After Kassandra and Evie had returned to London two years ago to help Lydia and the other assassins, they decided it was best to stay for a while. The war still raged and the Germans had been assaulting the city since before they had returned. Evie and Jacob had been helping the Assassins with strengthening the city and fortifying against the Templars' intelligence while Lydia and Kassandra handled the more... hands-on missions. She had set out early in the evening to find this supposed new Templar stronghold on the outskirts of Southwark.

Kassandra could easily meld with the shadows, moving through the smoke and fire and air raid sirens that filled the night with its horrible song until she found herself in an area ravaged by illness. London was fighting a war on two fronts, three if the Templars were to be counted. Between the invading forces and the Spanish flu, the city was not faring well. The advantage the Keeper held was her immunity to illness. She didn't need to hide her face from the stench of death and disease.

Following the intel they had on where the Templars had set up operations, she found herself face to face with something out of one of those awful Penny Dreadfuls she used to find on the train. A woman, hunched over a man, the scent of blood coming from their direction. Unsheathing her hidden blade, Kassandra slowly approached. "Hey! Hey, are you mad? It's not safe out here!" A diversion to see if she could get a better idea of what was happening. The body language from the man didn't suggest this was something as simple as a kiss.

     The Keeper had arrived in Paris a few days ago. The staff had alerted her to a Piece of Eden at risk of being discovered in the area. An active presence of Brotherhood and Templars plaguing the city that was already in the turmoil of revolution. Perfect for her, no one would notice a mysterious stranger in the chaos that tore through the city. There were two particular men she had been tailing, listening in on their talk of Templar business, lower level lackies. Easy to pick off, easier to get information out of. Her trailing had taken her to the outskirts of an old cemetary where she lingered around the perimeter, splintering out from the shuffling crowds to peer out from behind a tree.

Having sad hours and listening to music when this pops up! I can’t believe it’s the first time I noticed they use the word firefly in the lyrics as a pet name - anyways, it got me thinking about what ifs. More specifically, what if the moment Mycheal finally became attached to someone, when he loves them as much as he can, when they don’t want to leave and everything is right, his person dies? The creator has said that when he reaches this point on his “affection scale” that his yandere tendencies would only be triggered if you tried to leave. If you left by dying, one way those tendencies could manifest is him being unwilling to bury or stray far from your body and feeling a deep, soul-wrenching upset every time he notices a new aspect of rot set in. In the hours following your death, as a yandere, he’d probably be in shambles - would he be disoriented enough to forget about rigor mortis? Would he reach for your warmth after stepping away for a moment to collect himself, only to return and find you devoid of it?

So many possibilities
