#lynz discourse

do you think gerard is still friends with jimmy or nah
ummmm i try not to think about it and also like i remember the discourse from when the stuff about jimmy first came out (like the allegations, we've known about the msi pedo lyrics and slurs for years which ppl love to ignore) ppl wwere like stoop making this about gerard, and i agree, its NOT about gerard. its about the victim who i feel terribly for. but also at the same time, i am not an msi fan, i am an mcr fan and gerard's relations to/friendship with jimmy is something that makes me sometimes like. have to think critically about how i feel about gerard. and like yes, when the allegations came out and people started dogpiling gerard in in his instagram comments on one hand it was like ppl were definitely taking it too far by feeling like they had the right to tell him he needs to get a divorce, but gerard SEEING all of the comments begging him to cut ties with jimmy and his response being to turn off comments and continue to follow jimmy (when frank and mikey unfollowed) yes it left a sour taste in my mouth!!!!!!
i want to think that gerard is a better person and a better father than to continue to support someone like that. and i do believe, based on mcr booting dewees for the reunion when he was initially involved int heir planning, that gerard cares too much about his reputation to PUBLICLY associate himself with jimmy again in the future. but as far as if he's actually cut him out of his personal life, i dont know and i dont think we'll ever know because i highly doubt gerard will make a statement on it.

so sick of the volcano shake 'em up discourse like yeah lynz had backing vocals i know she's problematic af but kids these days have no idea what that song did for the gay community. does genz have any idea how fucking freeing it was to hear "the closet door opens" for the first time? do they know that openly talking about queer love and anti-capitalist sentiments just wasn't done back then? this song broke grounds and you shouldn't throw it away just because it mentions pompeii and you can kinda hear lynz in the background (honestly i had to replay the chorus like fifteen times trying to hear her) like grow up

It's always the frerardies that have a Lynz call out ready. You act so high and mighty about being 'normal' about the guys but then you'll drag G's wife. You refuse to even ponder that she might have changed since then. You're just so obsessed its embarrassing but I'm not surprised since you're the same person who makes jokes about Frank being G's wife. It's obvious your hatred for Lynz is rooted in you fixation on frerard and the fact that Lynz is a woman because you've never called out a 'problematic' guy. You've never said anything about Frank saying a slur or his imperialist tattoo, and you support other bands like Fall Out Boy who have 'problematic' members. Just shut up for once
Okay so here is this fun cool fact, I can make frerard jokes without being a frerardie. And let's say I am a frerardie for a minute, even with that being true that doesn't remove the fact that Lynz did all the things she did. And when have I claimed to be better than anyone else? We're all at devils sacrament here. Similarly I have never said anything about Frank because for one I have no say on what Frank can and cannot say especially when he said it when he was in his early twenties and had probably been called that slur numerous times. That and I have no idea what his intention was with the tattoo but I don't believe Frank had any malice in mind when getting that design tattooed. And as for fall out boy, do I look like a fall out boy blog to you? Do I look like I deal in fall out boy discourse? Also they're not problematic?

I'm not a big blog and I usually stay out of drama on this site but I'm begging other white ppl especially to think for 5 seconds before messaging black and brown mcr fans about discourse. Its not their responsibility to arbiter lynz drama or to explain how racism works. Sometimes you need to just sit with discomfort and keep your mouth shut

i have seen nothing on twitter about a shirt, however "lynz" trended for a while because of something about her being born in conneticut or something. idk i don't pay attention but i'm not seeing whatever niche discourse you guys are

why do gerard way dickriders always say that lyn-z like beats him and like baby gerard and say like “o-oh he didn’t know who he married😢”
he’s a grown man with dick, balls and a brain. he knows who he’s married- and i can’t help but attribute the overbearing hatred of lyn-z to jealous little teenagers who are upset he’s married and mindless self indulgence antis who spend all their time spreading misinformation.
most famous people who have wives their wives are notoriously hated or disliked for very minor reasons and it all stems from a place of jealousy. it’s actually kind of ridiculous, a celebrity can be seen with a woman and all of sudden article after article are made bashing the man or the women etc etc—
to say that a man doesn’t know who he has married because she did a few things that aren’t the best is actually so stupid. gerard is 46 not 16, he is entirely capable of making his own decisions and it’s so insane i have to say that.
okay that’s all i’ve got, just wanted to spew lmfao

why would it be ‘a red flag’ to stan lynz when she is a celebrity herself, agree with you 100% that the other wives are private and not to be obsessed over because they literally keep to themselves but that anon saying stanning gerards wife is a red flag i don’t understand
stanning lynz being a red flag is due to her character, not her celebrity status.

I've always wondered how much of it was Gerards choice to change therapist and how much was Lindsey's influence. She benifits a lot form Gerard not working through his trauma. Its sus af that she was the one to recommend a therapist. Even in a healthy relationship, your partner shouldn't be shoping around for a therapist on your behalf. Nothing about this situation is healthy or normal. It just shows how overbearing Lindsey is.
Overbearing indeed. It's difficult to want to exist in public spaces when your partner treats you like a child and insists on "fixing" things for you. Shocking to think this isn't event the peak of her behaviour.
