Today, content is being exchanged (given and received) at a very rapid speed. Currently, there are two options to create and distribute such content to fulfill different objectives: Content Management Systems (CMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
If your organization is just starting with online learning, you may wonder if an LMS or CMS is the best fit for your needs. Let us look at how these two are solutions are different from each other.

A word from Rella concerning AI, binding and selling fics, and Book 3 of Rávamë's Bane
Hey folks,
I’m treating this post as a bit of a blanket PSA for all those who read my work and follow me here, but I’ll also be copying the message over to AO3 once Book 3 of Rávamë's Bane goes up. Before anyone gets spooked, all is well, I am well, and I’m still happily working on the first 5 chapters of Amabilis Insania. However there are a few glaring subjects that have sprung up in the fandom space that I can’t really ignore. The fanfic community as a whole has changed a lot in the past decade I've been part of it, and given some of the unpleasant stuff I’ve seen going on in just the past year, I wanted to cover some housekeeping points ahead of posting the next RB book.
1.) Please don’t ever bind and sell fanfics. Profiting from fanfiction in any way is completely illegal, and puts the entire community at risk. I’m lucky enough that I’m a relatively small fish in the fanfic pond, so no one has sold bound copies of my story specifically (that I know of). However, I know several folks who have had their work bound and sold without their knowledge, and have had to take their fics down completely to stop it happening (which royally sucks). If you see any fanfics being sold on sites like Etsy, please do report them — they are absolutely not supposed to be there. And if you want a bound copy of a fic for personal use, I'd really encourage you to learn to bind them yourself. There's a tonne of tutorials out there, it’s pretty fun and easy to learn (I picked it up in a couple of weeks) and it doesn’t take as many materials as you’d imagine. Side note: I have made typesets of LM and CM for myself and friends, but honestly, I’m reluctant to share them publicly now given all the above. That said, if you really want a copy of LM or CM for personal use only, you can message me directly on Tumblr and I can maybe look into making a watermarked version to share on request.
2.) In light of the recent news that AO3 was scraped to create a generative AI dataset, I’ve decided I’ll only be posting the final RB book to AO3 from now on. On top of that, all my fics will be restricted to users with AO3 accounts only. I really don’t want to do this as it cuts off guest users from enjoying the story too, but for now it’s the only way to protect my work from being scrapped again. I don’t believe this will be a one-time occurrence given how carelessly AI is being used right now, and I feel very strongly that no one’s work should be used in model training without their consent.
The vast majority of you in my comments, asks and kudos are genuinely wonderful, and I’m so damned grateful that you aren’t a part of the issues above. However, with all that in mind, let me be absolutely clear just for the public record…
!!TRLD: This Is The Important Bit!! You do not, and will never have my consent to: - use any of my writing in generative AI (this includes making AI-generated fanworks, or scraping my fics for training AI models) - bind and sell any of my fanfics (profiting from fanfiction is completely illegal, and puts it at risk for us all) - profit in any way from any of my work that I have publicly shared online (this includes putting my fics on recommendation lists behind paywalls, or selling my fics in the form of typesets or bound copies)
If you do any variation of the above despite knowing the risk it poses to the entire fanfic community, I respectfully hope you spend the rest of your life in clothes that smell damp no matter how much you run them through the dryer.
To the rest of you; a genuine thank you for making the community what it is. And thank you for making the RB comments section specifically such a joyful place to be.
I promise my next post/update will be less grim.
Until then,
Rella x
Edit: Since I literally just had to deal with this happening just earlier today 🙄 You also do not and never will have my consent to:
- advertise any generative AI apps in my review/comments section (Seriously? I firmly believe that generative AI has no place in the writing and publishing world, and more often than not, using it makes you both worse at writing and is no better than stealing from people who took the time to learn to do it well. Keep all that trash out of my comments section.)

Y'all, I might've cooked with this one but idk lol. So, remember the Untitled Goose Game? Where you play as a goose and terrorise the people of a small town while having a to-do list with ways to make the their day as eventful as possible? Yeah, good stuff.
Imagine a similar concept, but with Xibalba in the form of a goose (a dark coloured variation of graylag x swan goose hybrid to be precise), deciding to pull pranks on the people of San Angel on the Day of the Dead, while Candle Maker (as a chicken) and La Muerte (i think she'll be a duck☺️) are tagging along:
To keep an eye on Xibalba so that he doesn't make decisions he might regret later. Just in case;
and because they're simply curious and intrigued, as it's the first time Xibalba decided to turn into an animal in the Realm of the Living with them*.
*I think LM already tried it once and this experience made her love animals even more. CM did it at least a handful of times out of pure curiosity resulting in finding an absolutely coolest way to disguise himself in tLotL (at least in his humble opinion). Maybe he even inspired LM to try it out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
#the book of life#tbol#candle maker#la muerte#xibalba#untitled goose game#🪿🦆🐔#totally adding this concept to the list of ideas I might draw#gosh...they're multiplying in my brain like rabbits xD#vel talks

Sangaku Saturday #4
In the previous info post, we went over the debate on the religious aspect of sangaku, and the fact that the absence of prayers on these tablets was more puzzling to some than the mathematics. As such, the tablets are not ema prayer tablets, but donations, which usually don't feature prayers on them. Case in point, some consecrated sake and French wine seen at Meiji-jingû in 2016.

Beyond wishing for good fortune and health, such donations serve two very worldly purposes: to contribute to the life and prestige of the shrine or temple (having a famous contributor makes the shrine famous by association), and to advertise the donor in return, as their name is on display. See this large torii at Fushimi Inari Taisha paid for by TV Asahi (テレビ朝日).

With that in mind, Meijizen's cynical comment from 1673 that sangaku aim "to celebrate the mathematical genius of their authors" may not far from the truth. The authors of sangaku are looking to gain notoriety through the publicity that the shrine or temple provides. But was the bemused Meijizen the target audience?
More on that in a couple of weeks. Below the cut is the solution to last week's problem.
The solution to the first problem (below the cut in this post) is the key. Name K, L and M the intersections of the three circles with the horizontal line. Then, by using that previous result,
Indeed, as in that problem, we can construct three right triangles, ABH, ACI and BCJ and apply Pythagoras's theorem in each.
Now, it suffices to note that KL = KM + LM, so
or, dividing by 2*squareroot(pqr), we get the desired result:
Inverting and squaring this yields the formula for r:
This gives us the means to construct this figure on paper using a compass and a marked ruler. Having chosen two radii p and q and constructed the two large circles (remember that AB=p+q) and a line tangent to both, placing M and C is done after calculating the lengths IK=CM=r and IC=KM=2*sqrt(pr).

Margaret Hamilton is shown standing beside listings of the software developed by her and the team she was in charge of, the LM [lunar module] and CM [command module] on-board flight software team.
According to Hamilton, this now-iconic image (at left, above) was taken at MIT in 1969 by a staff photographer for the Instrumentation Laboratory — later named the Draper Laboratory and today an independent organization — for use in promotion of the lab’s work on the Apollo project.

"A view of the Apollo 9 Lunar Module 'Spider' in a lunar landing configuration, as photographed from the Command and Service Modules (CSM) on the fifth day of the Apollo 9 Earth-orbital mission.

The landing gear on the 'Spider' has been deployed. Lunar surface probes (sensors) extend out from the landing gear foot pads.

Inside the 'Spider' were astronauts James A. McDivitt, Apollo 9 commander; and Russell L. Schweickart, lunar module pilot. Astronaut David R. Scott, command module pilot, remained at the controls in the Command Module (CM), 'Gumdrop,' while the other two astronauts checked out the LM. Schweickart, lunar module pilot, is photographed from the CM "Gumdrop" during his extravehicular activity (EVA) on the fourth day of the Apollo 9 Earth-orbital mission. The CSM is docked with the LM. Astronaut James A. McDivitt, Apollo 9 commander, was inside the LM "Spider." Astronaut David R. Scott, command module pilot, remained at the controls in the CM."

l feel like a dumb fuck for having believed in cm punk's shoot progressive persona. Just seeing him working in that place, specially with the j. Grant lawsuit going on, made me loose the respect I had for him as a person. The guy is fucking RICH, and the most desired asset for any company. He could go and work anywhere in the world. He can afford to make better choices of employer. Choosing to go back to wwe was a CHOICE. ( I know that no company is morally perfect, but we can all agree that wwe is the most morally disgusting one).
I usually dont judge people for working there (we all got bills to pay, specially medical bills), but punk is one of the very few guys that dont really need to work there.
Also, how can you be a trans rights supporter and still work with a transphobe? Idc if he's "burying" that guy, he is still working with him. The money that Phil draws for wwe, is the same money wwe uses to pay that youtuber's salary.
I still think CM punk is a great wrestler, but I dont have much respect for Phil anymore, and I don't buy his "lm morally superior than thou" BS.

Finally, put these bad boys up, next to my random art I made from a page from a book and a dried-out butterfly. Yes, they are in my "taxidermy inspo corner", just insects and the one bat (which I found dead, so don't worry).

I love the vibes of it all now to keep me inspired to keep studying and eventually get to taxidermy studies to apply for my local shop apprenticeship! I meant to share this the day i put them up, alas, life has been goin and goin these days, i'm just proud i put these up as a treat! <3 Not it lowkey being a TSH and LM crossover moment because i put the little free quote card that came with my "cubitum eamus" bracelet. Also, that little black dictionary next to my sage is Latin teehehehehe.

Also, finally put up my Goldfinch picture too!
