If I didn't have the fanbase that I did, I wouldn't be on stage it's as simple as that. They really give me the fire in the belly, confidence to do that.
And I hope that because of that mutual benefit, they take a lot in that, they take a lot of pride in that. They see me feeling good on stage, and enjoying the show like I will tonight, that's literally all thanks to them.
I finished my FMAB sleeve yesterday. I started this sleeve as a 30th birthday present to myself a couple of months ago. I could not be happier with the way it turned out & I appreciate my artist so much. I’m so happy I have an anime that means so much to me tattooed on me forever🦾☺️
G, I don't know how long you've been around but i know the leading "theory" (well, it's confirmed by the tattoo artist so not an actual theory) was that the butterfly and skull/playing cards was based on the papillon movie, but how did larries figure that out? like how did larries know before the confirmation? can you shed any light on that? because if larries stumbled across it, knew, watched the movie, figured it out, had theories etc before confirmation that's actually incredible? how/why did larries know that?
When Harry did his spread in Another Man in 2017, the tattoo artist who did a lot of his tattoos, including the butterfly, was interviewed and he said the butterfly was based on Steve McQueen’s tattoo from Papillon. Papillon is a book (then a movie) about two men (Henri and Louis) who were in prison together. Henry was wrongfully accused, and ultimately escapes (and went on to tell his story in this book).
A bunch of other tattoos of Harry’s are versions of prison tattoos (which is equally painful when you think about their closet as a prison)
Anyway, look through my PAPILLON tag (I linked it chronologically) so you can see everything. It’s pretty insane that Louis and Harry share the tattoos from this character. I particularly like that because it’s Steve McQueen’s character who escapes in the end and wins his freedom.
