what's the first podcast you remember keeping up with? and what's the latest one you're following right now?

ok so first uhhh audio nonfiction was read it and weep? id say that was the first one b/c like ...im still following them and the other ones are kinda lost to the tides of time but shit i got into tht in my gaiaonline and days godamn subscribed to tht on my ipod touch. In 2010 i was a part of the sponcon forum for Vampires Suck and they posted lots of anti-twilight parody stuff there and i got curious and searched for some podcasts that discussed twilight. I was rlly into tg\/\/tg content at the time so grown men being hypercritical of media aimed at teens was very much My Thing and so i guess i subscribed to know criticisms abt books tht id Nvr read but still wanted to talk abt w my fellow book nerds

 I subscribed to a lot of ‘video podcasts’ when i had a zune so technically those are earlier (rotten tomatoes show,jake and amir, collegehumor, onion news network,stuff they dont want you to know, the guild) but imo i dont consider those podcasts fkjefoiejioio theyre all just webshows tht zune had like a partnership or sth with to market themselves as the Video player. 

My first audio drama was wtnv in summer 2013 b/c of an anne/leslie moodboard au for night vale.....( n then.....*rcasoup happened n i soured on it in..... 2014? Jesus thts rlly depressing actually? i didn’t ever look at the timeline b4 but yeah i  jumped ship b/c of shitty performative but not actually anti racists in fall 2014. Yeesh oh fuck man o man tht bums me out a lil bit bc at the time it felt like i was into it for a long time but i spent more time Not into it than.....into it?)

So the latest podcast i subscribed to on my feed is the podopalooza one .... but idk tht feels like a copout jkfioefiofe I havent gotten into any new audio fiction since march bc my brain is tooooo fried but i did enjoy Seventh Daughter. I enjoyed the episodes of Believer i listened to. The Latest Latest outside of podapooza is Rabbit Hole (yes i did subscribe b/c im miss d@n powell weird audio production but cant bring myself to relisten to a81 or any audio fiction ) and i like it!

u can give ur playlists descriptions on the spotify desktop app but freal 8tracks with its centralized tags was The shit and i'm so sad that we're likely never gonna get anything like it again 😔

oh damn, that’s news to me, thanks! but yeah, 8tracks had all that very good fandom content and tags that spotify lacks or at least you have to look a lot harder for it.

it's a good book and probably developed my sense of humor as well as my love for mutually pining idiots

I like it cuz it feels very well contained and all the strings tie up.  Stuff that is introduced usually relates to something that comes up later.  I like how some of the stuff added in the show doesn’t feel like it was added extraneously, like how in the ending they [REDACTED].
