Uhh, I guess my brain just says things and I write it down? Idk, most of my fic ideas are random thoughts apropos of nothing, or watching/reading something else and finding a specific thing to be like "what if this but different??"

7. How many ideas for fics do you have right now? Way too many. Right now there's like 3 new tomarrymort ideas, but also a few HL fics I have in mind 12. Do you have a playlist for your current WIP(s)? Share it!

Not really? I listen to a lot of music so it just depends on what I'm working on. A lot of my fics have Hozier themes though.

15. How do you come up with titles for your fics/chapters?

A Snake's Lover series I use the past life names as chapter titles, I chose the title because I had already been planning A Snake's Heir as the sequel. Flesh and Blood was originally going to be called Heirs and Assasins, but I wanted to use something that could be seen as gruesome while also using a term used to describe one's family. The chapters titles I just try to take the thesis of the chapter. Do It, Harry title and chapter names are going to be things Voldemort says in the fic about someone on Harry's list.

Would You Still Love Me? is the cringe idea I had when I was like 15 and people seem to like, so I kept it. I don't really think about the chapter names.

This is a little tricky, since most of the things I've been working on lately aren't things I should share until they're officially posted (-‿-")

So, presented without context (sorry~), here are some words from a WIP:

The ground is cool and damp, and Harry is not a skilled dancer, but he’s quick and light on his feet, and as long as the dance is mainly spinning to the beat he can keep up. He almost loses his breath laughing when one of his feet slides in a muddy patch and Tom has to grab him around the waist to prevent them from both tumbling to the ground. They slowly twirl to a stop, letting their momentum ease, pressed chest to chest. He can hear and feel the heave of Tom’s breathing, the low chuckles that slip out, and he looks up to meet dark eyes that glimmer with mischief and firelight.  He’s surrounded by his friends and warmth and joy in the cold spring air, in the arms of someone he’s begun to hope might become more than a friend. He never could’ve imagined he’d laugh so easily less than a year after the war ended. He smiles so wide he thinks it might split his face, soaking in the bone-deep contentment of the moment. He is so, so happy. And it hits him. Harry’s breath catches in his throat, and for a moment he thinks he might just break down, but he tucks the (fear, realisation, knowledge – ignorance truly is bliss, isn’t it?) feeling away, ruthlessly crushing it down between his ribs and vowing to ignore it. If it’s all going to end sooner than later, he might as well enjoy it while he has it.

I'll share a snippet from a fic about Voldemort finally getting tired of being embarrassed by a teenager, so he resorts to ol' Felix.

He had been rigid; too rigid, and the boy was shockingly resourceful. Something he remembered hearing in his childhood kept coming back to him. With each improbable failure and miraculous escape at the whims of Harry Potter, he remembered those words again.

The successful organism is the one that adapts.

Success was all that currently mattered to him. A loss to Harry Potter and his allies meant more to Voldemort than it did to any of his sycophants. They fought for more privilege, more status, money, and pride. Most were shocked every time one from their side was killed by their opposition - as if they kept forgetting what war was. This was a garden party with wandplay to them, a situation that they would naturally come out on top of because they always had.

Lord Voldemort knew what it was to be defeated. It was a price far higher than the lives of all of his followers combined: his own life. No, the time for old measures was done. Potter had an abundance of good fortune; he was merely leveling the field. Vanity could not be allowed to cost him everything. Besides, who would ever know?

The Dark Lord uncorked the dazzling golden potion and swallowed it all.

Now, years later when he should have died by Lord Voldemort's hand yet again, Harry sees the broken form of the horcrux at Kings Cross station and remembers. ______ Scarcrux raises Harry. Hurt/comfort and a happy ending as promised.

5. What’s a fic idea you’ve had that you will never write?

*looks at the literal hundreds of files in my bunnies folder* Uhhh there's a lot lol

I guess one that I've thought about for years but never got around to is trans girl Harry Potter having a sort of gender euphoria moment when the magical creatures class meets the unicorns and one of them goes right up to her. It probably wouldn't even be a long fic or anything, but it's been sitting in my bunnies folder for over 10 years now, so I'm pretty confident I'll never actually end up writing it.

11. Do you have specific playlists for writing fics?

I do not! Most of the time when I'm writing, it's while watching tv, but if I do write while listening to music, I tend to just go for my general repeatables playlist. I don't have anything that's just for writing fic or even for a particular one of my fics I don't think.

Here's a bit of the Hookhausen demon suitor fic I'm currently working on!

The tone of Schiavone’s voice gave Taz pause more than anything. “Who is it?” he asked, wracking his mind for what plausible suitor there could be left that would be of concern. “The demons have sent their prince.” Taz let out a heavy sigh, feeling his stomach drop. Out of all the kingdoms who could possibly send a someone to try for Hook’s hand in marriage, the demon kingdom had never been one that had crossed his mind. They were reclusive and private, rarely going far from their own lands. And they’d never been known to look for marriage treaties with any other kingdom. This couldn’t be good.
