I'm very happy to present a new project I'll be doing: the Sonic Super Stream!

Me and my very good friend @vzm will be playing every Sonic the Hedgehog game in release order, live on Twitch!

Any and all mainline games, sidegames, or major spinoffs! Plus some tip incentives for me to play more obscure oddities if I get enough money! (i need to move out of my house rn and i'd really appreciate the support)

Starting on February 10th, we'll be streaming on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at around 4 or 5pm EST. This info is all subject to change but should remain mostly consistent.

Be sure to drop by and watch us fumble through one of the most famous game series of all time!

Making internet video content about things I'm passionate about and having that content be seen by others has probably been the closest thing to a "dream" I've had in my lifetime (not necessarily as a career, just as something that makes me feel personally fulfilled), but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to feel motivated when the only viable platforms for streaming or sharing edited videos are owned by corporations which regularly shovel more money than I'll ever see in my entire lifetime into groups who are trying to legislate me out of existence; groups that literally want me dead for merely existing as a trans person and spend millions upon millions of dollars to incite as much violence against me and my trans/queer siblings as humanly possible.

Obviously, I don't attract enough eyes to actually generate any revenue for these platforms right now, but what if that changes? Perhaps it's vain of me, but my goal is ultimately to be seen, to be part of the conversation, to share my authentic self with others, put a smile on someone's face, and make some small mark in the media landscape, if only a footnote; but hypothetically, the more I succeed at doing those things, the more I become part of the problem. How am I supposed to sleep at night when I am, ostensibly, contributing to systems of oppression for the sake of my own personal fulfillment? It's not essential for my survival; I could simply stop streaming, stop working on videos, abandon what makes me happy in life, and you could argue that it would be the morally correct thing to do. Why should it have to be a choice between following my dreams and retaining some small semblance of moral integrity?

Maybe I'm just overthinking. Maybe I chose the wrong dream. Either way, capitalism truly is cancer.

Alright y'all I'm planning to stream at 5pm est today. probably a 2 hour one, maybe 3 since it's a weekend.

More red dead! For anyone that's missed the last few, I'm replaying RDR2 with a focus on the story over gameplay & analyzing as I go. This means ofc that there will be spoilers, so if you haven't finished the game, be warned.

(that said, I have only played rdr2 and seen bits and pieces of the epilogue + rdr1)

It's a really laid back stream and so far we've had a good chat going so feel free to drop in & just hang out for a bit :) no need to catch up.
