What was it like for W1 when they first decided to merge together? Did either have any doubt before hand?

At first it was an over sensory nightmare! Both can FEEL every limb and MOVE every limb. They uh.. needed some time.

The only doubt they had before merging together was if they'd survive it. Extracting a brain and shoving it next to yours is. scary!!!

just read the plot summary for Wrath of the Triple Goddess and. wow this is. painful this just sounds painful to read.

Why is Grover the incompetent inciting incident character? That is not his narrative role ever, really. That's like, the fanon conceptualization of his character where he's reduced down to comedic relief and nothing more. He's mostly exposition and support. Why not have the inciting incident be something about Annabeth's hubris - something that has gotten the gang into situations tons of times before in a way that doesn't put down any of the characters? Heck you could have even tied it into some Sea of Monsters stuff, like Circe having told Annabeth that she'd make a good sorceress. That'd be perfect for how this book literally just exists to be advertising for s2 of PJOTV. Or maybe call-back to Percy's introduction, where he talks about how he doesn't try to cause problems but problems tend to find him. Or use the established personalities of Hecate's animal companions from HoO, since we know they have attitudes. Just what are you even doing here????

Brief Chapter 41 Summary

• First chapter mainly displays the well known traits of the brothers and they find out there will be a RAD science fair

• After Luke and Simeon see MC again they become tearful as though they haven’t seen them in a very long time. On the way home MC almost leaves to go to Cocytus Hall and the brothers mention Simeon and Luke tried to go home with them recently too.

• More of the science fair is explained and Thirteen sees MC again and has the same reaction as the rest.

• At home MC gets a call from Solomon who remembers everything and is on a remote island gathering herbs for magic.

• Everyone is assigned a field of science they’ll be working in and MC gets to choose who they’ll help. This WILL affect future chapters.

• MC runs into Simeon who explains he didn’t get enough sleep and that’s the cliffhanger for chapter 1 of season 3.

• The side story shows the first night Solomon and MC were back. The brothers immediately separate them and make them play games so solomon gets them for every penny they’re worth before heading out. First he says goodnight to Lucifer who kisses mc in front of him and leaves. Solomon stays with MC in their room and options can lead to implied intimacy.

• The hard lesson was Little D. No. 1 trying to wake up his brothers before Barbatos arrives. Barbatos gets there before Little D. No. 7 wakes up and he carries him around instead. He wakes up when he smells Diavolo’s soup and Diavolo excitedly feeds it to him.

At the start of this project all I wanted was to 'learn how to draw' using comics as a medium and the MDZS audio drama as inspiration.

I've come *very* far from making simple, 3 panel black and white comics, and I truly do intend to go even further. Thank you to everyone who cheered me on throughout 2023, it has been an incredible year in so many ways I never could have imagined. I look forwards to drawing throughout 2024 B*)

Resurrected post-lazarus pit Jason Todd is like the world’s angriest teenager and he makes it everyone’s problem. One cool little thing to note from this week's episode is that it's stated that it's not just that Tendi doesn't use pheromones, she can't. Ingreeta says this about her:

seeming to imply that Tendi one of the Orion women physically incapable of producing their infamous pheromones. And yet Ingreeta goes on to say this:

Throughout the episode, and even earlier on in the series, it's made clear that Tendi is a total badass even by Orion standards. The fact that she's hailed as the ideal Prime while having what could be considered a handicap and not even really wanting the position in the first place is pretty incredible.

rough beast ganondorf design + sketches + notes design combines the typical boar form (dark beast + cloud form from botw), the oni one (demon king gan) hint at the draconic one to come but keep part of his humanity with his clothing being mostly intact

as the battle with Demon King Ganondorf comes to an end, the sages previously knocked out start to wake up again, he is cornered and hurt and as fear of being imprisoned, tortured and exploited overwhelms him he transforms into the Beast form, breaking the arena you were fighting him in and him going for Zelda as she is the biggest threat (he remembers her destroying dark beast gan and she reminds him of sonia, who is the one you sealed his human body back in the day)

you and zelda flee through the cracks of the earth as more earthquakes happen with a beast at your heels thats now truly only out to kill as fast as possible as he burrows after you (first sketch)

the path takes you both just below the surface and as you are trapped in a dead end zelda shields herself and link with her light shield ability, which protects you both from immediate damage but cant soften the impact from gan charging at you, the impact of which breaks you all three to the surface and the battle takes place in the same spot as botws dark beast fight-

fight is very challenging as gan is smaller than the dark best version, jumping and charging at you while still able to cast spells, now truly throwing everything he can at you in the hopes of ending you both

fight ends with you shooting an arrow at zelda, her deflecting it at the right angle and it shooting off the enigma stone on gans forehead; he falls seemingly defeated and as zelda runs to take the stone away gan through sheer panic lunges for the stone triggering his dragon transformation and making way for the final fight

(summary of the end: in the final fight gan snatches up both link and zelda once he transformed into the black dragon and takes flight toward the sky, zelda falls from between his teeth and knowing that she cant get to link and help him in any way from the ground she, while falling, takes out the enigma stone she has kept in a save container in her backpack all this time and swallows it for her own transformation, in her white dragon form she takes active action and charges at gans head so link is freed, then supports him in the fight itself; at the end link plunges into dragon-gans mouth to reach the stone on the inside where he makes use of the 'medicine' previously made using the moonbloom taked from kogas secret lab, link and the stone are spit out and as gan reverses into a human and falls link is caught by zelda and he uses the second charge of it on her to bring her back as well; as all three fall from the skies as the sages have made their way through the tunnel that beast gan made earlier, they help link and zelda getting to the ground safely while the yiga do the same for gan - final end end isnt determined yet but this is waht i got so far and even if i have written this once before i felt it was fitting to do it again and no you cant tell me this is too much of a wishfulfillment thing bc it literally is just that as i cant actualyl change whats in the game, so even if im trying to make it all fit well together i can still do what i want nhakjdbgshdbhsjka)

For ppl who want to know how the egg carton is coming along

still under construction, however the island needed something in place now so q!Bad made the mini “egg basket” under spawn. empanada, sunny, ramon, richas, and pomme have all put their pearls there.

it’s a “one click teleports all” system meant to get eggs out of danger, so they can then warp to their safe rooms at home. not meant to be perfect, only temporary, but is immune to most things like the iconic symmetry wand elevator trick! there’s been a sense of relief to have something secure :D

Bad used securitycraft block pockets as a cool feature of the basket’s design, making a small emergency chamber where eggs can pass through to survive damage and escape. he’s been running several more tests since, and got a genius idea which would make the carton & eggs completely invincible. like it’s apparently so overpowered it’d neutralize everything. the plot itself too 💀

his biggest concern though is the minute he makes a move like That, the retaliation response would ofc need to scale with it (as it has done already) and become absolutely bonkers also. he’s worried if something crazy happens they aren’t prepared for, like straight up disabling certain items or throwing them into the middle of a minefield

yeah so Bad *probably* won’t do that idea, but he is making progress!

The egg carton is one central lobby with a much bigger all-tp system branching off into one pod for each egg. he’s continuing to add tricky stuff & some pocket blocks into parts of the design. it’s insane so far, immune to all the important stuff like a whole fortified vault bunker
