George walks in and stops midway and backs up slowly and runs away.

*Five minutes later they are all standing at the doorway watching y/n likes she’s a alien*

Lockwood with his hand going for the rapier: Y/n, what are you doing?

Y/n looks up: I found this cool picture book, look at this shit. * Holds it up and shows a picture of some dinosaurs*

They all sigh in relief knowing she never reads-Or unsure if she can actually read.

Y/n raises their hand

George: Without slides or trampolines.

Y/n puts her hand back down

Lockwood nods: Okay-

George reading and sensing he’s being watched and looks over to see y/n staring at him

George: What?

Y/n: You’re really pretty.

George: wHAt? * Voice crack*

Them all get ready for the dance and y/n walks in with red lipstick

Lucy: Woah! What lipstick is that?

Y/n: Cursed wife.

Lucy: Can I have some?

Y/n nods: Sure! * Walks over to her and kisses her lips and walks off like nothing happened*

You guys met during a mission. You were a Fitte’s agent, and while Lucy would normally be miffed that Lockwood and Co’s job was getting taken over, there was something about your genuine apologetic look that made her not mind it as much

When she went to bed that night, all she could think about was you fighting off that ghost with expert sword work

But she didn’t expect to see you that often, which was why she was so surprised when you “bumped into her” on the street outside of 35 Portland Row

The exact same way that Kipps did, which made sense since you were on his team

But the thing that was different was that she actually wanted to go out for coffee with you. Especially with how you didn’t even bring up trying to recruit her

You actually just wanted to spend time with her. So Lucy said yes, and you arranged a time and place

The date went wonderful, and Lucy couldn’t wait until the next one.

She was a little worried about getting close to you, not having such a connection with another person since Norrie. She didn’t know if she could bear having someone else to possibly lose.

But she sure is glad that she took a chance on you

It didn’t take long at all for the team to warm up to you, they loved you the moment they saw how happy you made Lucy

(the fact that you could give them intel from Fitte’s didn’t hurt either)

You’d spent a lot of time at Portland Row, in Lucy’s loft. Lying in bed together, talking about anything and everything

You’d train together in the basement, and she’d always say that there was nothing more attractive than you, breathing heavily and eyes sharp after a fight.

Lucy was a bit of a jealous partner, but you knew she meant well. You’d reassure her that she was the only girl who you loved, there was no one you wanted more than her.

She trusted you completely, she was just a bit insecure. But you always made her feel like she was the most special girl in the world

And her love did the same to you. She’s so protect and affectionate, her love for you shining brighter than the sun. Warming you more than that sun as well

You’d always call her “Sunshine”

I've seen a lot of praise for the Netflix Lockwood and co. adaptation. I haven't read the books, enjoyed the show. Lots of people already said a lot of positive things about this series concerning plot, characters, and so on that I largely agree with

You know what hasn't really been talked about?

How BRIGHT and WELL LIT everything is. Like, this show mostly happens at night, with characters running around with torches to see anything, because their job has to be done during the night.

But I can still SEE EVERYTHING.

I noticed that in the graveyard scenes especially. The sky is pitch black, we know it's the middle of the night. But the grass in green and I can SEE IT.

Love them for not going down the path of GOT, DC, and so many more. Of saying "well, it's the middle of the night, so nobody can see anything, and neither can the audience".

Instead they went "we told our audience it's the middle of the night, we're showing it to them, but we're also giving them the opportunity to see what actually happens on screen".

Amazing.

Sweets surprise

George Karim x Reader. (+The whole crew)

Plot: This is a small drabble that I had in mind, so i apologize for it not being long. But like the theme it’s short and sweet, and makes me warm.

Notes: I am on episode six so if there is someone wrong tell me and I apologize.

Warnings: Um..I guess a small hint at suggestive themes. And not even between characters- spelling mistakes.

It was the first time in days the door has had a knock, so Lockwood assumed it was a new costumer with a case. So jumping up from his seat upon hearing the tapping at the door very happily and a glimpse of hope. Lucy follow behind him ready to greet the person and see who was at the door, curiosity always getting the better of her.

Though when he opened the door it was not a new costumer, and though he was hoping for one he was not disappointed. “Hello, stranger.” The smile and cheerful giggle in your voice made them both feel warm.

Lucy had no idea who you were but something about the smile and your energy made her feel comfortable. “I brought some treats, I know the whole ghost fighting can be tough. So I thought I would drop by.” You lifted up a box full of slightly smaller boxes. The wave of the sweet smell hit their noses and they eagerly let you inside.

You followed them down into the kitchen and set everything on the table, you pulled out four boxes and set them out but kept one close to you. “I have cinnamon rolls, little cakes with little ghosts, and then my family’s famous lemon tarts.”

“They smell amazing.” The girl who you presumed was their new partner, Lucy. “Thank you, I work hard on them. But it’s a small payment for what you do to help the city. Are you Lucy?” She look taken aback almost nervously but quickly smiled and nodded.

“I’m Y/n. Anything you need you can give me a call. Nice to meet you Lucy.” You looked at Lockwood and he was putting a lemon tart into his mouth, not caring if it fit or if he could handle it all. “Oh my god, it’s so good.” He moans out loud and it sounded like it was something else. But you had no time to laugh when another voice spoke behind you.

“Not in the kitchen, I just cleaned. If your going to do it might as well-” you turned around and saw George walk in. His eyes met yours and his words stop, he looked shocked to see you. “What are you doing here?” His voice sounded a little harsher then you knew it was meant to be.

But when it comes to him your sensitive. “I brought you biscuits, just the way you like them.” You happily rushed him the box you saved, “Saving the world must be hard, need some food to keep you going.” From behind you the two glanced at each other. Lucy being new to you but she saw what was happening.

“Thank you..” he slowly took the box from your hands and for a moment it was silence. It was a little awkward, especially since you two were looking right at each other. But, your friend came to the rescue.

“George, why don’t you show them the new artifact from the last case.” You saw how quickly the gears shifted behind his eyes and a smile quickly went to his lips. “Yes. I must show you, come with me.” He put the small box into one hand and took your hand with the other and pulled you down the stairs into the basement.

The kitchen was quiet for a moment but then Lucy turned to her boss and friend. “Does that happen a lot? Is that his partner? I have so many questions.” The boy chuckle and rolled his eyes at his friends that just disappeared.

“They are a mystery even I can’t salve, but it doesn’t take a master to know those two like each other. But, if you’d like I can tell you every detail while we enjoy these delicious pastries.” And she gladly accepted his offer.
