I arrived almost 12 hours ago, I've had two stupidly filling typical French meals, I've done too many loads of laundry than I'd like to admit because dryer, I've been spoiled with and am spoiling myself with coffee, my stress is diminishing, I got to read some great meta, and I'm chilling with Mara (who has numerous sleeping spots involving fuzzy blankets in this temporary repose, one of which being the fluffiest nest ever) while listening to and jamming out to Hugh Laurie leading the show in my ear. In other words, while yesterday was a time, I'm having a pretty darn nice time right now, because even if my back aches, my wrists are happier. Let's see if I can get any writing done on these 4/(5?) hours of sleep I've gotten in the last 48 hours, cause I'm pretty hype.

i'm supposed to be studying but i have a hot take which is that could we start again please should have been an ensemble number mostly led by mary and peter's verse should've been divided to him, john and james if not more of them

Referring to everyone's skill as of pre.#Reiner said Bertolt was the strongest of all of the shifters but he held himself back. He came 3rd without giving his all. Or really trying#I hc he held himself back to try not to let too much of his strength show bc people forget he had military training b4 joining the 104th.#And ofc. Also to not bring too much attention to himself bc of who he really is???#The way he mastered his Titan straight away and also has such a good handle on it.#Out of the 3 shifters he was the one that stayed true to the mission. Despite his reluctance he's got the strength and commitment.#People are so quick to say he relies on Reiner too much. And while he does at times. Reiner relies on him just as much if not more. Even if#Reiner doesn't realise it. Bertolt keeps him on track and has no one supporting him at all.#In COTT arc... U see him dodge Mikasa who is an Ackerman and seen as one of the strongest characters in the series...#And the same in RTS. Everyone gets too distracted by Mikasa to actually pay attention to how he dodges her 4 times?? Even tho she attacks#from behind? And the way he lands a hit on her. I just *screams*. I love how many times she tries to kill him. lol#How effective he is when he abandons his guilt and this is sort of irrelevant but. It's so special to me because as someone who is#a quiet person irl round people I don't know well. Who has it brought up a lot. I just adore when a character that remains in the#background just comes out and says enough is so hhhhh I know his reasons aren't good BUT RTS BERT... uh so jaewon's last therapy session his therapist told him to not act rashly w this new relationship and jaewon did just that he made a rash decision to go the beach w jihyun and stay there for the weekend and the rash written on their surfing suits along w the jihyun driving incident I think ik where this is going.

i want to get started on the Full Hands List but i am waiting on my apartment people for scheduled maintenance and i don't really want to start until they leave but i also have no idea what time they'll make it to my apartment so we're just playing the waiting game now
#at my old apartment i was one of the first to get the maintenance bc my apartment number was just higher on the list#so it was usually around 10-11am#but im much further down now and idk how long it'll take#this isn't my FIRST TIME having the preventative maintenance in this apartment but the last times i just went to bed and got woken up#when they knocked#bc i was still on nights and i had no idea how long it'd be and didnt want to stay awake#and i did NOT check the time when they finally arrived#i just let them in and waited until they left so i could go back to sleep lmao#so#we'll see ig#I'm also splitting this into 3 days instead of don't all 3 seasons at once ill do a season a day#largely bc of time in general and how it's like. 12 hours of show.#and im be starting late today bc of *gestures at post*#but also it's going to be LONGER cus i have to pause every time hands shown up so i can note the timestamp#which ofc makes the whole process much. the entirety of BFDI so far is 16:10:39 (hours, minutes, seconds). assuming the average sleep time is 8 hours, then that's a little more than typical waking hours
#wheucto#wheucto speaks#binging the entirety of BFDI in one sitting (from BFDI 1a to TPOT 6) is. possible. but barely#unless you like. stay up a long time_ later on this is just. going to be impossible#that is if you want to stay healthy sleep schedule-wise#and so far we only have 6 TPOT episodes. considering we have 35 (i think) contestants_ 2 contestants eliminated#if that stays true until. uhhhh. let's say an avg of 3 members per team for merge (or first merge)#3 * 6 = 18#that's almost half of 35. so it would take 17 or 18 episodes to get there if. i'm right which is unlikely#now if 1 contestant is eliminated after 1st merge that would take 15 for final three 16 for final two#if the same stays true (until final four/two) then it'd be 7ish for final four/three or 8 for final two#17 + 7 + 1 for the smallest estimate. that's 25.#each episode is about 25 minutes (assuming trends stay the same) so it'd be 625 minutes more (or 10 hours 25 minutes)#that is_ assuming that 1. tpot doesn't get canceled 2. 1st merge will happen when teams have 3 contestants avg#we'll need to wait about... 3 to 5 years (if the show gets completed) to see how many episodes (and how long they are) there'll be#(since assuming each episode comes in a month + half times that by 25 for a little over 3 years as the lower estimate and 5 as just. a vibe#- based guess)#if 625 mins is correct then it'd be over 26 hours long also known as more than a day. so. binge-watching all of bfdi is probably impossible#- when it all gets completed (assuming there isnt ANOTHER season after tpot. and who knows?)

salmon run is genuinely so fun but i just wish i was better at it. like the only reason im able to stay an overachiever is because every once and a while im able to complete a full game
#like i always forget i can use sub weapons and specials bc im so stressed and focused on trying to take out the salmonid with brute force#and somehow i ALWAYS end up separated from my teammates in the second or third wave and i dont know why or how that keeps happening#like ill spot a boss one way and the entire rest of my team i think sees them another way#and no matter how matter times i scream THIS WAY i die alone#im also just not familiar with a lot of weapons as this is my first splatoon game and im very stingy with my shelldon licenses#mostly bc im scared of getting something and not liking it#even though i have plently to spare#like i snatch up any gear i think is even slightly cute but apparently i just cant be that way with weapons#god i also just. get into my head easy w salmon run bc i get SO SCARED of letting my team down#ESPECIALLY if ive been playing with the same few ppl for a while#like yesterday evening i stayed with the same four ppl for SO LONG bc i felt so bad for losing so much and i wanted to make it up to them#like the way i see my salmon run team vs my turf war team is so different#my salmon run co workers are my family dude i cant just abandon them#i cant do that to them#tara says stuff#splatoon#splatoon 3#salmon run#salmon run next wave

BTW during my nightly nap i had a dream abt horrortale sans...... it was sorta all over the place cause i fell asleep watching youtube so it affected the course of my dream a lot but i think it was something along the lines of him working someplace on the surface and saw me from afar semi-regularly and was like. really weirdly fixated on me. but he was totally nuts about it too like hed follow me around with the sole intention of trying to figure out WHY he was fixated on me and what id done to make it that way. like. obviously there was something mega suspicious about me since he couldnt get me out of his head and also he thought i was the one stalking HIM because i kept showing up in places he went to. like i remember he had some special quiet place near his work where hed go to watch a nearby lake and calm down (super cute) and it was way behind some bushes and shit so it was like a secret for him. but then he went there one day and i was there napping in the grass and he was like ok what the fuck. anyway all in all it was a good dream and i think thats sort of what hed be like, even just regular sans is like that too. also my appearance in this dream was that of my self insert which was neat and also there was a part where he was watching me in secret and i was stressed out and he saw me take my eyepatch off and stab myself in the fucking eye over and over again and he was like. woah Thats just like when i pick my broken eyesocket....... and it was like a whole thing. lmfao

I live for the contrast between Ichi's design and the others' honestly! Love that Jo's and Arakawa's remained all moody and sober while Ichi and Aoki wound up wearing opposing primary colors. Mitsu's a fun case because he's always been a mix; dark and colorful in the 2000s, and his suit in 2019 is about the color you'd get from mixing Ichi and Aoki's suits and desaturating it.
But sort of on the topic of Nice and Beautiful and Arakawa doing light makeup for him........

the contrast between ichi and aoki's designs is SO good and i love it so much- like Y7 really couldn't stress enough that aoki and ichi were the exact opposite to each other and i live for it 👏👏

i’ve gotten really bad over break at falling asleep in a time frame where i can wake up in the morning and function at capacity. but in other news i’ve written a very angry song aimed at my father. so that’s fun

#the 'minecraft stranded' series by the proper idiots/dummies on youtube#the overall plot is nothing big its a bunch of plane passengers crashing onto an island and stuff happens#theyre split into pairs and they each get into conflicts w each other out of pointless paranoia#but the thing i love abt is is the perspective and the way it ends#so each of the youtubers posted their own povs and i first watched it from unspeakable's pov#but the thing about his pov is that him and his partner end up becoming the villains#unspeakable is kind of a dummie bc thats how he usually portrays himself#but his partner ryguy is super smart#he's a strategist and an engineer he makes these cool hidden bases and ends up making gear thats far beyond the other teams'#at one point the other teams worked together to raid their base and ryguy came up w this elaborate escape plan that worked almost flawlessly#but the main thing is the ending#its kind of a long story but basically things went really wrong for unspeakable (nathan) & ryguy. so they plotted revenge#ryguy went a bit crazy but he ended up creating this super op gear for him and nathan and they used it to threaten everyone else#and theres nothing anyone can do about it#ryguy ends up staying on the island to live out his power trip but he makes a deal to let the others leave if they leave him alone#the overall story isnt really that great. like its a minecraft rp series there isnt much to expect#but i liked the twist its what made it memorable#ive wanted to make something inspired by it like an au or smth but id have no clue how to go about it#i just wanted an excuse to talk abt it#but also pls share i wanna see

#I really want to try straight hair shampoo and conditioner for my hair#everything online says not to but all the curly hair products make my hair scrunch up and dry out and it’s so unmanageable#I don’t know what to do with my curly hair everything everybody tells me to use doesn’t work on it#mom says I have her hair yet all the stuff she uses has totally different results on mine#always hated my cause I never figured out how to do it#so I don’t know what to with it I just put it in a ponytail#but I’m sick of it#I want to do something else with it#I can’t figure out if I want it long enough to put it in updos to keep it out of my face or if I want it short enough to stay out of my face#cause hate my hair getting close to my face#I don’t know what to do nobody’s ever let me grow it long enough to keep in updos and stuff#and their fine with letting me cut it shorter but idk I’m scared that’ll make it worse#why won’t they let me have long hair like I want#even if I don’t know exactly how to deal with it it would still be in updos or at least ponytails every time I go out as it always is#I want to it longer so I can do more styles with it and stuff but they’re refuse for some reason#and I want to use straight hair shampoo and conditioner at least once just to see what it does#but they refuse to let me try anything with my hair that isn’t a curly hair product or method#they’ve never been happy with my hair and I haven’t either#news flash parental figures none of the curly hair products and methods I’ve been using for 20 have ever worked on my hair#maybe it’s time to try something out of the curly hair box#for once in my life#and every other time I complain to them I want to try something new they tell me to just keep it straightened as if it’s that simple#so I tell them that’s a lot of extra work even tho I do really like how my hair looks straightened when I do it myself#I’m too lazy to do all of that on a regular basis it takes me four fucking hours to straighten my hair there’s so much of it#but yeah maybe I can work myself to exaustion and give my hair permanent heat damage to keep it straightened every day#and then I can try the straight hair products and stuff#I’m just sick of it I hate it so much#if keeping it straightened and using straight hair products on it don’t work then I might just shave it without permission cause I’m Tired#im starting to think a blow dryer might be necessary for this hair journey#they didnt do much to my hair when I was a kid but I haven’t tried one in a long time
