Considering writing a Much Ado About Nothing esque fic between Hangman and Y/N for like idk Mav and Ice getting married (I'm overriding Ice's death) where exes of you and Hangman are also invited (obviously) so in true much ado about nothing fashion you and hangman pretend to be dating maybe there's only one bed. Anyways, lmk what y'all think and if you have any suggestions/ideas and what not

So I have the idea for a superpower that is Telekinesis that only works on belts

The question is, what all counts as a belt?

Obviously any clothing item that gets called a belt in language

But what about things like conveyer belts? Or clothing items not called belts that have a similar function?

What if you make something specifically for the person with beltekinesis and call it a belt? Does it have to resemble a belt? Would slapping a buckle on it make it subject the the power?

I have many questions and I would Love some input!!! Pls gimme your thoughts!

It's incredible that chess.com, the self- proclaimed #1 chess community, doesn't offer adequate accessibility features.

They're lacking subtitles on videos, despite it being suggested over 10 years ago and with people volunteering to add them. There have been requests to add better accessibility for those with visual impairments as well as those who struggle with coordination.

There's probably a ton more that I'm missing. I don't mean to exclude them, I just don't have the energy to deep dive into it right now (due to my chronic illness).

Anyone more knowledgeable about this stuff? Anyone else notice this? Is there anything that can be done? Any other thoughts/insights?

Looking for Suggestions/Input

Something non-fanfic-related!

I am in the process of creating a collection of forms/tools for everyday things.

I know in certain situations, I instinctively look to create a form or spreadsheet to help me with organizing my thoughts/processes because I forget things and get easily overwhelmed, so having something concrete before me makes it feel more manageable. Examples I've done: forms to take with me when doing car test-drives to keep track of what I like/don't like and what I think of the vehicle and dealership, forms to help me organize the search for a new house and keep track of what changes will need to be made in the moving transition, or forms to help me plan/organize a vacation.

So I would like to find out if anyone has something they *wish* existed, something to help them with an everyday issue/situation. What would help make your life a little easier?

Big problem or small, they all need help sometimes, and often the thing that makes us think "I'm so dumb for not knowing how to handle this" is something that MANY of us have problems with, and just feel too embarrassed to speak of it.

And if you've seen tools like this before that you found didn't work for you because of specific issues or features, feel free to tell me about what didn't work - knowing what people *don't* want is as important as knowing what they *do*.

(In case you're wondering, my background is administrative - I spent over a decade working as an admin assistant for various employers, from hospital managers to a Member of Parliament, and administrative problem-solving was always the most satisfying part of the job. )

if ONLY because i was at work yesterday out in the play yard and one of the babies from the one year old room walked up to me, held up her arms and went "up. up" and i caved like a wet fucken nOODLE and im inflicting that onto Bruce

so im just picturing like, roughly 18mo Danny, just absolutely teeny, walking up to Bruce in the Batman suit, grabbing his cape and pulling on it to get his attention or plastering himself to the side of his legs (<- real experience i've had) and when Bruce looks down at him Danny just goes "Bah-man, bah-man. Up."

and im teLLING YOU. Bruce would cave in a fucking heartbeat.

or if he crouches down, Danny will just crawl onto him anyways. wraps both arms around his neck and tries to raise his leg over his knee so he can wrap himself around his waist (<- ALSO A REAL EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD)

also he can't fully articulate himself yet, he doesn't have all of his teeth quite yet and phonetics are harD, so he can't say Bruce it just sounds like "boo" or "booce" like 'boost' but without the 't'.

Something I think about a lot is how the 13th Doctor clearly has dyed-blonde hair. She has visible dark roots. This can mean two things: Either Time Lords can just... regenerate with funky, non-natural-human hair colours (perhaps like how Time Ladies always seem to regenerate into a full beat of makeup..), OR that the regeneration energy of 12 to 13 fried her otherwise naturally brown / black hair into a blonde.

Of course, the latter leads to so much potential. Does the Doctor now have to upkeep her dye job? Does she disappear sometimes for "five minutes" only for Yaz to stare disapprovingly at her grown-out roots? Has any of the Fam ever taken her to a hair salon or does she bleach her hair in the TARDIS console room with a jug of water and some totally-safe-don't-worry Space Bleach that nearly sets the console on fire when she bumps into it? Where is all the art of 13 with dark hair?

I need answers.
