Franklin, Trevor, and Michael making up with you after an argument:

Franklin Clinton:

Arguments with Franklin are fairly rare. He’s a pretty level headed, loyal partner. But, like every relationship, arguments do happen.

Despite being kind, loyal, and loving, Franklin is also stubborn. It can be the cause of several of your arguments. And can also lead to him refusing to admit he’s wrong right away.

But once he does realize he’s been wrong, and understands that he’s upset you, he’ll go to the ends of the earth to make it up to you.

He’ll come to you like a sad puppy- curling up beside and gently taking your hands in his. He’s had time to think about what went wrong, and what was done to start the argument to begin with. He wants to talk it over, wants to get to the root of the problem to make sure it never happens again. He’ll stay up all night talking with you, and apologizing, until he’s sure everything is resolved and that you’ve forgiven him.

He may buy you something small and sweet the day after the fight. A teddy bear or a bouquet of roses aren’t uncommon after the two of you have had a disagreement. And for a few days afterwards, he treats you especially gently. He hates hurting your feelings or making you mad. So, he wants to prove just how much he does love you. Even if you two do argue.

Trevor Philips:

Arguments with Trevor are fairly commonplace. He’s set in his insane ways, and always self assured that he’s right. He’s more apt to listen to reason when it comes to you. But his erratic, wild behavior, and bad, dangerous habits are normally the root of arguments between you two.

There are several ways things can go after you two argue. But more often than not, it’s a couple days of passive aggressive comments and the silent treatment, until he’s convinced that this is the fight that’s going to split you guys apart. And then comes the waterworks.

He comes, literally, crawling back to you on his hands and knees, sobbing and snot nosed as he begs you not to leave him. He’s usually fairly high when he breaks down like this, so talking to him is slightly difficult. But he babbles at you non stop- telling you how much he loves you, how sorry he is, how he’s “such a worthless shit”.

The true talking it out usually comes the next morning, or afternoon, depending on how fucked up he got. But after his tears dry up and he’s caught his breath from all the sobbing, his usual method of making up with you is desperate, clingy sex. He doesn’t have a very good grasp on such big emotions, so he shows them physically instead of verbally. And you can feel his love and remorse through every press of his lips and every touch of his rough, scarred hands.

Michael De Santa:

He has issues with loyalty and honesty. You knew that before you got with him. But it doesn’t make the arguments that ensure because of it any easier.

He’s stubborn, self assured, and hot headed. Getting Michael to admit he’s wrong is like pulling teeth. And getting him to apologize is harder than winning a one man war. Once you two start to fight, it can last for days. And because of his petty, passive aggressive attitude, he sometimes tends to make things twice as bad.

It’s almost never that you hear him actually say “I’m sorry”. But eventually, after a few days of fighting, he realizes he’s being a child and understands that he was wrong. Even if he won’t admit it. So, he shows it the best way he knows how. Through gifts.

You’ll come home to find expensive jewelry on your pillow, or a new outfit hung up for you in the closet. He’ll have your favorite dinner made, and he’ll buy the wine he knows you like the best. He won’t apologize to you. But over dinner, he’ll take your hand, tell you how beautiful you look, and say something like “Let’s not fight anymore, angel. You know I hate seeing you upset.”

You know he’s too prideful to apologize. So, usually it’s just easier to cut your losses and accept that, while he’ll never verbally apologize, this is his version of saying “I’m sorry”. You know he truly is apologetic, and you love him, so you both agree to let this go and move on. He’s a good man, he’s just a little emotionally immature at times.

So because I can't update Sink or Swim like I want to, I decided to whip this up.

For Rosaria

Starting from the left side, we have the actress Marisa Abela who originally served as a means of inspiration for Rosaria’s facial features. Peggy Olson from Mad Men, Retsuko from Aggretsuko, and the movie Secretary.

On the right side we have lyrics from the song "Bad Girls" by Tennis, American Crime Story: Impeachment, Andrea Sachs from The Devil Wears Prada, Waylon Smithers from The Simpsons and the film Funny Girl. I watched Secretary before writing Sink or Swim because I knew it had the tone I wanted with its lead character essentially having a 'sexual awakening' through her boss. A narrative element that connects Aggretsuko and Secretary, beyond its office setting, is how its lead female characters find themselves in relationships with subpar men (sorry to any Haida fans, but that relationship wasn't developed well) which represents how Rosaria began Sink or Swim in a relationship with Ben. Something that connects Secretary, Funny Girl, and The Devil Wears Prada is how its female protagonist undergoes a transformation in terms of presenting herself through the attire she wears. Additionally, in the case of Funny Girl, I took inspiration in how Barbra Streisand's character defied idealized female beauty standards. Fanny Brice found a role at the Follie’s for her comedy, not her appearance, but as she accumulates wealth we see her become a glamorous woman who gains the attention of a traditionally handsome gambler. Beyond portraying a deeply inappropriate workplace relationship, Impeachment provided me a lot of inspiration in how her voice should sound and the various ways she wears her hair.

FOR PIETRO

Starting from the left side, we have Mad Men, The Sopranos, Henry Tomasino of Mafia II, and Michael De Santa of GTA V. On the right side we have lyrics from “Count Me Out” by Kendrick Lamar, Benny of Fallout New Vegas, Hades from Lore Olympus, and the musical Company.

Video games played a bigger role in Pietro's characterization than I realized. Benny was my first source of inspiration from Pietro, as he is the protege of a powerful man (Mr. House) who has ambitions of his own. I always felt Benny was someone who felt he could do better and be better than the man he followed. This is exactly how we'll eventually come to see Pietro's dynamic with Raphael whereas Henry Tomasino is a character I modeled Pietro's voice on and Michael De Santa? Well, when it came to dressing Pietro I always think about the clothes that are available for his character to wear. I checked out Lore Olympus before writing Sink or Swim because I wasn't sure how I wanted to characterize Pietro when it came to his relationship with Rosaria. He isn't necessarily like the boss from Secretary, he isn't Christian Gray, and while I saw LO had its critics I wanted to look over the comic and see what worked or, if there was anything I liked about Hades' characterization that could be incorporated into Pietro. Turns out there were a few things (relationship issues, therapy, a soft spot for dogs). On the subject of therapy, Pietro's sessions with Dr. Bracco are inspired by Tony's reoccurring sessions with Dr. Melfi in The Sopranos. I liked how they provided a gateway into what Tony's character is thinking, and I also thought it would be the best for readers to get to know Pietro, a quiet, vague guy, that way, but Mad Men was ultimately more of a inspiration for Pietro than Sopranos was. Inspiration from the musical Company would come a little later once I decided that Pietro was a guy with relationship troubles as the musical depicts a stable, successful man who is seemingly fine with being alone, but actually craves to receive romance and 'be alive.'

Moments Later. Ferahntics is saw the death threat and hateful message for not drawing dragon fire Kirby sleeping and not taking request, and then ferahntics is posted said "What is Happening"

2 hours later. Ferahntics is Blocked me for sending death threat and Hateful Message.

And Later, I used on another account on Computer, I using Website and Pixlr E, then I Edit on profile picture, these are Photos like Michael de Santa from GTA V, and Unknown Hanging image, and I send to inbox and hateful message as anon,

7 Hours Later Ferahntics are Posted and repost two times and then Hundreds of User are Blocking Me,

I Tried to Apologize like a childish or Logan Paul like saint, or something? And I posted and tried to apologize three times,

5 hours later, Ferahntics has reposted said "I'd love to leave this post alone, but they had the guts to make another account and send me the most insincere, most childish, most ridiculous '''apologies''' that make Logan Paul look like a saint. I realized very early on that I've always been attracted to in media and fiction, unconventional protagonists that while are heroic, they're NOT at all the typical type of "heroes" you'd expect. I've always found that way more interesting and compelling than most other regular or conventional type of stories. Michael-centric Headcanons

Davey didn’t know Michael was going to show up to his own funeral back in Ludendorff, and when he spotted him; he was mad as hell. But Michael had to be there, for the dramatics.

Michael has a collection of old vhs tapes that he’s carried around with him since the 80’s- a good percentage consisting of Solomon Richards films.

Michael’s drinking habit started in his mid-teens- he’d steal alcohol from his father and sneak out to go drinking with his friends. He liked how cool everyone thought he was for being able to get them alcohol, but eventually the weekend drinking with his friends spiraled into a dependence to escape the realities of his home life.

When they first met, right when Trevor shot that guy with his flare gun, Michael thought Trevor was honestly the coolest person he’d ever met.

Michael had always suspected that something went on with Amanda and Trevor/Brad or both of them. And when it happened, he honestly didn’t care. But as a little time passed, she got pregnant, and then they got married, it started to bug him. But too much time had passed for him to openly confront any of them about it, so he just stews in his suspicions and over-analyzes every interaction.

Everyone seems to agree that Michael was probably raised catholic. That being said, he doesn’t practice, and tells himself he doesn’t believe in anything but his ability to shoot a gun and take a life. But he still finds himself subconsciously “praying”, or something close, when bad things happen; and it’s a habit that pisses him off so badly.

He cannot handle spicy food, like, at all. He had chili with jalapeño in it once and cried because he honestly couldn’t even handle that.

Basically canon, but he always has to be in control, to the point of micromanaging everything everyone does. Brad and Trevor being so out of control back in the day was one of the main points of contention between them- because he couldn’t tell them exactly what to do.

One of the reasons he likes Franklin so well is because he does follow orders. He may question Michael, but he also wants to learn from him and so he’s easier to order around. He does genuinely like Franklin- obviously, but he loves being listened to like he’s the leader.

Big classic rock and old school country enjoyer. Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, Hank Williams Jr., etc.

He genuinely wishes Franklin was his son- he’s such a smart, adaptable, skilled young man that Michael wishes he could have raised him as his own and shown him the ropes from the get go.

Michael and Amanda genuinely try to love each other, but because of how their relationship started, it’s always been forced. And with Michael’s persistence to try to be “the perfect family”, he’s put even more strain on them to the point where she genuinely doesn’t feel like she can fit his image of what a family “should be”.

He secretly enjoys yoga, but he’d rather die than admit it to anyone.

He’s incredibly self conscious about himself. After becoming Michael De Santa, he had to let Michael Townley go. But Michael Townley was the dangerous stick up artist, he was the high school jock, he was a leader; to him, he was someone important. But Michael De Santa is just a fat, washed up, old man in a failing marriage with kids that resent him. And he’s honestly grown to hate being Michael De Santa.
