That’s the first step towards falling in love, and he’s determined to make sure he follows through each and every step.

Leorio

Honestly, with his busy schedule working at the hospital, he didn’t have much time to cook and clean. Thankfully, you eventually got fed up with eating takeout and living in a messy home, so you took over the cooking and cleaning for your own sanity. When Leorio came home from an especially brutal shift, he nearly cried when he saw the apartment clean and smelled dinner cooking. His little princess was cooking and cleaning, all for him! His guilt from kidnapping you faded away into mushy lovey dovey thoughts as he came up behind you. “Mmm, princess you look like the perfect little house wife right now…”

You can’t help but notice the bulge poking into your ass, his hands wandering around your body. You were very resistant to this at first, being absolutely terrified of him, but with a little ‘gentle’ pushing in the right direction, you were able to become the perfect, reluctant little house wife.

Although you preformed your duties to your best ability, you had never been genuine or happy to do them. He noticed this in the way your eyes looked empty and humiliated when forced to clean up the blood he tracked into your bedroom.

But tonight was different. You were excitedly cooking away in the kitchen, Illumi almost looking… soft when you smiled at him. Were you finally coming around? It took a lot of hard work, but he had finally molded you into a happy, cute little housewife. “Ah… is this my favorite meal? Thank you, it looks delicious…”

He noticed how your face lit up with his praise, the dark haired assassin taking note to use that to his advantage in the future.

He’s a silent sleeper for sure. You could wake up and forget he’s even there.

I think he might be kind of a blanket hoarder, just because he gets cold. He doesn’t mean to, he swears!

Very peaceful. You could watch him sleep for hours, because he’s just a pretty sleeper.

He gets nightmares, sometimes, about everything he’s been through.

Nights like those, the only thing that soothes his pain is being held by you.

On a lighter note, he likes drinking warm tea before he sleeps. It’s a habit he got into when he was in his early teens, and now it’s just instincts.

He always offers to pour you a cup, too.

leorio—

Doesn’t sleep very much due to him being busy studying, but when he does, he’s a mess.

You’ll go to bed cuddling and wake up and he’s on the floor, along with all of the blankets off of the bed.

Speaking of cuddling, he’s huge on having you in his arms. Spooning? Yes. Laying your head on his chest? Of course.

A human heater. It’s nice on those cold winter nights, but in summer.. it can be a bit much.

Snores like a dad.

Goes to bed after you and wakes up before you. He’s naturally more of a morning person, due to school and work.

On the rare occasion he gets to sleep in, he wakes you up by pressing loving little kisses to the crook of your neck.

killua—

Being an assassin and all, he’s expected to be silent and still when he sleeps.

But when he’s around you, he feels a level of comfort that lets him break out of those habits.

He’s a sprawled out sleeper. Takes up over half of the bed when he’s fully relaxed, but you don’t mind much.

Killua doesn’t dream often, but when he does, he mumbles a bit.

You can sometimes hear him say a few words at most. Usually, it’s your or Gon’s name.

Also a clinger, I’d imagine. He just likes to be close to you, so he can protect you! Totally not because he loves the feeling of you in his arms.

Or even, him in your arms. He feels like he’d be a little spoon.

gon—

Naturally, he’s another calm sleeper. He’s still when he sleeps, just because that’s how he’s always slept.

He might snore, but when he does, it’s pretty quiet.

At most, he’d have his arm wrapped around you, but I don’t see him fully clung to you.

You both like your space, and you both don’t need a large amount of physical touch to be happy.

He can fall asleep strangely quickly. It’ll be late at night, and you’re quietly telling him a story about your past.

Look over, and he’s silently slumped over, asleep in minutes.

It’s not that he wasn’t listening, your voice was just so calming that he fell asleep!

When asked about it, he somehow knows the entire story in all of its length, like he was listening in his sleep.

『kurapika would take you to a beautiful restaurant where you first went out on a date and rent the whole place out just so you two could have the place to yourselves. he would wear his very best suit and jewelry and buy you any formal outfit you wanted so you could wear it for tonight. at the restaurant, he’d have the booth where you both sat all decked out in roses (he recruited killua and gon to help decorate, which at least gon was thrilled to do). he’ll order your favorite dish and let you order any dessert you want, while you’re sitting there wondering why he’s being so romantic. kurapika will go on and on about how stunning you look and reminisce about your first date with his face aglow, then getting distracted talking about how he felt when he first met you and talking about all of your good and bad memories together, detailing how much of a dark place he was in before meeting you. and how imagine him just reaching over and putting a rose in your hair all tender and shit, and brushing your hair from your face as he does. then he’ll get up from the booth sort of abruptly, probably, making you wonder where he’s going- at least until he kneels down in front of you, his eyes locked on yours. when Kurapika opens his mouth to speak, his voice is slightly quivery, but his words are absolute.

“my love… will you marry me?”

he’s visibly nervous, but kurapika doesn’t waver. and when you say yes with the biggest smile on your face, it’s like all the tension just evaporates from his body. he kind of pauses, like caught off guard that you said yes, and then he’ll just take you into his arms, dropping the ring on the floor as he does. Kurapika finally feels like he’s getting a new start and another family, and he absolutely could not be happier.』ღ

✧*̥˚ does it fully on the spur of the moment. unlike kurapika, who meticulously planned every detail and got his ring specially engraved, leorio is not at all prepared for a proper proposal (whoa tongue twister). you two are probably just on a regular old date while he’s just completely lost thinking about how stunning you are, how perfect for him you are, and how much he just adores being around you, how you accept his flaws , and how you don’t judge him based on past decisions. leorio’s completely lost track of time while you’re just awkwardly sitting there wondering why he’s looking at you like that with shiny doe eyes and next thing he knows he’s on one knee, stumbling through his words, but you understand.

“look, i know this is kind of on a whim and i don’t have a ring or anything- i swear i’ll get one- but you make me really happy and you’d make me even happier if you’d marry me.”

you’re absolutely stunned into silence, gaping and heart pounding- but leorio isn’t having it. “look, will you say yes already, damn it?!”

you burst into laughter and manage a yes through your giggles as leorio realizes that was probably a completely inappropriate outburst given that he was trying to propose to you. to tell the truth, though, you really don’t mind. <33 *̥˚✧

let me tell you that hisoka does not marry because he wants someone to love or because he genuinely loves you. he marries for possession. you two are probably not doing anything special, maybe just walking down the street or something when, let’s say you encounter an old friend who you haven’t seen in a while. obviously you’re happy to see them, so you ask hisoka to wait and you two just chat and are clearly having a good time catching up when hisoka abruptly cuts you off, telling your friend rather coldly that you both need to go. so you’re forced to say a rushed goodbye. later that night, you ask hisoka about what happened, and he tells you darkly that you were being overly “friendly” earlier ❀✿＊*

ᥫ᭡ the “proposal” will hardly be a question. hisoka also doesn’t bother with any sentiment. he simply realizes that he doesn’t want anyone else to touch you or be with you, sort of like that one time he got angry with illumi for saying that he would kill gon at the hunter exam, but not in a fighting way, in an actual possessive “love” type way. he tells you that you’ll simply have no choice but to marry him because it’s the only way he can keep you to himself. hisoka won’t care much whether you like it or not.

“mmm… now we can’t just have people coming up to you left and right, now, can we? you’ll just have to marry me, i suppose- it’ll be a surefire way to keep you all to myself, sweetheart.”

🕰💚📺🍀⛪️ chrollo may be the ruthless leader of the most feared group of murderous thieves in the world- but when it comes to romance, he just melts. with all the literature he reads, he can’t help but be a hopeless romantic- he believes in fairy tales, love at first sight, everything. so when he finally decides he wants to marry you, he doesn’t take it lightly- he plans literal months in advance.

chrollo will book a vacation spot for you two far away, where you two will be all alone in a cottage in a beautiful field filled with trees and other foliage. flowers are a classic but romantic way to show someone you love them, so this will be where he’ll propose. he’ll surprise you with the plane tickets one night, maybe just before bed, so you’ll have something to look forward to in the morning.

the day chrollo proposes will be the same date as the day you first met. that morning, you’ll wake up alone in your vacation cottage, wondering where chrollo went and why he didn’t inform you that he was going out. at first, you think maybe his duties as a spider called for him, but then you remember that he was the one who booked this vacation, and it would be highly unlikely he’d leave you for something like that. so now you’re even more perplexed- and it only adds to your confusion when you find a red dress on the nightstand beside the bed with a scribbled note telling you to wear it. it’s a new dress, one you’ve never seen before, so you assume chrollo must have gotten it for you.

after getting dressed, you step out the door, wondering if maybe you can find chrollo wandering in the field so where- it wasn’t uncommon for you to discover him alone in the mornings with a thoughtful expression on his face, staring into nothing. but you don’t see chrollo. instead, you almost step on a dark red rose- and as you move out of its way, you nearly step on a second one. confused, you finally look up and see a long trail of roses stretching all throughout the field from the door of the cottage. it’s a very irregular trail, the flowers zigzagging all over the place and only staying in straight lines for a little while. clearly, they were arranged there, waiting for you to follow them. so follow you did- the same trail of vibrant red roses throughout the whole field. while following the roses, you notice a growing number of pure white flowers surrounding the roses- petunias, daisies, lilies, and even white roses- creating such an obvious contrast you know for sure now chrollo has something planned. however, you can’t deny that the sight is absolutely stunning.

after much walking, you finally reach the end of the trail, at which sits a very tall, thick tree, white flowers flowing from its branches. at the foot of the tree is chrollo, standing there with his face aglow and in a white suit. behind him, clinging to the tree’s trunk is a ladder, nailed to the bark. when you ask what’s going on, chrollo simply asks you to follow him up the ladder. despite your apprehension about the stability of the ladder, you join him in climbing up, jokingly telling him that the dress he for you isn’t quite suited for tree-climbing. he tells you to just wait.

you two finally reach the top, and in the thick branches there is a gathering of vines- thick enough to hold you both. chrollo helps you into the bundle of plants; it’s almost like a bowl; and with a beaming smile he asks you to look out over the field you just crossed. wondering what in the world he is up to, you oblige- and finally see that the trail of roses you followed across the field spells out “will you marry me?”

when you turn back around in complete shock to stare at chrollo, he’s on one knee with a hopeful, genuine smile on his face, and he simply asks you the same question the roses spell out for you. needless to say, it’s a yes from you. 🍃🍂🌳🕸🪦

You who were always the master of your destiny, it's as if something happened that day when you met him. Something out of your splendid reach

At this time, you left your village and your family to apply for the Hunter exam ( no joke I wrote Chünin 😂 )

You were peacefully running your first 80km in the first trial when you heard two young voices chuckling. You slightly picks up your pace to join them at their level

Once there you were kinda dumbfounded to see such young boys take part in an exam that is reputed to be so difficult. You watched them for a moment - with no ulterior motive like Hisoka - one dressed in green and carrying a fishing rod, and the other with white hair on a skateboard - ingenious but not flashy enough as running and showing off his stamina in tough times

Then your attention turned to the subject of their laughter. You smiled brightly when you saw your little mice running along. Many disappointing candidates had given up, but they were still as brave as ever

"How do simple smiles manage to run such a distance?" said the boy on the board.

"In any case, they certainly deserve their place" said the cheerful one

"Careful what you say they're not just mice" your voice boomed behind them, making both heads turn while you were still running "They're Shino Buff Mice but you can call them Ninjus" you said proudly. It was Tengen, your brother who insisted that you take the mice who work for him with you, just in case

"It's truly extraordinary !" the black haired boy spoke, sounding fascinated. And you didn't mind, at least someone appreciated the family's magnificence

"And how old are you, anyway ?" spoke to his comrade. You looked at him incredulously before giving him your age, almost equal to your long years of hard training ( let's just say you're an adult because Irumi is 24 😭 )

After that moment, you went on to befriend the two boys and the two others they'd met. You formed a fine team and everyone saw you more or less as a big sister to lean on. Frankly, you really enjoyed showing them what you were capable of and what you could contribute

The two boys were very fond of you, seeing in you a member of their family they hadn't known before

So it was without a second thought that you followed Gon, Leorio and Kurapika towards Kukuroo Mountain to rescue - well it's harsh but it's true - your friend from the clutches of his family

And not to brag, but it was easy enough to accomplish. At first he didn't want to let him go, but when Kirua's mother eventually recognized you, she decided to offer you a deal. It was simple, and from her point of view, it was like being served up to you on a silver platter

The deal was simple we'd let Kirua go with her friends on condition that you sign a promise of marriage with her eldest son, Irumi

Of course, he didn't know about it, and between you and me, he'd seen you during the exam. He liked you, of course, but you were taking up a lot of space with the way you behaved, and well, he was more the discrete type

But his mother was sure he would accept for the greater good of his family. After all, you were an Uzui, descended from a powerful ninja clan. You'd make a wonderful assassin for the Zoldyck family, and you and Irumi's offspring would help keep the family's prestige intact even after your generation

You accepted eagerly, it was a challenge that only the greatest could meet and face. So it was for you and also you found Irumi very handsome, his charm hiding a certain darkness that you enthusiastically wanted to get to know.

Kirua refused but you insisted before slipping into his ear that this way you could really become his big sister, bringing a shy smile on his face as he turned his head on the side "You're just so stupid" he mumbled

So when the big day arrived, you stood there proudly holding your brother's arm as he walked you down the aisle. In front of you stood the man who was to be your future husband. His dark blue suit subtly accentuated his muscular build, while the golden needles finely stitched into his jacket enhanced the look

Looking at you, he couldn't help but feel butterflies in his stomach. The way your white diamond dress with hints of violet gave you a sophisticated look. Like the way your corset hugged your chest perfectly down to your hips to mark your waist. Gosh you were gorgeous and he just wanted to be tonight. For someone who didn't really want to get married, he seemed very eager now

Your brother's manicured hands tightened on your waist as you both approached Irumi, and he gave him a dark look, meaning that if a disappointment were to happen, he would deeply regret it

Irumi looked unimpressed, at his threat

The ceremony went off without a hitch, despite the Tengen women crying their eyes out

Strangely enough, you both got on very quickly. You have more or less similar views of the world and especially of the fact that you are superior to many people

Though in the beginning you cringe him so much when you’re loud in public. He wants to disappear. He is seriously not used to this kind of display

Otherwise, you suited him. You were beautiful, stylish, classy, strong... His mother was right your descendants will have everything going for them

There was just one thing he still couldn't get used to yet... your exuberance

You are always too much. Even if you don't mean to. But you can't help being loud, laughing aloud, talking any way you like at the risk of hurting people's feelings, nit that you cared anyways. Because yes, you spent your time roasting everyone, even him

"No, for the umpteenth time, I'm not going to paint my nails" he sighed, trying to concentrate on his next target's file

"Seriously ?!? How can my husband be so unflamboyant !" you almost shouted, making him grit his teeth

His body language gave nothing away. He was like 🕴🏻 "Your word doesn't make any sense" he answered dryly. But deep down he was a little offended. Look at his long ebony locks and his unique outfit, he was flamboyant

"Yes, it does, look at me. I'm flamboyant. Look at you, you're not" you sassed

"Can you stop already" he grumbled

You two kept arguing. But as odd as it may seem, that's what keeps you going, unblocks complex situations and shows you that against all odds, one will always be there for the other

Over time, the protectiveness he feels for his brother begins to shift toward you. He starts standing behind you like a shadow when you two are walking around. He gives people murderous looks. And you could almost hear him hiss like a snake if you got too close

But you know how obsessive he can be, you just put the basics right in his face. No, he wasn't going to doesn't like that with you. You don't even need it. People just by knowing you are from the Uzui clan - with your bandhead - clear the way

But there's one thing that will always amaze him, and that's the remarkable way you surprise him, Irumi Zoldyck

One time you came up behind him and spanked him hard... he yelped. You're lucky he loves likes you because he would have wasted no time on killing you. At least you had the cleverness to do this when you too were alone

He should start to get suspicious and feel it coming but every time you go behind him he doesn't know if he should wait to get a spanking. So sometimes he discreetly holds his breath and closes his eyes. he just knows he is going to yelp

He doesn't like pda like at all. Don't try putting an arm around his shoulders, because he is going to pull away. Though if he sees anyone getting too close he is the type to wrap an arm aroud your waist and pull you flush against his chest

Also you’re both doms… So when you’re going at it, it looks like you’re fighting, but naked. You can do whatever with this info

Sometimes you have deep conversations. Like that day when he felt a little vulnerable after making love - yes not fucking, making love- and he asked you if like your brother you were into polygamy

That day you reassured him as best you could, explaining that not all the men on this planet are worth it

"No even Tegen. I swear he always thinks he is the flashiest but gosh he can be so loud and rude sometimes"

Irumi's eyes widened, and once again you'd surprised him. He kissed your forehead and left you to sleep, his body nestled close to yours. He was glad you answered seriously, because you usually laughed more than anything else when talking about serious subject

The subject of children hasn't come up yet, but you're both afraid his mother will put pressure on you. So Irumi decides to say that he's going to set up a base in another place to be closer to his field of action. But the truth is, he wants to get away from his family and closer to you

He's still creepy and bloodthirsty, but with you he feels like he was starting from scratch. And he'd never felt such excitement - well except on your honeymoon

Tbh you were his best friend besides killua.

Tries to make you as comfortable as possible since he isn't completely dumb and notices how shy you can get. He thinks it's kinda similar to kurapika, considering he isn't exactly chatty either.

Also, he lowkey freaks out the first few times you spoke, his first reaction was literally-

"Y/n, you can speak!?" *gets bonked by killua* I swear he isn't trying to be rude.

This dude will drag you everywhere and tries to get you to know you more and to possibly make you feel safe enough to speak to him more. He definitely doesn't mean any harm.

Since you are the same age as him and killua he thinks it's a must for all three of you to be friends.

Sometimes his behavior can get overwhelming to you and make you get even more shy.

"Woah, you are really close to kurapika! Killua doesn't seem to be that close with his siblings. Well I wouldn't know since I don't have any." Would ask questions about you and kurapika.

Was shocked af when you had shown off your skills. Didn't necessarily think you were really weak but didn't think you were this strong.

After whatever you did he would praise you and stay stuff like "wow! Y/n I didn't think you were that strong! That was so cool!"

Would stop worrying about you a little less. Now knowing that if you were ever in danger and there was no one, you would definitely be able to protect yourself. (Let's hope whatever you're fighting against isn't too strong.)

Killua

Probably acted kind of a jerk to you the first few times.

But then after a while seeing that you weren't all that bad he started loosening up a bit. And then eventually you became friends with him.

Would've thought you were weak if it weren't for that zoldyck blood in which he sensed something far stronger within you.

Still even so he still thought you were nowhere near as strong as him. And overtime he started to become a little protective of you.

"Y/n you can speak!?" Killua bonked gon on the head.

Doesn't mind your quietness. He prefers it, he likes how energetic gon is but he also wants someone he can vibe peacefully quiet with.

He's kinda jealous of your closeness with kurapika. At first he thought that younger siblings could never get along with their older ones but clearly you and kurapika proved him wrong. He wishes he and illumi could have a healthier relationship sometimes.

If he's feeling especially silly and happy he might try to separate you from your older brother's hip and get to hang out with him instead during free time.

Killua's not shy, just self reserved. Even so he can understand most of your behaviors.

Wasn't that surprised when you had shown how capable you were when you had to fight against an enemy. Though it doesn't necessarily change his opinion on you. He feels a little more at ease.

"Why don't you hang out with me and gon for a little while?"

Leorio

You're like the little sister he never had.

Didn't really pay you much mind as you never really did anything outstanding for the majority of the exam but as he spent more time in your presence the more he started appreciating you.

You grew on him quick, he's now also your older brother.

Because of your pretty introverted nature he felt quite obligated to be at your side a lot.

Will almost cry if you want to spend time with him, he's never been this happy before. Although in the hunter exam the amount of things you can do is pretty limited.

You're somewhere without kurapika and someone goes out of their way to talk smack in front of you? Don't worry you'll see leorio sprinting towards the person in a very loud and aggressive voice.

"HEY WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY!?"

Since leorio is more in his delusions most of the time he'll think of you as kinda pretty weak. Don't get him wrong it's not like he'll force it on you, he just feels like he needs to help out in stuff mostly.

Around kurapika alot so that also means he's around you alot, it's a win win. You get two protective and older sibling figures by your side.

Jaw dropped. It dropped to the ground and 5 feet more under. Now he feels kinda bad and embarrassed he thought of you as something that needed help with.

Still tries to help you as much as he can when you're about to be fighting with someone.

He tries to look calm even though he made a dumb expression earlier. Although he does hold a proud smile.

Kurapika

Kurapika doesn't mind it when you seem to cling to him 24/7. In fact he likes it. As in he feels more at ease when you're in his line of sight. Being the two sole survivors of your clan it's really no wonder.

Of course this without a doubt forms an inseparable and unbreakable bond and trust.

Your older brother was the only person you could comfortably be alone with until the hunter exam. It took kurapika by surprise when you actually decided to hang out with someone other than him. It's not like he hates it but he feels a little uneasy, something you've had your entire life suddenly being away from you is something not so many people can be okay with.

He warms up to the idea eventually though. In fact he does enjoy seeing you interacting with other people. Seeing you by yourself without him with gon, killua and leorio and others sends a melancholy wave of pride through him.

He encourages you to spend more time with your now called new friends.

He wants you to spend a bit more time being independent before he goes away for something which he never told you about or plans to ever tell you about. (Ehem.. Revenge)

Knows you are fully capable of stuff but it doesn't stop him from feeling obligated to do something for you.
