Despite knowing what it means I still do not register 'oomf' as 'one of my followers'. I see it and I hear the Roblox noise.

What is dead dove do not eat? I've never risked even skim reading incase it's something horrifying and for that reason I also don't want to Google it? It sounds scary?
Hi Anon! Thank you for coming to me to ask this!
I understand your hesitation in Googling it--the idea of eating a dead dove is automatically repulsive! And that's exactly the point of the phrase/expression; it is meant to warn Readers away from material that has very high potential for triggering an unpleasant reaction.
It is a content warning, not a genre. Basically if a writer tags their fic as, "dead dove, do not eat", they are warning you that it contains subjects or themes that most people would find morally offensive or triggering. Beyond the typical NSFW stuff, it may cover or describe especially sensitive and controversial explicit topics, such as torture, non-con, etc. The writer is advising you to proceed at your own risk.
I personally would never read a "dead dove" fic from just any random writer, because I don't like to be unpleasantly squicked out. But because the fic I stumbled across was by a friend of mine whose stuff I've read and enjoyed before, I felt safe enough to let curiosity take over and I gave it a shot. That fic still was not to my taste, but the writing was amazing, and I walked away more impressed and than traumatized.
Go with your gut and only go as far as you're comfortable! Writers do what they can to properly tag and label their works for the benefit and safety of readers. "Dead dove, don't eat" is just one of those tags. :) I hope this helps! Happy fic exploring!

TUMBLR PEOPLE I HAVE AN OFFERING
Since the term cubito seemed to catch on, I present to you another fandom slang from a different language:
EATING GLASS
Eating glass means consuming angsty content in the rus fandom circles. I think it's great and fits perfectly. People generally refer to angsty content as glass. Ex. "Mmm tasty glass". It also concerns other people who don't know fandom stuff! Which is just amusing
What other slangs from your language do you wanna see get used more??

I don't understand why people use "oomf" / "oomfs" instead of just "followers".
Like I could get it in the single context of when you want to say "one of my followers". But I'm seeing people use it in sentences where it doesn't make grammatical sense??
"For any of my oomfs-"
"For any of my one of my followers"?
I'm just confused.
And I also don't really see people use it correct anyway? I never see people say "oomfs bought me a taco today" or "I can't believe oomfs said this!". It's usually "One of my oomfs is graduating" or "I had to block one of my oomfs".
It's like "oomfs" has completely replaced the word "followers".

One of my favorite past times is teaching my dad internet slang. Today, we’ve got:
• yassified, and subsequently “yas”
• slay queen
• bussin’
• spill the tea
• no cap
if you got any more, PLEASEE add them, me and dad wanna scar my brother with his use of internet slang HAJAHDJ
alternatively, my dad also shared some old gen-x slang, like:
• “ew, gag me with a spoon,” and
• you go girl
i will keep you updated as I remember more

I introduced my mom and her sisters to the phrase serving cunt during a conversation about the word vagina and they’ve been really excited about figuring out how to use it. The memory of my aunt walking into the kitchen and announcing “I’m a Supercunt!” after fixing the shower curtain rings will be forever burned into my mind
