hnghhhh I’m going insane thinking abt how much effort was put into making BSD’s main characters reflect the works of the authors they’re based on!! i seriously recommend picking up some of their works if you want insight into the BSD characterization it’s soooo interestinggggg (or if you can’t at least go check out @bsd-bibliophile they’ve got sooo much good stuff!!!)

#also they’re just. classics anyway #completely separate from him being my fave in bsd i am OBSESSED w nakahara-sensei’s poems theyre soooo good #ok well not completely separate bc of the. yknow. characters whole personality inspired by the poems anyway #but u get what I mean #asagiri you may not always make plot choices I understand but by god ur characterization and the amount of detail… ough #bungou as a sort of modern response to classic literature is absolutely FASCINATING to look into #bsd #bungou stray dogs #bungo stray dogs #chuuya nakahara

A) keep the eyes in my art style (no colours, just the highlight), bc ngl it makes him seem more babey (pic 1),,, or

B) add the mako-glow to the eyes so i could be lore-accurate.... also I spent a lot of time!! on colouring in those pixels!!!!! dammit!!!!!!!!! (pic 2) and

C) OF COURSE i was struggling to choose between the white and red backgrounds!!!!! evil me!!!!!!! making difficult creative decisions!!!!!!

i will,,,, try to draw the other peeps as well (mj as tifa and gwen as aerith ,,, mmm yesss esysey yes ssss) but i fear the monkey brain has already died........ i will try tho,,,,,,,,,,
