How did we get AIDS? - LittleHoot

I still can’t believe how few views this has. A well-researched documentary looking at the history of HIV and how colonialism amplified it’s spread. (Also just a very underrated channel, go watch all of her stuff).

Capitalism and Worker Co-ops  - LonerBox 

Might be the most accessible explanation of workplace democracy I’ve encountered. Focuses on real-life examples and reasonable reforms that even liberals could get on board with. 

A Car-Free Neighborhood in an Old New Jersey Town - Alan Fisher

Mixed-use development is so good guys, like so good. This video’s shorter (about 10 minutes) but does such a good job explaining how small suburbs can function without cars.

How To Be Hopeless - Carlos Maza

Carlos is pretty well known for his work at Vox, but his independent channel is still pretty small. This might be his best work so far. Just a really solid essay on plagues, how they can feel all-encompassing and unavoidable, how they make people feel hopeless. This is also an essay on why rising fascism is a lot like a plague, on how the climate crisis is a lot like a plague, and how do you survive and organize and fight back when you’re living through dozens of plagues all at once.
