do you have any tips for subtly looking more masculine? I can’t fully transition now because I’m a minor in a confirmed to be transphobic household, and if you have any suggestions that would be amazing

You can try starting slowly incorporating more masculine-styled women's clothing into your wardrobe. This is usually a gradual process anyway since it can take time to save up enough money to purchase enough new shirts/pants/shoes etc. to fully replace your current wardrobe, especially if you're working part-time as a babysitter, dog-walker, etc.
Clothes that are more structured or straight-cut, like button-down shirts or straight-leg pants, can help create a more traditionally masculine silhouette. Layering with hoodies or jackets can also be effective. You can sometimes find these things styled as "boyfriend" clothes, and you can tell your parents that it's the current trend/style. Another easy change is dropping the accessories. That means not wearing feminine necklaces/earrings/bracelets/hairbands, not painting your nails, etc. It's easy to say you want to keep things basic and sporty and that's why you're going without the accessories. Wearing a neutral watch or a smart watch is another accessory to consider instead of a thin-strapped "women's watch" if you wear watches at all that is.
You can see our post on purse alternatives here since bags are often the biggest practical change in the accessory category. Not carrying a purse when you hang out with your friends in the mall, go out on a trip, etc is obviously a high-impact change to make.
If possible, choose a haircut that's more typically masculine. Shorter haircuts, or styles that are longer on the top and shorter on the sides, can subtly change your appearance. If you use a female reference for your photo when you show your parents what you want they may not suspect anything. If a haircut isn’t possible, consider styles like pulling your hair back in a low bun or wearing hats. If you're Black, cornrows, box braids, and locs are styles that can be gender neutral depending on how you wear them. There's a few links on that here.
There are also things you can do to come across as subtly more masculine without buying anything at all.
Sometimes, adopting a more traditionally masculine posture and body language can make a difference. This doesn't usually have a big impact on passing, but it can help you feel better about yourself and boost your self-confidence and reduce dysphoria, and it's something that your family may not notice because it's easy to alter when you're with them. Similarly, you can try voice training and practice speaking in a slightly lower tone or in a more monotone style, which is often perceived as more masculine. Be careful not to strain your voice, though, and maybe avoid doing it while you're with your family. You can see a post about voice training here.
Engaging in exercises that build upper body strength can also help in achieving a more masculine physique. Focus on workouts that target the shoulders, back, and arms. You can often do body weight workouts at home in your room without needing a gym membership or specialized exercise equipment.
Find a support system, whether it's friends, online communities, or a counselor/therapist, who understand and support your gender identity. This can provide a safe space to express yourself and explore your identity. It can help to have other friends who are also masculine to feel like you're not isolated.
Observing and adopting some masculine behavioral cues, like how men typically occupy space or interact in social settings, can also be a subtle way to express masculinity, but you want to be careful that you're not imitating toxic masculinity / obnoxious guys. Similarly, engaging in hobbies or interests that are stereotypically masculine can be a subtle way to align with male peers, but always choose activities that genuinely interest you and you can probably find other guys out there who are also interested in the things you already care about to be friends.
The above suggestions are all things that you can do without your parents necessarily noticing. Binding is something that may not be subtle depending on your chest size, so while it is possible to sometimes bind in front of family without them noticing (saying it's a sports bra, for example) I would recommend keeping your binder in your backpack and only changing into it at school in the bathroom / at a friend's house / in a public bathroom when you're out with friends but not family, etc. unless you really are wearing only a single well-fitting sports bra. It's harder to be seen as masculine or male when you're pre-medical transition and not passing which means people often have to "overcompensate" by being more masculine than they would otherwise choose to be, but as always, I'd like to note that it can be possible to pass as male / be masculine while doing any of the things I recommended changing!
So while I might advise someone who wants to come off as more masculine "don't paint your nails" for example, that is a general rule and doesn't mean that you have to follow those guidelines if you're really passionate about painting your nails. You can always choose whatever gender expression you're comfortable with. There are plenty of guys who wear nail polish and otherwise come across as masculine or who are recognized as men. It's important to remember that masculinity is diverse and there's no one right way to be masculine.

Does an astonishing amount of leg workouts. Only wears bulky/baggy clothing. Says milk is better than protein shakes. Will hang around the gym to gawk at other's workouts. Confuses everyone at the gym with weird personal questions while they're in the middle of sets.
Rui:
Refuses to go to the gym. If he does get dragged there by his family, he sits and watches videos on his phone. If there is a pool, he can be convinced to swim, but only in the shallow end. He will take pictures of people to make fun of them. He's been banned from one gym for this.
Muzan:
Takes private fencing lessons and only works out in the privacy of his own home as he thinks the gym is unsanitary. Will try any and every protein shake and pre-workout, obsessed with staying fit and young-looking. Takes every supplement known to man. Wears joggers and muscle shirts. Hates sweating and mostly just walks a lot on his treadmill at home, despite having several other pieces of gym equipment.
Upper Moons
Kokushibo:
Wears a sweatshirt and joggers at all times, never seems to sweat even when he is exerting himself. He prefers extracurriculars such as akido and karate but goes to the gym to supplement his classes. Thinks pre-workout and protein shakes are scams.
Douma:
Only works out enough to stay physically fit and attractive. Will make unnecessary comments to people at the gym, especially women. He always seems to weasel his way back into gyms after getting kicked out because of his smooth tongue. He spends a lot of time lounging around in the tightest shirts he can buy. Has been sponsored by workout brands for clothing and supplements for his charisma and pretty eyes. There is usually a spike in sales after Douma does a commercial or ad, so he's a highly coveted model.
Akaza:
Does a lot of calisthenics and weights. He will also sprint on treadmills but focuses on building upper and lower body muscle groups. Can do more pull-ups than any of the moons. Wears wife beaters and joggers, basketball shorts if he's going to be running on the treadmills. He's generally a good gym goer but tends to challenge other gym goers to competitions. Kyojuro is the only one who has kept up with him in a challenge. Akaza lives off of pre-workout and protein shakes. He is responsible for getting Douma kicked out of a couple gyms, and vice versa- neither of them can attend the same gym without it coming to a head eventually.
Hantengu:
Hantengu- is an old man who will go to the gym to stare at girls doing squats. He doesn't do much else, except biking on occasion.
Sekido- has gotten in trouble for slamming weights and yelling at his brothers in the gym. He spends most of his time with dumbbells and on the bench-pressing weights while grunting loudly. Only drinks pre-workout, and probably hasn't had a proper glass of water since starting at the gym. He will drag his brothers to the gym and then complain about them being there.
Karaku- is pretty well rounded at the gym, trying out new things and never really sticking to a specific plan. As long as he feels sore by the end, he doesn't care to target anything specific. He will loudly talk and conversate with other gym-goers, and there are actually a few gym employees who like chatting with him. Will eat or drink anything given to him.
Urogi- likes to do parkour and tends to enjoy cardio more than his brothers. He will also attempt to talk to other gym goers but will also nit-pick the way they workout while giving somewhat backhanded compliments. Likes pre-workout but will not drink protein shakes. Wears loose clothing like basketball shorts and oversized t-shirts.
Aizetsu- hates going to the gym and is always asking when they are leaving. He wears oversized hoodies and sweatpants, and exclusively does ellipticals and biking. He will do stretching if no one else is around. Strictly drinks water and tries to never make eye contact with anyone at the gym.
Zohakuten- Gets dragged along with his brothers to the gym even though he hates going. Thinks all of the women there are skanks no matter how they are dressed and makes no attempt to hide his contempt for others. He made a comment on Mitsuri at one point which mysteriously resulted in him accidentally eating a snack that contained peanuts and having an allergic reaction (they never found the culprit, but others have suspicions about a certain black-haired man who wears masks to the gym).
Gyokko:
Wears the weirdest clothes to the gym and is constantly muttering or having full-on conversations with himself/at people about art and the human body. He does very little exercise, stating he mainly comes to the gym for inspiration in his art. He hasn't caused any major trouble, so he hasn't been banned or kicked out, but people tend to avoid him at all costs as he gives a lot of them the creeps- men and women alike.
Daki:
She, like Mitsuri, wears cute matching sets to the gym, but they tend to be more revealing. Daki has also gotten a lot of modeling and ad contracts for workout brands, although her modeling career extends beyond the gym. Daki has been asked out no less than seventeen times while at the gym, all of which she declined. She spends a lot of time preening in the mirrors between sets, and judging people both in her head and out loud. She only drinks protein shakes that are sweet and makes Gyutaro mix them up for her.
Gyutaro:
He only attends the gym because Daki goes. His crippling self-esteem issues force him to wear dark oversized and baggy clothing. Gyutaro sticks to any machines that are inconspicuous and don't draw attention to himself. He has never once slammed his plates, afraid that it will make people look at him. The only time he is okay with people seeing him is when Daki is dealing with a persistent admirer, and she needs him to act as a physical barrier and guard dog. He will only drink energy drinks.

What has personally worked for me to heal my "lower" chakras, was to connect to the different realms of art which has activated all my senses to the fullest. I truly believe it is not necessary to utilize any sophisticated nor any expensive tool: make sensuality your lifestyle and in return sensuality will thank you with its sweetness.
The realm of movement: I started with pole dance which has truly connected me to more fluidity in life...and I will start belly dance soon. However, I do enjoy these belly dance workouts by Leilah Isaac on YouTube. You don't necessarily have to join any dance club or group as you can do it from the comfort of your home. I do believe lots of people underestimate the power of our hips, especially for women. Lots of emotional debris are rooted in our hips, which is the center of our sacral chakra, movement is truly a form of medicine.. A healed sacral chakra (and hips) can help you redirect your energy, think of snakes which can control the energies.. I think it is important for each individual to identify what form of movement is needed for navigating through the specific phase you are, e.g I have noticed when I was in my "I am tired of being the nice girl" phase, I started strength training to gain more mental strength and audacity.
The realm of passion: Ask yourself what truly make you passionate about in life? Is it reading? Is it going on nature walks? Music? Do the people around you make you feel good about yourself and about life? I know it could be difficult sometimes to make time for our passions and deepest wishes and to confront yourself to the truth etc..though but honestly the lust for life you will experience is worth all the efforts and time.
The realm of visuals and smells : During my stagnant period, I totally lost touch with my most adored hobby which are perfumes, oils and essential oils. I have personally realised that cultivating a sacred relationship with your body is a prerequisite to heal your lower chakras. How do you treat your body? Do you listen to your body? Do you give your body the Goddess treatment it deserves?
The realm of emotions: Check in with yourself emotionally..
Archetypal work: I picked up certain archetypes that I wanted to embody as a form of inspiration. For instance, to connect to my sacral chakra and remove all the stagnancy out of my life, I started to connect to archetypes as the exotic dancer archetype.. But most importantly, it must be noted that YOU know what is best for you as intuition comes hand in hand with a healthy sacral chakra.

As a certified #jock do you have any home workout tips? I got to get back into a gym but in the meantime I have a barbell and dumbbells at home but no bench or rack, and I don't want to die in an embarrassing self-inflicted accident
I DO!!! Ok, you might know this but reddit is a goldmine for exercise tips; I really recommend the r/bodyweightfitness wiki, and the FAQ over at r/xxfitness (women-centric, nb/trans inclusive) that has an excellent routine rec page for intermediates & beginners.
PERSONALLY. I love love love Caroline Girvan on youtube, my quarantine workout buddy. I think she's since moved to a paid app, but her workout programs are still up. They are actual programs, with a progression scheme etc; she demonstrates exercises and modifications in the videos; and they're pretty tough depending on the amount of weight you use. They helped me not only keep but also grow muscle mass during lockdown, with just an adjustable dumbell set (I swear I'm not being paid to say this) and they're quite fun, with timed reps, supersets, bodyweight exercises etc.
Each program is 10 weeks, 5x weeks (but you can take it at your own pace) and it includes 1 full body workout, 1 cardio / HIIT / circuit training day, and 2x lower body + 1x upper body or viceversa depending on the week. I'm probably making it sound harder than it is, just check out these playlists:
Epic 1 // Epic HEAT // Iron Series <<< these are the ones I've personally done, but there's a LOT more on her channel. I recommend different weights for lower and upper body if you can swing it, and you'd probably want to modify the exercises to incorporate barbell work where you can manage it - like for lunges and rows - maybe bridge chest press from the floor if you feel up for it?
Fun alternative! If you don't want to follow youtube programs is bodyweight-centred programs? Again I rec bodyweightfitness above, they have loads of resources for recommended progressions for stuff like pistol squats or push-up variations etc. Or work on explosiveness doing jumps dumbell cleans, lunges work etc. I feel like you can build a pretty decent upper body progression program even without a bench doing floor presses and maximising what weight you have doing single-arm stuff (like, one dumbell holds stready, the other arm presses) or playing around with isometric exercises and so on.
If you want to unlock next level home workouts you could also get a kettlebell / abs wheel / other deadly instrument. I HOPE THIS HELPS!!

Hey love!! I’m doing well, this year has been a bit of a whirlwind but ive got my head on straight haha.  I hope you’ve been doing well!
So here comes a very long winded explanation of my fitness journey and some advice coming in!
I started consistently working out in about september/august when I was still in college and had a built in membership in my tuition. There was a womens weightlifting club at my university that helped me get myself comfortable with weightlifting terms/finding some gym buddies until i felt comfortable to start going with myself. I’m now going relatively consistently on my own, my usual routine was 5 days a week but finding the energy to get there while doing my 9 to 5 has been a bit of a time management shift that im trying to get myself back into. 
Funny enough you reach out because I’m currently writing up a new routine for me to follow for the next two months to get more lower body strength training because I signed up for a deadlift competition for charity in june! (absolutely terrified for it because my lower body strength is still pretty light however this is my chance to get my feet on the ground in terms of getting some experience in powerlifting so! Here’s to trying new things lmao)
 I had played around with using some at home weights in the past multiple times but the issue with using a home weight set is that if you’re following a plan of progressive overload (following a weight training regime that consists of increasing weight over time) you’ll  eventually come to a flat stall unless you have a full weight set from 20-50’s with a bench which can be a pretty penny to get. I only had dumbbells that went from 10 to 20s so after i hit that for certain workouts I couldn’t go up. 
However- that being said! At home workouts can be a great place to start to get yourself used to the movements and following a consistent routine so that if you shift into getting a gym membership you already have a bit of a plan you’ve been working with. 
All-in-all, if you’re like me and you have some gym-anxiety I’d maybe start off with working at home, getting yourself comfortable with body weight and beginner weight workouts before shifting into getting a gym membership so when you go in you have the “okay, I know what im doing and what I want to hit” mentality while also working yourself into using the machines over time.

When you’re TTC, moderate forms of exercise for five hours or less per week are typically advised for healthy women of all body types. Try lowering the intensity if you typically push yourself hard and long during your workouts. Replace your strenuous exercise with one of the following suggestions:
Walking
It is a safe exercise for every person. It’s great for your heart, builds endurance, is low-impact, and works wonders to relieve stress.
Dancing
You can bust a move and increase blood flow by dancing. Additionally, dancing provides a respectable calorie burn.
Cycling
A great way to exercise is to ride a bike for 30 minutes a few times per week. If you’re sharing the road, just make sure you’re safe; use a helmet, and keep an eye out for reckless drivers.
Yoga
Yoga is a fantastic way to loosen up (great for giving birth!) and unwind. Yoga can undoubtedly help you manage the stress of infertility. A yoga body is strong and svelte. Don’t push your body too hard when exercising, whether you do yoga at home or in a studio. Bikram (hot yoga) may also not be recommended. Consult a medical professional.
Pilates
A beneficial method for maintaining your health and enhancing your fertility is Pilates. Pilates is calming while still being challenging.
Swimming
One of the best forms of exercise for women who are TTC is swimming. Without overtaxing your joints, you can still get a good cardio workout. When you swim for exercise, you can choose your own pace and increase it. For those who are just beginning a fitness regimen, this is a great option.
Always pay attention to your body, and drink plenty of water. Never put yourself at risk for a fall or injury, and be careful if you don’t regularly exercise because you could become pregnant at any time.
Regular runners might need to put their training on hold for a little while. The best course of action is to put off any marathon training for the time being because long-distance, intense running can occasionally interfere with ovulation.
