Lord Loki Loves Chaos

As a magical practitioner and spirit medium, I talk to spirits all the time. Whether they are gods, goddesses, demons, ghosts, poltergeists, relatives, whatever. They never stop talking and it's not the life I would have choosen. To be real. Anyway, here's my personal experience with someone else's "god" they work with.

It's mid October, I was working as a scare actor, at a haunted house. I had asked my old co worker for a ride to work as I was having trouble driving home after performing as my character. I had broken my right ankle and I lived a shorter distance from them. They agreed to help me out as they lived closer to work than I did and we coordinated when I would drive to their house.

I get to their house, get out of the car and I immediately see Loki sitting literally on top of their home. I look at Loki and said, "Hey Bro.", and tells me I should enter into the house by ascending an unsafe staircase. Every single cell within my body is screaming "NO! DO NOT DO THAT!.". I look at Loki and say, "Um, so I'm pretty sure, I will 100% fall through that staircase and my ankles is already kind of busted, so I don't really think that's the thing, I should do.". Loki jumps down from the roof of the house and says, "Well, don't you believe in God? I know you pray to God, every night. What is it is you pray, crying yourself to sleep at night? What is that prayer you say: 'She will not fall, the olds gods walk with her?'. I believe that is the one! Now, listen carefully to me, here's the rules at this house: 'I am God'." Now I know this is the worst idea and request I've gotten from a spirit and I panic. Loki looks right at me and says, "Well, I told you the rules! You got your fancy prayer! Let's play a game with your friend up there! Go up the stairs! Hurry before they look at their phone and realize you're here!". I'm mortified but say, "Ok. Why though? What purpose does this serve?". Loki answers back, "This is actually really important but you'll find out why later.".

I take a deep breath while walking towards the staircase with every spirit and fiber of my body screaming, not to do it while reciting what Loki called my "fancy prayer". I get to the top and knock on the door and I hear, "Oh my god! Dude are you on the staircase?!", from inside the house. My co worker runs downstairs and outside and says, "You shouldn't be up there, that staircase isn't good!.'.

At this point, I'm having a mild heart attack realizing how dangerous it was for me to be on a faulty staircase, two stories up in the air. I look at Loki and he saids, "Hold out your hand and I'll walk with you cause I'm God here, remember? You will not fall!.". I do what he says, and almost throw up when I finally reach the bottom of the stairs.

My co worker looks at me and says, "I did not think we were going to work today.", and replied back, "Yeah, apparently Loki is God here.'.

Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. Also HOW does he take these on and off. Experts weigh in

#viktor #arcane #ig my assumption would be that he wears both simultaneously cause in the scene where he injects the shimmer #it seems implied that he just threw off his clothes and kept experimenting #so one might assume he was already wearing the smaller one underneath #tho it is a funny image to think of him just being like 'one sec i gotta go all the way home and grab my other brace to do this'#he can take off the back brace too cause hes not wearing it in the scene where he's in the hospital bed and you can see his shoulder #where the strap would be #but that one seems to make even less sense functionality wise #everything looks like its screwed together #or screwed INTO him #but only the top bolts on his spine are i think #in the close ups of his back brace model it looks like theres cushioning underneath the parts of it that cover the rest of his spine #so he can take it off. but HOW #what parts of it unscrew/detatch to pull open and off #does it not do that at all and he just has to shimmy it off his shoulder and all the way down his legs to get it off like a romper #the shape language of the designs are cool but like. tell me how it wooorrkkksss #forgive me if im just dumb and dont know at all how braces work and theres a very simple practical explanation for all this #any king who wants to infodump about mobility aids at me....the floor is yours #something to be said i suppose about the fact that zaunites have crazy prosthetics with wild augmentations that work flawlessly #and piltover's like. idk heres some fucking uncomfortable ass metal. salo gets wheelchair in non ada compliant place #they havent ever needed to adapt to accommodate disabilities etc etc #or maybe artists were just like 'heres a design' and everybody clapped and didnt give it a second thought #and then they just turned off the visibility on the mesh when they didnt need it knowing thered not be a scene where its taken off #dont even wanna THINK about what that rig would look like #like 40 different controllers #soft body and rigid hard surfaces needing to move together....#a cold chill just shot up my spine #<- guy who is only an animator and doesnt know how to rig #forgive the magic wand tool with zero cleanup. i am lazy
