AYO??? Heavy season 4 spoilers discussion under the cut
Sooo that blogpost about eva's past mentioning her living as a kid with her mother, father and Cleophée, and then getting sent to train as a sadida bodyguard, with no indications of her and cleo not necessarily having a tough family life.. (and unrelated I think the dad? rode a dragodinde. Sorry I had no clue where to write this vital fact)
Are now effectively obsolete.
I wonder if the rest of blog stories (such as that about az having a lil adventure before even hatching, or getting the closest to a kind of a rough estimate of armand's age (afaik) as he was a teen when amalia was a young kid (also their mother's spirit watched over them thanks to the tree of life I think?. That was so sweet :'( ) are obsolete too.. I don't think they necessarily need to be.
I'm watching the toross episode, and while I am obviously sad the cra sisters had this sad background, part of me is kinda glad cause while happy, the little blog perfect family was a bit underwhelming when compared to.. everybody else's family quirks
It seems all guilde des murmurs members were family but not all were cras (or at least they were rare not bow using cras which would be neat) which does make sense worldbuilding-wise.
HOOO THE SADIDA KING BEING ONE OF THEIR MOST LOYAL CLIENTS THOUGH OGHHHH GASP. I thought he was fully "good" but this adds a new depth and moral greyness to the king, as many krosmoz esp royals do in the franchise which is an exciting addition! Now I'm not saying he's like. Secretly evil, but instead of an always good-presented king, it's heavily implied he hired assassins against his enemies. VERY frequently at that. We don't know if his enemies were truly evil but still this is quite a surprise and layer! IF AMALIA N ARMAND LEARN ABOUT THIS I WILL LOSE IT... Dunno if the queen was a part of this, she was more laissez-faire on royalty stuff. Not that means she was a BAD queen, as far as we know for now she was good and loved, but much as her daughter, she loved to sneak and go on adventures. Maybe the king stopped his merc-hiring thing time ago and repented about it, he changed his ways, but, yeah this adds more depth and a twist.
Did the king always plan having eva as a bodyguard for amalia since he might have guessed she had a great potential as per her kin does? I don't necessarily think so, again, not going on the EEEVIL KING REAL tirade. For now we have no proof. Eva seemed to regard the sheram sharm family well. I wanna think the reason why madagaskane chose the king wasn't fully out of his loyal client or king status, but because he supposed he could be caring.
Of course if you wanna go gritty you can imagine eva getting picked as a bodyguard was deliberate, that the slightly older, talented with the bow kid was a good helping hand for the king's youngest child. Armand probably had his own bodyguard(s). And this could help build loyalty to the princess but... Too cynical for me, really.
Wonder if, going by this though, cleo not getting picked was cause of her less standing talent compared to eva or her being more childish n clashing w amalia. Idk. That's my last addendum.
Also I'm sooo glad they explained why eva and cleo have always had this extraordinary bow talent even for a cra. Don't get me wrong I'm the biggest hater of "oh there was not any hard job only magical talent" situations, but, aside from talent not being equal amongst the sisters, I feel it's a question of hard work. We can see it imo in Evas training ethic with Flopin. She has always tried to teach him hardwork.
So, I believe Eva is quite talented, perhaps even quite talented for a regular guilde des murmurs relative's standards, but she for sure has and keeps quite working on her abilities too
Can you tell I've been obsessively watching this on repeat for the last few hours? Can you tell how little I care and how I'm gonna keep doing it until it's burned onto my brain?

I decided to re-upload it as a video, instead of a link.
Just a heads up - you gotta have an official Percedal family portrait now, or it's a crime.
Like I’m talking about Dally, Eva, Flopin, Elely, Pin, Goultard, Cleophee, and Madagaskan.
This family is a big one, consisting of exactly four iops and four cras, in equal numbers. That’s why it would be so cool to see them all grouped for one portrait 💕
been obsessing over a redemption arc because not only would it help to fill up that feeling of a fucking sad good cliff hanger and missed opportunities but it gives such a good thing cause if i'm not wrong and they act on it in-show we could get flopin development finally and evangelyne having rebuilt a better relationship and finally conversating with her dad slightly alike to what she has with cleome in s2.
I honestly feel like it would also be pretty fair for a redemption arc because a lot characters that have done a lot in the past have gotten their interesting redemption arc, so not only would it play into the current thing of massive redemption arcs for everyone season but it would be nice to actually see bonding between eva, madagaskan and flopin.
especially with the whole cra characters lacking attention quite a bit
it would be awesome trust, hoping they take it up in the show instead of in the webtoon 😭
Today, Tot posted a tweet about Wakfu on X. He shares his vision for the series and talks about the upcoming webtoon.
I translated the tweet in English below but here's the link to Tot's post: https://twitter.com/Totankama/status/1768938315409994040

Hello everyone,
First of all, thank you very much for your support. The last episodes of Wakfu Season 4 are now available on Okoo, and I thank you for watching them in such large numbers. Our partner is very pleased with the results, which allows us to consider the future with peace of mind. Your feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are delighted about it. For us, it's the most beautiful reward.
However, some of you have expressed disappointment, particularly regarding the narrative arc of Flopin and his grandfather, Madagaskane. You also want to know more about what happened to the gods.
Allow me to explain the follow-up about that and our narrative intentions.
Firstly, as you know, the Krosmoz universe is constantly evolving. Nothing is ever completely over. Each of our creations always offers you an adventure that concludes but leaves other questions unanswered.
This is somewhat our trademark and is closely linked to the number of media we are dealing with simultaneously. Let's take, for example, the Dofus movie. Joris' story ends, and the entire adventure unfolds from our hero's point of view. Who trapped Julith? This information isn't provided, as we've kept it for potential follow-ups and connections with other projects. It was a "key" piece of information, but it didn't prevent you from focusing on the journey of our little hero.
For Wakfu, we operate in the same way. During writing, I choose one hero's perspective, and it's their storyline that I will favour. I don't want to neglect the others (because I love them just as much), and some narrative arcs may be started and then picked up in other media. I understand this may be frustrating when you prefer one character over another and feel they're not sufficiently highlighted. During this season, I clearly favoured the Eliatropes and their family dynamic.
We can never know if what we offer in animation will have a sequel. I've already explained the reasons why. Consequently, narrative choices have to be made. Some might say, "In that case, don't start anything new". Honestly, that would be really sad, and the whole thing would have less scope.
You have to imagine the Krosmoz as a living, gestating organism. Just because you don't have all your answers now doesn't mean they won't arrive soon or very soon.
In concrete terms, the webtoon/manga "The Great Wave" will allow you to reunite with Yugo and Amalia a few months after the end of Season 4.
Flopin and Madagaskane have a story in development. We've opened a door for these two characters with the idea of creating a beautiful series focusing on the relationship between a grandfather and his grandson. We didn't "forget" them; on the contrary, we'll give them a lot of space.
The story of the Goddess, Rasha, and the gods is at the heart of Waven [t/n talking about the MMORG]. You'll learn more about them through the game. It's a topic we'll also address in a potential animated sequel. In fact, it's a storyline we've been working on for years and is one of the most important ones to come.
Regarding the Mechasms, however, there are no plans for them, for reasons I may explain in detail one day. This doesn't mean we won't see them again, but I'd like them to remain completely mysterious, with their intentions unfathomable.
I understand this may be frustrating for some because these projects take time to develop. But if you take a step back, you'll understand that it also allows us to position ourselves in the long term.
We work on the Krosmoz universe over time, with the means at our disposal, and depending on opportunities, we may be more or less ambitious.
Thanks to you and your presence, we're breaking viewship records, and the future looks bright. I hope we can move forward with amazing animation projects faster than we have done so far and quickly provide answers to your enthusiastic questions.
Thank you and see you soon, Tot.
[T/N: This is my translation of Tot's tweet. I'm not a native English speaker but, I hope you can understand what's going on.]
do you ever think about how in season 4 Goultard chooses to go with Percy and his family to their house and he stays with them and Elely calls him big brother and eventually he calls her little sister and he's by her side when Eva and Flopin are fighting Madagaskan and he helps train her but at the end of the day when Flopin is gone and they're having a family hug he stays back? because I think about it everyday and I think it'll kill me eventually
If Eva and Cleo were adopted by the Sadida King then since they’re way older that means they were there when Amelia was born and they knew Amelias mom longer then she did(which definitely lead to some emotional conversations). It also explains why Cleo and Amelia hate each other considering Eva has been Amelias bodyguard for years Cleo may’ve gotten jealous that her only living family(to her knowledge) was spending all her time with someone else and took it out on Amelia leading to a mutual hatred, While we’re taking this can i mention the fact their dads named is Madagaskan? I mean its hard to take him seriously when his name is literally 2 words away from Madagascar.
Eliatrope creates a panopticon, allowing her to see everyone in the world of twelve (or nearly everyone).
Meanwhile, Madagaskan, a mere mortal, did the same thing, but with sound. This blind guy can just hear sounds other continents away, and do so without anyone suspecting a thing.
There's a deep irony that a goddess of creation's method to keep watch on the world is deeply inferior to that of a mere mortal, who can spy on people without them knowing.
Okay, this is probably just me being petty, but if by the time they appear the Percedal family are the only ones who don't go through soul-crushing trauma in the webtoon, I'm rioting against ToT and his blantant favouritism towards anything Iop-related. Either we all suffer unspeakable horros or none of us do, you hear me?
So I'd better see the aftermath and ramifications of Eva and Tristepin dealing with Flopin running away to be with his stranged, assassin grandfather because they failed to make him feel like he belonged in his own family.
I want to see Élely missing her brother and wondering if she ever did something to push him away to the point he'd rather be with a complete stranger over her. Even though I know this is too heavy a burden for a seven-year-old kid to shoulder, I want Élely to blame herself and her behaviour on Flopin leaving. I want this to be a life-altering event for her, a turning point in her life that will shape the person she grows up into in Waven.
Rasha is still in Pin's body! In Waven, the World of Twelve has been overridden by shushus! There's no way that is a coincidence. I want to see the events leading up to the shushus' eventual presence in the World of Twelve, and I need to see Tristepin question whether Madagaskan was right or not to say he only ever put Eva and the kids in danger by realising the evil creature terrorising everyone and possessing his infant son is all his fault.
If Amalia were to die (DEAR GOD, PLEASE LEAVE HER ALONE!), I need Eva to bawl her eyes out for losing her best friend and the one person she's always been closer to than her actual sister! You already robbed us of their friendship in seasons 3 and 4, Ankama, don't go half-assing it again!
The Percedal family is ripe with drama and unresolved issues. There's no way I'll accept everything going just peachy with them while Yugo, Amalia, Adamaï, and most likely Master Joris are put through Hell.
