➨ You watched the Earth and its beautiful nature from a cloud near Heaven as you observed the flock of birds passing through vast cities or mountain ranges or the calm winds swaying the forests of jungles far away from human civilisation.

➨ Gazing down upon the mortal realm, you smiled at how lovely the days seemed but decided to visit Nezha at his temple. Both you and Nezha planned together that you'll be stargazing tonight after completing his duties.

➨ But once you arrived, your eyes widened in shock after seeing a damaged temple before you. You swiftly searched where Nezha could be under the rubble and even tried desperately calling out his name.

➨ After minutes, possibly hours of searching to find Nezha, you had no luck. A feeling of dread overwhelms you as you feel your heart tighten painfully, and you can't help falling down on your knees and crying. 

➨ “Y/N. . .” You heard a soft-spoken Nezha from behind, and you saw him as you turned your head. Clothes ripped off and severally covered in wounds and bruises. He seemed very weak, as standing looked difficult for him, and as you approached him, he fell into your arms.

➨ You decided to take him to your temple, which thankfully was not too far away from Nezha's temple. As you helped him walk, the both of you eventually arrived and told him to lay down on your bed while you looked for the First Aid.

➨ Once you found it, you disinfected the wounds, cleaned the blood from his skin, and carefully closed the wounds with bandages. As much as you wanted to ask Nezha what happened, but his face showed he needed some time before talking.

➨ After finally finishing aiding his injuries, Nezha quietly muttered. "I failed," You turned your attention to him as you raised a brow to hear him repeat himself. "I failed my duties." He sounded burnt out, judging from his tone of voice. You've known Nezha for a long time, and from what you learned, he tends to work himself too much without taking a break.

➨ "Well, I'm certain that's not true-" You tried to reassure him, but Nezha immediately cut you off. "It is!" He snapped at you, and you were frightened by the sudden tone shift. "The Map of the Samadhi Fire fell into the hands of Sun Wukong, and then the Lady Bone Demon took that power and nearly destroyed the world!" Flames of anger flashed in his eyes for a moment while you were ever more concerned than before.

➨ He realised what he had done, so he calmed down and breathed slowly yet heavily. "Apologies for my love. You aren't aware of what has been happening as of late." You noticed how his body looked tense and you knew this little outburst will put some pressure on the wounds. "Here." You softly spoke as you positioned yourself on the bed and massaged his shoulders whilst avoiding his wounds.

➨ "When you're ready, you can talk about what happened." You tell him with a comforting tone, and he feels more at ease once you relax his muscles. "Thank you, Y/N." He explains that the Lady Bone Demon returned, and Wukong foolishly stole the map and gathered all the Rings of Samadhi, which not only led a mortal child to be engulfed by its flame but to be used in her evil schemes.

➨ You continued to calm him down and prevented his blood from boiling and disrupting the healing process, but you were so worried about Nezha fighting a possessed Monkey King and the possible end to the Earth. "Oh, my poor darling." You expressed your distress for your lover before coming close to his face and giving him a kiss on the lips.

➨ Then, that's when you notice the dark circles under his eyes, his dried lips, and his overall exhausted state up close. "Nezha. . .You look tired. When was the last time you slept, drank, anything in that matter." You cupped his face with both of his hands.

➨ "Not since I traced down Wukong in order to get the Rings of Samadhi." He responded with a tired voice. "Wasn't that a month ago?" You replied back, but he didn't answer back while looking guilty.

➨ You didn't notice, but night had already fallen over Heaven, and you saw all the glorious stars and galaxies that could be seen from your windows. "I'm sorry, Y/N." He held your face gently, sounding sincere and guilty to make you so worried. "There's no need to apologise, Nezha," Your voice sounded compassionate.

➨ "You had such a rough time since we last saw each other. Please don't beat yourself up anymore." Nezha was moved by your words and hugged you while you heard the muffled crying sounds. You caressed his back comfortingly as he held onto you and whispered sweet things into his ear.

➨ Once Nezha finished letting out his emotions, you gestured to him to rest his head on your lap, and you massaged his head and caressed his long, dark hair. "The stars sure do look beautiful tonight." You told him, and that's when he remembered his promise to you. "I completely forgot our promise." He recalled, but you responded consolingly, "It's alright."

➨ "But I promise-" You interrupted him. "It doesn't matter. All that matters now is you." He smiled at how kind-hearted you were towards him and observed the skies in your room. "This may not be the best spot, but having you with me makes the experience even better." Nezha softly said to you.

Wukong, soaking wet, threw open the door to his shame temple. He shook off the sea water, grabbing a towel and drying himself off, his fur fluffing up after he did so. Once he was done, he called out to the deity he knew was listening, "NEZHA! We need to talk, I know you're there!" In a flash of pink flames the Third Lotus Prince did appear, his face set in his ever-present serious frown. "What is it, Wukong? Don't you know I have better things to do than-" He was cut off by Wukong jabbing a finger in his face. "I put up with tripping me and making me nearly fall into traffic, I put up with you telling Y/N embarrassing stories about me- and just by the by no it is not weird I sleep with sparkly fleece pajama bottoms on- but I draw the line at throwing me in the middle of the sea when I'm trying to sleep!" The lotus prince huffed and moved aside the finger with his spear. "If you are going to tell lies about me, Wukong, at least make them believable ones. I have better things to do than be insulted." He turned to go, but froze at Wukong's next words. "So says the jealous brat." Slowly, Nezha turned to look back at Wukong, a dark glare on his face. "What did you just call me, ape?"

Wukong, knowing he had gotten under his skin, let a smile cross over his face. The smile stretched enough to show his fangs, his eyelids lifting. "Jealous. Brat. You're just mad because Y/N likes me better. Oh-" he chucked at seeing Nezha's expression darken further. "Did you think you were being subtle? Everyone knows you're obsessed, but you're too blind to see Y/N clearly has picked me over you. Have you ever wondered why Y/N always calls me to hang out? Why they always hold my hand? Why they-" Before he could speak further, Wukong felt Nezha's fist connect with his face, sending him stumbling a few steps back. Feeling the blood from his split lip, the Monkey King began laughing as he looked back up at the seething heavenly prince. "There you go, Nezha! There's that anger!" The Monkey King summoned forth his staff.

"Wukong..." Nezha could feel pink flames appear on his fists. He was trying to keep himself calm, but the idea of Y/N picking this hoodlum simian over him had snapped something. Almost without thinking he lunged forward, spear at the ready. Wukong easily brought his staff up to block the attack, aiming a kick at Nezha's midsection, forcing him backwards as he doubled over. Moving swiftly, Wukong moved behind Nezha to attempt a suplex, but the Lotus Prince jabbed him in the gut with a rather sharp elbow, turning to slam his flaming fist into Wukong's face... ...but stopped an inch away at the sound of a ringtone and automated voice saying: "Call from Y/N" The two stopped in their fighting as they held eye contact. Nezha moved to answer the call, and after a minute or so of listening said to Wukong, "That was Y/N. They wish to speak with both of us, and they said it was serious." Worry for their darling made Wukong frown. "Are they hurt?" "They would not say. This does not end things between us, you know. If you speak one more word against me, especially if it is to Y/N, I will personally drag you down to the final layer of Hell." Wukong raised an eyebrow, his cocky smile coming back as he took a few steps back, rubbing where Nezha had elbowed him. "Likewise, especially if you drop me in the ocean again." An unstoppable force and immovable object competing for the affection of one they hold dear. Whatever the resolution was, it would be far from peaceful. Hopefully Y/N would make their decision before this conflict tore them both apart.

Yandere nezha x reader head cannon

Reader is just a normal mortal that like um.. workaholic (addicted to keep working until their body is extremely exhausted/shut down). Bro like that little overworking need some sleep because they keep consuming caffeine to the point that their friends litteraly just goes "Dude.. get some therapy and sleep, and would you kindly stop consuming caffeine?💀". Also when they get a 4 weeks break they would go "um- can I take a 2 weeks break instead?". Nah they only have 4-6 hours of sleep EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

I bet 100% that nezha will force their darling to sleep by either knocking them out or force them to take sleeping pills- or more🤔

Reader pronounce is they/them (if you decided to make a oneshot or uses their pronounce in a few head cannons)

-Nezha had heard of the mortal concept of "hustle culture" but he never thought it would be anything like this -At first he tried to be rational, just trying to get you to sleep in on weekends, trying to get them to take more breaks -Turns out no his darling is as stubborn as a mule on working themselves to death -It's fine if he just pops a little something in their drink to help them sleep, right? It's what a true lover would do, keeping the health of their darling in mind even if the darling might not know what's best for themselves -OK he got you to sleep an extra 30 minutes that's good that's progress! But maybe if he just used something a bit more potent or a stronger dose... -Therapy would be the best option to break them of this habit but Nezha knows that therapy isn't something everyone goes for, plus he's convinced himself that the need is for immediate action at this point -Of course while you're sleeping that doesn't mean he can't tuck you in...and maybe snuggle up next to them -The issue was where to sneak in the sleeping medicine since he doubted the caffeine would be anything but counterproductive to the fact that he wants them to sleep -His bright idea was instead slowly lessening the strength of the brew while mixing in powdered sleeping pills -The one time he went overboard they slept for nearly the entirety of their day off and Nezha had such a massive anxiety attack over thinking that he might have killed you he began giving you medication in more moderate doses -Truly it doesn't help you that much since you refuse to acknowledge that you need more therapy and less work, but he's doing the best he can, his heart aches with pain every time he sees the circles under your eyes
