Lisa Swallows is essentially such a good girl. She really is. She doesn't try to argue her way out of taking responsibility for her crimes. She doesn't go for an insanity defense or lean into her trauma or any of it. She takes responsibility! And even in this, the Creature is going to help her. He will give her everything and anything she wants.

(Also Jughead Jones constantly set things on fire, and I'm sorry to keep bringing him up but sex and fire were very connected for Jughead).

Personal canon:

As befits his poetic sensibilities, the Creature continues to take pieces from folks who wronged Lisa to make them both whole - he takes Tamara’s tongue and larynx for himself to reverse her gossip and ugliness, and her skin for Lisa so Tamara can’t get under hers anymore.

I like to think he’s continued to cause so much chaos that that side of town is, for all intents and purposes, abandoned, and that’s why he’s so confident about having her in open air there.
