Quick question cap! For your Stanley and Narrator, what animals do you think would represent them best ^w^?
i've never really thought about it so 'scuse me while i take this chill question waaaaay too seriously (way more than i thought i would.)
uhhh... y'know what, i think narry would be a peacock. might be basic as a metaphor so he could be another kind of showy bird, but i do like the idea that he's all about showmanship and impressions and aesthetics bc he's a perfectionist at heart. he's prideful and loud and wants to make his opinions known, but ultimately he's also deeply insecure abt the idea of people NOT liking him or his game. and peacocks aren't showy for themselves, y'know, but it is in their nature to strive to be impressive. even if it is to their detriment sometimes.
stanley is difficult bc he doesn't really have a personality. totally subjective based on whoever it is that's characterizing him, right? so he could be anything depending on how you think he feels: if he's a mischievous little shit who defies the narrator of his own will bc he thinks it's funny and enjoys the different ways things can end or change, or if he does it out of a desperate desire to reclaim some part of power in his life despite being trapped in what's essentially an endless loop where he either dies or fades to black. does he take it all in stride? is he just a reflection of narry himself...? or of the player who puppeteers him? are he and the player in cahoots or is it another layer of control he doesn't know he doesn't have?
anyway twitter had a thing where stanley was a ferret and i like that a lot as a concept so. ferrets are cool. maybe he's a ferret.
also could be an argument for narrator being a cat. like. he does spend his happiest moments staring at and chasing after the lights in the zending room. also he's a prat but we all love him anyway even though he would totally sweep things off your desk to annoy you.

What kind of pencils do you use for your sketches? :’D they are really good!!
Aww thank you!!! for anything with colored pencils I use a random mix of caran d'ache watercolor pencils, crayola (?), and derwent coloursofts which are way softer so I typically stick to the first two.
graphite pencil wise though I literally use any pencil in my general vicinity lol (usually a mechanical pencil bc I just like the way they feel) which right now is just one of those bic mechanical pencils that cost next to nothing. I do swap out the lead to B or 2B occasionally but 99% of the time it's just whatever came with the pencil cuz I'm lazy lmao

i think i've finally come to understand why i'm so bad at communicating with friends 👍 at one point or another i've thought i was in love with every single person i've ever been friends with (for the most part, at least) because i don't expect other people to like me. OBVIOUSLY this is not true but platonic feelings are not dissimilar to romantic ones (baseline they're the same: you want to love and be loved by someone) but i always end up realizing that i'm not in love with them, just that they matter to me very much and i wouldn't know what do to w/o their presence in my life. BUT this brings me to facet number 2 of my awful communication skills: i hate it when things Get Real. i find myself retreating any time it seems like Something Could Change in my day-to-day life due to them being around and "forcing" the change. i run away from talking to one of my only irl friends on almost a daily basis bc i dread the idea of having to do anything she might want me to do. i think, at the end of the day, my problem might just be that i don't want to change... ANYWAYS

Yo, question. Are you ever gonna write a psychic Dion Au? I absolutely love that he isn't psychic and it sets him aside from the family but I think a psychic Au where he realizes he's psychic and good at Hydrokanesis would be dope.
Honestly, I've come to a point where whether Dion is psychic or not changes from AU to AU. The one where he can see ghosts? He's not psychic, because he's got something else going on. River Runs Deep? He's partially psychic; he can't use telekinesis or read someone's mind but he does get visions of the past/present/future. Buried Beneath? The story doesn't really work if he's not psychic, so he is. AUs like Ouroboros or Pop Goes the Weasel or Pooter Pile or Rapids? Dion's probably not psychic but since it's not relevant to the story whether he is or not it's not really touched upon.
I've talked about psychic Dion stuff before; but to sum up my general feelings on it:
My interpretation of Dion as a character is someone who deals with unfortunate truths through repression. Him being psychic, but repressing it so hard he doesn't even realize he is, is both hilarious and fitting that interpretation. Him having to work through his own block on his powers and figure out what he even wants to do with them plays into my interpretation of him as someone who's not all the sure who he is outside of his family.
But at the same time, there are a lot of other ways for Dion to work through the issue of feeling tied to his family and the expectations placed on him, and him not being psychic works just as well for his character in the canon storyline. Because ultimately? That's the cool thing about fanon; it's flexible. Dion Aquato probably isn't psychic, but he could be, which opens up a whole different book of interpretations and potential arcs for him.
tl;dr Whether Dion is psychic or not in my AUs depends on which fits the AU's story best; Dion being psychic and Dion not being psychic are both valid and interesting ways to explore his character.

they are terrible for this you have a problem and told them and they make fun of you? that is mean as fuck people who are supposed to care about you should want you to not feel horrible but maybe the friends feel badly for you with that look? like sympathetic?
yeah, but i'm... well not okay with this exactly, but i'm glad that they're respecting these boundaries at least. i'm used to being made fun of though lol, i'll take that then ig
and yeah my friends definitely feel sympathetic towards me, though probably don't know how to react bc they don't quite understand? which again is fair, these thoughts are irrational after all (at least the feeling dirty and scratching/hitting part, though this has probably resulted bc of me not establishing boundaries much earlier where i started to feel uncomfortable with it, which is a valid thing to feel ofc but didn't realise at the time)
