How did Aran and your OC (didn’t catch their name sorry) meet? What were their first impressions of one another?

HIHIHIIHIH IM SORRY I HAVENT CHECKED MY INBOX IN A LONG TIME 🙏🙏 also tried to make a comic of this but spectacularly failed! anyways:

not very surprising, but they used to HATEEE each other... kaleidoscope (his name btw! also dw if you forgot!!) thought aran was childish and immature, and aran thought that kal was just really weak lmao :/

it stayed like this, even from the time they first met in the locker room until one of kals matches, where he was doing pretty spectacular for a season! he even beat the major circuit champion, something he never thought was possible (based on his skill though- he's usually 3rd contender in the major circuit)

now he was up against aran...in an attempt to even try winning, bro decided to bring A FULL ON BLASTER. yeah. aran saw it and was actually impressed at the fact that kal was...oh my gosh! cheating?1??1?1?1 (he didn't know that it was illegal but whatever) so then kal beast aran, they meet up after the match, and start to converse. PLOT TWIST THEY'RE ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD TOGETHER. their friendship has nice flow, good qualities, and they were always there for each other! (aww!) aran offered him a free pass to his private gym to train whenever, even let kal stay in his apartment when he got kicked out! also they liked to wrestle with each other and headlocks, mostly touchy stuff. aran started it.

The birds in my lil tf2 oc world are sentient but humans don't know it. Domesticated birds usually do understand human language.

the first one is the plus || arc (kirby’s introduction and integration with the tmnt) and the second is the poster for the double mutated arc (the tmnt get transported to a different planet via portal)

rambling about the symbolism and my design choices and connections to lore under cut😋

for the first:

everything behind him represents all the things that torment him.

The purpley pink vines is the kraang because of his long kraangification, he gets dreams about kraang, entire the color pink triggers ptsd (which is sad since HIS COLOR used to be pink), his marks his marks are now forever pink after the krangification permanently stained pink from the kraang.

The yellow and the eye represents Venus. Venus is the missing sister that has been trying to reach out to Kirby telepathically through his dreams. Since Venus is not extremely skilled with her mystic powers, her message does not translate well to kirby. His venus dreams end up scaring him and further developing his somniphobia.

The alligator is his father leatherhead, whom he has not seen since before the invasion. Leatherhead is dead but Kirby doesnt know that yet!!! because leatherhead died while kirby was still kraangified!! he does however ignore that possibility and lets his delusions run wild. saying stuff like “oh boy dad’ll looove to hear about this” (he hasnt seen his dad in months and his house is vacant and hes nowhere to be found). While he thinks these things on the surface, part of him misses his father and feels deep guilt and sadness that cant be treated with self gaslighting.

and obviously on the right is the hamato crest respresenting how he has a whole new and loving family that can help him put that stuff behind him. though hes weary

some other little details

kirby’s shell and leatherheads teeth dig into eachothers skin showing how they both are so attached to eachother and they hurt in their absence

the glint of teal in venus’s eye because thats her color

the tear in leatherheads eye representing the depressed spiral he went down after the invasion and kirby was missing

some of venus’s fire is burning kraang bits

for the second:

The purple side represents the planet Axolia and the blue side represents earth. Kirby is on earth because he didnt fall through the portal, but with the help of april and casey jr, hes trying to tap into his ninpo to get them back. Mikey is on the Axolian side because hes is the one of the brothers who didnt get double mutated and turned feral.

The thing that mikey is breaking is a flask of the Axolian mutagen. The bugs that took over axolia produce them and the native axolians (axolotl yokai, much like salamandrians) drink them much like they would water. But its toxic to foreign entities and materials. Mikey is breaking it because though he was not mutated by accident like his brothers, he has to take the mutagen in small quantities to gain enough power to learn the immunification and purification spells from the Axolians. this mutates him in the process but he doesnt lose his mind, but his body progressively changes (ex: the yellow spots forming on his hand in the art where he breaks the flask)

The white shape going through the middle represents the mystic powers at play. which is why its connected to kirby and mikey, who are both tapping into new mystic powers in order to help save their brothers

Leo donnie and raph are all on the cusp of this mystic barrier. on the earth side it shows their normal form, and on the axolian side it shows the new form they take after the mutation.

If donnies design looks a little different than raph and leos you would be right. for donnie, the mutagen didnt hit his skin or shell like raph and leos, the mutagen hit his battle shell, which ended up covering most of his body in mutated metal, making him look like a robot of some sort.

Headcanons I have are under the cut, if you'd like to read (:<

Okay, so, these are divided between the "yippee most toys survive and make a community outside in the wilderness or something!" au, and canon

AU:

No one at the community is struggling in any massive way, nor is there any threat of danger or starvation, so Doey feels like a tool that is going unused

Matthew is struggling with this the most because he's so used to helping everyone all the time and feeling useful through service to others (picture Steven Universe Future) so when people DON'T need him to fix something, he feels terribly useless and insignificant

Kevin had to shove both Matt and Jack down just to survive a Prototype encounter, which made them both feel like they were just in the way

Jack and Kevin also feel the emptiness of peacefulness, but to a slightly lesser extent than Matt

Doey compensates for the lack of his usual roles (hunter and gatherer, leader, protector) by doing a LOT of chores. This is fine given that he was made for fulfilling multiple tasks at once, but Doey pushes himself way too far

He doesn't eat unless he has to (physical limitations or peer pressure) because he struggles a bit with trusting food since he didn't need to kill or risk his life for it (sus) and a part of him feels like he doesn't deserve it

Very stressed in general

Loves hanging out with Kissy! She is an awesome listener and lets Doey rant about silly stuff, all the while nodding attentively. It makes him feel valued, even if he isn't saying anything important

Got dangerously close to getting Poppy's ass and beating her to death after the Safe Haven got destroyed (luckily there were survivors and other non-feral toys around the factory, no all hope was not lost). It took the combined efforts of Kissy, Poppy, the player, and a few survivors to convince Doey that he shouldn't shatter her yet

Fully believes he doesn't need Poppy anymore as he ran Safe Haven successfully be himself, and still holds resentment for her to this day

Canon:

While one dough boy is operating Doey, the other two can still say their piece in Doey's head, just not out loud. This leads to Doey all of a sudden breaking out into fits of laughter at a joke one of them made in his head, much to others' confusion

Jack is not afraid to be himself. He'll giggle at nothing in particular, just because he feels like it. He'll cry in front of everyone, because he was simply sad. He'll do whatever. He accepts he is and will always be a doughman, and while he would give nearly everything to go home (he still sobs about it sometimes), he might as well make the time he's spending in the Safe Haven a happy and honest time

Kevin and Matthew are having a harder time accepting their fates, even after years. They very clearly remember the sun, their friends, their lives, growing up, getting their first pimple, getting nervous around girls, chewing gum, playing sports, getting sweaty, all of the normal teenager stuff. There are little bits of them that still believe that once they leave the factory, they can go back to being teens in a normal world. It's a terrible tugging feeling in their chests whenever they think about how impossible it is now. Matt used to have dreams of going to college. He wanted to be a teacher.

Doey stims a lot. (I personally like the headcanon that Kevin and Matt have autism, but shhhh, you didn't hear that....) His body makes it especially fun to stretch and stick and mess around whenever he's excited or bored, though Jack and Kevin often forget they're NINE HUNDRED POUNDS and CAN DEFINITELY KILL SOMEONE IF THEY GET TOO HAPPY

Side note: I LOVE how the guy in the Kevin tape says "nine...HUNDRED. POUNDS OF DOUGH." it's so funny, like yeah, Doey could accidentally thwack a critter if he flaps his hands too close to the poor thing

He can eat just about anything, but usually only eats toys that he knows are beyond reasoning with. Pianosaurus? Feral. He knows when to cut some of his losses

He was kinda self-conscious about his appearance (who wouldn't? You're made of dough) especially because Jack, Matt, and Kevin were never as tall nor weighed more than like, 150 pounds. Doey got over it pretty fast once Safe Haven got running and it's members said they thought he looked really cute (he is (: )

SCREAMINGGG fineee! so basically this was in my first year (about two years ago) in january and i randomly got a facetime call from my ex at 3am (mind you it was his birthday). him and i’s relationship is pretty complicated since we’re childhood family friends and even with our dating history we remained pretty solid friends afterwards.

so i’m seeing the call and i’m debating whether i should pick up or not because we hadn’t been talking around that time but solely bc of our different schedules, nothing bad at that point in time. i decide to answer because why else would he call me on his birthday this late at night? i’m ngl i was expecting the worse of news like he got caught up in shady business or got somebody pregnant IDK

anyway i answer and he’s acting nervous which is extremely out of character for him. he’s making small talk and whatever and i’m like bro why’d you call me?? like stop beating around the bush. so he literally straight up tells me that back in the summer (my high school graduation party) when i had been suspecting my cousin and him had smth going on and he fully told me i was being crazy, that they in fact had something going on. and that they CRACKED at MY party (where our families were????)

i was literally so appalled. i had NO words for a solid five minutes. he kept explaining that during her stay (she’s american and came to canada for the sole purpose of my graduation, mind you) they would meet up and go on dates and stuff and they’ve fucked multiple times. i paged him for about an hour i think?? idk i was crashing the fuck out over the phone and he stfu and listened as he should— but at some point i realized those two honestly never gave a fuck how i felt despite me having told them multiple times i found their relationship weird because he was a serious boyfriend to me and she was my blood cousin. they had me thinking i was insaneeee. top tier gaslighting istg.

anywho. i told him to go fuck himself and literally never hmu ever again, and he apologized for doing me wrong. i did ask him why did he wait until his birthday to tell me this and he said he felt really guilty. fucking meatball LMAOOO

so yeah. later on i find out they’re dating and i damn near crashed out AGAIN. anyway i blocked him except i saw him in june of the following year because like i said, we’re family friends so i can literally not NOT see him if that makes sense. we had a conversation then, and at that point i’d gone through experiences and pretty sure i matured a lot bc i handled that much differently than i would’ve at 18.

as for my cousin??? i sent her a paragraph and blocked her as soon as i seen she saw it. she found my number somehow and called me a few weeks after, so i told her to add him to the phone call, and lets just say that call did NOT go well. the gist of it is that she essentially believed they were adults in love (she’s a year younger than me and him) and that it’s not up to me to decide whether they can be together or not. i honestly did not give a fuck at that point, i told them both i hope it was worth ruining my relationship i’ve built with them both separately over the years over this taboo ass shit.

spoiler: it wasn’t worth it. they were on and off for months at a time, she’s cheated on him, he’s cheated on her and he made her realize she was gay or something. WELPPPP
