When I read about this kinda stuff I always just think about 'Louis who hugs his fans like his children', 'Louis who defends his fans everywhere, all the time, in front of anyone', 'Louis who protects his fans first and gives a shit about things second'. - but more specific to me... constantly badmouthing other people

What you should know about me:

- I am a witch. In a serious way. But I am also a sceptic and on the whole 'critical thinking' jam, so science comes first. I am very and absolutely open to any other religions or belief systems. I don't only believe that interfaith relationships are possible but that they can bring something so amazingly powerful to a relationship. Also I don't see my witchcraft as a religion but as a craft, but again just ask about it if you are interested. Also this is probably the most I ever said about my beliefs. I usually just do it for myself and don't carry it to the outside world much. But this might be smth someone would like to know first.

Wahahahah oh my... there is really a drama discussion pandemic atm. In every corner of the fandom there is a different fire burning. I hope you feel the love from those who matter and enjoy whatever brings you joy atm. I myself am a bit pissed with H. The way he sells overpriced low quality merch to young fans when he is in a position of power just goes against everything I believe in. I still adore him, went to two of his shows, and even own merch myself. But I am still not happy with what he does in that regard. And I am happy I keep my critical thinking intact even though I am waaaay too obsessed with him and absorb everything he does. I believe we can be stronger as a fandom if we educate each other and not let ourselves being taken as fools by those who we choose to support. I understand everyone is really upset atm but why don't we go and check in with each other instead of coming into someones dms/asks and project our frustration with our fave and the situation on them. In the end we all just want good music, cuddles, cake, and a good fic to read (or not, also fine). Just the situation is fucked up enough no reason to add to it. Sending hugs and a cup of your fave hot beverage!

I agree about the merch I wish harry would take matter into his own hands when it comes to merch and ticket pricing because it's not a good look right now and it hasn't been in years. I wish his fans weren't sheeps and would start to call them out for it.

Sometimes you just have one of those moments where the progress we've made as a culture get thrown into stark relief. You look at something and go "Holy shit, that would never have happened when I was a kid."

Today, I had one of those moments when I realized that the teenage boys I'm working with are just. genuinely, openly enthusiastic about going to Build-a-Bear for their outing.

These are sixteen and seventeen year old boys! They just had a whole conversation about what to name their "cute", mostly new squishmallows! They're genuinely excited that they're going to Build-a-Bear this weekend and asking other kids to pick up specific accessories for them!!

Holy shit, that never would've happened when I was 16. None of the boys would have dared to be visibly interested - and neither would most of the girls! There would have been a million gay jokes and "Haha, you're a girl" jokes and "What are you, a baby?" jokes. Teenagers weren't even supposed to care about anything back then!

Less than 15 years later, and I'm watching three 17 year old boys treat all that as not even worthy of comment.

So let's call that a reason for hope. Even when the kids aren't alright, in some ways apparently they are alright. Go Gen Z, honestly. It's so lovely to watch you guys just openly doing and saying stuff that, when I was a teen, would've been a social death sentence.

listen there really was just something about how in the book, snow’s 3-page descent from hesitant lover boy to deluded psychopath happens entirely in his mind. lucy gray gives him no indication whatsoever that she suspects him, that she’s going to leave or betray him. he’s just sitting quietly in the cabin waiting for her to return when that seed of calculated suspicion, which he has needed to survive the capitol, takes a hold of him and chokes the life out of any goodness left inside him. it really drives home your terror as a reader that “oh my god did he kill her? did she escape? what happened to her? why would he even think that?” in a way that when the movie had to adjust for visualization it lost some of that holy shit this guy has lost it emphasis.
