Hazbin Hotel Beach Trip! Headcanons ;)

Characters: Charlie, Vaggie, Alastor, Angeldust, Husk, Sir Pentious, Vox, Lucifer, Adam, and Cherri Bomb

A/N: Y'all guess who's already ready for summer to start? These are gonna be my first headcanons, I had so much fun creating them, enjoy <3

Charlie 🐐🫶

The optimistic Princess of Hell loooves going to the beach

Growing up in the sweltering armpit of Hell has caused her to love the heat, but also crave the refreshing coolness of the salty ocean

Has so much fun slashing in the waves and dragging a resistant Vaggie into the water with her

“Come on Vaggie, it will be so FUUNNNNN, ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh”

Brings all sorts of fun toys and trinkets to play with at the beach

Volleyball, beachball, speaker, sand castle buckets and shovels, floaties, and a surf board

Is currently struggling to learn how to surf, but is determined to get good at it

Wears the most extravagant, tropical, neon pink swimsuit

Would definitely start an epic game of Marco Polo with the others

Her competitive nature would cause the game to escalate quickly into a war-like battle

Will be in a good mood for the next couple of days because she is so grateful that she can go to the beach with her friends and experience this mini vacation

Vaggie ❌🥀

Vaggie is very much like a cat in water, she is practically hydrophobic

Has a thick layer of sunscreen, the largest sunglasses and sun hat, and will only stay underneath an umbrella

Stands in the sand with her arms cross refusing to get even a drop of water on her

Is wearing one of those scuba gear under suits, all black stretching down her arms and legs so that if water does get on her it doesn’t actually touch her skin

If someone tries to drag her into the ocean, the ex-angel grounds her feet into the sand, taking a battle stance, and threatens to gouge out their eyes

Unlessss it’s Charlie

For Charlie she will do anything

Despite her disdain for the water, watching Charlie have fun splashing in the waves causes a slight smile to form on her face, cracking her previous resting bitch face

Will go as far as to build sand castles and catch tiny crabs for Charlie so that she can please her

Tries helping her learn how to surf but is also is terrible at it

Alastor 🦌📻

Alastor originally said he wasn’t going to go on this beach trip, yet somehow was found already lying on a beach chair by the time everyone arrived at the beach

Is wearing a Hawaiian T-shirt and red trunks

Brought a mini radio to drown out Charlie’s obnoxiously loud speaker, although ends up being isolated since no one else wants to listen to his old-time corny jazz music

Even though it’s lowkey a vibe

Actually prefers to have this new 50 feet radius of isolation, although Vox sometimes will sneak up on him to kick sand at him

Goes full on Radio Demon mode causing Vox to freeze in fear and slowly back up back to the rest of the group

Doesn’t go into the water and instead spends his time sunbathing to brainstorm evil masterplans like taking over Hell and ruining Vox’s life

Will send his shadows to go check up on the others’ beach adventures but will stick to himself

Also uses this time to practice his singing, specifically to the song “We’ll Meet Again”

Angeldust 🕷️❤️‍🔥

Definitely is using his relaxation time to show off his new, sexy, hot pink thong

Is matching with Cherri and they’re serving cunt

Lies down on the towel in promiscuous poses to catch a certain grey cat’s eyes

Dances and makes choreographies with Cherri and Nifty to Charlie’s music

Snuck alcohol and drugs in that Charlie had to take away for the sake of “One normal vacation trip!”

Charlie does not buy this and refuses to let Angel turn this beach trip into something else

Walks along the beach shore to flirt with other beach goers and ends being a cheerleader for some hot hunks playing volleyball

Is dragged back to Charlie and the others by a very annoyed Husk

Husk 🐈‍⬛🍸

Being a cat, obviously is not a huge fan of the water

Really only went for the company of a certain spider

Keeps his eye on him underneath his dark sunglasses, making sure Angeldust doesn’t get into some serious trouble

Was the one who helped Angeldust sneak the alcohol in and argues with Charlie that she can’t take away the alcohol because it’s his

“Charlie I swear to Satan, you better not throw away my supply of alcohol that’s for the hotel” “Then why would you bring it here?” Husk is left dumbfounded and ends up chugging it all down ignoring Charlie’s protests

Drunk Husk tries to play volleyball with the others, ends up stumbling around and falls into the sand after being hit in the face with the ball

Drunk Husk also exposes his jealous nature and after he sees Angel flirting with the hunks he stomps over to drag a whiney Angel back

Sir Pentious 🐍🥚

Treats this trip as if it was a super important team mission, checking up constantly on the others and not resting until everything is perfect

Came to the beach in his blue soldier blazer and refuses to take it off even when swimming in case “a violent battle commences!”

Being a cold-blooded reptile, he ends up sunbathing for hours straight up raw: no sunscreen, no sunglasses, no umbrella or tent, bro is NOT afraid of a little sun

But is very much afraid of his Egg Bois boiling in the sun so as a precaution prior to the trip he engineered a clear cooler to fill with cold water that can drive around the beach kind of like a space rover

“My neeeeww invention called the Ultimate 360 Beach Sssimulator! allowsss for my Egg Boiss to sssee through the plexiglass walls and ssee their ssurroundings while sstimulating the wavessss of the ocean with cold water and hydro jetss! As well, there isss a waterproof joystick inside sso that they may maneuver wherever they pleasse!” “Thanks boss! I feel so relaxed and refreshed!” “Anything for my preciousss babiesss”

Can rest now that his Egg Bois are guaranteed to not cook in the sun

Being a snake he thinks it’s fun to pretend to be an electric eel and play pranks on the others

Specifically on Cherri

Until she decides to absolutely obliterate him and stomped on him slithering through the water

It hurt but he lowkey was into it 😉

Vox ⚡️📺

The beach is not exactly Vox’s thing, and no one understand why he tagged along on this beach trip

Being an actual TV, he begins to overheat and his screen starts glitching and flashing random colors  (uh oh the TV’s buffering!)

He also can’t be in the water… because he is a LITERAL TV

This is the one time he feels insecure about himself because he is unable to do practically anything at the beach

Put on sunscreen? No, that would mess up his hardwire. Build sandcastles? No, the sand would clog up his cracks. Play volleyball? No, the ball might crack his screen.

At least he looked good, he specifically bought holographic trunks, although he only wore them for 20 minutes because had to leave early

Was so glad to be back in air conditioning and far away from any large body of water

Lucifer 🪽🐤

The King of Hell acts like the most stereotypical tourist at this tropical beach, my god

Is of course wearing a bright red and orange Hawaiian t-shirt with a pink lei hanging around his neck, and came with a digital camera to take photos of the whole experience

Brought a bunch of his rubber duckies to float with him in the ocean

This white as hell angel needs a whole three inch layer of sunscreen all over his body, and brought a whole ass tent which he magically set up in a flash with his “pure angelic poweeer”

Was the most excited to go on this trip and is already freaking out over the fact that there’s a snow cone truck by the shore

“I want to get a large one with Tiger’s Blood and watermelon syrup and—oh Charlie, look, they have a piña colada flavor too!”

It’s obvious Charlie gets her optimism from her father

Is running around the beach trying to do everything he could in the time that they had

Brought beer and ends up hanging out with those hunks Angeldust was flirting with earlier

Has a cap on backwards, sunglasses, typical frat guy look, but is honestly looking pretty rad

Has lots of practice back in Australia surfing, so is obviously a boss at this and throws her bombs in the ocean to create the most massive waves to ride on

Literally so cool, although she ends up nearly drowning everyone and it was at this point that Vox decided to leave

Is matching with Angeldust with her hot pink cunty bikini

Helped sneak in Angel’s flasks and stashed some drugs by hiding them inside her swimsuit bra

Is crazy energetic, has so much energy throughout this entire trip, that even afterwards on the car ride home she is belting songs at the top of her lungs

Yet when they arrive back at the hotel she is the first to pass out on the sofa

in the neon-lit streets of Sunset Strip, there existed an unlikely pair: Tommy Lee, the wild drummer of Mötley Crüe, and you, a refined lady with a penchant for classy fashion. Their paths collided one smoky night at the legendary Whisky a Go Go.

Tommy, with his tousled hair and his carefree attitude, was the embodiment of rock ‘n’ roll excess. He’d just finished a raucous gig, sweat-soaked and adrenaline-fueled. His leather jacket clung to him like a second skin, and his eyes sparkled with mischief.

And then there you were —graceful, with a hint of rebellion. you wore lace gloves and a pastel wrap dress that went down to your knees, your eyes framed by kohl-lined perfection. you had wandered into the Whisky, seeking solace from the chaos of life.

But it wasn’t all glitz and glam. Tommy had demons—the kind that haunted hotel rooms and echoed in empty bottles. And you had secrets—the kind that whispered of a past you left behind.

One moonlit night, both sat on the rooftop of the Roxy, overlooking the city. Tommy traced circles on your lace-covered hand. “you know,” he said, “I’ve never met anyone like you.. well, been with anyone like you.”

The Network Deck

A second deck! While your main deck is the same as in FL and represents things you're physically interacting with/present for, in FB you would be able to draw cards from a secondary deck that represents things happening on the Network. You would still have one hand, just two ways of drawing cards (and also the added option to draw one at a time, if you want). Instead of getting one opportunity card every ten minutes, you get one of each every twenty (or maybe fifteen?)

Your Network deck (or netdeck for short) is the same in all areas, compared to the changing nature of the main deck (which would be emphasized more to draw a comparison). It's also significantly more customisable/optimisable: you can control what apps you have, which is responsible for almost all of the cards in your netdeck. Similar to lab workers, your deck will start getting clogged up with bad cards if you don't have enough apps: things like lack of stuff do do with your phone:

You find yourself on autopilot, stuck in a loop of closing an app and then immediately reopening it. Nightmares is increasing...

Imagine apps like Squeaker (spices' personal twitter clone, arguments and drama galore), the Library (pages' wikipedia-alike, where a war for the city's knowledge is waged), smaller message boards (sold by mr bricks), geocache-esque stuff in a maps app, experimental apps which interact with parabola, unofficial "dark web" crime-related app, the like. (maybe even phone games lol)

Restricted card areas, like how pickpocketing and parties are now, would probably have to limit your phone use for practicality reasons – though maybe they could build what apps you have into some cards too.

Thoughts on the idea of eggman doing horribly vile shit but still wanting to be seen as in the right for it, like “oh I’m not making them slaves it’s protective robot skin haha”

Feel like it could be an interesting twist on his char, kinda got some of those vibes from the park in colors, the full corporate speak and like, trying to make this obviously evil plan look not evil, feel like there’s a lot to be done there

I love love looove it, that's what I was expressing a desire to share more concepts of just the other day. I have some I've been meaning to share but my favorite part is when he finally drops the act and shows his true colors and mocks them for it like a cold hearted bastard so I focus on that most lol. I do wanna delve into the build up more though.

He has indeed done it in various official media already like X, Archie, games, and promo material and I absolutely loved every instance of it. But since I'm a game canon guy primarily I'm just gonna focus on that for this reply, though in the future I'm probably going to share what I liked about the cases even outside them because I appreciate it in many places.

I love how one of the things about how he likes to take things that are generally considered childish like toys, theme parks, carnivals, circuses, etc and has his own twisted fucked up spin on it is how it can also be used to lure people in with the bright colors and usually perceived innocence of it. The times Eggman has played into it is interesting.

With Eggmanland in Unleashed, he was upfront about the hell on earth that it was to Sonic because he knew he wouldn't have believed his trickery, plus he takes pride in the fact. He enjoyed teasing him with the "If you have any complaints, come deliver them to me in person. If you can, that is!" to emphasize that it was the theme park of horror >:)

Plus the atmosphere was a lot darker so despite the neon colors, it probably wouldn't have fooled anyone Sonic or not. But he still had the Eggshop be a thing where horrible sawdust and motor oil tasting food was sold to make it horrible and unpleasant for his sadistic amusement, so maybe he would've hoped to trick people regardless?

We don't get to know for sure there but in Colors he wants lots of visitors and he really had to do some immense trickery make sure it seemed innocent and appealing enough to get them to use a space elevator to travel all the way up there lol. It's a lot more colorful and fun looking than the more dark and polluted looking Eggmanland from afar.

So for the Interstellar Park, the trickery is both in its design and his words with how he pretended it was a happy wonderland of fun with nothing to do with any evil plot or premeditated misdeeds. What I love is how once you've gotten all the way up there in space, you're fucked. You'll get messed up and killed one way or another.

In his PAs when you're actually inside, the act is dropped quick. He lies about some of it being safer than it looks but for the most part? All his lines are brutally honest about how messed up it really is, with the Wisps he harmed, blatantly acknowledges the dangers of the rides and planets, and how they can cause death, horror, and fear.

I love how sadistic he is in the PAs and his morbid humor that reveals how truly sick he is and that this park was created for anything but pure innocent reasons. He intended for the rides to be deadly and food to be bad and finds it very amusing. He probably loves the idea of these tricked people coming in and quickly becoming horrified and afraid.

But it still looks so colorful and fun from afar! It's so beautiful and with the joys he promises, how could you not want to go? So while it works to lure people in, it can also give its true horrors even more impact when visitors expect something nice but the dangerous disturbing and terrifying reality is revealed and I'm sure that's very appealing to him too.

So you get this funny combination of him both trying to deceive you but then quickly becoming brutally honest as soon as you're successfully trapped in it. This is exactly what happened in the SPINGEAR ride too, where he was immediately like "haha sike you're actually in for a terrible time!" as soon as the ride began and was loving it.

But I think the idea of him playing the long game with his trickery and deceit is interesting too. We've mostly only seen cases where it's a lot quicker like that but he's set up well for him to do an elaborate scheme of dragging it out for longer and the impact would hit extra hard after all that time too, which he'd definitely enjoy and mock after.

The Eggman Empire propaganda Sonic Forces promo video was cool because Eggman was trying to convince people the world being a dark polluted hellscape is actually a good thing, which reflects his twisted idea of a "perfect" world shaped his image, where he has the power of the control and the sadistic enjoyment of the harsh conditions.

Then because people obviously need the clean air to live, he tries to trick them into thinking robotomy is a wonderful helpful treatment for it. That never needing to eat, sleep, or think again is a good thing and that they'll love it. When really it's a trick to get them to submit to him, have control over them and strip them of their freedom and free will.

But there's an eerie glimpse at how he really knows none of this right with how he says love is mandatory. Once he's tricked them and they've submitted and given up their freedom and will, he can use them as he pleases and keep them controlled and brainwashed but if they do realize how fucked up it is there's no going back, they're trapped in it now.

I'd really like to see more of that, where he tries to tell people the vile things he does are genuinely great, for their own good, are nice and selfless of him and genuinely beneficial for them. Where he manages to manipulate so well to the point of mass delusion and brainwashing with people that follow him believing he's doing something the right thing.

It's good to be a mindless slave under his control, never having to think for yourself again! Trapping living beings in robots improves upon nature and is better and more beneficial than natural! The deadly attractions are what real fun and excitement really is! The brutal sadistic punishments if they fall out of line is for their own good! There's no meaning to life if it isn't to serve him and the world is better under his control!

And the idea of people actually believing that in the Sonic universe and following him is interesting to think about. Even though it bothers me when people do it in real life and believe his lies and think he actually has good intentions but I mean hey, they give me an example of what it'd be like at least. Eggman really is a good actor, props to him! XD

I have a few ideas I'd like to share in the future. Showing love, care, and false acts of kindness to trick and manipulate, or not even hiding his vile actions but managing to convince people it's good or that the end justifies the means, and have them falling for it and he sees how far he can take it makes it especially impactful and devastating.

Delusion, deceit, manipulation, and gaslighting in general is very fascinating to me after years of experiencing it and I've always wanted to understand it from the perpetrator's perspective and portray it as dark and disturbing as it really is. It's always been interesting for me to explore in Eggman too, from when he's manipulating specific characters to the masses. I've actually been researching big cases of mass delusion in history again lately so this is timely.

Pulling people into the empire with the lie that it's something great that will benefit everyone but their leader has much darker intentions and the true final outcome will benefit only himself, but he strings them along on a lie, brainwashes them, and has control though mind games and trickery is fascinating and thrillingly devious.

Then slowly or abruptly realizing it's a lie and the impact when it all comes crashing down and Eggman spits and laughs in their face and mocks them for having a heart and wanting to see good in him/believing and having hope in good coming from it. It emphasizes his coldness and cruelty and how much of a threat he is even to the mind.

And if that happens he'll try to shut down their doubts and lie more to keep them deluded because he knows just what they want to hear and promises them they'll get it. So if they don't believe it's right, the ends justify the means. And if that doesn't work, he'll threaten them to keep them in so they can't leave, or have them dealt with.

But he's so good at taking advantage of people's vulnerabilities, saying what they want to hear, and embedding lies so deeply into their minds to warp reality into what he wants them to believe that sometimes they may be too far gone and never see the truth. And he takes it to the darkest places, using them all up and harming them and they die in vain.

Every outcome has the potential to be very fascinating, entertaining, and impactful!

Shortness: not taking the fucking high ass heels into account I'd say 7.5/10? Maybe? He feels a bit tallish even without heels and with flattened hair, but still, nice

Big Ass Eyes: 5.5/10 probably also due to the style of eyes used that makes them look smaller half lidded like that, but they seem to take up quite some space in the face so that slightly balances things out!

Overall Design: White One 7.5/10 very cute very nice, love the white and neons. Black One 8.5/10 I usually prefer white to black but this one got so many more detaiiiils the holographic collar and thigh belt???? AUGH Those things around his hips? MAKES THEM LOOK BIGGER AND MORE BREEDABLE! And in general I think his face is super cute and well, I'm a sucker for neons and masks! ALSO I SAW HIS FAIRY DESIGN AND IT MADE ME SCREAM THAT IS A 100/10 DESIGN RIGHT THERE AAAAAAAA

Shortness: 6.5/10 he seems a bit on the taller side? But not toooo much....

Big Ass Eyes: ok this one I'll have to go with what the eyeshadow is leading me to believe aka that he has some really huge fucking eyes 9/10 and I also love this type of droopy eyes!

Overall Design: 7/10 looove the mismatched fabrics and details! The big ass boooots are soooo cute on him and well CATBOY CATBOY CATBOY

And lastly the Seven Swords and I hope you meant these because it was kinda difficult to understand what you meant since the school is also called that?

Shortness: 11/10 considering they're dwarves and super duper tiny. They understood the assignment!

Big Ass Eyes: 1/10 those are some Small Ass Eyes LMAO

Overall Design: ok going from top to bottom, left to right we have N.1 4/10 kinda plain but love the round glasses; N.2 2/10 cool eyebrows but no; N.3 1/10 boring + I don't like that kind of droopy eyes; N.4 6.5/10 the round eyebrows, the music themed hair clips, what a cutie; N.5 7.5/10 what can I say I am biased towards covered faces and blue hair, sue me; N.6 6/10 A GINGER! CURLY GINGER!! LOVELY!!! Also a better type of droopy eyes + big ass scarf love that and lastly N.7 5/10 kinda cute with that little :3 mouth but overall meh design.

I really like the idea/aesthetics of neon bar signs, so early in 2020 when I was doing a lot more writing (because Pandemic) I thought it would be a nice visual reference for my followers that I was accepting prompts. I've done a variety of versions in Canva. The first one here is probably the oldest and I don't think ever got used.

I switched to the Chez Gray when I realized I was getting a little less able to actually accept prompts on Thursdays.

I still don't know if I like the green or the purple better on the Chez Gray one, actually.
