One of the most helpful tips when approaching your training is to ALIGN and then ADD. Align then Add, Align then Add! 🧘🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️ . Align yourself, make sure you are always using a tall, lifted spine. Figure out where your body should be during the entire exercise. Imagine what it will feel like, what the weight will feel like, what muscles you need to recruit to make the exercise successful. Stop 🛑 think 🤔 practice the movement. 🤸🏻‍♂️ . THEN ADD load! Load might be a heavy weight, load might be a faster tempo, load might be more reps. Be creative! It’s your training session! . Whatever kind of load you use, be it weight or tempo, you will set yourself up for success if you take the time to align and prep properly.
