Q: Dear Master, please explain what kind of karma it is when there are dictators like Hitler, Lenin, and Ho Chi Minh, who caused wars that killed millions of people and made millions of others suffer.

Supreme Master Ching Hai: That is the collective karma of humankind, which, as I told you, consists of the by-products of the inter-relationships between humans and other beings in this world or other worlds. Those kinds of by-products become a kind of very forceful, strong energy, hanging around our Earth’s atmosphere. And when it is too condensed, then it has to manifest into some kind of visible form, such as a very great dictator who kills millions, etc.

Since you have asked, these people are not to be blamed also, in a sense, but we ourselves are to be blamed. If each one of us leads a life of virtues, keeps the commandments, and refrains from killing of any kind, including indirect killing by keeping the vegan diet, then the world would never have bred these kinds of dictators in the first place. These are there to remind us of the virtuous way, and if we are not awakened yet, then these things will continue to remind us until the whole of humankind is awakened.

Have faith in the journey

This journey,I say journey because it is,we all come here to live our lifes all from different backgrounds,cultures and we all have different ways of being,has to do with our upbring and our cultures our families,so even though we are family each and everyone of us individuallyare different some are the same passed down in our lineage our bloodline some of us come from a family of doctors, teachers et.it continues no matter what we choose to be in our lifetimes,we all walk our own path,it's the journey and some of us choose a completely different path way different from what we grow up with and that is our own way,either way it's your journey you're the one that walks it and you are never really alone and on your journey different people you are guided to they are drawn to you to assist you in some way,we all learn from each other,even the ones that shows you exactly what you don't want to be,like something that is completely the opposite of love,show you just how unworthy you are,when you're not,those teach you the most,here you have a choice believe them, become like them or learn from it,stay there or rise above it,here you learn to appreciate more, love more,live in gratitude more,so we are always shown how we could be more, presented with different choices,there's lessons there to learn so we grow,choices we make,do I stay here or do go left or right? There's no wrong way, only learning lessons. Enjoy your journey. I'm grateful for my family and my upbringing. I see how it's different from theirs. I am grateful for mine and all that I get to experience along the way. observe what keeps showing up in your life,these are the lessons and when you don't learn them,they will keep showing up,no matter where you in different people situations or events,that's part of the journey,self care self love, apply this it's a very big part of it also loving and accepting yourself completely through it all,that's another lesson we tend to not focus on it much,because we feel like we are the caretakers,so we put ourselves aside to take care of our loved ones,self neglect and we don't do ourselves any favors by doing that,you matter,when you neglect yourself it affects you your life,your health and your journey your growth,take care of you,you're just as important as those that you care for,so love yourself more,just as much or more the way you love those that you love. Have faith and trust as you grow along your journey.

There is nothing domestic about the majestic fields of white lilies. Their vibrancy and aroma can put me into a coma.

Is it really any wonder the love that radiates and cast a spell that I went under?

I spiral into a planet of dreams where I imagine anything can happen. All events of sadden, swiftly I slacken.

It’s my dream, this means, I can elect to direct its energy flow wherever I wish to go.

The horses frisky fillies dances through this field of white lilies. The feeling is not of willies, more of all smilies!

Through every devastation, this is one way to pull myself out of the circuit of frustration.

I choose to recall fun and happy moments. These memories changes the mood in everything and I rest in love, joy, comfort and peace.

Let me say it again, it’s my dream, this means I can elect to direct its energy flow wherever I wish to go.
