LUCID DREAMS + VIVID SHIFTING DREAM!

i believe that before this dream i had been struggling with lucid dreaming a bit (i hadn't had one in the past few weeks and was doubting my ability) when i did have one. i can't remember this one very well since it was a little while ago but i do remember that i'd read that if you close your eyes in the lucid state you're sent straight to the void state, and while i didn't do so, the dream faded away and i thought this was the perfect time to try to shift.

i think part of what i did incorrectly was not set a firm intention - i just wanted to shift - but i ended up waking up in a bed and grover, percy and annabeth were in the same room sleeping.

now, i haven't yet finished my pjo script (like, at all) but i did think i shifted, mainly because of how incredibly vivid the dream was. i tried doing reality checks in the dream but didn't focus on them enough (trying to breath through a closed nose tends to work, though in more vivid dreams i find that there's an initial resistance, almost like i can't breath through it, so i try to do longer reality checks during the day because of this).

anyway, in the dream i walked around excitedly because i was like, "this is it, i shifted", though i overlooked lots of odd aspects about the world since it was a dream. when i woke up i was partially bummed that i didn't shift but this was also great motivation.

i also had a lucid dream another night where i was able to create a portal for the first time! i have had trouble controlling dreams especially in the past so during the day i planned what i was going to do in the dream, which was to accio a sword (luke's sword from pjo) and use it to create a portal.

i ironically had a dream before this about both hp and pjo, but anyway, after i woke up i was still tired so i closed my eyes and allowed the dream to materialize in front of me, and once it was tangible i started moving around. i accio'd a sword, and it worked! then i created a portal but woke up prematurely 😭

but that's about it! i don't know what it is with me and having 'false shifts' in my dreams but they're pretty common. i just tend to use them as motivation!!

i’m a casual (insane) figure skating fan. rika kihira lovebot, rino matsuike stan, kaori sakamoto 2026 ogm truther. i dream in omens. i’m a wannabe perfume snob. i drink lemon tea like it’s holy. i’ve watched every adaptation of alice in wonderland. i use red cherries as blush and wear too much silver eyeshadow. i sleep with crystals under my pillow and i talk to faeries. i tend to lurk behind the chaos and i have a habit of not talking. at all.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

Miniature portrait of Scotty I drew in the note space of January 14th in my 2024 diary, which is the day I watched this movie for the first time. It's taken me this long to actually get him drawn!

When I started illustrating my diaries later than originally intended, I decided that I wasn't going to draw anything a year or more later after watching whichever media I wanted to draw something from. That was when I thought I'd never leave it that long, but here we are! I don't know why it took me so long to draw this one, even after I started it. I didn't encounter many difficulties in drawing his outline or shading him in. I don't think I ever truly got my art-block from October, sadly.

This is the first miniature portrait I've drawn in my 2024 diary! My goal is to have finished illustrating 2024 before the end of this year...

This is probably my second favourite Star Trek movie of all time, it's just wonderful! I decided to draw Scotty because he's wonderful in the scenes he's in, and after drawing Kirk, Spock and McCoy for the first three movies, it just felt right to follow up with Scotty. I wish I could've finished this in time for James Doohan's birthday! I drew the title based off of one of the original movie posters.

LUCID DREAM + DREAM ABOUT SHIFTING!

so i've been trying out lucid dreaming methods and techniques to help me with shifting, and i've been really consistent with dream journaling whenever i wake up and doing reality checks every 2 hours or so (doing them more often is even better, but i just have reminders set at this interval). i've had 1 brief lucid dream about a month into doing this after never having one before and last night i tried out this lucid dreaming method before i fell asleep.

i didn't expect much of it, and i ended up waking up at around 6 or 7 without dreaming, so i decided to give it a try again after being awake for a little while and IT WORKED?? at some random part of my dream i just said out loud 'i'm dreaming' without doing a reality check or anything, i just sort of became aware and then i tried to shift to my dr by setting an intention and falling backwards but i just went into another dream. but after that the dream randomly changed (as they do) and i woke up in bed and i saw steve from stranger things and i thought i shifted there accidentally so i got up and started feeling the walls and paying attention to how to ground felt and just seeing how real it felt and it was so VIVID.

this is honestly just so cool to me because lucid dreaming has never been something i've been able to do. i've dream journaled here and there but i've never really committed to it but it's worth it for anyone who's debating whether they should try! i've really struggled with it but sticking to it (i believe) is key.

TIG CHILDHOOD HCSSSSS

you ask, i deliver. here are some tig childhood hcs that me and my fever delusions made. enjoyyyy 💖

grayson used to look up to nash so he attempted to ride horses but ended up hating it bc it got him dirty so he stopped

in early middle school this girl had a crush on grayson and since him and jameson we’re besties at that point so jameson kept running up and down the hallway passing notes for the girl and grayson and being their messenger so they would hold hands at recess

thea stole her moms makeup in first grade for picture day and did her makeup and she thought she looked amazing but in reality it was terrible and her mom didn’t realize until she got home and she was livid and pictures turned out terrible

avery loved coloring and whenever her mom would have a little extra money she would buy her a new coloring book and new crayons and ave thought she was a princess

xander loved the board game mousetrap and would force everyone to play it with him

grayson would write poems and songs but always threw them away because he was worried they weren’t good enough

thea had a huge 1d obsession and would sing their songs in the mirror with the hairbrush as a microphone (she even read those quirky y/n “she’s so different, let’s invite her on stage” and being kidnapped and sold to 1d fix’s even if she won’t admit it)

rebecca loved jellybeans and would always try different kinds of them whenever she could

jamie loved musicals but eve said they were dorky and made fun of him so he stopped liking them (he eventually got back into them tho bc ave told him it was cute he was a theater dork)

lyra would watch angelina ballerina and dream about getting her big-girl pointe shoes

xander broke multiple beds by jumping on them

gigi and savannah would wake up early and watch cartoons and eat cereal on the couch and sav would always be so careful not to make a mess but gigi would never fail to spill her milk on the floor

max read wattpad and a03 and write fics of her fav book series under her blanket on a secret account so her parents couldn’t see her activity bc they were 🌶️ SPICY 🌶️ and her religious and strict parents would not approve

libby would dye her hair with household items (food coloring, kool-aid, etc.) before she was able to get it died with real hair dye

alisa would doodle nash’s name and write love notes to him in her diary with pink sparkles and a little lock during recess

ave would have to kiss her mom good night every night or else wouldn’t be able to sleep

eve would take other kids toys and when confronted she would cry and manipulate them because “she’s sick” and her parents would just enable her

jameson would always be the try-hard during pe and always do the most at recess and had all of the ladies swooning

Star Trek III: The Search For Spock

Mini drawing of Doctor McCoy from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock that I drew in the note space of December 16th in my 2023 diary, which is the day that I watched this film for the first time.

I had an absolute nightmare drawing this one, which is why it’s so late. First it took me ages to get the facial features right, then I spent ages trying to work out just how many different colours there were in the image I chose, then meticulously blending them all on each part of the drawing. I knew that it was probably a bad idea to pick that specific reference, because of how many colours there were reflecting off of McCoy, but I went ahead with it anyway. I put quite a bit of pressure on myself for this one too, because this is my favourite of the Trek movies, and Dr McCoy is my favourite character, so I wanted this one to be especially good. However, I have never been so happy to complete a diary illustration before! I suppose I am happy with how he came out, but I still feel he could've been better. It took me from Dec 21st to Jan 13th to do the whole thing (granted I did take a break over Christmas and new year and then I got I’ll, so I suppose I should cut myself some slack).

By the time I got to writing in the title, I’d just about had it with the project, so I don’t really like how it came out. The font and colours are based on one of the original movie posters.

On the bright side though, this was the very last drawing I had to do in my 2023 diary! On to 2024 now…

LISTEN I take back everything I ever said about g3 in the past two years I’m dumb and stupid and I love it BUT I will say the one thing that’s been bugging me about it is…. Why did they give all the main characters both biological parents (minus Deuce as I’m not sure whether Lyra has any bio relation)???

Most of the main characters in g1 had either one living parent or divorced parents or adopted and to be honest that was good rep (as minor as it was, as most rep was actually in the diaries) the p much the only big showing of divorced parents even AROUND that time was Phineas and Ferb (hehe mentioning my two big special interests)

Draculaura was adopted after her mom died, Lagoona/Clawdeen/Cleo only showed one parent, Frankie was created by one man, and YES I know that g3 wants to avoid talking about death but you can have different types of families without saying a parent is dead!! All we really have is everyone with a mom and a dad, then deuce with two moms, and spectra with her ghoulma. And to be honest!! It’s fine!! Not everything HAS to be represented everywhere!! And I know that g3 is an alternate universe!! But it’s still a bit disappointing that pretty much everyone has two parents now
