I want to fall in love with an unconventional person. A person carved by uniqueness, touched by the strange magic of authenticity. Someone who makes me feel as though I was born the moment they stepped into my world.
Their arrival is a reawakening of one’s self, a resurrection perhaps. Their presence soothes my soul like a calm breeze after a storm. Oh I find the serenity just by them being close. A sanctuary in human form.
And their voice, it would make my sleeplessness fade, letting it dissolve into dreams. like a child lulled by the rhythm of their mother’s heartbeat. Nothing else but the melody of someone who makes the world safe again.
They wouldn’t be intimidated by my strength or my success, A partner who doesn’t compete but celebrates, who finds pride not in oneself alone, but in the triumphs of the one they love.
This is love without ego. A love that doesn’t shrink in another’s light but shines with it. Unconfined by convention, Is kind and humble enough to apologize when they’re wrong.
A person who falls so deeply for the details of my life. That they couldn’t imagine changing a single thread. I want to grow old with someone like that, whose smile makes me fall in love again and again.
I don’t crave fleeting flings. Nor even picture-perfect romances with a polished name.
But comfort, even in cracked embrace. A sacred, quiet, tender place
I’m not searching for flawless delight
Only for peace that seeps through the night
If such love truly exists, may it find me not when I’m ready, but when I’m real.

The King in Yellow. shown by both times each has found themselves in human form do not just crave power and influence!!!#THEY CRAVE COMMUNITY!!! an endrich being not born or raised with nothing but power and ego#CRAVES COMMUNITY.#His goal of “humanity” is not a selfless goal like John projects - it is ultimately somewhat selfish as he does not want to be alone!!#which makes this desire so much more human#i don't know maybe this is just me spelling out whats already there but the way john and the witch argued about humanity frustrated me#it felt like they were missing the point or that perhaps the “good/evil” “black/white” retoric was already realised by me and john needed#realise it himself . which is fair !!!#i dont know!!!!#the witch was talking about how bad everyone was and how humanity is cruel and john was talking about Lily (#who also frustrates me how shes used in the plot somewhat she was literally just a nurse doing her job bro#) but to John - yes internally he is struggling with his moral greyness and im so proud of him for growing being himself SO PROUD#JUST.!!! he wants community. he needs community. he loves his friend. Do think it's very crunchy that WWX only defends his new flavor of the month in the ancestral hall. Not himself. Not WN, to whom JC did arguably have a life debt and for whom WWX did dump JC. Not any of these old things; just the shiny new hot powerful protective dude that he doesn't have any meaningful preexisting bond with and that he's been falling for since returning and running away from his previous life.
Just the perfect, serene blank slate of novelty (and the guilty undercurrent of once again feeling something that isn't socially acceptable and won't be welcome).

seeing discussions on whether bill could trick stan and yeah it is pretty akldhkasjdha to think stan is untrickable when the last regular ep is him getting tricked by darlene (and we know that eda/"marilyn" stole his stuff/almost got his car by tricking him with a vegas marriage)
#like his direct weakness is affection or at least making him believe he's a good pickup artist i feel#pandering to his ego and letting him think he's in control i guess? not necessarily love in general cos i still dont think that#he believes in unconditional love#in the non canon dream i think that was mostly bill misreading stan and being too pushy about it#we know that bill was extremely manipulative with dipper's case in particular#preying on him when the kid was hitting peak frustration and sleep depriviation#and then using that microsleep to make him believe that there's a sudden chance at losing all his progress immediately#giving him time pressure and lying about his demands#with mabel he knows that she has no idea about the rift or that she even had it in the first place#and waited until she's at her emotional limit with the face of a sorta friend#and with ford he was playing the long game#giving him the company he missed for so long but on bill's terms to make ford crave his appearances#and worry more about suddenly losing it if he does something bill disapproves of#the hypothetical 'bill attempting to trick stan' speaks more of bill's refusal to respect stan and his urge to underestimate him#because 'why would he require any effort if he's just a worse version of sixer?'#i feel like stan catching on fast is because he has been tricked by others before plenty of times#so the method bill tried using won't work#also the guy instinctively hates stan and was probably relieved that he actually managed to fix the portal without any help#actually lmao at thinking stan would trust an authority figure like a teacher that have failed him his entire childhood

my opinion on arcane season 2 is that viktor could have and should have been worse

one of the most confusing yet funniest thing that happened in in medalist is actually hikaru's very one-sided beef with tsukasa lol
like damn she really just... hates him huh
but i can understand though, the thing about being kids is that, it takes time for them to understand that everyone have nuance and just because other people have different opinions and ways of doing things from you, doesn't mean they're terrible people...
it's just like rioh and yodaka's whole... thing.
that man literally sees rioh as his own nephew, yet this is the guy who got some of The Most terrible communication skill in the story, and every time he talk to rioh, he just end up hurting that kid... like the beef is so one-sided, i'm glad rioh is able to meet tsukasa and gradually get over his insecurities when it comes to comparing his own success to hikaru herself and yodaka jun lol
also, inori's got her own beef with yodaka too lmao i hope tsurumaikada will let these two confront each other again, maybe without tsukasa to protect her... maybe then we'll see a new side of them 🤔🤔🤔
#idk man but i love how tsurumaikada wrote the relationship between the adults and the kids in this manga#something about how the kids have such... heightened emotions about them because when you're kids... adult's words Really Matters at times#especially when it comes to developing a sense of identity and security in knowing that it's okay to be your true self#that even if you're pursuing change there'll be people who will support you no matter what happens#it's very interesting how all of the adults have their own answers to that question when it comes to handling those expectations as teacher#and guides to these children to such... harsh world#and also why i think tsukasa is such a good teacher for inori (which... yodaka jun himself admit to be true lol)#he gives inori the options and the knowledge he accumulates from his experience yet he never succumb to his ego as an adult#and make decisions for her (which... can't be said about her own mother in the early chapters)#he gives her agency and in return despite all of the failings she experienced... she's able to get up and fight again and again#because of the knowledge that people close to her will always support her#and i'm glad that now she's also a source of inspiration for hikaru now#she doesn't have to emulate yodaka jun and hide behind his shadow for security... she can now skate in her own ways#without being chained by her own assumptions of what yodaka jun would do as a skater#omg this is getting too long but i don't really talk about medalist here because i usually just tweet about it#but yeah.... medalist... so fucking good#i read it because i do find figure skating interesting and ofc... for the yuri#didn't expect to be fascinated by tsurumaikada's ability to write human drama#and the complexities of communication between different generations#tmi tag#medalist spoilers

I feel like my death note and crime and punishment obsession have finally intertwined with each other in a very satisfying way. Light Yagami is so Raskolnikov coded, they would def smirk the same way. Manga Raskolnikov is a murderous pretty boy like Light.
