Can we expect any more raider joel? 🥹 I'm drunk but I had this idea today about how Sweet Pea is culinarily super limited and she'd probably cry the first time she tasted kraft mac n cheese...and joel would become obsessed with getting her new foods, training her to be a little housewife even. she was so happy about the chef boyardee, i agree Joel would love to come across anything he could bring home to her. ten yrs into the outbreak, no matter her age she could get excited to see the faded blue kraft box, especially if it was something she enjoyed regularly before. i can imagine him walking up the hill with just a little bloodsplatter on his shirt, suppressing a smile knowing what he has in his bag for her. then the best part of his day is her face and the way she hugs him 💙 you can pretty much always expect more raider joel.

You wake up and open your eyes due to the trill sound of your alarm, the bright red numbers on the device flashed. Whining as you shut it off and opted to lay in bed for a few more minutes before your mother knocked on the door. “Honey wake up, breakfast is on the table.” she declared in which you just hummed before getting out of bed and headed downstairs.

Your mom asked you a few questions but you really didn’t have the energy to respond with much enthusiasm. After eating you heading back into your bedroom to get dressed, thinking of dressing a little nice today just to make yourself feel a little better. Slipping into a tight black dress with a white long sleeved half-top over it, white dainty leg warmers and black mary janes. You looked in the mirror and nodded softly in approval of your outfit, sitting down at your vanity to do a but of makeup so you didn’t look like you were running on fumes.

Soon leaving your home and you started your walk to school; you lived close so you didn’t mind the 10-15 minute walk every morning. Happy that you could just listen to music and be left to think.

Humming softly to ‘Dreams’ by Fleetwood Mac as you walked to your locker and grabbed things you needed, putting away things you didn’t. Before you knew it you felt yourself being pushed against the lockers, a soft groan coming from you because you knew who the culprit was before even turning around. “Morning to you too Hargrove.” you said before taking your headphones off and resting them around your neck. You closed your locker and turned on your heel to face Billy whom was walking around with his disciples as always.

“Uh huh. Tryin’ to impress today?” he asked and all you did was roll your eyes before putting your headphones over your ears again and walking to your first class. You didn’t even give Billy the time of day, knowing the attention is what he wanted. He wanted you to get mad. And you weren’t going to give into it.

You greeted the teacher as you walked into class and immediately took your seat. You liked this class apart from one significant detail. Billy sat next to you. Damn assigned seating. He sat beside him and you glanced over at him which he caught, knowing he did because a smirk was shown on his lips. “Like what you see princess?” he whispered and you couldn’t help but clench your thighs together but you played it off with a glare before you got to work.

Normally Billy’s pestering all class long doesn’t get to you but something just snapped. You just couldn’t hold it in anymore. “Jesus Christ Billy can you just shut the fuck up for 5 seconds?! I know you think your all that because ever girl bends over backwards to get fucked by you and you think the world owes you because of your home issues or whatever but guess what? The world doesn’t fucking revolve around you! We all have our baggage and I’m really not interested in whatever lack luster run down you have to give on what you think I am like or how my home life is. Just give it a fucking break already and stop acting like such a fucking child.” You said sternly which left his pretty blue eyes wide; not expecting an outburst like that from you. You scoffed at him before grabbing your things and excusing yourself from class. ‘Jesus I need a cigarette...’ you mumbled before the bell rang, signaling to head to your next class. Boy was it going to be along day.

When it was time for lunch, you made your way to the cafeteria like normal. But before you can enter you were stopped by Dale, some guy who is in your history class. You’ve exchanged words rarely so you have no clue why he is stopping you. “Can I help you?” you asked and he looked you up and down which made your stomach uneasy. “Yea I can think of a few things.” he said as he came a little closer to you which made you back up in response to his very obvious advance onto you. “Dale I think you should-” you started to speak but he grabbed your wrist and pulled you to him. “No no no.. you listen to me now. You can’t just come to school dressed like a fucking slut and be shocked when a guy comes up to you.” he replied, a whine coming from you has his grip on your wrist tightened.

Before you knew it you were being pulled away by one of your girl friends. You looked back and saw Dale with blood covering his face, Billy wailing on him as his fists where covered in blood. As the situation deescalated you got away from your friends and chased after Billy, grabbing his shoulder softly. “Billy” you called out and he turned to face you. Holding his hands as you seethed at the wounds on them. “Come with me.” you whispered and Billy followed without even a word.

You decided to leave early, your excuse being you were both shaken up over the incident. The walk to your house was silent, tension so thick it could be cut with a knife. You brought Billy to your room and told him to wait there so you could grab everything to fix him up. He looked around your room from his seated position, a soft breath coming from him as he rolled his eyes. Your room exactly matched your personality. 

Billy averted his eyes back to his bloody knuckles when he heard your soft footsteps come closer to your bedroom. You sat beside him and grabbed the supplies you needed before peering up at him. “Umm. This is probably gonna sting a bit.” you warned to which he just nodded in response. Cleaning his wounds didn’t take long but you also tended to the cut on his lip. Trying to stay focused; but you found yourself admiring his features, looking into his eyes when you noticed he had been doing the same. The pair both cleared their throats and you got up to clean up all the bloodied supplies. 

“B-Billy... If you don’t mind he asking... I mean hell you don’t owe me an answer after the outburst in class today...” you vented before sighing heavily and sitting beside him. “Why did you do it? I mean... Why did you stand up for me?” you asked, a hint of fear in your voice because you’ve never seen Billy so angry before. Billy looked up seeming to you that he was just trying to process his words in a way that would be coherent. “Listen... I know that I uh- I’m not very nice to you. Ever. And you yelling at me earlier today kinda made me realize;” he started to explain before grabbing both of your hands. “That the reason I’m mean is because I’m scared of you getting to close and seeing... Me really... Dammit I know that probably doesn’t make any fuckin’ sense...” he vented and you tilted your head a bit, giving Billy a soft smile before reaching your hand out and cupping the side of his face gently. “Oh Billy..” You whispered before he eventually looked at you. “Y’know I do admit.. I really hate that you treat me the way you do everyday... But I have to admit that I’ve heard the rumor around school about your.. father. And I’ve seen you with a black eye before. I just thought it was just another stupid fight because y’know. Your Billy Hargrove.”

There was a long pause before you swiveled your body and sat directly in front of him; but he took the chance to speak first. “I just want to say that I’m sorry.. And that the reason I kept you at a distance is because I was afraid. Afraid of you seeing... me really... I know it might not mean anything and your more than welcome to just kick me out but... I like you...” he whispered as he looked into your eyes with those pretty baby blue of his that made you melt anytime you made eye contact. Your heart instantly melted because you could tell he was serious, not a doubt about a single thing he just said. He was truly being honest.

 Before he knew it your lips were on his, He wrapped his muscular arms your waist and pulled you into his lap with ease as he tilted his head to deepen the kiss; which you of course followed his lead with. “I’m gonna need you to promise..” you started before sitting up and looking into his eyes. “Promise that you wont push me away...” Those words hit him and he thought for a few seconds before nodding. He reached up and took one of his dangly spiked earrings off and handed it to you. “I promise.” he told you and you smiled before putting the earring on. The both of you laughing softly before laying in your bed, just drowning in each others company.

anyway i love twice as bad and bad end wukong but my happy ending/healthy relationship-craving ass sometimes imagines nothing bad happening to Peaches and Wukong miraculously has the patience to wait until he and Mac can properly woo their beloved. and when they reveal themselves and take that chance? it takes...a bit to process and then some getting used to, but Peaches is chill w it (bc of course she is) as long as she gets to know her boys as themselves and not as, yknow, disguised monkies. she gets taken to FFM (this time with consent. kinda) i like to imagine Peaches is certainly happier this way even tho she still gotta deal with the monkies'...understanding of love, but yknow it begs the question. how different would they be in this AU from their original counterparts? they'd still be suffocatingly affectionate and protective of course (bc even if nothing's bad happened yet, their Peach could still get hurt) but would they allow themselves to be influenced at least a little by Peaches' good influence? understand some boundaries at least?

honestly, the boys would be more influenced by reader in this one. maybe not dramatically (they still enjoy pillaging and beating up other demons), but they'd be considerably more merciful towards mortals at least. maybe let the villagers leave the town before they raze it to the ground, y'know? if reader really, really doesn't want them to kill the peasants, then.....maaaybe they can make an exception once in a while.

no but like lyla and you and matty at the wedding... she and you (she's in your arms) are the first to walk down the aisle before the other bridesmaids and charli, and she's good as gold but shyly clinging onto your necklace and it's the most adorable thing on the planet. george beams at the sight of you both - he kisses her little head and yours as you pass him actually it's really endearing. your bro! - and nudges matty (best man, standing right next to him. as always), who's tearing up a) because his girls look so beautiful and b) you're walking down the aisle towards him and he's going delulu (everyone else knew this would happen to him lmfao). nevertheless, he manages to chill enough that he can wink at you (and blush when you reciprocate), and stroke lyla's face and kiss your hand as you pass him. after you and matty have both cried through the ceremony, you walk back down the aisle together; he has lyla in one arm and your hand in his free one, and it's so sweet. less sweet when he covers her ears to whisper in yours "you look so fucking hot. am i getting to cop off with this bridesmaid tonight?", though, but you giggle and say "your mum agreed to watch lyla tonight, then?" - matty's like "didn't even have to ask her. she just offered", so you kiss him quickly and say "well, come and find me at the end of the night then, gorgeous", at which matty practically swoons lol. but then it's back to wholesome parent mode, while the wedding pics get taken and lyla needs a feed/nap before the reception (your friends/fam all take turns watching her, though, bless them). she gets a bit weepy during the speeches, though, so matty has to do his while he's holding her (she literally would not settle otherwise) - again, her little ears have to be covered at parts, but it's pretty funny. you dance with your baby for a bit, then denise takes her up to bed when she goes up herself and tells you to have fun lol; after that, matty's in Romancing My Gf mode, slow dancing with you and getting you champagne and kissing you when the two of you sneak out for smoke breaks. but he isn't doing it to turn you on, specifically - he just loves you, and he's having a good time celebrating his best friend getting married. speaking of, you dance with and chat to all your friends, and it's you who catches the bouquet when charli chucks it, much to everyone else's delight; carly and mrs mac look pointedly at matty like "get a move on, healy", and he rolls his eyes but there's a softness in them as he watches you get all cutely flustered holding the bridal bouquet. he brings it up to you during the next slow dance, like "you know, the next one of these things we go to COULD be ours. i do really wanna marry you, darling, s'all i've been thinking about today", and you smile into his neck and say "i'd quite like that. feel a bit left out at home, not being a healy lol" - matty's like "well, let's not wait too long to change that, then", and then you have a sweet kiss and continue dancing together. and yeah, of course, after the party ends you go back to your room (lyla is still with her nana) and get it on; it's sweet, but jesus christ, it's good, a "fancy clothes strewn across the floor, multiple rounds with a cigarette afterwards" moment. it's just dreamy, really <3

People in this fandom who are staunchly against "shipping" any of the guys with each other annoy me to no end. Especially because they come across as so smug and superior for not being "delulu" enough to believe any of the guys might not be heterosexual or *gasp* in a relationship with each other. They see "shippers" or in our case supporters, as the laughing stock of the fandom and I truly wonder if they realize how homophobic they come across.

Why is it okay for people to speculate on whether the youngest kardashian is back together with her baby daddy and collect clues to figure out if she's pregnant but it's not okay to go hmmmm, it looks like something's going on between jikook, lemme look a little deeper. Why treat us like outcasts? I get doing that for shippers who take it too far and directly involve the guys in it like taekookers who commented all that mess under Jimin's comments recently.

But that's not the reason they hate us.

Months ago my whole twitter timeline was having a ball trying to figure out if ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were in fact back together because of rumors and a few pictures. Nobody was laughing at them. Nobody thought they were "weird" for any of this.

So while I understand some people not getting why we would think any of the guys are queer or dating each other, I absolutely hate the ones who seek to laugh us out of the fandom based on their homophobic world view.

Just had to get that off my chest 😭

What I keep hearing is: "you can't assume their sexuality".

That's a good one for me, because, as far as I can see, isn't the outright denial that there could be a relationship between two male band members assuming their sexuality?????

And also, the outright denial there could actually be a romantic relationship between two members of the same band. Really? Never heard of before, was it?

No doubt - Gwen Stefani & Tom Dumont.

Fleetwood mac - Stevie Nicks was in a relationship with Lindsey Buckingham and had an affair with Mick Fleetwood. Same band Christine Mcvie and Jhon Mcvie were married, later divorced.

Abba - Agnetha Fältskog and Björn Ulvaeus married then divorced & Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad married then divorced.

There are plenty more, even in K-pop, heaven help us.

Former Triple H members HyunA & Dawn are a clear example.

And a little digging (no deep digging really needed here) brought me even more earth shattering information. That there were even gay couples, OMG, in K-pop bands.

Seungho & B.Nish from DIP being one of those couples, and funny thing is how low and behold, there were signs and suspicions before the truth came out.

So, no, it's definitely not unheard of that people that spend many hours together, create music together, work together, let alone live together (K-pop), become romantically involved and fall in love.

It can happen in co-ed bands and god forbid in all male or all female bands.

Not willing to see this, ruling it out all together, that comes from nothing else than homophobia. No other explanation.

We are not delusional. We see signs. Signs for something that is possible and plausible. Ruling it out completely as something impossible that's being delusional.

firstly, it’s insane to me that they’re both just… there. together. already. so subtly cute. i imagine the situation a lot like the two of them dancing w her in the third part of their breakup au!!! like she’s such a little ball of energy and forcing them together (not that it would be difficult, of course, knowing how much they’d been pining for each other).

i feel like they’d keep their babysitting gig very simple— put on a movie for eilidh and order a pizza, maybe matty and girly crack into some wine to cool the stress of mr’s mac being in labor. as for the movie i see it being something disney princess-esque, for the sake of this let’s call it tangled. because tangled is always gonna be the perfect thing to watch with someone you’re crushing hard on of course!

eilidh wants them all to share a blanket while they watch the movie, so matty and girly end up super close and cuddly and all flushed over it. i think eilidh would fall asleep halfway in, curled into matty. it’s the sweetest, most adorable thing, and girly would tell him such.

that’s all i’ve got but those two are quickly rotting my brain

yes to all of this. tangled!!!! him looking at you subtly during i see the light... i am going to be Sick. and yes eilidh's only two so she def falls asleep and matty carries her to her bed (in my head this is all happening at the macdonald house) and you both go slightly insane about the intimacy of tucking her in and sneaking out of the room so you don't wake her up. maybe there's a bit of you and matty falling asleep on each other on the sofa too, waking up cuddling and being really blushy about it... yeah. i'm delulu <3
