apologies for the long ass pic but now that ive made a fun little base for myself with farins ref ive decided to do mr lobanov a while back using it and it was a lot easier than what i was planning originally beforehand

Who are the hostages still held by Hamas?

On October 7, 2023, 253 Israelis and foreign nationals were kidnapped to Gaza by Hamas and gazan civilians. Since then, 105 were released in a prisioner exchange deal, 4 were released by Hamas and 3 were rescued.

However, 134 remain in captivity (4 of those were kidnapped prior to 2023). A recent investigation has concluded that more than a fifth of the hostages are dead and the fate of some other hostages remains unknown. This video explains how doctors determine which hostages are dead, based on the nature of their injury and by analyising footage and the victims' last phone calls. Additionally, during the operation in Gaza, the IDF has recovered the bodies of a few victims and returned to their families for burial.

Since I couldn't find this all in one place, I've compiled a list of: 1) hostages who are presumed alive; 2) hostaged whose death has been reported/confirmed; 3) hostages who were released or rescued. In the group of hostages presumed to be alive who haven't been released, the youngest is 1-year-old Kfir Bibas and the oldest hostage is Iraqi-born 85-year old Shlomo Mansour.

As we learn more information, I'll continue to update this post.

They need to come back home. I'm hoping for more successful rescue operations soon. Keep them in your thoughts.

Part one of “Prinxiety AUs based on games by Greg Lobanov because all of his games are incredible.”

Wandersong is such a special game to me. The story is so moving, and the characters are all so fun! Would 100% recommend! If anyone wants to know more about this game, I’d be happy to share! Like I said, this game means a lot to me, and it would mean the world if I could inspire someone else to pick it up.

I know that the Bard isn’t a perfect fit for Roman, being a pacifist who prefers to avoid fighting at all costs. In all honesty, I can see Audrey being a much better fit for him. But Miriam was literally SCREAMING Virgil, both personality wise and aesthetically, and I thought the idea of a little charismatic Bard, someone who moves people with their songs and wants to be a hero, was also a good fit for our favorite Creative Side.

(And I wanted it to be Prinxiety so badly so shhhhhh)

I had the incredible honor of collaborating with @wistful-wish in this year’s @sandersidesbigbang ! You know I can’t resist a good Prinxiety fic. And set in a fantasy AU with half the cast as fae? Virgil as an all-powerful fae prince? Roman as the himbo human prince that Virgil can’t help but fall for? The choice literally made itself for me lol

Go check out Tessa’s fic! She worked SO hard on it and it’s AMAZING!!! Also, go check out the incredible art @briandthemoon did for the fic! It was so cool working alongside such a talented artist, and their art for the fic is absolutely gorgeous!

Summary: Roman makes a silly request, not expecting Virgil to agree. Virgil surprises him.

It’s a quiet day in the Mindscape. For once, Thomas is right on schedule, much to Logan’s delight, and he has no appointments to attend or projects to complete for a while. As such, the Sides were all in agreement that Thomas deserves a day or two to himself filled with junk food and mindless television.

Roman usually despises silence. His flavor of creativity is loud, all bright colors and toe-tapping lyrics intended to capture an audience’s attention. He is most confident with a song on his lips, lyrics weaving around him like silk ribbons. He feels strongest with a sword in his hands and a dragon’s roar thrumming in his eardrums, his own battle cry rising to meet it. He is bold with his movements, headstrong in his opinions, and passionate in his actions. He is Prince Roman, brash and striking and loud. And he loves being loud.

But sometimes, he can appreciate the beauty in silence. He can recall an early morning when he had woken up before anyone else, a curious occurrence for a prince who preferred to sleep in. The common room had been drenched in cool tones, the last dregs of night barely clinging on. He had been pouring himself a bowl of cereal, whistling to himself to fill the suffocating stillness, when a soft beam of gold had pierced the darkness like an arrow to a monster’s heart. The tune Roman had been whistling was suddenly caught in his throat as he beheld the most gorgeous sunrise he had ever seen. Suddenly, the silence had presence, as if it were lifting the sun into the sky. Roman couldn’t breathe for a few seconds, afraid that the sound of his breaths would tear into this gorgeous image and send the sun cascading back down to earth.

The Romanova name was enriched with a strong lineage, for hundreds of years they were among the highest nobility in all of Russia. That is not to say that they have all had the wit and courage to ensure that only the strong survived. For Tatiyana, she was brought up being told her family history in bedtime lullabies, like it was all sweet harmony.

Sometimes she wondered if all womanly sweetness had been spent on her sister’s, and she was left with nothing but bitterness and spite. Tatiyana was not inherently cruel, but she was exceptionally selfish. She did not do things for others without expecting something in return. In fact, unless it was her family, Tatiyana had no interest in another’s welfare.

Spoiled and indulged, she wanted for nothing and refused to share. Tatiyana knew that she was beautiful, knew that she had a mind for politics and pragmatism and most importantly, knew her worth.

When her betrothal to Dmitry Ivanovich Lobanov-Rostovskywas announced, he had pushed her against the stone wall and grunted that he looked forward to their wedding night. Dmitry had arisen in her mouth and she had an immediate rush of loathing for the brutish man. 

Her greatest fear in life was a cage, an inescapable trap filled with ideas that she was a meek woman, just a broodmare to look docile and simper and the sight of her husband.

She waited five years, to wait for the right moment. After all that suffering, Tatiyana felt inspired. The Grand Princess convinced her husband’s man-servant to get the brute drunk while they were on a boar hunt. When she received a letter stamped with the sigil of House Swann, she had almost smirked, but instead looked woeful as she tore open the contents to reveal the death of Dmitry. No one suspected her, how could they? But the surface of her heart grew darker for it.

For a year she lived in the comfort of knowing that her life was tied to no man, but that was how long it took to secure another engagement. But she was less opposed to that man, her blood didn’t curdle at the sight of him. (OPEN FOR PLOTTING)

 OTHER FACTS.

 As a child, she suffered from horrible nightmares.

 Tatiyana has a preference for sweet things, her favorite treat being lemon cakes.

Despite her self-indulged nature, she has a weakness for KIDS and they are perhaps the only people to make her laugh wholeheartedly.

Can dance more than moderately well but has no patience for instruments.

She detests getting wet or being cold, ironically, coming from Russia. So, she is not thrilled to be in Switzerland. 

However, she does refuses to admit weakness and so she keeps her grumblings to herself.

Has an ostentatious style, everything is encrusted with jewels, and she is not scared of showing parts of her flesh ( i.e margery tyrell dress silhouettes ).
