A/N: after finishing lookism, i couldn't stay silent any longer, i HAD to write for them despite literally having no idea how to, i suppose that this is the first time i'm writing something properly, haha. Anyways, have fun reading <3

Gun aged like a fine wine, you must admit. The day you laid your eyes on him for the first time ever still replayed in your mind, although you wouldn't really admit it. Witnessing with a new student while you were just chasing around your cat was the least thing you expected, and that attidute of his, you didn't expect that either. You were 16 at that time, young and full of life. Life was dready sometimes, that's a fact that no one could never get rid of including you, but who cares? We're here to have fun, and that's how you lived your life. When you gave Gun a slight smile along with a wave for the first time, he just replied with a single glance and turned away. He was odd, you thought. You were familiar with the most of the students in your school, and since he was a new face, you just wanted to greet him kindly. And how did that thug react? Exactly.

That's when that guy, who's name you learned later sucesfully inserted himself in the bad side of you, you could easily tell that he was a delinquent from the way you looked, but still you can't judge a book by its cover, but including that attitude with that presence? yeah, he definetely was a delinquent.

You just had no idea how the time melted so quick, the guy who used to be nothing but a delinquent in your eyes years ago was now behind you, arms roaming around your waist, stroking you as if you were a sculpture while you were just trying to cook dinner. ''Dear,'' you call out, a smile unconsciously appearing in your lips. ''Go take a shower first, you must be tired after work.''

He almost purrs while nibbling on the side of your neck, ''I am. So let me reduce my exhaustion.'' You could feel him inhaling your scent, lips contacting with your skin, leaving several soft kisses which caused you to giggle slightly. ''Alright, enough. Go shower, dinner's almost ready.'' You turn your head, leaning closer to him. knowing what you were up to, he moves his face to the side, his cheek waiting to feel your lips on it. Expecting to greet with his cheek, you greet with his lips instead, tasting the cigaratte at the same time. Damn it, you think. You fell for this move again. The chuckles coming from him while he makes his way to the bathroom only increases the heat of your cheeks. With a sigh, you continue to cook, a smile on your face.

''Princess!~'' cooed Goo, grinning with his full teeth, seeming utterly excited on whatever he was about to show you. ''Guess what just happened.''

''What?'' You answer, pair of eyes still glued to your phone, which instantly goes noticed by your husband. A frown already on his face, he leans his head to your phone, blocking you from the view of your phone. ''Look at me, not at the phone.'' He narrows his eyes and gives you that pout. You put your phone aside, now your full attention on your needy husband. Resting his head on your lap, he gives you a cheeky smile.

''Guess what day tomorrow is!''

''September 11th?'' You ask, one eyebrow slightly raising as you played dumb.

''Yes it is but, that wasn't the answer i was looking for.'' His lips quivers, before he tilts his head ''Don't tell me that you forgot, Y/N~'' He whines, which was when you decide that it was the time to drop the mask. A chuckle could be heard from you as you gaze down at him.

"Silly. what do you think that i was searching at my phone?''

''Wha- hey, you're just trying to change the topic now!''

''No im not, dumbass. I was searching for places to spend your anniversary.''

''Stop trying to change the to- Oh.'' Hearing those words causes the pout replace with a smile which easily reached his ears. ''Aww, sweetkins!'' In a blink of an eye, Goo was now straddling your lap, throwing his arms around your neck while he buried your head on his chest, rubbing your head on his chest as he hugged you. ''I knew that you didn't forget about it!''

'' 'Course i didn't forget, how could i- Goo get the hell away from me i cant breathe.''

''Oh.'' From his facial expression you clarify that he forgot how heavy and muscular he was for a moment. Now, you were the one on top of him, sitting on his laps as he hugged you, grinning up at you through your chest. ''Better now?''Your hand extends to his blond hand on its own as you smile back. ''Better.''

You were gazing at the big deal street with your husband, head resting on his shoulder, his hand slowly stroking your waist, keeping you close as the cheerful talks of the people mixed with each other on the background while you both enjoyed each other's company in silence ''How odd.'' You break the silence first, recalling memories. ''Years passed, yet, this street still looks the same.'' Glancing up towards Jake, your smile widened at the sight of the smile displaying on your beloved's lips.

His irises' attention was now on you instead of the street as he smirked. ''How odd.'' He repeated your sentence, ''Years passed, yet, you're still beautiful as you were before.'' lips slightly parting away, you couldn't even reply to that sudden compliment, but your face sure did, which earned a loud laugh from your husband as he brought you closer, while you frowned, eyes on your shoes, attempting to hide your red cheeks despite already being aware that it wouldn't work.

BIG MASSIVE VERY LARGE IMPORTANT QUESTION THAT COULD CHANGE THE ENDING OF FTNADOL PSA

How would people feel about a sequel of sorts focused on Spider's recovery and the aftermath of FTNADOL, and also the interaction between the clans (olangi, tayrangi, metkayina omatikaya etc)?

Because honestly, it would otherwise be just a big epilogue where everything is put into it, and all loose ends would be tied and the story is getting very big already. It would also mean there wouldn't be any rush to the pacing?

Thoughts? Feelings? General screams?

the scene where izzy is talking to stede about the knives is such a good display of his character development. not only has he previously shown that he cares about the crew, and feels responsible for their safety; he actively stepped up instead of trying to kill himself again he saved that bullet to prevent ed from killing the whole crew, but he also acknowledges that he hurt ed (despite my disagreement with him that ed’s entire emotional state was caused by stede and izzy—thats a whole other can of worms regarding personal responsibility and mental illness and autonomy). I’m not sure if this is new character development for him, or if this was consistent from the start, and as we know, aspects of the previous season’s image of izzy will be somewhat divorced from how he usually behaves due to his emotional state. I didn’t particularly see him as a character who wouldn’t accept responsibility, but he has lied previously. not that it did him any good.

it seems entirely consistent to me that him lying initially about ed’s death (alongside the crew who initiated that lie) was due to his stated goal of wanting to avoid any more harm to the crew. He, at this point is only barely back from suicidality. I think the crew is holding him together quite a bit, and he wants to protect them as fiercely as he did edward.

i hope that we will get some flashbacks to him and the crew bonding, or his attitude shifting, but imo, the way he’s been shown to try to protect the crew, standing up to blackbeard directly and redirecting the attention to himself, shows he does really care.

I love that he isn’t and has never been a one-note, one-dimensional villain who selfishly only exists for himself and is actually a nuanced character with layers, things he is working on improving. None of them are “good guys”, really. because they’re people and contain multitudes. but the whole point of the story is about personal growth and escaping unhealthy dynamics and relationships and healing and how beneficial community is to all of that. I think the show is doing very well at portraying that and most people will see and understand the points being made.

thinking abt gwen and hobie and what his community means and meant to her, how cool she thinks he is, how kind, how fucking smart. she ADORES hobie, dude. she thinks he's the coolest ever. he's her best friend, right alongside miles. she'd do just about anything he asked and considers him the best person she knows

Do the dwarves have a favourite mission type or biome by any chance?

Driller's favourite biome is Magma Core! nice and toasty! He's a little saddened about his bunkies being,,, too spicy for everyone else however. Favourite mission type would of course be On-site refining I think.

Gunner's favourite biome is Crystaline Caverns. He likes the simple things, plus the generation of the caves is easy for his zip lines to reach places. Favourite mission type? probably elimination, self explanatory. though he does love big hoardes too.

Scout's favourite biome would be Glacial Strata. Sure, he hates the cold and the ice and everything about it- but the snow does cushion his falls! which he vehemently denies happen. Favourite mission type? he never knows what mission it is. he just does the side objectives. but perhaps point extraction?

Engineer's favourite biome is Hollow Bough. he enjoys the calming sounds of wood creaking, plus the whole place has a nice earthy smell to it. Favourite mission is perhaps Industrial Sabotage. He likes watching the machines at work. And enjoys destroying them with his superior ones much more.

Characters featured: 

1. Emilia from Re:Zero

Emilia’s softspoken and compassionate nature reminds me of Sharon a lot. Both of them are quite motherly or doting towards those around them as well. However, they can also be incredibly stubborn at times and when they set their mind on something, they will not give up until they’ve reached their goal. Both characters have also lost either their parents or their guardian/the person most dear to them. 

2. Miyuki from Lucky Star

Sharon also falls under the stereotypical ‘ditzy girl with glasses’ and Miyuki is kind of an OG in this category. They also share a lot of aesthetic similarities such as the long, pink hair and the larger chest.

3. Kokoro from Darling in the FRANXX

Their motherly nature is the biggest similarity here, but when watching this anime, a lot of Kokoro’s dialogue reminded me of Sharon. Especially how she knows that sometimes people will hurt her, yet she still wants to keep on interacting/engaging with people. Both characters are also able to look past someone’s flaws and give them a second chance. 

4. Shiraishi-san from Tanaka-kun is always listless

This one is more of an aesthetic similary as well, since Shiraishi-san was the main inspiration when I changed Sharon’s design from her initial one (she used to be a self-insert so she had blue eyes and dark brown hair like me). This is where I got the red glasses and her hair color. uwu Shiraishi-san and Sharon are also equally awkward around their crushes, haha.

5. Megumi Tadokoro from Shokugeki

Both characters have low self-esteem and tend to be quite clumsy. However, they do have a lot of determination and eventually their efforts will bear fruits. uwu

6. Honda Tooru from Fruits Basket

I had never watched Fruits Basket when I originally created Sharon and developed her as a character, but I did watch the remake and during the whole thing I just kept thinking ‘Holy shit this girl is literally Sharon in every way???’ Just the way she behaves and interacts with others reminds me of Sharon’s ditzy moments so much. The Kyo x Tooru ship also gives off big Subaron vibes imo.

like, when you're hanging out and about to go somewhere and she says "oh my god, i could invite my rancid boyfriend!" because she's obsessed with him, he's like her jungkook, etc is it inappropriate to say "i don't want you to and if you do i will go home"? he's done nothing to you btw, he just doesn't like being around you and is always vying for dominance when you're together because he's a meathead moron and this is why you don't like to be around him. but when you bring this up she says "i think he's like that because he thinks you don't like him :(" and then what can you say but "i don't" lmao...

like. it's two things, right. you both clearly dislike each other. for whatever reasons. so why should you hang out. then secondly. what even are you to each other. why would you have a relationship. whose bright idea was it to mandate there be anything above civility in this type of relationship. but how do you explain all this in a way that doesn't make you sound like a dickhead.
