Idk if there is anyone out there who needs to hear this but:
If you’re having issues with your gender, sexuality, or just identity in general… it’s ok. It’s okay to discover yourself, it’s okay to change, and it’s ok to be comfortable with who you are now. Everyone goes on their own journey at some point, you should embrace yours. If you ever worry it’s “just a phase”, that is okay. You are allowed to try new things and experiment, you are allowed to realize if what you thought about yourself wasn’t true. You are allowed to grow and you’re allowed to change.

one of my favorite things about carry on fandom (at least as it has existed since i joined in 2021) is that no one gets hung up on like... writing expertise or fics being "out of character." this is especially impressive because there is SO MUCH character analysis that goes on in this fandom, and yet it never translates to dunking on interpretations of characters that ppl disagree with. there's just genuine joy over the face that people are out here writing and sharing and putting their own twists on stories.
in general, everyone is just so encouraging abt art, and that's such a wonderful environment for people who are new to writing/sharing their writing. and for people who are not new but still feel nervous about putting themselves out there. it's really special! i think it's similar for visual art too

Btw if you have problems remembering things, imagine your f/o accepting and not judging you!
If it’s short term like forgetting to do things or misplacing an object, they might help you keep track of things better. Maybe they’ll remind you to note things down or keep a schedule. They might tease you lightly, and if you’re comfortable with it, it’s something you can laugh about together.
And If you have larger gaps in memory? They understand and want you to enjoy making new and loving memories with them 💫 because they absolutely do! Maybe they’ll frame pictures or write things down so that memory will be treasured and preserved, and you can both look back on fondly.
Their memories likely aren’t perfect either, because they’re human and fallible. They’ll appreciate everything you to to help them as well!

I've listened to TTPD three times now, twice alone and once at a listening breakfast with friends! Thoughts:
I liked quite a lot of it, but I'm not immediately blown away.
Current favorite is "The Bolter," followed by "But Daddy I Love Him," "The Prophecy," and "Florida!!!" in no particular order.
I loved the breadth of feelings that the album addresses. You really get a sense of a whole emotional landscape.
It's in strong and compelling conversation with Taylor's whole body of work without being too excessively self-referential. "thanK you aIMee" is the notable exception.
A lot of the songs are overwritten: she uses $20 words in place of $2 words, repeats herself, and dulls the power of what works by surrounding it with a lot that doesn't. If we go by Coleridge's definition that poetry is the best words in their best order, then yeah. She definitely needs an editor.
However, none of the lyrics that people seem to be highlighting as "cringey" bother me at all. I've always loved Taylor's proclivity for small details, even strange or out-of-place ones.
I would really love to gently help Taylor out with her literary allusions. They're a long-standing struggle for her, and even going in I was a little worried for that aspect of the album based on the marketing. Could've been worse, but most of them could still stand to be a whole lot sharper.
The songs tend towards very consistent production and tempo. Whether you want to call that cohesiveness or homogeneity is a matter of opinion.
My great, secret wish for this album was that it would feature a bunch of orchestra/strings, which would've meshed great with the dark academia vibe. Clearly, I didn't get it. Oh well

It was 5am and I asked twitter why Moon isn’t talked about more and I… not starting discourse or anything. Civil discussion. I’m just so lost with this response. Sure if her personality is boring or not is super subjective. Up to you.
But doesn’t stand out? I hope you don’t forget the story isn’t about only Pebbles. It’s about Moon and Pebbles and their relationship. She’s literally one of the TWO leads. It’s just that her feelings are looked at less.
Most of what we know about anything is through her! She’s such a big part of the lore/story side of the game this is so bizarre to me.
Also everyone has the right to their favorite character. You can like whoever, discourse or trying to guilt people is stupid. You are allowed to not be interested!! I was just curious and this surprised me.
