Something I just realized about the dragon cry movie that actually kinda pisses me off.

When Natsu was being controlled by Zash, Lucy called out to him, told him to stop, looked like she was going to cry, everything that normally would've made Natsu snap out of it (minus the back hug) and he didn't.

But Lucy gets hypnotized or mind controlled or whatever, and all Natsu has to do is break down a wall and SHES BACK???!!

Natsu would literally die for Lucy, but hearing her call out to him and telling him to stop wasn't enough, but Natsu breaks a wall down and Lucy's just like "Natsu!" like his mere presence can snap her out of the trance.

Like bitch. What.

How can a literal demon not fight off hypnosis for the girl he'd literally burn the world for, but she can just cause he broke a damn wall??

In terms of power, Natsu is quite a bigger more powerful than Lucy. So it boggles my mind she could break free just from seeing him and he couldn't do the same.

The only answer that makes sense to me, at least kinda, is that Lucy just has a stronger mind. Like it's harder for people to maintain control over her because she's so mentally sturdy. And the reason it didn't work on Natsu might be because the whole movie is Natsu having an identity crisis and maybe that's what made him so easy to manipulate and control??

I don't know, but this whole realization just pissed me off no end.

Like damn guys, are just trying to make Natsu feel bad with the flash back of tryna hurt her or....??

Cause my boys had enough already. 😭
