Him currently in the kitchen, humming softly as he cook breakfast for both of you, it's his turn today. You knew he didn't have the heart to woke you up sometimes, but there are times you asked him to wake you up early to attend an important meeting.

But today is a lazy day, you woke up quite late than usual today, and you believed Shu did not get enough sleep by looking at his schedule for streaming.

You didn't say anything as you stare at him from the entrance of the kitchen, you then silently approached him and placed both of your hands on his waist. Kissing his neck, earning a soft whimper from him.

"G, Good morning babe..." He greeted you, stuttering a bit. You chuckled softly, "Good morning Shu, did you get any sleep last night?" The silence was so loud after you asked the question, revealing that the man did not go to sleep again last night.

"Shu." He flinched a little when he heard you call his name in a rather scolding tone, "I thought we've talked about this already" disappointed on him, he immediately turned around and hugged you. "I, I'm sorry, I was, too.. invested, in playing that I didn't realize the sun have already risen" he apologized, you hummed as you gently hold his face.

"You know what happened if you didn't go to sleep right?" Shu's eyes widen when he knew what you meant, his cheeks slowly turning pink as he started to stutter, "I, I can't decline now, ... aren't I?" You stared at him, smiling at him. And him knowing you so well, he knew he couldn't escape.

You can see how his adam's apple moved ever so slightly, you leaned closer to his neck and you can hear him stuttering out a small whine, "I.. ah-.." you placed your lips on his adam's apple, you then trailed your lips up to his jaw, you then whispered into his ears.

"If you keep this up, I'll have to make you go tired myself" you leaned away, to see his half lidded eyes, staring at you, cheeks flushed, "I'm..sorry.." he sounded like he's whimpering as he apologized to you, begging for your mercy.

It went from the kitchen and now on the bed, him, underneath you, hickeys on his collarbone, neck also chest. Him breathing heavily, cheeks flushed red.

Him, whining and whimpering as you continue your onslaught upon him, your lips on his ear, "You can handle this, right?" You asked, receiving a whine from the Sorcerer, him pulling you closer already gave you an answer, you chuckled and kissed the corner of his lips.

Lucienne shakes her head as Matthew cocks his head the way birds do at the sound of laughter echoing in the library. The raven hops on the table as he watches his master and the Valkyrie recount whatever it was they were recounting.

"My lord," Lucienne interrupts them, causing them to turn to each to her in sync, "I have found the book you are looking for."

"Ah yes," Dream nods, extending his hand out to the librarian, "thank you, Lucienne."

Log 1: A Battle of Hypotheticals

Lucienne eyed Matthew hotly, muttering under her breath, repeatedly, "don't do it, do not do it, don't you dare do it."

Matthew did it anyway.

"Hey, miss Valkyrie," the raven says, fluttering to my side of my shoulder as I make my way to the throne. I turn to the black feathered creature and smile, "oh, hello, sweet raven. How can I be of assistance?"

"Yeah, I was just thinking," Matthew starts, "you're one of the strongest beings in the galaxy."

My nostrils flare, "I am flattered that you think this."

"So, I was wondering: who would win in a fight between you and Dream?"

I freeze in my place, right in front of Dream who was sitting on his throne. He closes the book in his hand with a loud thud upon hearing Matthew's question.

The two of us begin to get nervous under the King of Dreams' stare.

"I..." I start "would never want to be on the bad side of your master-"

"No I know!" Matthew croaks quickly, making Dream lift his head up, "It's just-- without his powers, I think you could take him."

I turn to Matthew, who was looking down at me from my shoulder. I did not know why he was suddenly telling me this, and I ponder at his words before retorting, "I agree."

"You agree?" Matthew mutters.

Dream's deep voice echoes, "you agree?"

Log 1.2: A Battle of Strength

"This is all your fault," Lucienne sighs, crossing her arms as she watches the king and the warrior ready before them in a 'friendly' sparring match.

"Hey! I thought they'd have some cute banter, then I would-"

"They do not know how to banter!"

"What do you mean they don't know how to banter, that's all they do!"

"That's just how they speak to each other," Lucienne snaps.

"Hey, I didn't think he'd pull out a fucking sword!" Matthew watches Dream as he twisted the massive weapon in his had. It was ridiculously large that, in theory, he should not have been able to lift in the first place. "What the heck even is that- WHY IS IT ON FIRE!?"

Lucienne rolls her eyes.

"Are you certain you can take me while you are unarmed?" Dream asks for the 3rd time as I roll my neck.

"You're not allowed to use your powers, my lord," I stretch my arms, "I would be distressed if I offended you by either holding back or defeating you too quickly."

Dream's laugh is deep and rich, "you know me too well."

Matthew gasps, "You know me too-"

"Oh shut it!" Lucienne cuts off

Log 1.3: Fatality

"Boss," "My lord," & "Dream," is shouted three ways.

"I knew this would happen," Lucienne mutters as she rushes over while Matthew flies over head.

I was on my knees, hunched over the form that was effectively knocked out on the floor with a bloody nose. I was lightly and rapidly slapping his cheek as my other hand holds his head up by his nape, "Dream. Dream. Dream. Dream, wake up."

"Nice shot!" Matthew says, landing right beside his boss' head.

"MATTHEW!" Lucienne and I shout.

Matthew croaks.

It seems the loud shout was enough to wake the Dream Lord.

I let out a sigh of relief when he begins to groan and stir.

"My lord," Lucienne sighs, relaxing, "I warned you that it would be a good idea to do this, even with Dragon's Breath."

Dream does not seem to hear her as he reaches out to touch my cheek, "you've grown stronger through the centuries."

Matthew gasps, "You've grown stronger throu-"

I chuckle as I give him a guilty look, "My lord, I did not intend to-"

"Nonsense," Dream smiles with his teeth, thumb rubbing my cheek, "you were exquisite."

"But your nose is bleeding," I whimper, pulling him up until he was sitting down.

"I told you that it was pointless," Lucienne plainly mutters under her breath as she flips the page of the book she was lazily reading.

No one could hear her though from where she sat at the far end of the long table as the lot of the Dreaming congregated in the library to discuss their bids and bets.

"How are we so sure that your logs are accurate and they haven't already confessed!" Cain accuses Matthew as the rest of the members of the table break out in an uproar.

"Yeah! You could be scamming us for our money!" Abel agrees, pointing a finger.

"Well, maybe because I'm not the one who's taking the bets, and it's Gilbert!" Matthew says snapping at Fiddler Green's human form.

Gilbert clears his throat as everyone at the table turns to him.

"You dirty cheat," Cain says.

Gilbert raises his hands, "I can assure you, Matthew's logs are accurate because I have witnessed most of these logs myself during their strolls in Fiddler's Green."

"I say we shake him down for all the loose change he's got," Mervyn points his gloved finger to Gilbert before crossing his arms, making another uproar resound in the library.

And yet all it takes to silence them was an "oh."

The whole room turns to me.

"I'm sorry to have interrupted your meeting," I throw my thumb over my shoulder, "I'll just leave."

"Nonsense," Lucienne stands from her seat, "they were all just leaving, actually. You may continue whatever business it is that you need here."

"Oh, yes," I smile, "I was actually in search for the king. I have word of his-"

"Have you kissed him yet," Cain asks out of nowhere, making me slap my hands on my lips. My eyes grow wide, "I beg your pardon?"

"I do not understand why you would accuse me of such a treasonous thing."

"Treason huh," Mervyn shakes his pumpkin head at my words.

We all turn to the side when my name is called out.

My cover my entire lower face with hand when Dream comes up to my side. His brows knit at the looks of me, "are you quite alright."

Everyone but us watches the room when it begins to darken.

Dream, once he is stood before me, shoots a dark glare to his side, making everyone evade his look, "did they say something to offend you?"

I feel my body begin to burn in embarrassment at his words. When Dream turns back to me and reaches out to touch my arm, I flinch then run away.

A breath leaves him as he watches, and soon enough, his form begins to grow bigger. If that did not strike fear in you, I don't know what will.

"IT WAS ABEL!" Cain shouts, pointing to his brother, "ABEL ASKED HER IF SHE KISSED YOU YET!!!"

"What?" Abel helplessly mutters.

Aww thank youuuu I love that top so much! 🥰 it's definitely more decorative though 😂 it's kinda meshy material so too much tugging would probably tear it! The rings could probably be used to hold decorative bondage in place 🤔 in theory I like both! (Apart from a tiny bit of self bondage with too short rope I haven't experienced either 😭) and I think I'd rather be restrained and played with, the helplessness would feel.. phew 🫠 being powerless (with safe words set up though obvs, safety first folks) to stop whatever they wanted to do 🤤

So... I usually (ejem... better said always, if I'm being honest XD) choose femShep in Mass Effect.

Long story short, I like to play characters in my own gender... Kinda helps a lot with the immersion, despite the fact that I look nothing like my main Shep. And, in the wise words of my brother: "If I'm gonna have to stare at an ass for hours of gameplay, I prefer it to be a woman's ass" (Nothing against men ass' on my part though... I mean, I'm a Kaidan stan 😳😳😳 but I'm week when it comes to females curves ehehehehehe sue me XD)

Anyways... Butt thing aside, I always play femShep. And the same femShep, Mio Shepard. Because I got the fanfic writer disease back when I was like 13 years old and I haven't found the cure yet, so... All I play, write and draw (because I didn't have enough obsessions already lol) related to the main ME trilogy is about my main shep and Kaidan.

I swear I'm about to make my point, stay with me for a little longer XD

Thing is, with the launch of MELE, I decided to see the mShenko romance for the first time (yep, first time... I imagine you can already tell, but I'm that kind of person that once she likes a game, she plays it a 1000 times but always in the exact same way and making the same choices in every single run).

So here we are, a year later, and here's the post about it 😅😅😅

As I told you before, I tend to focus on fShenko. I love the Shenko fandom as a whole, but from what I've seen and from the people I follow, fShenko is in need of more help, support and content than mShenko (I may be wrong here... but the moment your femshep likes dudes people tends to scream at you why you shouldn't be with Kaidan and my mission in life is to always be there to reply that idgaf about how many aliens they think I should bang XD)

Said all that, mShenko.

It's fucking awesome.

Period.

Like... Truly amazing.

Mesmerizing.

I may be biased here, because Kaidan's arc with his sexuality is very similar to my own, but, the whole "At the end of the day, I'd love you no matter what gender you were" is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my whole life.

I was also very surprised by the amount of differences there were between both romances... Both of them top tier. And, against all my expectations, I can comfortably say that they are equally good. So if you love Kaidan and you've only seen one side, I really recommend you to check the other (learn from my mistakes ehehehehe although I think I've enjoyed mShenko 10 times more than I would have before making a few discoveries about myself... so I'm kinda happy it took me so long. Now it feels more special to me <;3)

fShenko has all the young, pure~ish, forbidden, cute and heart-racing vibes in ME1 *chef's kiss* and then (after a bit of angst) you have the mature, long-lasting, I'd die for you romance that we all deserve.

mShenko, on the other hand, is more Kaidan focused in my opinion, which I truly like, and his realization of what is love (🎵) and what Shepard really means for him, which I find extremely cute and beautiful.

And I'll admit, I'm the first to complain about Bioware (perks of being a forever resident of the shenko vortex) but I have to congratulate them on the way they wrote mShenko in ME3.

I really thought it would be ultra cringy and forced, because that kind of evolution is not the easiest to write, but I was sooooooo wrong and I'm sooooooo glad that I was. So yay~ to Bioware on this one!

So, yup... I wanted to do a quick post and here we are now, an hour later ehehehehehe 😅😅

Anyways, and to wrap this up, just sharing an opinion (or ten) here... I was just thinking about it today and I felt like writing a post about it (there's always room for more Kaidan appreciation posts <3).

Heck, I love looking at your writing (sentence can end here) and seeing what Anton's doing subtly. Like the almost nonsense injections to pass the time and to try to encourage Dew to pull stuff to check out the mind control and then the punishment of being made to stay still while being injected with stuff to get him over the fear of needles (with questionable success) had me Feral, like when Anton forced Dew to get over it enough to ask for the pain killers before he thought it was going to kill him (I might have to send a separate ask about that scene alone, it plays in my head Often)

Anyways I shall haunt thy ask box no longer (for now) but yes, I am so normal about the chicken. It is good size, perfect for hug. The plush is also very nice and definitely didn't spend ten minutes solid with it consuming my thought when I first saw it. (sorry if you did get all the like notifs)

I had the thought that Chloe and Bakugou are like inverses of each other.

Chloe is supposed to be a flat character who is a Bad Person (because someone's entire moral compass can be written as 'bad' and can be determined at all as a child) but the writers keep accidentally making her sympathetic while Bakugou is supposed to be going through a character arc but the writer keeps including scenes of him attacking people for no reason all the way up to The Late-Series War Arc (I am disrespectfully looking at you, Chapter 253) leaving both of them with a lot of potential that's undercut by the stories they're in.

Also just occurred to me that they're mirrored in how Bakugou is generally liked in-universe and Chloe very much is not. I'd better stop now before I write a whole essay

Uh anyway I guess my point is, sometimes Death of the Author is a declaration of war and thank goodness for Ao3.

I mean.

Someone somewhere had a good essay re: how it seems like Bakugo is both the same but different and it's weird. I can't remember if it was on here or if it was a tiktok but it was summed up in two points.

1.) Character Development =/= Personality Change. Katsuki is a grumpy motherfucker who will insult people and roughhouse with them. No amount of learning to be better will change that. He can learn to tone it down, to be clear about what he's trying to say, to fix things when he genuinely hurts someone. But he's not going to magically become soft and sweet and smiley.

Is this still an issue? Eh. While Katsuki should learn to be more considerate of other people as a whole, he is under no obligation to change who he is to please others. The trick to this is communication, finding people that are genuinely okay with him being like that, and avoiding people who aren't into it(respectfully, not derogatorially.).

2.) In a fictional medium, comically exaggerated actions, gags and slapstick exist. Katsuki blowing up at someone or causing harm that falls into this category /does not count/. It is not something to be taken seriously. It's. I had this same conversation ages ago in the fma fandom about Winry hitting people with a wrench. It's a comedic thing that does not genuinely matter, the characters are not genuinely harmed.

For example, you mention chapter 253. That has Katsuki throwing the pointy part of his costume at Izuku's head. Everyone panicks for a moment but immediately cuts to them all in costume for the day, Izuku still having the costume piece stuck in his head, and All Might is making cotton candy.

That is a /gag/. It's supposed to be laughed at, not taken seriously. If it was taken seriously, then there'd be more than a panel of panic, and the boys would've dragged Izuku to get medical attention. Not just let him walk around with the piece in his head and go to class.

The character moments that matter are the /serious/ moments, not the gags. The apologizing, the working to be better, the taking Izuku seriously as a fellow Hero. So on and so forth.

This can get.....tricky to balance. That's why Mineta's bullshit doesn't work despite him being a gag character. If it happens often enough/overshadows genuine character moments, it can lead to the audience taking it seriously regardless of intent.

But the general rule on how seriously to take something like that is to see how the characters react to it. Do they take it seriously? Or is it just a few moments of ?!?!??!.

re gender: so i see a lot of people basically just assert "andrey is presented terribly."

first of all, i think andrey is presented sympathetically and respectfully for most of the movie. he's one of the good guys! he is often failing to perform femininity and masculinit at the same time. i understand this is hard to watch and many people would not like to see it. i think the main case where the film is disrespectful to andrey is that uh, for some reason andrey is attracted to goncharov and objectifying towards him in a way that i don't think is really very consistent with his character up to that point.

second of all, the movie extremely deals w/ gender issues, in a way that is not isolated to Andrey. like literally _textually (see: scene where Andrey Opines About His Upbringing: Goncharov's discussion of the criminal's motives) i think people whose entire analysis of the film's view on gender is "well, Andrey was portrayed disrespectfully in several scenes" are not wrong, because people should be able to nope out of things that make them uncomfortable, but objectively they're not perceiving most of the film's content on the topic

thirdly, i think the film would work worse if andrey were uh, presented in a less discomforting way. joe and andrey are both looking for an effortless performance of gender, the sort of thing Katya has. andrey is the thing joe _really_ does not want to be. i kind of think it makes sense to try to elicit cisnormatie reactions from the viewer because you want them to feel tension when evaluating that

what is it actually saying about gender? uh, it's not written didactically enough to get you specific sentences. it's certainly trying to get you to contrast performative acceptance with effortless acceptance. (basically what post-death andrey gets in the forest scenes) it's hinting at the idea that people who are trying to win at Gender are not as succesful as people who are not even trying to participate in that activity, like Sofia and (implicitly) Joe's mom. i have to freely admit i like what it's doing aesthetically _very much_ and don't feel a need for there to be a moral message or w/e here

I got a raise and more hours at the job that I share with Cute Boy™ and it is enough of an opportunity/pay increase that I was able to quit my third job so now I will have a little more free time, get to see Cute Boy™ more, and won't have to deal with my really shitty boss (if I were not incredibly introverted, socially awkward, and just generally averse to confrontation irl I probably would have called HR on this dude multiple times tbh).

Since you said we can talk to you about anything, I'm gonna talk about your interpretations of two characters in specific.

Scaramouche would be the first! I remember reading the descriptions of both reverse comfort videos, and honestly, I like your analyses! And of course, your top-notch voice. Not a lot of people talk of the trauma that he has, and I found that to be a pity because you can do a lot with that!

And then there is Subject 2 as the second. A lot of people interpret him as Yandere and don't get me wrong, they're not bad, they can do whatever they want. But I like more your interpretation (correct me if I'm wrong) that he is just a little dude which just appreciates a lot the person that gave him a bit of affection without holding it above him, like Gold probably would do, and that he just wants someone to appreciate him as he is.

In conclusion, I like my characters being a sad, wet dog (joking... or maybe? 🤨)

Godddd this makes me so happy! so like, for as much as I absolutely adore Genshin and watch tons of lore videos and read about all of it… I’ve actually never played it firsthand, because my computer doesn’t have the storage space for it… I tried to install it and was told I didn’t have enough space, so, the dream died XD

that means I can sometimes be a little insecure in my portrayals of characters and sometimes I get a little depresso espresso over it. but knowing that people like my interpretations of them just makes me grin! even though I have yet to actually play this game (I’ll get there at some point hhhh!!) I am extremely passionate about a lot of the characters and I want to create good content of them!

more people should delve into Scara’s trauma… like, not only is it good reverse comfort material, he needs to talk about it!! recovery only starts when he begins to open up and share it with people, and develop bonds with others that allow him to open up in the first place. a romantic partner is a good place to start opening up! it’s ok fandango man you will get to a better place eventually, just let people help you- XD

AND AS FOR DORIAN!! aka Subject Two, Susbedo, Rubedo, whatever you wanna call him… oof. I have so many feelings about him, I am looking both respectfully and disrespectfully, and he’s so exactly the type of character I love. I’ve seen the yandere take on him quite a bit, and yeah, like you say, don’t get me wrong, I can absolutely see why people would take him in that direction! but personally, he doesn’t seem like a full-on yandere to me… and this is coming from someone who’s been known to fall for yanderes! (Cole from Blush Blush, I’m looking at your Cyno-VA-sharing smooth voiced ass)

Dorian is just this broken, pathetic, jealous little mess of a man who desperately wants what Albedo has… and sees no other way to get it other than to take his place. he doesn’t think he deserves good things, because Rhinedottir/Gold told him he was a failure and left him for dead for seemingly just existing (like, there doesn’t seem to be anything ‘wrong’ with him, you know? so it’s like, what the FUCK was even her reason there?)… but he really wants those good things. he doesn’t want to take the good things from Albedo, but he doesn’t know how else to go about getting them for himself. he wants to be loved and accepted without someone attaching conditions to it or expecting him to be something or someone else.

and, of course, that said… once he starts living with Albedo and they come to actually be brothers, you would not BELIEVE how quickly he warms up to that sibling affection and how fiercely he would protect his little family. he goes from wanting to kill Albedo to replace him, to being 10000% ready to destroy any threat that tries to kill Albedo.

… anyway I could literally talk about Dorian in particular FOREVER. if I ever get the opportunity to write a thesis on a fictional character it will be HIM!! I have so much to say about him.

Macaw- hands. he likes marveling at how different his bone hands are to their fleshy ones.

Lupo- Hair. He finds it so new and strange! Loves watching it on super windy days- even if S/O doesn't.

Falcon- Face. The face holds so many little tells and movements. A small smile, or a crinkle of an eye showing that S/O is trying not to laugh. Every little micro movement. Also fun to pinch.

Jackal- Chest. It's where the Soul is, and he likes lightly dragging his claws along the skin and getting reactions.

Jay- Shoulders. Perfect spot to massage a stressful day away... And perfect spot for surprise kisses~

Fox- Not a body part, but voice. He's definitely more suited for long distance relationships, so hearing his S/O's voice would be his favorite.

Crow- Neck. Another good place to put kisses, and it's where scent is strongest.

Hound- Butt. Straight up just likes to lift or touch. Hehe soft.

Vulture- He's for thighs. Lotta meat there, very comfy... maybe just a little nibble?

Hyena- He is looking respectfully at them hips. Maybe disrespectfully too.

Robin- Eyes. Like Falcon, it's because of the emotion you can find there.

Dingo- Stomach. No further comments.
