I apologise for the delay in answering it; I had to wait for an instance where I was alone in the house to be able to answer it, and the first time I got one of those I had to stop prematurely because someone got home, so my answer to number 5 was only just recorded even though I have had the answer to 4 for a bit.

It's killing me so much I have to talk about it. Do the people know. Do they know that the men in Youjo Senki are fucking giants.

I talked abt it with a few friends on discord like last month or so, but I need to yell about it on tumblr where more people can become aware.

Using a few images as reference, I did a bunch of measurements by counting pixels using Tanya and Visha (who we have sort of canon heights for) as measuring sticks, and this is what i came up with:

if you want an explanation for my color coding/what the asterisks mean/where the hell did i get these numbers, that's under the read more. but yeah. why are they so tall.

ok so it started upon receiving these two images from a friend (thank you Pumpkin) that give heights for Tanya and Visha

Using some reverse searching I was able to find that these two images come from a game collaboration with a game called Alice Gear Aegis. Whether or not you want to consider the info from a game collab as canon information is up to you, but to me it seems accurate, so all my estimates are based on this data.

Another friend (thank you Luna) provided me these two images that I could use as reference to make some pixel measurements. While the first is a a cleaner looking image, I opted to use the second because it included Lergen, Rudersdorf, Zettour & Anson. I don't really care about the background 203rd members (sorry.)

So I cleaned the image up to get all the lines roughly straight and made them easier to see with some color coding. This is where the color coding on my excel sheet above comes from. This is also the image I used for my pixel counts.

And from here I calculated some ratios. This is where a few discrepancies come into play. So on my excel sheet above I listed that depending on whether you use Tanya or Visha as a measuring stick, you'll get a variance of roughly 10cm/4inches. This is because they're technically not perfectly aligned to one another.

For Tanya shes 140cm tall and 281 pixels. That means 1 pixel is roughly equal to 2.0071cm. When we apply that ratio to Visha though, we should expect her to come out to roughly 321 pixels (160cm * 2.0071). She's 339 pixels though, which would be ~168cm (339px / 2.0071). But we know that's incorrect.

The inverse applies as well. Using Visha (339pixels & 160cm) as a measure, that would make 1 pixel equal to 2.1188cm. That means Tanya is expected to be roughly 297pixels (140cm * 2.1188). In the image Tanya is actually 281 pixels, which would make her ~132cm (281px / 2.1188). Which we also know is incorrect.

This is a weird discrepancy I'm not sure how to account for, so I just said fuck it and went with both options. I set up my Excel sheet to include columns for using both Tanya & Visha as a reference to provide two different estimates, you can choose which you think is more canon.

Personally I prefer to use the measurements calculated using Visha as reference because a 210cm/6'10" Lergen is offensive to my sensibilities. To put it into perspective, I measured the door to my bedroom as 198cm/6'6". I refuse to accept this man being taller than my door.

Ok finally the asterisks:

* Why the note on Koenig? On the image, it's a bit blurry but it looks as though Koenig & Lergen are aligned to the same (pink) line. But when I look at it closely, it really does look to me that Koenig is maybe 1 or 2 pixels shorter than the line. Granted that's not a lot, but there is a small difference so idk.

** Why the note on Anson? In the image, it kind of looks like he's hunched over/leaning down a bit, he's not standing perfectly straight. While he is aligned with Rudersdorf (Green) it could be he's actually a little taller if he stands straight.

Okay, I read this wrong at first and went into a whole rant about Yin and Yang and they’re connected Yozora and Stella then I reread the question and put down this but now lets to the point.

I have some many feelings towards Yozora and Stella since they seem to be connected to Sora and Riku, not to mention the old Final Fantasy 15 too..

Now let's talk about Stella and Yozora:

My favorite thing is that the two of them are based off the old version of Noctis and Luna which I think is pretty cool cause you can see it in the design choice.

Yozora- Now from what we know about Yozora is not that much but I find him really interesting and hope that he is similar to the OG Noctis. I love his design even though he looks like a deviantart verison of Riku which I FIND SO FUNNY.

I feel like he’s gonna be the evil version of Namine, trying to replace Sora's memory with his and Stella or put Sora in Stella's place while also maybe making a false memory of him and Riku.

I feel like Yozora is gonna make Riku to be like some bad person in his memories and replace the good ones with bad and fake ones instead. 

I don’t trust Yozora but I do love him.

Stella- I love her! She is so pretty!! She looks really similar to Sora which at this point I'm convinced that Quadratum may be an alternative Universe maybe??

I wonder what her and Yozora relationship was like and if it was a close relationship like Sora and Riku.

Now, I'm gonna give you some info about the OG Noctis and Luna. Now it was kinda like Romeo and Juliet but it was mostly a kinda unknown one sided relationship? 

Noctis was the one to pined for Stella and tried to pursue her. Noctis doesn’t know how Stella feels for her and you don't know what Stella feels for Noctis. 

Then that reminded me of Sora and Riku. We know how Riku feels toward but we don’t how Sora feels toward Riku. (I don’t even think Sora know, lmao)

With this information it makes me think ‘OMG, what if Yozora was that deeply in love with her?? WHAT IF?!?!’ Knowing this is a Nomura game has me hoping that Yozora and Stella Relationship is shown like that.

Yozora gets ready to tell his feelings for Stella just for her to rip away from him. (Honestly, Nomura would do that…)

Also In the OG story of FF13 Noctis and Luna's families are against each other. So it's kinda enemies to lovers? But Noctis flopped and fell in with his enemy…BEAUTIFUL!

Fun fact: Noctis and Stella out represent white and black too which love that design choice cuz Light and Darkness elements..

Not to mention, Sora being light to Riku darkness which I think will have the same Yozora and Stella thing going on for the both of them...

Cuz, what if Yozora's heart gets taken by darkness and Stella would use the power of light to get it back?? 

Proving to be her light to his darkness!! But I think unlike the OG Stella and Noctis they’re being enemies to lovers. It's gonna be Friends to lovers then to enemies…

Luna is canonically a trans girl, but in terms of her sexuality, I headcanon her to be an ace lesbian. I even made trans and ace pride flags by colourpicking from my headcanon design for her, look!

On the note of romantic F/Os from Reborn, I headcanon Elena to be bisexual! I think she does have a gender but could not tell you what it is if you asked; she's just rolling with being who she is, haha. I also tried making a colour-picked bi pride flag from her sprite, but I couldn't get quite as close:

Okay, now for some other romantic F/Os. I headcanon Skye to be largely agender, using he/him, they/them, and xe/xem pronouns - this is partially because I also headcanon him to be a changeling (because he can use magic when nobody else in the valley can and it's literally never explained), but also partially because I cannot easily believe a cis man would have his "monochrome leopard-print shirt with shoes to match plus purple trousers" fashion sense. I would also say he is bisexual.

I headcanon Pavo to be trans and also a lesbian! Although I do imagine that Celestrians may not exactly have mortal ideas of gender, being divine-created angels and all. I know that she and Aquila are twins, and I want to say they're said to be identical? But Aquila is male whereas Pavo is female (despite, fun fact, aquila being first-declension feminine where pavo is third-declension masculine!), soooo..

And finally.. oh, screw it, have all my Xenoblade ones again. Pyra is a lesbian demigirl, Vanea is asexual and panromantic (plus your description of her as a nonbinary woman also feels very fitting), Perun is trans (in a Blade way) and sapphic, Lora is cis and asexual and a lesbian, and KOS-MOS Re: is a lesbian who is far too overpowered for gender (though honestly I don't really have anything concrete for her yet). In my headcanons, anyway!

Hobi POV

I kiss my girlfriend outside of the dorm, her lips so soft against mine

God, I love this girl so much

She's my everything

Pulling away she smiles at me, "See you soon Hobi"

Hopefully tomorrow because I have something I want to ask her

"Wait Jo"

She looks at the sky, slight panic in her eyes

Why is she looking there?

Is something wrong?

"I have to go Hobi", she says, panic in her voice

What is she panicking about?

Everything is fine

"Ok Jo. I just want to ask you something", I answer

"Can't it wait?"

She's acting really weird and it's throwing me off

"No aegi"

I need to talk to the managers tonight and I need to know her answer

"What is it?", she asks, her eyes looking up at the sky again, then back to me

I ignore the strangeness and talk to her, "Jo, you know tomorrow is the MAMA award show and I wanted to ask you to come with me"

"What?", she gasps her eyes snapping to mine

This is a big thing

I'd be announcing our relationship to the world

We've had to keep it hidden but I'm tired of hiding her

I want everyone to know that I have the most beautiful girl in the world

"I want to take you with me. I want to tell everyone about you. The guys are ok with it. BigHit is ok with it. I just have to tell the managers if you're coming so they can add you to the list and have everything set for you"

"Hobi...I...", she starts, smiling and holding my hands

She's going to say yes and I'm so happy

"Shit", she gasps, doubling over

"Aegi? What's wrong?", I ask panicking

She looks up at the sky again and I notice that the sun is setting

"I have to go Hobi."

"Baby what's wrong? Is something hurting you?"

"I can't.."

"Jo"

"Go away", she yells at me

I'm completely stunned

She has never yelled at me before in the two years we've been together

Ever

"Get the fuck away from me", she shouts, "Go"

She yells in pain, dropping to the ground

There's no way in hell I'm leaving her

"Aegi"

"Go"

"No! I'm not leaving you Joanne!"

She looks up at me and I gasp

Her eye color changed to yellow

Bright yellow

"Hobi go.", she chokes out, "I can't....I don't know if...."

"If what?"

I hear cracking as she screams

What the hell is that?

Is that her bones?

"If I'm going to hurt you. You....need...to"

"Aegi-"

"Run", she cries

What?

Run?

"Run Hobi"

"No"

Her body contorts and I see some bones in her arms cracking and changing

What the fuck?

I move closer to her and she screams at me, "Don't...don't touch me. Don't....you....you can't be here"

Her back cracks, bones popping, making her go on her hands and knees

I don't know what to do

I don't know how to help her

I don't know what's going on

I watch as her hands change, her fingers cracking and getting smaller

Hair starts sprouting all over her body

Holy shit...what the...

She cries out again and the next to thing I know, I'm staring at a beautiful white wolf with golden eyes staring at me

I blink, making sure I'm not seeing things

Did....did my girlfriend just change into a wolf?

Am I high?

Or just insane?

"Jo", I whisper

The wolf looks up at me, growling

Fuck

This is why she told me to run

She thinks she's going to hurt me

But I don't believe she would

She loves me like I love her

And even though she's like this, I know she's still in there

I know she knows me

And I'm not afraid

Instead of running, I kneel down and call her again

"Jo? Baby? Is that you?"

The wolf comes closer to me, still growling

I hold my hand out to her

"It's me aegi. Hobi", I say softly

She sniffs my hand, then circles around me, sniffing my clothes and my hair

This is so fucking weird

But still I don't move and wait for her

She comes back to face me and still, I don't move yet

"Baby", I whisper

She comes closer to me, then lays her head on my shoulder, nuzzling into me

I slowly wrap my arms around her, hugging her tightly

I still have no idea what is going on

All I know is that this wolf is my Joanne

I feel her heart beating against my chest and I notice that hers is beating a lot faster than mine

I lean my head against hers and run my hands along her fur

Christ my girlfriend has fur and I'm petting her

She makes a cute little sound like she's happy

I hope she is

"Aegi, why didn't you tell me?"

She makes a sound like she's answering me

"Baby, I love you. This wouldn't have made me leave you. I'm not going to lie it's weird but it's not going to chase me away"

I look up at the sky and see the full moon

I realize this is why she wouldn't see me three nights in a row every month.

Because she's a werewolf

That is still so fucking weird to think

But I'm not lying to her, I wouldn't leave her for this

If anything it's made me more curious to find out about this side of her

I'm actually surprised at how well I'm taking this and wonder if I'll freak out later

I hear the door behind me open and feel her stiffen in my arms

"It's ok aegi", I say

It's probably one of the guys

"Hoseok what the fuck are you doing? That's a fucking wolf", I hear Yoongi yelling

She starts growling, her fur standing up

"Baby"

"Where did that wolf come from?", Jin panics

"Hoseok get away from it!", Namjoon shouts

I look back to see the guys standing there in fear

She backs away from me so fast, growling and snarling at the guys

Her ears are flat against her head, in an attack stance

"Hoseok move. It's going to attack you!", Jimin yells

"Shut up", I yell, "She's not going to attack me"

"She? How the hell do you know it's a girl?", Jungkook shrieks

She snarls again and I have to admit, it sounds terrifying but I'm not afraid

I refuse to be afraid of my girlfriend

"Aegi it's ok. It's just the guys baby", I talk to her, hoping she'll calm down

"Have you fucking completely lost your mind?", Tae yells, "Why are you talking to it?"

I take a step towards her but she doesn't move

"Hoseok no!"

I hear footsteps moving to me and she gets startled, barking loudly as if she's warning the guys to stay away

I still hear whoever it is coming closer, making her bark again and back up

"Baby no", I panic

If she bolts there's no way I can catch up to her

And I don't know where she'll go or what will happen to her

Whoever is coming to me, gets there, grabbing my arm and pulling me back

Joanne yelps then turn and runs away

"No", I yell, staring to move forward to go after her

"What the fuck Hoseok?", Yoongi yells

He's the one who came to pull me away and is blocking me from following her

"Why are you trying to follow a wolf?", he shouts at me

"Because it's Joanne!", I yell

He looks at me as if I lost it

"What are you talking about?"

"That wolf is Joanne! I don't know what happened but she changed into the wolf in front of me. She thought she was going to hurt me but she didn't. Everything was fine until you all came out, screaming"

"Hoseok did you hit your head? Do you hear what you're saying?", Namjoon asks, concerned

"No. It's Joanne. I saw it"

"You're saying your girlfriend is a werewolf? C'mon Hobi you have to know how that sounds", Jungkook answers

"I know but it's true. And now she's gone. I don't know where she's going. I don't know if she's going to be hurt. I don't know what's she's done before tonight, where she is where she changes", I freak out

"Get him inside. He's delusional", Yoongi orders

"I'm not fucking delusional!", I shout

"Either way, she's gone now. So just go inside and wait until she changes back", he growls

I know he doesn't believe me

I know he's just humoring me for now

But they'll see when she comes back

"Go inside Hoseok", Namjoon commands

I glare at them, then walk past them going inside the dorm and to my room

Sitting in my bed, I'm so worried about her

But the guys are right about one thing

I have no clue where she is

I have no clue where she'd go

And all I can do is wait for her to come back

J POV

I don't know where I'm going, I just run

I didn't hurt Hobi

I knew it was him

I was able to think and not just let the beast take over like it usually happens

I smelled him and knew it was him and I had no desire to hurt him

I let him touch me, hug me and it felt so good

But now as I run, I feel the beast trying to take over

I can't hold onto my mind as it starts slipping into animal mode

I just want to run, feel the ground under my paws, the wind in my fur

I want to smell everything and hunt

The last memories of Hobi fade away, as I run in the night

I smell a familiar smell even though I have no idea where I am

It doesn't smell like food

Not like the rabbit I ate earlier

It doesn't smell like another wolf or an animal

I don't know what it is but I'm drawn to it

As I get closer, I see bright lights and a building

When did I come here?

Wasn't I just in the forest?

Why are there buildings?

The smell is getting stronger and it's like I can't stop myself from following it

Getting closer to the building and the smell, I see a human sitting in front of a door to the building

A human?

The smell is coming from a human?

"Baby?", I hear

Is the human talking to me?

I'm so confused

I normally stay away from humans

They want to hurt me because they're scared of me

But this human isn't

He's walking towards me slowly, calling to me

I try to growl but instead a whimper comes out

What?

I'm surprised I have no desire to attack him either

He sits down near me, legs crossed, holding his hand out to me

His scent is intoxicating and I can't stop myself from moving closer to him

It's smells like my mate

Wait- I don't have a mate

I've never met another werewolf before

"Aegi, Jo. It's me. Hobi"

Hobi?

Why do I know that name?

I can't remember

I get to his hand and smell him

He smells so good and familiar

I move around him, smelling his hair

He smells like Hobi

Hobi

That name brings me out of the fog my mind is in

I feel the beast retreating back into me and my conscience is coming back

This human is my human

This is my Hobi

My mate

My boyfriend, my love

I move back to face him and I lift my gaze to look in his eyes

"Hi baby", he says, touching the top of my head

He moves his hand on my head, petting me

Fuck it feels good

"I was worried about you baby. I was scared that you'd get hurt being out there alone"

I never want him to worry about me

I don't want to stress him out

He has enough stress

I lean my forehead against his, feeling his hand move down my back

"Are you tired aegi? You were up all night"

I am tired and I yelp as an answer

I move, climbing into Hobi's lap and laying down, my head on his knee

"Aww baby.", he says softly, still petting me

The petting is making me so sleepy so I close my eyes, waiting for sleep

I hear voices as I start to wake up

"Why did you bring that wolf inside?", someone shrieks

"Are you fucking insane? That thing will kill us"

"If it comes after me, I'm killing it"

"I'll fucking kill you if you touch her"

I just want to sleep and keep my eyes closed

"You still think this is Joanne? C'mon Hoseok"

"Get it out of the dorm. You wanna cuddle with it, do it outside!"

I yawn, squeaking and hear, "Ok that was cute but still, it's a wild animal. It shouldn't be inside"

"I'm not putting her outside"

I'm just about to open my eyes when I feel pain starting in my limbs

Oh no

My body starts shaking as I feel my bones start to pop

My eyes burst open and I howl in pain

"What the fuck is happening?"

"Get it outside!"

My body shakes as my front leg bones pop, forming my elbows and my shoulders

My back bursts in agony as my spine realigns into a human spine

I feel my knee caps pop back into place, my finger and toe bones splitting and getting longer

My face is in excruciating pain as it changes back to human

My howls turn into human screams, my body shaking hard

The creaking and cracking stops and I breath hard, trying to not cry

I hear something drop and glass breaking

Then yelling

"What the fuck?"

"Did you see that? Did that really happen?"

"Am I drunk? Is this a dream?"

"Did that wolf just turn into Joanne?"

"She's a werewolf. Oh my god werewolves are real"

"What? How? Why? What?"

God they're talking so loud and it hurts my head

Then I feel a blanket cover me and fingers running in my hair

"Are you ok aegi?"

It's Hobi

Oh my god he saw me change

Twice

He must be so scared of me

He's going to leave me

I know it

This is too much for a person to handle

He's already stressed enough with his career, he doesn't need to be worried about me attacking him

I should of known this was going to happen

Should of known I could never hide something like this

I'm a fucking idiot

"I...I...", I stammer

"Are you sleepy baby? We can go to sleep for a while"

Sleep?

That sounds good

Then I won't have to deal with everything right now

I nod, then I feel lips kissing my cheek

"Ok baby, we can sleep"

I feel arms around me, lifting me up

"Where are you going?"

"She's tired and wants to sleep. So do I. I was up all night worrying about her"

Fuck, that is not what I wanted

He has an award show tonight, where BTS has to perform

He should of slept last night, not worrying about my dumbass

"Are we not going to talk about the fact that your girlfriend can change into a wolf?"

"No. Not now and not until I talk to her first"

"But-"

"Good night. Or good morning. Whatever", Hobi snaps

I feel movement which I guess is Hobi walking

I don't open my eyes so I'm not sure

The next thing I know, I feel something soft under me

Hobi's bed

I feel him lay down next to me, then pull me into his arms

Burying my face in his neck, I smell the same scent that brought me back here last night

His smell

I feel myself relax as I cuddle into him more

He kisses my forehead and just as I'm falling asleep, I hear him say, "I love you"
