyler, Edi Gathegi, Deon Cole, Damon Wayans Jr., and DeWanda Wise, were all dope just kind of outshined by the aforementioned cats and definitely by the two leads; Idris Elba and Johnathan Majors.

Johnathan Majors is fast becoming one of my favorite actors working today. I thought he was the strongest positive in Lovecraft Country and then turned in an AMAZING Immortus in the Loki series. I don’t care what anyone says, that was Immortus and I'll take that sh*t to the grave! He doesn’t have a ton of credits to this point but his version of Nat Turner is one of his strongest. I was absolutely captivated by the way he approached the character. It’s so different from Atticus or Kang but with just as powerful a screen presence.

Idris Elba as an antagonist is rare but i love it when it happens. Mans swagger just oozes all over these morally ambiguous characters and really gives them gravitas. He doesn’t do much in this flick but his Rufus Buck is definitely the point of conflict. He has some pretty exceptional scenes and demonstrates his considerable ability but I'm always left wanting. It’s not a bad thing, mind you, it adds to the ominous are around the character, but Elba steals every scene that he’s in. You definitely want more of that. See? The wanting.

The Meh

This run time is a little excessive. The film is definitely paced well but I’m sitting here at an hour and change with an hour to go? Really? Bro, i love cinema, and this is great f*cking cinema, Western be damned, but you are asking a lot of anyone to sit in place for over two hours. Especially when the principal actors in said over two hours, are all Black. The fact that this thing was released at all is kind of a miracle but this run time is mad daunting.

The Bad

The character assassination of Stagecoach Mary is pretty f*cked up. Black Mary, as she was also known during her time, was a total bad ass who was the first African-American female star-route mail carrier in the United States. If you know anything about the wild west, you know that sh*t is mad dangerous. Bandits and whatnot were constantly trying to rob you and Mary never missed a delivery. Ma was fearless and absolutely every bit the warrior any of these other characters were in this movie. The fact that she was relegated to damsel-in-distress in direct contrast to her actual, heroic, nature, is a f*cking crime.

The Verdict

The Harder They Fall is a very good movie. Stifling my Western bias, i am hard pressed to find flaws with this production. Everything is on point. The direction, music, editing, writing, cinematography, shot composition; It’s a f*cking near perfect film. This thing i an absolute miracle of an introduction from music producer turned newbie filmmaker, Jeymes Samuel. This man put together something special and, to carry this absolute wonder, the perfect cat was brought together. There are no poor performances in this thing at all. Everyone comes though and shines, particularly Johnathan Majors and Idris Elba. I was properly surprised by how much i enjoyed this flick because i absolutely abhor Westerns. That said, it’s a little long in the tooth and the way they do Black Mary is atrocious. Other than that, I'd say it’s one of the best movies I've seen all year and deserves all of the praise it’s got. It’s a Netflix release so it’s available right now. Definitely give this thing a watch if you got nothing better for a little over two hours. All and all, I have to say, The Harder They Fall absolutely overcame my hate for Westerns and proved to be a solid choice over vampire Megan Fox.

What an ending to season 2, huh? Some actual commentaries and thoughts on this, under the cut!

The first and most important element of business: this was a Leon episode! I hope he manages to find out what time it is! Go Leon! I support him 100% in all things. He is a man of honour and virtue.

Anyways, it turns out that the suspicion that both Elliot and I had was wrong, and Tyrell (and his firearm) was very much a physical and real person, and the gunshot wound he inflicted upon Elliot was also quite real.

I was told that Mr Robot's role in Elliot's business is as his protector, and I'm a little confused on that point: putting Elliot in a situation with a man who might shoot him seems questionable, though I guess he did do what he could to keep Elliot unaware of things and out of the most direct form of harm.

ADDENDUM: One gunshot is not sufficient to guarantee death; it could be a calculated risk.

Anyways, one of the things I liked about this season is how it set up all its major characters and factions as essentially wings of the same bird. ECorp is run by Price, Price is aligned with Whiterose, Whiterose is collaborating with Tyrell and Mr Robot, and Mr Robot is the enemy of ECorp. As the common link in this chain, I am inclined to suspect that Whiterose is the one who actually stands to gain most from this particular battle.

Angela's clearly in Whiterose's pocket now (on account of the surrealistic business last episode), considering she's collaborating with Tyrell. Unsure why she needs to be the first person Elliot sees when he wakes up. Is this just an effort to maintain control of his emotions, or is there something more here? It's interesting that Tyrell was made to call her though.

Angela sure does get a lot of great man symbolism around her, huh?

Anyways, who the fuck designs an electronics store like that? How can you "put everything back the way it was" at this point?
