Phew! Sorry this took me so long to get to, but hopefully it was worth it! Someone else also sent an ask talking about how Bella and Lucas could have survived the HOJ (which I accidentally deleted due to lag while deleting spam TwT) so this is for both of you!!

The first thing on everyone's mind after escaping would be food, food and drinks of any kind. Playtime Co. controlled most of the toys via starvation, and the food they did get was really low quality junk. Doey is more than familiar with crawling through vents, and what is that Walmart employee really going to do about him. While grabbing most anything in reach, there was definitely a preference towards junk food, they're all still kids and chips and soda are like ambrosia and they're going to eat until they throw up, and then they'll probably eat more after XD

After they finish gorging themselves I think they'd probably hide? Try and find somewhere to hide out either just in the woods or if they can locate an abandoned building. Anything to stay out of the weather and away from people, especially that last bit. None of them want anything to do with people, interactions would be rare and as short as they possibly can manage (they're all very scared of being dragged back). Getting Lucas and Bella's collars off is one of those rare people interactions, that poor employee who had Doey's stalker form looming over them while they tried to turn off a shock collar attached to a stuffed animal (who was also alive). Like, the second they left the store that dude 100% fainted BAHAHAHA. Doey's main focus is on himself, Bella, and Lucas, though I think it'd make sense for them to pick up a squad on the way out. Most toys were enjoying the carnage to some degree (or being torn apart in it) and most of the mini toys couldn't do much even after getting out of the building, these three were just lucky. There is no way in hell any of them would be willing to go back into the building, as much as they wish certain friends were here, it's just too much risk.

Honestly even after escaping I think they'd still be stuck in survival mode, scared of being dragged back at any moment and living in a world that is so new and scary. Most don't have very strong memories of being human, everything is new and to them, anything new is dangerous. They'd settle into a routine eventually I imagine... I believe in them :] Also for funsies! The Bron's name is Brandy, he remembers the most about being human (though not his own name as Brandy was a name he took after being a toy) and is in charge when it comes to figuring out new stuff. He is also the oldest of the group! The Daddy Long Leg is Dill, he also doesn't remember his real name. Dill and Doey are the main ones who do any sneaking that needs to be done, Dill is small and flexible, Doey is large and flexible. Finally there is the Catbee Amelia, who the only thing she remembers is her name. One of her antenna snapped off before meeting Doey and gang and she was the leader of her little squad, though I think she enjoys being able to take a backseat nowadays.

(And yes… Yarnaby can speak in Critterra Au… he’s actually quite talkative and friendly when he’s got something to say!)

Btw, Yarnaby’s tug is plush and so it’s always out. Additionally, Yarnaby is pretty much a Frankenstien’s monsters of cotton, fabric, and a little bit of… magic? Still working on that, but just know; Doctor Sawyer brought him to life, and now Yarnaby is one of his most loyal followers! Acting as the Doctor’s muscle whenever needed.

I was wondering if you did caregiver player with little Dogday and Catnap headcanons (the mini critters)

Basically this takes place where player rescued both of them from Playtime

Cg! Player with little! Dogday & Catnap {+ their mini version} Headcanons

{takes place where MC saves BB! Dogday & Catnap & the mini critters after the events of poppy playtime. TW mentions of loud noise & scary stuff}

Both Dogday, Catnap & their mini selves regress to cope with their trauma at playtime co.

They all learned about that while browsing through the Internet about coping mechanisms

BB! Dogday regress around 0-6 years old while BB! Catnap’s little age is 1-5 years old & both mini! Dogday & catnap‘s little age are 2-8 years old

Mini! Dogday & catnap both acting like twins when regress while their Bigger body selves are like little bother & big brother

Player {a.k.a Angel} is their main caregiver and Kissy missy & Huggy wuggy are their big siblings

Both mini! Dogday & Catnap don’t trust poppy at all after what happened at the "Safe Heaven incident" & leaving all of them after finding out that Ollie was the prototype, poppy still feels bad about it

Speaking of this, everytime they hear a loud noise they get jumpy, Player always hugs them after a situation like that

Player always carries snacks in their Cg bag just in case if any of the little ones gets hungry

BB! Dogday & Catnap have to be padded for avoiding accidents and for comfort. Mini! Dogday & catnap usually doesn’t wear them but do at night

BB! Dogday is slowly getting use of having his legs back but at the meantime he’s crawling

BB! Catnap‘s got a cream to heal him with his burns {his fur‘s growing back}

BB! Dogday likes to wear overalls, BB! Catnap usually wears oversized long sleeves shirts while their mini! Selves wears Onesies in partner look {their BB selves are also in on it}

Their fav show is "the bear in the big blue house"

BB! Dogday calls the Player : Mama, mommy or mx/er. Angel. BB! Catnap calls them : mama. Both mini! Dogday & catnap calls them : mx/er. Player

BB! Dogday & mini! Dogday & mini! catnap missing doey very much and the player tries to comfort them, even making a plushie/ clay figure of doey {but it’s hard for everyone to see toys in the same way again}

It took time for BB!Catnap to trust the Player {especially nearly being k!//3d by his savor}

Every Bed/Naptime he lets BB! Dogday, their mini selves {& the player} on his back while he’s resting

They all got a box with their Agere gear, including pacifiers & teethers

While regress BB!Dogday is super verbal he likes to chat about many things, BB!Catnap is mostly non-verbal but talks a bit while mini! Dogday & Catnap are semi-verbal

All of them loves to listen to lullabies from the player

In a room in the player‘s house is their personal playroom, there’s a makeshift indoor playground for the little ones, especially for the mini! Dogday & Catnap, there’s also a playground outdoors in the garden when all of them wanted to get some fresh air

The player calls them : dears, loves, little puppies/kittens, Sunshine, starlings/starlight, little ones, baby, moonshine, cupcake & kiddos

Warm tea & milk helps the little ones to sleep since BB!Catnap doesn’t want to use his red smokes

BB!Dogday‘s fav food are apple slices with peanut butter & BB!Catnap‘s fav are yogurt with smashed berries

Mini! Dogday & Catnap doesn’t have any favorite because they’re already grateful for having something to eat but they hate raisins and dates

Each of them have their own sleeping places/ beds

The player lets them sleep with them when they got nightmares

It‘ll be a long way to heal but they all getting through this together

first drawing of pride month just so happens to be these fucks and cuddling anyways uh fix it au thingies because yes

maybe I'll yap (or make a big post) about the fixit but that'd have to be later because it would take a bit to put everything together

all you really need to know is they were mucky as hell and player, after a visit to the store, un mucked them. That and they've been spending a lot of time clearing off rubble, fixing fabrics, and patching up holes in the facility to make it a little more habitable for thousands of little and big sentient toys.

Of course! I've actually done a few doodle versions of him napping with the toys but I decided I wanted to make an actually rendered thing this time.

Here's my poor boy Doey, he hasn't been taking care of himself so here's some Safe Haven mandated naptime. The littles are either napping with him or keeping an eye out so nobody disturbs him while getting some well deserved rest!
