#10. What's an au you have for them?

Since them meeting at all is technically an AU i have 3 different ways that they do meet up. There's the one where Juniper ends up with the agency/adjacent to and ends up working with Reggie (have written a fic with this). The next one is Juniper surviving but basically going stealth and living as normal of a life as he can and ending up meeting Reggie through chance (most recent fic I've written). And then there's my personal favourite where Reginald "You're lucky my tracking skills are still up to snuff" Crane keeping himself busy after Phoenix was MIA and finding Juniper still alive (fic I want to write but haven't started mainly because it may end up multi chapter).

In terms of more AU canon bending taking them and putting them in a completely unrelated situation...I have a guilty pleasure Warrior Cats AU for IEYTD in general. Both JJ and Reggie have perfect warrior cats suffixes in their names already (Juniper and Crane) so they're called Junipersong (charcoal bengal) and Craneflight (tabby Norwegian forest cat). It's very silly but the amount of scenes I have in my mind for it...good lord...

#11. How was their first kiss like?

Augh my friend Imp wrote an absolutely excellent fic about it (tragically in the realm of unfinished Google docs) and I'm shaking their hand about it so hard. Basically Juniper kissing Reggie but he like wasn't ready/fully expecting it and Juniper absolutely panicking because he thinks he's misread every interaction between them both since they got closer. The second one is much sweeter though,,

He tries to rise, trembling, weak. He wants to be on his feet when it happens. He wants to be standing when–

Worldbreaker catches him before he is even back on his knees. The clubbing blow breaks his left shoulder, ribs and left femur. He collapses, trying not to scream from the pain, and failing. Horus starts to bludgeon him, beating him repeatedly like a disobedient dog. There is no art in this any more. No martial skill. No patience. Worldbreaker shreds armour and flesh. It pulverises both collarbones. It ruptures a lung. A fine drizzle of blood fumes the air around the two figures, the brutal, beating giant and his prey. The sixth hammering impact twists Sanguinius’ head around, shattering his jaw, and transmitting such force that the skin on the left half of his face, from brow to chin, is flayed loose. It flutters, then drapes back like a slack mask.

As he falls forward, the Talon vices him again. It lifts the ruined, tattered Angel into the air, until he is face to face with the first-found instrument of Chaos.

Horus squeezes slowly. He is expecting some last word, some immortal and heroic declaration to mark the end of a majestic, noble life. It ought to be something good, something appropriate.

But Sanguinius is no longer capable of speech. He is drowning in his own blood.

The claws close. There is a double crack of spine and neck.

Horus waits. Blood drips. It’s done.

The Talon opens with a mechanical clack. His brother’s corpse, so loose and mangled it seems almost boneless, drops to the deck. An ugly sound of impact to mark an ugly ending.

And sometimes art has a certain taste or feel to it? Like that "this is all so gratifying" art has an inexplicable coldness on the tip of my tongue? But it's subtle, like breathing in cool evening air mixed with the sting of smoke.

Something about the cool colors and the machinery and knowing this is the moment before everything goes wrong for him lol. I just adore how art can really get you immersed in the environment, especially with how you do backgrounds!!

i was watching doctor mike's videos on sports injuries and it just makes me more angrier at hockey fans who brag about hockey players playing through especially serious injuries while mocking other athletes for sitting out.

You know what? Werewolf au Karlnapity where karlnap and Quackity broke up and Karl and Sapnap are werewolfs

Karl has cannon level memory problems and it really REALLY fucks him over because he cant really remember dating or loving Quackity and he hates him but as a wolf he can't remember that Quackity is not his mate anymore

So they accidentally cross paths and Karl's instincts get so fucking upset that Quackity no longer has any mark of them, he has no hickeys and no bites, he's not wearing their clothes, FUCK he doesn't even smell like them anymore, and it makes Karl actively seek him out even when in human form (even if he doesn't notice it)

In wolf form he's terrible, he circles around Quackity's house, barks at his windows, claws at his door, anything to get his attention

(It does not help that Quackity does come out when he's like this. He comes out with a smile and some scraps of meat for him, he plays for hours with what he thinks is a stray dog)

Sapnap notices that Karl is acting like this and he tries to steer him away from Quackity (as much as he hates it) both in human and wolf forms but Karl is not having it

haha well guess who caught up with and finished season 5 of [inso’s law] and now has to wait until summer for season 6 and is super totally incredibly fine and ready for it and definitely didnt nearly throw up from crying so much from the last couple of chapters :D
