Max has more photos than any of the others, so I can’t complain. And they’re here too

My 2 reasons behind making posts like this are the same as before:

1 - a little guidance for beginners who are trying to get a hold on budgets for cosplay 2 - I waited 10 years to cosplay I’m getting old I don’t give a fuck if I look ridiculous / if I don’t start eventually, I won’t get better at it so I’ve started / I will get better each time I make a new revamp of it or a new character / this will list stuff for my future self to come back and see improvement when I’ll feel low and useless.

My high points of this cosplay: - my friend not recognizing me for like 1 whole second (’You look normal!’ best compliment I could ask for) - the amount of people that recognized me as Max! That’s priceless - being extremely comfortable - I see improviment from Mello already

Stuff to improve: - get a more accurate wig - get better at cosplay - gain courage and money to buy and wear color contact lenses

Big helpers: - having had a terrible mood the day prior, and therefore could not feel as low on this day - wonderful make up tutorial by Liechee

Stuff I already had and that I included here: - my makeshift bag made of computer case+belt from one of my coats lol (I wore it on the wrong side) - acrylic white paint

Stuff missing to make this a bit 'better’: - better wig

Stuff I bought that can be used in several cosplays or in daily-life (and therefore is a better investiment overall): - 2 wig caps (1€) - make-up (a whole amount of around 40€, as in, everything you can think of when you think of a basic make up set)

Stuff I bought exclusively for this cosplay: - everything lol - wig (11€) trimmed by me - pants (2€) - shirt (2€) + another shirt because I ruined the first (1,5€) - jacket (10€) - shoes (6€) - elastic bands (0,65€)

So overall it was a rather cheap cosplay, all things considered, but more expensive than Mello at the bottomline. 33€ in the effective outfit and a value of almost that much on make-up
