People act like Wukong killing Macaque in shadowpeach makes their relationship irredeemable or toxic or whatever, and that goes against the message of the source material.

It's disrespectful to me to act like Wukong is a villain for killing Macaque - that goes against his entire story. Wukong isn't a perfect angel, even now. He's not the best mentor to MK, he's made mistakes, he's lied, he's manipulated people.

Do not come into my house and be on the Wukong defense squad. He doesn't need your defense. You want to defend him so that your ship isn't seen as "toxic." But Macaque isn't an angel either.
