Theirs something I just remembered: Trains exist
I know that sounds stupid but hear me out. For anyone not from America or spent time in America we’ve severely underutilized and undervalue trains. As I understand it plenty of other countries even in Europe use trains a lot more often. Our tracks are withered and poorly maintained, we’re behind the times when it comes to them, and it’s for a simple but stupid sounding reason. Automobile Lobbyists. Theirs people in the car industry that want cars to be the end all, be all. If you want to travel cross country and don’t want to use a car then you use a bus or a plane and both are extremely overpriced compared to other countries as a result. Theirs clean fuel efficient trains already but most Americans don’t know that and the ones that do have drank the “cars are better” sauce.
Do you realize how environmentally friendly and economically friendly it would be if we started promoting trains again? Plane prices would go down, we’d have to stop spending crap tons of money just to leave the state, tourism would increase and be more accessible. It’s a good thing for literally everyone except the Automotive Industry.
Let this be a call to action to anyone who sees this. Spread the word of you can. Let other people know this information and inform your local government if you happen to be American.

A mellanoid Advanced Steam tank engine, for use in shunting, industrial shortlines, and branch lines. This particular class has variants designed for burning coal, oil, or biofuels. Note the large covered fuel bunker atop the saddle tank. Like most Advanced Steam locos, it has compound cylinders to expand the steam twice for more efficient operation.
The above loco is pictured with the same livery used by the Slaibsgloth Coal Mine engines, so this might indeed be one of those. However, here are some alternate liveries for fun.

Steam 2-8-2 SY #1676 in Baotou, China, 2008 by Ben Kletzer
The spectacular slag dump at Baotou steelworks as seen with SY #1676. At one time, Baotou had dozens of steam locomotives in daily service, but by this point in 2008 only seven SY 2-8-2's remained. Already most of these steam locomotives were idle every day, while a massive fleet of new diesels served the steelworks. The once bustling steam shop was already barren of equipment and awaiting demolition. But all of this could be forgotten while watching a SY struggle with 1200 tons of molten steel on the slag tip. Within a six months, the steel mill would be fully dieselized and SY 1676 would be nothing more than razor blades.

Once again I've been tasked with creating a railway poster design for a RWS AU! This one's a bit more modern, advertising "Military Industrial" - a munitions factory with rail connection - and featuring the diesel residents Michael the Ruston shunter and David the BR class 52.
This was commissioned by www.instagram.com/haraldshead/ to accompany his layout of the same location. Although styled after The Railway Series, there's more than a bit of TUGS influence too!
I thought harsher colours would better reflect the industrial atmosphere, but the diesels themselves are friendly fellas! You can see more of them on the layout.
