There is a powerful and beautiful film that is being produced about Fakir Musafar, the body modification movement, and so much more, directed by Angelo Madsen Minax. It features interviews with Cleo Dubois, Ron Athey, Annie Sprinkle, and many more. Even the preview/teaser featured at this link is beautiful and powerful in and of itself. Check it out and donate if you can. https://donate.uniondocs.org/campaigns/a-body-to-live-in/ @anniesprinkled @ronathey_4 @cleodubois @angelomadsen #ABodyToLiveIn #BodyModification #Documentary #DocumentaryFilm #Fakir #FakirMusafar https://www.instagram.com/p/CkrAkxkuDPD/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

North by Current Angelo Madsen Minax USA, 2021 ★★★ heavy
Always on the verge of going "dude, you sure you want to show this much?" (or maybe past that point and I just can't stop watching). Also, the word "guilt" is never mentioned (as far as I can remember) but its presence is overwhelming.
I could see why the "nice" ending seems to come and go too quickly and maybe even feel a little bit rushed, but when you go through that many bad things, anything good that comes your way might seem too fragile to even look at for too long. Let's take good care of it and make it last.
